Customer service: 2/5 Nails: 1/5 Price: moderate Madison nails is my moms favorite nail shop so I decided to go here instead of my go-to nail shop. First, their customer service is not great. The lady who did my nails, Candy, was not friendly at all. Everytime I asked a question or told her to fix the shape of my nails, she would give me an attitude. Second, my nails were not shaped the way I wanted (squared/sharp) no matter how many times I kept telling her. My nails were thick and lumpy and the owner told me it was because of the color I chose and my nails were naturally lumpy?? However, I always get nude/pink colors and my nails never turned out like this. I asked for a fake nail on my ring finger since my nail broke and the lady owner applied it super thick and did not match my natural nails at all. She didn't even care to file the side or clean up the skin around. + my mom was also unhappy with her nails. The prices here are a little more expensive than what I'm used to. They charged $10 for removal of shellac, $5 for the extra nail and $27 for a shellac mani. For 2 manis and 1 pedi, we paid about $120 w/ tip. I would recommend Sola nails in burien instead. Better service and prices.

When my usual technician is gone, I realize how much I value her great work! Trinh is my technician of choice. She routinely provides excellent waxing and nail treatment. Decor and cleanliness remains excellent each visit. So why did I drop a star?... Not all excellence is found in each technician. Customer service remains great, but technique varies. Loan, offers great nail service so I will keep coming back to work with her while Trinh is on holiday. Waxing provided by another technician was below par so my search will be elsewhere until Trinh returns.

Great first time experience. The salon was clean and my manicurist took her time which was well appreciated. Far too often when I ask for a shellac manicure i get a nice polish but they forget the quality is in the manicure first and foremost. This time I got both!

Not very happy. I got a shellac manicure and when I was done, I was told I had to pay $37 which included $5 for them to take off the shellac I had on. Cool, thanks for telling me from the start. They did this the last time with my pedicure. I apparently picked a color that costs $5 more because it has a silver cap. Again, thanks for telling me from the start. So I ask for a price list and she tells me they don't have one, but then asks if I have cash for a tip. Uhhh really? How rude is that for you to ask me for a tip??? And if I don't, then what? Of course I was giving a tip, even with all your hidden charges you fail to tell anyone about. Then not even 3 hours after my nails were done, they're already chipping. All I did was go home and watch a movie with my kids. Very frustrated. They got 2 stars only because the massage was good.

Crappy ass job done by this salon!

I've been going to this nail salon for the past 2 years now since it's close to home but after today I don't think I can go there. I got my nails done last Friday July 1st and my left thumb already chipped and came off, I remember that day too they were super busy and I felt like Mimi (the one who did my nails) was rushing and in a hurry and not taking her time like she usually does. I come in there on July 5th (only 4 days after I got it filled) hoping they can fix it, granted it was a little busy in there, but they were all so rude and short with me and didn't even bother asking me to come in later, they just said they are busy! So bye bye Madison nail salon!!

The staff were sweet and quiet, which I didn't mind My pedicure turned out great, but my gel manicure was rough - it was still tacky hours later, and had a messy streak on my thumb that I didn't notice until I got home. It turns out that my nail beds had taken a beating as well - two toes and a finger had small cuts to heal from being pushed too far from the finger. I did see the owner doing another appointment that looked fantastic, and they fixed another girl's peeling dip nails for free, but the fact that her dip peeled after one day makes me think the quality here is hit-or-miss. Convenient location, but I wouldn't go back.

Thankfully I only asked for two fingers but now both of those fingers just look like glitter. On top of everything else, it was the wrong glitter color I asked for too :( I probably would come back to this place because there was no wait for a walk in, but only for a simple mani/pedi. Or to get a full set of gel X with designs since it looks like they do a good job at that.

I was able to make an appointment online easily and although it was a busy summer day, there were still a few parking spots in front of the salon. They're tucked away near the waterfront on Lake Washington in Madrona Park, which supports the relaxing experience! The salon is beautifully decorated with separate spaces for manis & pedicures. I thought it was unique that once you come in, they have you put your name on a little kit of nail tech tools for their visitors they put aside for the next time you come in. I went with a gel pedicure and removal of gelx nails for a basic mani to give my nails a little break. I was so excited to see they had various options for manicures, such as dip nails and gelx (which i appreciate so much more than acrylic!and not all salons offer). Their menu for options in pedicures and drinks all look so good ! I went with the spritzer which was delicious. I cant wait to come out again soon ! Go out and visit them, they're lovely and will take good care of you.

I ended up booking an appointment and went back midday on a Monday. The ambiance is incredibly relaxing and feels much more like a full spa than a typical nail salon. I booked a mid-tier pedicure and it was amazing. When you arrive, you get to curate your experience from their herb, scrub, and tea bar - smelling everything and choosing your scents before even picking your polish. It's such a fun and thoughtful touch. The service itself felt truly luxurious. The massage was fantastic, the chair reclines fully, and I ended up dozing off with a heated eye mask and neck pillow. It really feels like you're being taken care of from start to finish. My nail tech was wonderful - she walked me through each step, explained what she was using, and was attentive the entire time. This is not your everyday pedicure - it's a full-on experience. I'll absolutely be back.
