Tried Maple & Ash with their Miami Spice menu and honestly I'm not rushing back anytime soon. The place itself if a nice ambiance. Dark and candle-lit, but very noisy. There were so many large parties which is great for them but ultimately the space itself is so loud it's quite hard to hear each other and even the waiter. Everyone had to wait for their table that night. When we arrived we had to wait a little and when we were leaving people were waiting despite all of us having reservations. I'm not even bothered by that but the bar was very quick tp become crowded with guests waiting that there were just people everywhere. Anyways, onto food. They had two kinds of spice menus, a $65 and a $95. Our waitress mentioned the 95 was more seafood forward with their special tower. We went with the 65 menu and glad we did because I was quite full afterwards and wanted meat anyway. I got the tuna tartare as my appetizer, and strongly advise against it. It really wasn't for me. It was watermelon, tuna, avocado, and some cream on top that was spicy. Not the kind spice that I like to eat. Maybe it was horseradish? I'm not sure but the mesh of flavors just wasn't for me. My mom got the wedge salad which I should tell anyone who may order it that it's a chopped salad with the ingredients of a wedge salad, not an actual piece of the iceberg lettuce. The salad was alright but nothing to write home about. Honestly, I think we are spoiled with the wedge salad from Daniel's and Truluck's that are just phenomenal (especially Daniel's). for main we got the filet mignon medallion that came with potato puree. Steak was great. Honestly saved the meal from where it was headed with the appetizers. We also ordered two sides from the regular menu which were fine and I'm glad we tried them. One critique for the steak though was that their knives are very dull! Made it hard to cut the filet. For dessert we tried one of each option. The coconut one was pretty good, the strawberry tres leches are also tasty, and the chocolate cake was also good. Drinks we had wine but also when you arrive there is a nice welcome cocktail. None of us actually drank it because it just tasted like sugar water but it was a nice touch along with a little crudités when you sit down. Food took a while to come but no doubt because they had a lot of people dining in the restaurant. Our waitress was nice but with the kitchen backup we were waiting quite some time in between each course.

We visited Maple & Ash in Miami about a month ago, and I've finally had a chance to write this review. Our party of seven decided to go with the "I Don't Give a F***" tasting menu. It's definitely a splurge, so we were excited to see what the experience would be like. The variety of dishes that came out was impressive, and there was plenty of food to share. Unfortunately, the execution didn't live up to the price. The first seafood dish that was served was so salty that our table had to send it back. While the replacement was a little better, it was still much saltier than it should have been. The biggest disappointment was the steak. It was incredibly tough and chewy, making it difficult to enjoy, especially for what should have been the highlight of the meal. On a positive note, the desserts were excellent, and the cocktails were probably the best part of the evening. The service was also friendly throughout the meal. For a restaurant with this reputation and price point, I expected a much more consistent dining experience. While there were a few highlights, the quality of some of the key dishes didn't justify the cost, and I left feeling disappointed.

I've been wanting to try this place out since they opened. So glad we finally made it. We mistakenly walked into the wrong place so when you go in, make sure you take the elevator upstairs if not, you'll be visiting a completely different spot. Once we did arrive, we were welcomed with open arms and in a very professional and classy way. Our server was exceptional. She not only explained the specials very eloquently, but she also answered all of our questions very patiently. I was expecting the food to be good, but it was actually excellent. We ordered two appetizers and split the 20 ounce bone in ribeye. It was cooked to perfection. The ambience is elegant, with a bit of old school speakeasy charm. I must say that we truly enjoyed the whole experience.

I visited Maple & Ash today for a friend's birthday. The food was excellent, and our waiter, Zafar, was wonderful. The staff delivering our food were equally lovely, and even the doorman was incredibly warm and welcoming. They were all fantastic. Unfortunately, the front desk experience was the complete opposite. I arrived before everyone else and was told to wait at the bar, which was fine. Once five of our eight guests had arrived, I asked if we could be seated. The restaurant had plenty of empty tables, but they acted like I was asking for something outrageous. The "manager" then asked if I was comfortable ordering for my missing friends because they like everything to come out at the same time. Honestly, what? Like, HUH? I'm the guest. It's my friend's birthday. We're paying to dine there. Why am I being made to run on the restaurant's schedule instead of being made to feel comfortable? Born and raised in Miami, I know this city's restaurant scene well. I know great hospitality when I experience it, and this was NOT it. The front desk staff came across as inexperienced, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was eye-rolling over a simple seating request, which is unacceptable at a restaurant positioning itself as a luxury dining experience. The irony is that once we were finally seated, everything was great. The food was delicious. Zafar took wonderful care of us. The table service was excellent. But first impressions matter, and the front desk is doing this restaurant a huge disservice. Great food. Great waiter. Great table service. Terrible front desk customer service. Come for the food, but don't expect to feel like a valued guest when you first walk in.

I came here for my birthday and really enjoyed the whole experience. Inside has a very moody vibe and the tables have their own wax candles. The only con about coming while the sun is still out is if you're sat near the windows where the sun will hit you right in the face in certain seats. The food was tasty and the service was great! We wanted to share a dessert, however, it was only available at the bar the service manager went above and beyond and got us that dessert.

The place is nice and spacious with a nice bar as well. Service has been great when I have gone and friendly. You have to find parking in a nearby garage or something as parking is scarce. I am not much of a drinker but I enjoy the entry drink they give you. Also highly recommend the Parker bread you have to order separately as a side. Delicious. Food is good overall. I have had the filet, aged meatballs, mac and cheese among other items. Prices are high so expect to spend a bit. I would definitely come back as I have a couple of times already.

Saw this place on Instagram a few times when I went to Miami for work so I decided to try it out. I went during the HH and got an old Fashioned that was great and the seafood tower. The seafood tower was great. It is spicy because of the chili aioli sauce but if you like spice you will love it. I'm not big on spicy but I still enjoyed it. I sat at the bar and my waitress was great and attentive. When I was leaving it was raining and I didn't have my umbrella and the doorman walked me to my car to ensure I didn't get wet. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Miami

Never disappoints whether in Chicago or Miami. Had some A5 Cap steak rare with Pillows of Love as a side with it. Lobster dumplings came first though. Take it back glass of Boudreaux came first and it was top notch. This place just never disappoints.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. Everything we ordered was flavorful and filling! Service was 10/10. Very attentive and gave great recommendations. Definitely worth every $$. Between people talking and the music, it was extremely loud. We had to lean in to talk to each other. Wasn't a fan of that at all. But that wouldn't stop me from going back lol.

Let me start off with this has always been one of my favorite testosterone I was super excited to have them join us in Miami the drinks are amazing and the food was by far delicious and met the expectations that I already knew that it would. The sea food baller tower is for sure something you should get if you come here it's loaded and can feed 6 ppl we were a party of 5 and we still had so much left over. We also ordered steaks and mash potatoes. This is definitely a great place to go for a date night and for adults who are looking for a good dinner or great drinks it's made for an adult vibe not for children but for sure it's definitely a great place to go with friends or for happy hour or to host a birthday party. The staff was amazing from when we first came ima nd had drinks at the bar and then all the way to us getting sat down and having our dinner. I can't wait to go back soon and if you have a chance and more time you can go down stairs and check out their lounge where they play music and have a bar and space for dancing. It's the perfect spot to keep the night going!

TDLR: sneaky over tipping off food that was not available and didn't come out correctly. Over tipped $30 on food we didn't even get or eat. I wanted to like this place since a couple of people have said they had good experiences. Sadly, it was underwhelming. I can cook a better steak at home. The only redeeming thing was the wagyu carpaccio. I think other diners deserve to know how sketchy this place is and being that it's a chain, there is no way that this is an accident. We ordered sparkling water which took 15 mins to arrive. Then we ordered skirt steak and it wasn't available so it didn't even come out of the kitchen (tipped on this). Because it was not available we got the the classic rib eye instead. The server said he can comp a couple of sides to make up for the skirt steak not being available. The first rib eye came out well done (tipped on this). So it got sent back and another one came medium which is what we wanted but it was very over salted and tasted like it was made on a dirty grill. We got sides of asparagus and fries were fine. Branzino was bland. Not worth getting. All in all, the food is below average. The service was average but seeing the way they operate by charging mandatory tip for food we didn't get, I will not be going back.

So tonight was my first time dining at Maple & Ash, and here is my honest review. We started at the bar for drinks, but the bartender was standoffish and it took a while to get her attention. Once seated, there was another delay before our waitress came over, and we had to ask someone to send her to our table. When she did arrive, she was very friendly and personable. For appetizers, we had the lobster dumplings, which were just okay, and the French dip that our waitress suggested, which was amazing. The oysters on the half shell were excellent, and the Maple & Ash wedge salad was outstanding. Our waitress suggested splitting the salad and serving the bacon on the side since I do not eat pork, but the salad arrived neither divided nor with the bacon on the side. The Golden Kaluga caviar was absolutely delicious, and my Mediterranean branzino was a 10 out of 10. Dessert was the flambé, which was incredible, though next time I would ask for less rum. Overall, the food was outstanding and lived up to the hype. While our server was sweet and had a great personality, the lack of attentiveness made the experience less enjoyable. With better service, this would have been an exceptional dining experience.

The sweetness of the scallops, slight spice from the sauce, and balanced with pickled ginger...perfection. No words after bite 1, near tears after bite 2. Agnolotti (5/5): get this. The corn, crab, sauce...everything about this worked. This is like a healthy work environment where everyone lifts each other up. You'll get the sweet, the chew, the softness, the salty. Just get it. 26 oz ribeye (4.5/5) with peppercorn sauce (4/5) and bone marrow vinaigrette (5/5): okay so this dish was our main and it did not disappoint. World Cup traffic had us running 30 minutes late for our reservation, but huge props to the host for seating us on a packed night. They gave us a 90 minute limit, which worked out great for our flight timeline. We were seated outside at a tiny 2 top table (maybe it's a Miami thing). While the courtyard setup is really pretty, the tables are squished so close together. When you order as much food as we do, it's a tight squeeze and feels a bit uncomfortable (and risky for dropping dishes!). Plus, Florida heat + the abundance of flies they had outdoors is a thing. Our waitress Vanessa made sure we got all of our dishes quickly so we could make our flight. Food we ordered that are a must: Parker House Rolls (that honey butter dip is addicting), Caesar Salad, Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, and the Blue Crab Agnolotti (my absolute favorite dish of the night). Paired it with the Circus Permit cocktail which was super fun. Food that I would skip: Sent back the duck terrine. The duck steak fell flat despite all the hype, and the yellowedge grouper was covered in way too many leeks for my taste. All in all, a solid 7/10 vibe with a friendly bar up front. I'd drop in for drinks and a few specific plates, but it's not an absolute must repeat for me next time I'm in Miami.

My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, and this dish deserves special mention: it wasn't just ravioli with a hint of lobster--it actually featured generous, large pieces of lobster, which made it feel both indulgent and well worth ordering. The ambiance strikes a great balance between upscale and lively, making it ideal for both a special occasion or an elevated night out in Brickell. Now, to be clear--prices are definitely on the higher side. But in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Between the quality of the food, the execution, and the level of service, it feels justified. Bottom line...If you're willing to splurge for a memorable steakhouse experience, Dirty French Steakhouse is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Service was warm and friendly overall but not always as attentive. Small lapses stood out (most notably, red wine being poured into my champagne glass) but those things happen and were apologized. Food-wise, everything we ordered was good but some dishes felt overpriced for what they were. The beef carpaccio,l was overwhelmed by oil which dulled the delicacy of the meat. The wedge salad was similarly heavy-handed: fully tossed and drenched in dressing losing the crisp that makes a wedge shine. That said, the filet mignon was excellent: well-cooked, properly seasoned, and easily the standout of the meal. It was the dish that felt most worth its price. Overall, Miami's Dirty French is a great choice for a sexy steakhouse night out with a lively atmosphere and solid food.

I love the spinach ones, and my husband is all about the meat which he can't get enough of. We came as a group of six, and everything was timed perfectly. Drinks came first, then appetizers, and just as we finished, the main courses arrived so we could enjoy everything at the perfect temperature without feeling rushed. I had the mushroom ravioli so so good and perfect for vegetarian option. My husband and friends loved the NY strip steak and the chicken milanese. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

I took advantage of their 4 course $60 dinner special (not listed on their website but offered every day, including weekends) and went with the Caesar Salad, 14 oz skirt steak, fries and flan. Each dish was very good, the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the fries were crispy and good, and the flan was probably the best I've ever had. I enjoyed a very good glass of Malbec reserve with my meal. La Cabrera also offers a $39 lunch special. Ambiance was charming and the service was also very good. Far superior choice, food wise, to Chop.

We started the night with amazing cocktails made by Julio behind the bar. This is my third time to this location and his drinks are always so good. The perfect balance of flavor, sweetness and alcohol. The food was perfect. I think these were the best Calamari's I had in a long time. The lemon and the sauce sizzle on top was absolutely delicious. The shrimp cocktail was filling too. It was huge. The best part was the dessert! The butter cake and the chocolate cake were exquisite! It made the night even better. The cherry on top was when the manager, Nick, came by to say hi. He's super attentive and it was a pleasure to chat with him. His team is so friendly and happy, I can only assume it's his leadership that nurtures this environment. Special thanks to Becca and Jesus to being friendly and happy. You guys made a difference. :)
