Great dinner and service. Fritto calamari was breaded nicely and the veal Milanese was incredible. The fries were also one of the best I've had.

The margarita pizza was very good. The service was great. The restaurant was not very loud. I was hoping that the truffle hash brown would taste amazing but the hash browns were overcooked for my taste.

This spot was so good I didn't want to leave! Amazing food, service and ambiance.. and the wine? Forget about it! You absolutely have to try MC kitchen if you're ever in the Design District. You won't regret it!

Everything here is delicious! We wanted to try many things so we order a few things and shared amongst four people. The truffle pizza was so delicious. I love the Miami vibe. We parked in a garage nearby so going to the restaurant was quite convenient.

Bathroom sign for men or women?

The food and ambiance were absolutely excellent. Staff were kind and generous. HOWEVER the signs to the bathrooms are SO CONFUSING. I was out to dinner with my (now ex) wife and she went to the restroom. Feeling lonely I too went to the restroom. The signs were so confusing that I walked into the ladies room and saw my wife cheating on me. Haha, I'm just kidding. But I still despise you Susan. Pictures of the bathroom signs are below but it was such a wonderful dining experience overall!

Great lil spot for date......giving it 4/5 though due to my main course being a bit to salty for my taste Octopus and wine were spot on. The octopus was such an creative dish and was an appetizer, had me ready for the main courses. I'd go back just for this dish it was so good. And the wine was exactly what I was looking for, full body to compliment my Bolognese, a bit pricey though at 180. Pear Ravioli was great, didn't really stand out as I feel every Italian restaurant offers this dish Bolognese was not really enjoyable although adversities as a popular dish. A bit to much salt.

Good place for a party of 4+ They have a beautiful private room with glass walls. I ordered the Heritage Breed Poulet Rouge with a side of the truffle fries (not pictured). For dessert I had the tiramisu.

I can't say enough good things about my experience here. I celebrated my 30th birthday with a large dinner. After finding the menu online and looking at pictures of the beautiful restaurant, I called to book the table. For larger parties the owner organizes them herself so she gave me a call back to iron out all the details, which was amazing. She was so helpful and made great recommendations for different options for our party. When the night came we had two long tables in their beautiful main dining area and everything was amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was superb. Everyone couldn't stop talking about the Fiocchi Di Formaggio e Pera, Spaghetti Misto di Pesce, and Ricotta Cavatelli. The Palombella cocktail was also a big hit. Honestly as I write this I'm contemplating getting a take out of the Fiocchi Di Formaggio e Pera before heading back to Ft. Lauderdale today because it was that delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for a date night, celebration, or nice night out.

MC Kitchen is best left in my memories. I came here for a dinner with my BH. I should have known when it was empty. After we were seated, sat outside and were ignored for a while. We had to get up and ask for someone to help us. It was only us and other table outside. Our server came out and told us he was "in the back." He looked around and noticed we had no water glasses. He told the woman who was serving water in Spanish, "there are no clean water glasses" and to just pour the water in the wine glasses. Some good part (not a typo), their menu is via QR code so less touching of physical menus. I asked our server about the Happy Hour menu and was told it was for bar seating only; no problem at all. Next I ordered a beer that was listed on their menu, La Rubia (Wynwood Brewing). I got a "what's that?" reply. That's never good.....The server told us he was "almost certain they didn't have that" but he'd check. He came back and told us he only had two beers and didn't elaborate on both. Very well....Miami's finest tap water in fancy wine glasses it is. After our server left, another confused server came out to ask us if we've been helped. I replied yes and he walked away just as confused as he arrived. Absolutely no one there is interested in selling any product to customers. No drinks, no food, no nothing. In fact, our water wine glasses were never refilled, even as they sat empty. Right after we sat down, another table of patrons was leaving. I watched as that table sat dirty for 20-30 minutes before any employee came to bus it. Again, empty restaurant. Now onto food. At this point, being hungry, we chose the Fig Pizzetta. I've had it before and loved it. Our server offered to bring us some bread. Honestly, it tasted old and retoasted to cover the staleness. In preparation for our main and only course, our server came over with dinner plates. As I'm trying to move things to make room for the plates, he took it upon himself to touch both of our sets of silverware and bread plates (that we were currently eating on). Especially now with COVID-19, why would you do this?! At this point, this was the worst offense of our meal. The Pizzetta came out via the host, which was kind of bizarre. Why was the host serving food? So strange. The crust was so hard, I had to fight to cut it with my knife. And the figs? Nonexistent. They were so small, I thought they had put raisins on the Pizzetta. Now onto the best part of the experience, the check. Our server brought our check: $21.00, plus tax totaled $22.49. Why change the suggested tip percentages from one copy of the check to another. The first one was based on the total pre-tax, the second was post-tax. I guess in the hopes that people won't do basic math to figure out they're trying to get more money? Anyhow. I put more effort into this review than ANYONE that works there did during our experience.

The small space has such a cozy charm that makes you feel like you're dining in the heart of Italy. Our server Mirko gave us time to review the menu and made sure to answer any questions we had. He was very friendly and attentive without overly hovering, and made sure everything arrived while it was still hot from the kitchen. The food was SPECTACULAR! A meal I will certainly never forget. The "Fiocchetti Pere & Parmigiano" was sweet but had a bite from the black sesame; I've never had anything like it. And the tiramisu was delectable without being too overly sweet. Even the wine was delicious! Can't wait to visit again.

All the staff was amazing and helpful, but our waited Pedro truly made the experience. We started off with the Bruschetta Crostini, which was amazing as someone who loves truffle, and the Mozzarella Fritta. Both were amazing but what really blew us away was the Tonnarelli alla Ruota, which was served table side in a parmesan wheel, and the Agnolotti Piemontesi. They even brought out a Tiramisu for my birthday which I thought was insanely thoughtful. As long as this restaurant remains open they will ALWAYS have us as a customer!

An opulent failed attempt at fine dining…read more At first glance, the place is impressive -- beautiful cars outside, constant traffic of guests walking in, crisp white tablecloths setting the stage for what appears to be a refined dining experience. Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.

We choose the indoor seating this time around, but I think I prefer the outdoor seating. Indoors was lovely. It was dark, sexy, no bugs, and the perfect temperature. We ordered: Faust wine 5/5 All the usual free apps 5/5 Grilled Octopus 5/5 Spicy Rigatoni 5/5 Veal Parmesan 5/5 The service was great! They had amazing team work to provide the perfect high class dinning for guest. I never had to think about water being refilled, wine glass being refilled, or crumbs on the table. They checked in with us just enough. Price: If you have drinks, apps, entree, and dessert expect to spend around $300 or more. Portions: Not the largest portions for "family size" but if it's just two it may be filling enough because they give you bread, cheese, cured meats, and pickled cauliflower for the appetizers. Overall, this is one of our favorite spots and it's truly worth the hype. For it being F1 weekend it was not as hectic as expected.

I had high expectations for Carbone, especially given its reputation, but unfortunately, my…read moreexperience left me feeling disappointed. THE FOOD The food itself wasn't the problem- the value was. Charging nearly $200 for a 2.5-pound lobster and serving what appeared to be no more than 10 ounces of meat is unacceptable. I've ordered lobster countless times, and this was nowhere close to what should come from a lobster of that size. It honestly felt like a bait-and-switch. At Carbone's prices and reputation, I expected transparency and quality, not to leave wondering if I had just paid hundreds of dollars for an empty shell. It completely overshadowed the rest of the meal and left a terrible impression. THE SERVICE Our wait staff was excellent- friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. When I raised my concern about the lobster, however, there wasn't a meaningful solution offered. The manager did bring out complimentary meatballs and two slices of cake, which was appreciated, but it didn't address the actual issue. I requested the veal entrée (about $125) as a gesture of goodwill, but that request was denied. I left feeling that my concerns were acknowledged but not truly resolved. THE VIBE The ambiance is everything you'd expect from Carbone- stylish, energetic, and full of old-school charm. It's a beautiful restaurant with a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for a special occasion. Ultimately, the atmosphere and attentive wait staff weren't enough to make up for what felt like poor value and an unsatisfactory resolution to a legitimate concern. At this level of dining, guests should leave feeling impressed--not questioning whether they received what they paid for. Our total bill was close to $1000. UNACCEPTABLE.
