    Birthday celebration

We dined at Mother Wolf with a party of 20 to celebrate my friend's birthday and had an outstanding experience. The decoration and ambiance are luxurious and upscale. The family-style service was seamless, and every dish that came to the table was absolutely delicious, from the short rib meatballs, sliced steak, rigatoni vacca...( something..I forgot the full name) to the dessert! Drinks were amazing, and the service was truly top-notch, everyone very attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout the evening. Managing a group of our size is no small task, and the staff exceeded expectations. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! I want to go back !!

We made a reservation a few days in advance and grabbed a drink at the bar as we arrived a bit early. It's a really nice space and I'd come here just to grab drinks if you're looking for a classy spot. We ended up being seated at a high top, which is just the tables at the bar area. Next time I'd do a better job asking for a seat at the dining room or even overlooking the kitchen in order to watch the chefs in action. Lara was our server who was a rockstar. She knew the menu and was able to make good recommendations. We started with a Margherita pizza was thin and had a crisp, came out quick and was delicious. Good to split between two instead of bread service. Our mains were the Cacio y Pepe which was fresh and had a peppery flavor. Not bad but not my favorite. Rigatoni ragu was delicious and was my fav. I'd order this again. All the pasta is freshly made in house. Finally, we ordered a Banana bread dessert which was good for two and not too sweet. It was served with a scoop of banana flavored ice cream. I'd come here again as in my opinion it's much better than some of the overhyped Italian restaurants that you see on the gram in Miami. Make sure you make a reservation on Resy.

I finally went to Mother Wolf and it fully delivered. The vibe alone is worth it , dark, moody, romantic, and effortlessly cool. It feels like a place you go when you want the night to feel special. The food was insane. I had the short rib ragu, which was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. The focaccia bread and the was soft, warm, and dangerous in the best way. We also ordered a seafood pasta in a white sauce (don't remember the exact name, but wow), and it was perfectly balanced and so fresh. And the pizzas? To die for. We also had the short rib meatballs and they were unreal tender, flavorful, and honestly unforgettable. Service was smooth and attentive without being too much, which just added to the overall experience. Mother Wolf isn't just dinner, it's a whole moment. Perfect for date night, a celebration, or anytime you want amazing food in a seriously beautiful setting. I'd go back again and again.

Every pasta dish we tried was absolutely delicious! The servers were really friendly and professional. Rigatoni All'Amatriciana was the BEST dish out of the 3 pastas we ordered. The place is really gorgeous inside and surprisingly large. However the entrance is a little odd because it doesn't really look like an entrance but so glad we gave this place a try!

Love this spot. Our waiter really made the night - super attentive, friendly & gave excellent recommendations! The pasta was absolutely delicious - so fresh & cooked perfectly. So excited to come back here!

This restaurant is very nice, the music is nice, but the light are so dim that you could barely see the person in front of you. To be able to see the menu everyone had to turn on the light on their phone. We got there early like at 7 pm and the ambiance was nice all around but when people started to get there , the noise of people talking made you have to yell to the people in your table to be able to speak. There were a lot of personnel from the restaurant around, and even with that, the service was slow. We had to call on the waiter every time to get water in our glasses, even more after finishing with a plate, the dirty plates were left there for a long time. The food had good flavor, but the portions were a bit skimpy.. This is not my type of restaurant.

Mother Wolf is a vibe! I went a few weeks ago with some friends and we loved the experience. I must say I love the music they play here and although I wouldn't consider this place to be a dinner party, it definitely is lively and you can jam during dinner. The food is delicious. Do not miss out on the Fiori Di Zucca, which are squash blossoms that are exceptional. We got two pastas and I loved both. The rigatoni carbonara and the cacio e pepe were both solid choices that I would definitely get again. We had other stuff as well and everything was up to par. So you truly cannot go wrong here. Our server, Valentin or Valentino, was very helpful and attentive. I love it here and will be back soon!

Hidden lovely restaurant in design district. We sat at the bar but the restaurant is much larger and really cool. Open kitchen and the smells are amazing. The bartender knew his stuff and told us about the menu and even some history. He recommended the carbonara and it was good but not great. My friend actually hated it when she tried it haha. But she got old fashions and loved those. I think it would be worth coming back to try other food options.

We finally made it to Mother Wolf and it honestly lived up to the hype. We started with the meatballs and the classic focaccia, and I'm still thinking about them. The focaccia was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, super flavorful on its own like a donut. But the real standout was the meatballs. I've had a lot of meatballs at different Italian spots, and these were completely different in the best way. The texture and flavor were just next level.... super tender, rich, and clearly made with a lot of care. Not your typical heavy, overly saucy version. Service was great and everything felt very intentional. Definitely a place I'd come back to, especially just for those meatballs again.

Mother Wolf is undeniably one of the sexiest restaurants in the Design District. The vibe is immaculate: great music, stunning décor, and definitely a place where reservations are a must. We came on a Friday with another couple and ordered everything to share, as recommended. The standout of the night was the beef tartar incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. Easily our favorite dish. We tried two pastas: the spaghetti arrabbiata and the truffle pasta special (which they let us know was $150). I usually love al dente, but the spaghetti was extremely firm and honestly not a big enough portion to share. The truffle pasta was good, but not memorable. We also ordered the steak and a spicy pizza. The steak was flavorful with zero complaints, and the pizza was cooked well-done just how I like it. The short rib meatballs were another highlight rich sauce and really enjoyable. The squash blossoms needed a little salt but were overall good. Bonus points for having a knowledgeable sommelier who was super helpful. Overall: You come here for the vibe the atmosphere is beautiful, the energy is perfect for a sexy date night or a fun night out with friends. But the food itself was just okay. Gorgeous experience, but not a standout.

Mother Wolf is a place that has been on my list of places to try and I am so happy that I finally did! The restaurant is beautiful and there was a very cool atmosphere! Our server was fantastic and attentive during our experience. We also did not wait a long time to receive our drinks and food aside from it being quite busy! I really enjoyed the suggestion of sharing the food options so we were able to try different things from the menu! Our table shared the focaccia bread called "Sfincione in Bianco" and it was delicious and we also shared one of their pizzas Diavola, which had a little bit of spice to it but overall amazing! We also shared two pasta dishes: Linguine al Limon (lemon pasta) Rigatoni all' Amatriciana I really enjoyed their lemon pasta but their Rigatoni was also delicious! It reminded me of a spicy rigatoni (minus the vodka sauce) Overall I really enjoyed my dining experience at Mother Wolf and I would definitely recommend this spot for a nice date night or family dinner!

service: The service here was extremely slow on a Friday night. Perhaps my friend and I looked too young (AKA looked like we didn't need servicing). No one came by to check in how the food was. When we accidentally received the wrong item, it took multiple attempts at flagging down a waiter and almost 10 minutes before someone came by. Ambiance: It was extremely loud in here and I found myself shouting for most of the conversation. At least since it's so loud, you can't really eavesdrop on neighborhood conversations. Dark and perfect spot to dress up, snap some pics. Good for dates, girl dinner, or celebrations. Food: The food... the food is good. I'm not mad about anything I ate except the pizza labeled as a focaccia (the focaccia romana). There just wasn't any carb dishes that wowed me. We also got the daviola (pepperoni pizza) and gnocchi de ricotta. The octopus salad was my favorite. More octopus than I expected, fresh, and a herby.

I've been dying to come to Mother Wolf, and it's been at the top of my list since I first heard about it. The vibes, the décor, and the overall ambience did not disappoint..everything felt warm, stylish, and inviting. On top of that, the service was absolutely top notch. To start, I had the Bacio di Lavanda drink which was Grey Goose vodka, Tanqueray gin, and lavender which was beautifully balanced and refreshing. My boyfriend went with an Old Fashioned, and he loved it just as much. For appetizers, we tried the Battuta di Manzo which was hand-cut filet mignon tartare with carciofi fritti, parmigiano reggiano, egg yolk, and lemon and the Burrata..both were outstanding. For mains, we ordered the Cacio e Pepe, which was rich and flavorful, though a touch heavy on the black pepper for my taste. I actually preferred the Boar Ragu, which was hearty and so satisfying. We ended the night with some dessert and went with the Tiramisu and Mango Sorbet. Mother Wolf completely lived up to the hype. Great atmosphere, incredible food, and excellent service I can't wait to come back and try the pizza next !

We got to the bar and I spoke with the bouncer and he said to go to the bartenders, that they would direct me to Rensel the bar manager. He was absolutely lovely, provided my friends and I a round of cocktails and told us to look for Sophia for another round. When I told her we didn't want a table outside it seemed to bother her and her response: we are really full I won't promise you anything (eye roll) and she proceeds to walk back through the aisle of empty tables to the front desk. Behind us was a couple who arrived AFTER we did. And can you believe they were escorted without an issue to the upstairs INSIDE SEATING dining area - to the very tables they apparently did not have for us!!! I have to wonder if this was profiling or she just didn't like our face? Guess not all guest are created equal here. Forced to seat us inside after my husband showed her the reservation for INSIDE seating she "accommodates" us downstairs next to the bathrooms in a tight miniature table on uncomfortable plastic wicker chairs between two large groups where we couldn't get out of our seat and had the view of a water damaged ceiling over our heads. After what seemed like quite a while the waiter (poor guy) came to greet us. Now this was the only highlight of this erroneous Michelin Star establishment. He seemed overworked with all the tables in that area but was polite attentive and funny. So pleasant that I wonder why he's working in this place. I had to ask for the bread that never came on its own. The drinks were ok. The food: Lobster - the pastry was soggy on the bottom and tasted slightly burnt on the outer crispy corners. The lobster was well cooked and the sauce was good but nothing spectacular. Hanger steak - the steak was very good - cooked exactly as ordered (medium rare). The sweet potato cakes crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the mushroom were cooked to perfection. Wish there was more of it, you get 2 sweet potato cakes the size of a strip of gum and 3 mushrooms slices. The halibut - hands down the most delicious thing on the menu. The fish was fresh and the caviar sauce was really exceptional - wish I had a spoon. Chocolate caramel - The dessert was a mix of flavor the chocolate has a tangy taste, the ice cream on the bottom was a nice surprise, however it left much to be desired - we left half on the plate. All in all the front of the house sets the tone and the horrid attitude of the hostess and the way she refused to sit us upstairs in our reserved requested dining area, soured our experience from the start. My understanding is that a Michelin Star is a highly sought status that entails the full experience of a dining establishment and I'm sorry to say they should rethink giving Le Jardinier this award in the future. Don't come here.

The speakeasy atmosphere is outstanding--walking through the iconic red phone booth feels like stepping into another era, only with much better bourbon. Victoria was an absolute rockstar. She took some fantastic photos of our group (which is no small feat after a couple of perfectly made Manhattans), anticipated everything we needed, and somehow managed to make us feel like regulars on our first visit. Speaking of Manhattans... they're exactly the way we like them: balanced, boozy, and dangerously easy to order "just one more." Pair that with a great cigar, comfortable seating, and an atmosphere that somehow feels both upscale and relaxed, and you've got one of the best spots in Miami to unwind. We came for a drink. We stayed for the cigars. We left wondering if we should install a red phone booth at home. We'll definitely be back--and hopefully Victoria will still be there to remind us that "one more Manhattan" is always a questionable life decision.

I love a cool speakeasy thats suktry and sexy. Place definitely has grown vibes…read more You can go through the black door or do the coolest thing and go thru the actual red Phone booth (choose this option and have your phone ready) The place is flowing with cocktail ambiance. The bartenders here are artist. The menu appears like a vintage book with history about each drink. But listen honey when I tell you these cocktails are Amaze! Just try anything or ask.to be surprised. Remy was our server and he is freaking awesome and has skills. He helped us choose our cocktails cause everything was sounding like a vibe. The food options sound delish and the sliders and pizza seemed to be a hit as we saw that mostly. We were here for drinks though and we stuck to it. Only down fall for us is that we aren't cigar smokers, so the room was filled with it as we didn't know its a cigar lounge as well, but to each his own. Come drink eat and ber merry!
