I stopped by Tipsy Flamingo and had such a fun night. The vibe is super Miami: colorful, tropical, and lively with great music & energy. It's perfect for hanging out with friends or starting/ending a night. The drinks were really well made and you can tell the bartenders know what they're doing. Everything was balanced, flavorful, and fun. We had the My English Is Not Very Good Looking which was like a yummy dessert, and the Elegant AF which was delish. Very cool bar! I enjoyed a visit here when I was in the area. We came in, sat down, and were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who provided menus and waters. Drinks here are delicious and service was excellent. The tipsy flamingo was one of a few cocktails on happy hour special and it was tasty with a nice mix of sweetness and strongness (similar to me on an average Friday night). Other cocktails were also enjoyable. This place has a chill vibe with lots of neon lights. It was pretty dark inside and most of the light comies from the glow of the pink neon/argon glass tubes. When I visited, there were a bunch of guys sitting outside the smoke shop next door. Be aware of this if you are prone to getting harassed by random dudes. Not a problem for me because I'm used to dealing with dangerous Hawaii Kai gang members when visiting rough Kakaako pubs. Bwahahaha! There were a couple of sketchy people in the area that approached us with panhandling requests as we left the neighborhood heading back to our hotel in Downtown. We came in on a Sunday during happy hour to a relatively empty bar and ordered two drinks: one off the regular menu (Beach Bonfire) and one off a special Sunday menu (Saoco Sundays/Fino y Elegante). The bar is nice and has fun decorations and lighting but the drinks were unfortunately lackluster. Both drinks tasted like fruit juice and we even doubted whether there was any alcohol in either of our drinks. I must confess, I'm the hugest sucker for a nice hand crafted cocktail. And Tipsy Flamingo delivered just that! Me and my friend came for the RnB night. At first we were a little skeptical about if they were playing RnB or a Miami mix version of RnB but as the night progressed they did start playing all the RnB hits (woohoo). Now, heads up this is a cocktail bar that exclusively serves cocktails. I did hear that they allow you to bring outside food though (didn't get to verify with staff to make sure). They also had a pretty nice happy hour deal going. Our server/bartender was super efficient and suggestive (loved her). We had the Tipsy Flamingo (pictured) to start things off and I mean this when I say that was the best decision and easily makes top five best cocktails I've ever had wow. Hand crafted to perfectionnnn. I actually left a little sad because I didn't get to try every drink I intended to on the menu. It's also super cute on the inside! Came to this bar for a mixer and had been wanting to come here for a while, it's in a lively spot downtown near the Jewelry district, and parking can be a bit difficult unless you want to pay lots for a garage. Eventually we found a street spot and just had to walk a few blocks to get to the bar. When you come in, it's one room, they have a nice decorated wall with a big neon sign and good music playing, a little too loud to be great for meeting new people but It was what I expected from a bar though. The bathrooms are all gender, and being that there are only two individual bathrooms the line can get a bit long. Still, I had a nice time, all I drank, was a high noon seltzer, so I can't speak to the quality of the cocktails, but we didn't have to wait long to get our drink despite there being a full bar. Tipsy Flamingo is a cozy spot in the lobby of an older Downtown office building and a great spot to start, end or why not make it a night. Most recently, I came with a group of friends for an Afterparty from a nearby brewery. The DJ was jamming a lot of classic hiphop, some salsa and reggaeton. I believe they also host comedy nights. It's a cozy space with a few banquettes on one wall opposite the bar and a dance floor with an awesome sound system. So get on the floor and dance! Oh you want a drink? There's plenty of those to be had too! I personally stick to their rum cocktails, usually their Mangucito. Served in what looks like a colada tin, this is a great blend of Brugal 1888, plantain purée and Banana Liqueur. The cup is placed on a charcuterie board and a serving of sausage. I passed on the meat and preferred to let the sweet mixture marinade my taste buds. This sweet cocktail does pack a strong buzz, that's for sure! Not far from the downtown wine shop, this is a fun late night spot, live DJ spinning all sort of genres, it was packed mainly due to its small size with creative flamingo decor everywhere (including a Mona Lisa portrait holding a pink flamingo) and of course the drinks! The drink menu had catchy names and, more importantly, didn't really have to fight for bartenders attention. They managed everyone well and I liked that. Came here for Happy Hour! 5-9pm daily I absolutely loved the decor and vibes! There aren't too many seats but when I came on a weekday there were still open spots at the bar. I ordered their classic Tipsy Flamingo cocktail ($9); it was in the cutest flamingo mason jar and had pink grapefruit, lemon and rose flavors! Place draws you in because of the vibe and the pictures that are attractive. They do offer happy hour from 5-9pm which it's cool. Most places end it by 7pm. Drinks were delicious! The ambience was great with a variety of music, chill laid back spot to come with friends or a couple. The only downside was the area didn't seem well taken care of but that's out of their control. This bar is loud. Really loud. As I type this up, my ears ring in memory of the blaring music while looking about the crowded bar and the cheesy slideshow of flamingos above the bartenders. Aside from the tinnitus-inducing ambiance, this bar is themed down to its core and is rife with a good kind of kitsch that you can hope from any popping bar in downtown. The Tipsy Colada comes in a moka pot that you pour for yourself over time and I love that gimmick wholeheartedly and would recommend it for that alone. The Pablo Escobar Flock Shot is also worth the gimmick alone, which in its case is a riff on cocaine trafficking and comes with a tiny bag of salt that is a lot more than necessary for a single shot of Patron. Does that take away from it? No, it makes it a dumber joke in the best way possible. While my party did not have the ear-patience to get many more drinks from Tipsy Flamingo, the bar did leave an impact in that its theme was met with humor and entertainment and that's truly what'll make you remember it after the visit. read more

This is hands down the best discovery for mixologist-crafted cocktails in Miami. The bartenders make such delicious concoctions I wouldn't be surprised they make a world's best list.
