Wrapped up our trip to the Miami open here for brunch. This place is gorgeous, right off the water--views of yachts passing by. We checked in and waited at the bar until our table was ready. Nicos was our bartender! Nicos made us the most tasty, beauty beverages. He had the cliff diver, later the solara, and I went for the Slene's dreams. The craftsmanship was so cool to watch, bravo. Once our table was ready we headed up to the second floor. Pavlina was our waitress. She was kind, bubbly and recommended some of our favorite dishes. Her and her team were very attentive and professional. To start, we had the Zucchini & Eggplant Chips, Tonno Tartare, and Paella Maki. The zucchini and eggplant chips were fried in a delicious tempura batter served with a delicious tzatziki dip. I'm not a tartare girly at all, but today I conquered my fears and it was worth every single bite. The tartare had a smoky bite to it and the chips served with it were the perfect compliment. The maki was a pleasant surprise being that we didn't realize it wasn't made with sushi grade rice but instead paella rice. But wow! Every bite was delicious, I was a big fan and we finished it all. For the main event, we shared the lobster pasta. Idk if they make the pasta in house but it was perfect! I absolutely loved the rich, creamy bisque emulsion. The lobster was also, chefs kiss. We finished our experience with the French toast for dessert. It had crispy edges and a warm fluffy center, almost custard like. It was incredible! I would've preferred candied walnut or a different nut. Nonetheless, each bite with a slither of ice cream is a party. Very pleased! The entire dining and beverage experience was 1000/10. I would've given this experience a 5 star but on our way out we stopped past the outdoor bar for a look. Shortly upon entering we were approached and told to get a wrist band and there was mention of a private party. But a glance around the space, including others walking in and out, and a look at everyone else's wrists told another story--they weren't wearing any wrist bands. Sure, we were the only black couple present and maybe we'd been left alone if we had some white or non-black folks with us. I guess this is Miami, right? While it's never been my experience they say what's a trip without a little racist, anti-black treatment. That odd happening aside, this restaurant group did a wonderful job. Sunday night Easter dinner with the family was pretty good. We were seated quickly when we arrived for our reservation and our server was friendly and efficient. We sat right next to the kitchen and watched the brilliant cooks do amazing things. The ambiance was nice and everyone that was there looked amazing. Incredible experience. Not sure how the food and vibes were both unbeatable but Casa Neon did it. We snagged a 3pm reservation on a Sunday for brunch and were reminded 3 times to dress nice. So if you don't look good, I can't say they didn't warn you! Although the restaurant wasn't totally packed when we arrived, we still had to wait almost an hour for our table, oddly enough. This was one of the very rare occasions where we didn't mind because we were enjoying the bar scene. Everyone was friendly and we were having a great time. We got sat at a really nice corner table and I would say it was worth the wait. I believe I started with the cliff diver for a drink and it was excellently crafted. For food we got the oysters and wow the watermelon mignonette so balanced, perfect on an oyster. Highly highly recommend The salmon burger then came out, also excellent. Well seasoned, good sauce on it, and felt hearty but not heavy. I have to talk about the fries separately!!!!!!! They were seasoned Mediterranean style like how my GRANDMA used to season them.. I never knew someone out there knew how to season fries like that :') There was cumin, red pepper, and other things in there and they were perfection. The hanger steak and the rigatoni pasta then came out together. Steak was seasoned well and cooked to our liking, and the pasta was plentiful. The sauce had us coming back for more and more. The service was impeccable, and even the dinnerware was so unique. I noticed small gestures like the staff making sure the logo on the dish sits right in front of you, made us feel special. For our appetizer, we had the fried calamari with prawns and lemon, which was flavorful and really well done, along with the crispy potatoes, which was simple but delicious. The lobster pasta and the truffle pasta will live rent free in my mind forever. The interior has very cute, Tulum-Boho-esque seating but there is also a covered huge outdoor space with white linens and a DJ. Next time I will choose to sit outdoors. It was very busy and at one point, only standing room at the bar, so to be safe, make reservations. The serve a complimentary focaccia bread and it was soft, flavorful, and had a nice oil dipping sauce which took it to another level. You can eat the bread by itself and it would still be delicious. I had to stop myself from eating the whole serving lol. To start, we ordered the black truffle arancini which is a MUST, the Greek salad which has a layer of feta, olives, tomato, cucumber, onions and this red wine-esque vinaigrette and I am currently salivating over this as I type. I started with the Cliff Diver cocktail and while it is a pretty presentation, it was mid. Our mid course was a seafood tower with snapper, lobster, oysters, shrimp, tuna and scallops, and everything was freshly made to perfection. For my main course, I got the salmon but ended up taking the rest home because I was full. The ambiance is beautiful and you feel like you're in another country. Depending on your view, you can see all the boats cruising the Miami River and the inner skyline of our beautiful city. Last year we rent a boat that started on the Miami River and was impressed how much that area has grown. Before the end of the boat ride I noticed this cool multi floor establishment and it was popping with cool lounge music. So after massive research I found it was called Casa Neos. I made reservations for belated Valentines dinner and requested one of the tables on the terraces in the second level. The hostesses was one of friendless I have seen in these type of restaurants and she gave us the most romantic table facing the Miami River. Our waiter Mathieu was super knowledgeable and extremely friendly he truly made us feel like home. As I mentioned he really studied the menu and gave us some solid recommendations. To start we ordered two maki rolls the paella and spicy yellowfin tuna. The paella roll was very unique it was made with saffron rice and stuffed with shrimp and Iberico Chorizo very tasty. The spicy yellowfin tuna was very fresh and contain a spicy aioli cream which gave it a good kick. Then we ordered their fried seafood platter which contained large chunks of calamari and prawn that were flash fried which helped enhances the flavors. For the main entree we ordered their Wagyu Beef Skirt Steak sliced served with crispy potatoes. The steak was delicious and very tender and the potatoes had a crunchy texture and very tasty too. After some debate about what dessert to order we decided to go with the chocolate molten and side of Calisson flavor ice cream. This was of best molten cake ever and the Calisson ice cream made from almond and orange zest and gave the perfect contrast. I recently visited Casa Neos and was warmly greeted by Nina. She was incredibly kind and took the time to make sure our seating was exactly to our liking. She welcomed us with a smile and her pleasant attitude truly made our experience worthwhile. I genuinely appreciate her effort and attention to detail. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food was excellent--slightly pricey, but definitely good. We went during Art Basel week, so it was very busy and a bit hectic, but still enjoyable. We would absolutely return, especially to try the lunch menu. read more

My first visit to Casa Neos. To start off on a positive note, late on a Thursday night at 10pm during swim week most restaurants were closed so my party of 3 was grateful to be able to dine somewhere impromptu. For this reason, we kept our complaints to ourselves. However, I consider this dinner to be average with above average prices, most of the dishes we disliked entirely. Dairy allergy accommodations were also a bit of a struggle but Derek did his best with our table and provided fun and enjoyable service. We started with the Mezze ($27) with hummus, baba ghanoush, muhammara and crudités. When the hummus was bad I knew we were in trouble. All 3 were tiny portions, overly salty, paired with even saltier pita chips. Burrata di puglia ($28) was enjoyed, along with our Aperol spritz's. My fave dish of the night was the A5 wagyu aburi maki roll ($45) but hefty price tag. Crispy wagyu beef tartare ($24) was disappointing I expected a version of beef tartare but it's like a spin off of crispy rice using potatoes. Before entrees with a bit of an intermission I had to get the attention of staff to have the table cleaned and request fresh plates. Entrees were 8oz Wagyu Beef Skirt Steak ($75) and Herb Marinated 12oz Wagyu Ribeye ($125). I preferred the skirt steak...both were just "okay" at this point we're under the impression the kitchen had given up lol. We added sides of crisp patatas ($16) and charred broccolini ($16). Anything with potatoes here was really underwhelming. Desserts we chose: Chocolate Lava Cake ($19) with Calisson Ice Cream and the Baklava ($17) with Pistachio Ice Cream. Both of these were winners and presented beautifully. All in all my opinion of this restaurant is that it's more of an ambience Miami hot spot with views on the water and vibey afro house music. I was shocked to find out they're related to Mila as their sister restaurant is known for exceptional vibes AND dinner. Casa Neos was not a culinary win for me :'( read more

Loved our experience at Casa Neos. I ordered the burger, which was incredibly delicious, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. I also had a Paloma, super refreshing with that classic, well-balanced Paloma flavor. The view is amazing, with boats passing by constantly, which really adds to the vibe. Our server was great, very knowledgeable about the menu and gave solid recommendations. We went right when they opened, so it wasn't crowded, and we had a reservation, which made seating quick and easy. Would definitely go back. read more
