Okay I just have to take some time to rave about the experience I had with Ed at Master Muffler. I showed up with my engine light on needing a safety and emissions sticker as well as a diagnostic on what was wrong with my car. I feel that any other auto care place would have most likely taken advantage of the fact that I'm a young woman, alone in an auto shop needing to get my car serviced same day and charged through the roof. At first when Ed quoted me, he read off a price a little higher than I imagined it would be. Without me even saying anything, he said out loud "that's not right we would never charge that much" and checked again and the price dropped to a very reasonable quote, which I was happy to take. He fixed my car on the spot and immediately the check engine light went off. He then stayed late on a Saturday to wait for me to drive around and get a feel for how it was running and if I was happy with it. When I came back, very satisfied with how it felt, he immediately did the safety and emissions test for free! Man, I can't say enough how grateful I am for good people in this world who are honest! Came here to get an oil change and an inspection on my Boyfriends Duramax. I chose master muffler because it was close and they didn't have a wait to get me in, but I was pleasantly surprised by the service! I came in with my Subaru the next day because it was also in need of an oil change, they did the oil change and let me know my brake pads were low and my CV axle boots were worn out. Since I hadn't heard much about their repair service I shopped around and ended up getting my axles and brakes fixed at Clark's, who quoted me lower than master muffler, but charged me more in the end. I should have just stuck with Master Muffler in the first place! I would have saved a couple hundred bucks and would have been treated nicer. All the mechanics here are super friendly and they tell it to you straight without talking down to you! As a woman I especially appreciate it when mechanics treat me like an actual person! read more

I never had a better experience than I had at this shop. I went in several months ago with a loud rattling sound under my car. They put it up in the air and found a bracket that was bent against the exhaust system which they repaired and didn't charge me anything. This last week I took my car back to their shop with another rattling noise after I had gotten high centered on a tree stump and they put it up in the air and found a broken rubber exhaust hanger that had torn loose and was making the noise. He said he had one lying around the shop and installed it which cured the problem. Again when I asked him the cost he said no charge. The people working there have never seen me before and are not my long lost relatives. I will return to their shop for any problems I have with my car because I trust them completely to make any repairs my car may need at an honest price. read more

Marvelous Shop, fair service, exceptionally friendly staff"! I moved her about four years ago. My sister told me about this shop, she said I won't let anyone else work on my car! Now I understand why! "They go over your car, checking everything." They'll even do the emission test, and you get a certificate showing you passed, you pay for your new Tab, he'll put it on you car license plate. Always checks oil, only change if needed. Tops all the fluids and checks your tires! Ed and son are the best! I've have had best service here than any where Love bringing my car here because of the "One Stop Shopping!" I love this place. They do great work, they're incredibly friendly and willing to work around whatever schedule fits for you. I never worry about asking them questions, because they're thorough, and don't charge or recommend anything that isn't needed. I completely trust my car and my wallet to them, which is something I've never felt anywhere else! Ed and is crew are honest, work in a timely fashion, and do great work at a fair price. After dealing with too many auto repair places that made the mistake of thinking I didn't know enough to know they were trying to sell me services I didn't need (i.e., rip me off), it's totally refreshing to find a shop that cares about seeing me more than once and treating me fairly. This was the best experience we have had with a mechanic in a long time! We took my wife's car in to get a bulb replaced in the dash (very reasonably priced) and asked a few questions about a problem my car had been having. He just asked for my keys, ran a few tests then sat in the lobby with us for a few minutes discussing what he found. They were very nice and helpful! I was having problems with my brakes and they diagnosed the problem without charging. The staff was nice and the lobby was a lot nicer then most places. Prices were more than fair and service was speedy- even after I had to come back 15 minutes later for a safety since the DMV doesn't accept their own receipt forms for inspections. read more
