I visited this rooftop restaurant last night for a birthday dinner and it was such a vibe. The views of the sky, the music, and the overall atmosphere felt fun. If you're there at 11:11pm, they bring out sparklers, and shots for all, super cool.. For appetizer, I had the tuna tartare, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. For dinner, I went with the branzino and a side of truffle oil mashed potatoes. The branzino was flavorful and perfectly cooked, but the mashed potatoes? A party of flavor in my mouth, that truffle oil elevated the potatoes and the flavor. The only downside was that the food took a little longer than expected to come out. But aside from that minor delay, everything else was wonderful. I'd still recommend this spot if you're in the area and want great views, great vibes, and great food. read more

Beautiful, picture worthy restaurant with a rooftop view. We visited on a Friday night for dinner at 9:15 and it was the perfect time to enjoy the view and DJ. We ordered the burrata appetizer, a bottle of wine, brisket ravioli and brisket ragu. Everything was exceptional! Overall, we had a wonderful date night. The restaurant itself is great. The venue is beautiful. The decor is great for photo opportunities, daytime or night time. They have a nice little view and it's a rooftop in Wynwood. The food is good too. A little pricey, but that's what you expect in that area. The menu is sort of limited in my opinion because it doesn't have that many things on it. But this is a great place for drinks and talking if you wanna go somewhere nice. Maybe even to share an appetizer. I went to La Ferneteria for a birthday dinner with girlfriends and we were blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we stepped onto the rooftop, it didn't feel like Wynwood at all -- the ambiance is upscale, the vibe is intimate and cool, and the views are absolutely gorgeous. This place is gorgeous and the service was good but unfortunately my experience kicked off with the worst espresso martini I have ever had. It was so bitter I sent it back twice and forced the third version down. My friend couldn't finish hers and they took it off the bill. This restaurant is on a beautiful rooftop on the 9th floor of a modern building in Wynwood. The service was good and the music was great. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all -- and it was not real Italian food by any stretch. The meatball was a nice portion but was so full of spices it was barely edible and it's taste and texture were neither good nor authentic. The rice balls tasted good but were not Sicilian style or authentic Italian. The $110 multi layer 2 lb. lasagna for 2 was disgusting, it was like it had rope vieja/shredded beef, it had many layers but were not authentic tasting layers, with bright red color on the top that looked like ketchup and even the texture and smell were completely off. The fruiti di mari had a bright orange sauce and also was not authentic tasting and the seafood was lackluster and disappointing. The food was good and so was the atmosphere it's a beautiful rooftop with some music and we sat in a nice spot in the corner very private. However, the service was not so great. I was here for my Birthday dinner with 5 other friends. Careful with the water they charge you by the bottle and we weren't aware. My two friends ordered drinks and waited 10 minutes and when our waiter came back he didn't know who ordered what. They just seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. This is a nice rooftop location as long as it isn't too windy, but they have serious problems in the kitchen. You would think an Argentine-owned restaurant would know how to cook steak, but clearly, they do not. I ordered a steak medium rare, which came back medium well. I sent it back. The waiter returned it to the kitchen and then brought my steak back to me now cut open in the middle, showing a part of the steak that he (or the chef) alleged was medium rare. It was somewhere between medium and medium well. I sent it back again. It then became too windy to eat there, so I asked for my new steak to go. When the new steak arrived, the waiter asked me if I wanted to unpack the "go bag" to check the steak, and I said "no" so I guess this is on me, but it never occurred to me in a million years that the steak would not be medium rare after I sent the previous steak back twice. But as I discovered when I got home, this time it was somewhere between medium well and well done. Just brutal. But still, who doesn't know how to control the temperature of a steak? As soon as I unpacked it, I could tell it was cooked to the consistency of a hockey puck. How do you even pull that off the grill and not know immediately that it was overcooked just by the feel of the steak? We had reservations at 5:30 as a party of 6 and began by ordering drinks and appetizers. Appetizers were very good! Ambiance was great. Beautiful place! We continued with drinks and food (more appetizers and entres now). At around 7:45 we asked to order a hookah and the lady from the front came to ask how long we were planning on staying? I understand if we had just been hanging out but we had never stopped ordering food or drinks so this was all surprising and now we're being kicked out! We immediately asked to speak to the manager. The manager came to see us to tell us the same thing and it's on the super nice waiter ifI may add for not rushing us. I'm extremely disappointed as this is a very good restaurant, but not great service I will not be returning and I hope that they find other ways to speak to people.
