Cool spot and definitely a happening spot but they were not prepared for the crowd that took over the bar for the game (kinda strange). The servers did the best they could but the wait for basic items like a pretzel was 45 minutes to an hour (y yo no se porque). That's wild! I ordered a salad and a ginger beer and that arrived within 30 minutes. A little late but a must post.....I wish I would have had more time to explore this place and their cocktails. A local bar with so much character and charm it's a whole vibe. We came across the Lost Boy Dry Goods while checking out the Vintage Flea Market just steps away from the entrance on a very warm Miami Sunday Afternoon. Probably my favorite bar downtown. The music and vibe are always right, and it's just laid-back, something that can be hard to find. Lost Boy is a Downtown staple whether you are going for a happy hour drink after work, before a Heat game or late night. I was able to find a table at around 7pm on a Friday to grab a quick drink and bite to eat before a movie. The food menu has gotten a bit smaller, but the wings are delicious and the pizza is hearty. The drinks are always perfect and the staff are always fun. Highly recommend Lost Boy for any occasion. read more

We were only in Miami for two nights but this place quickly became our favorite bar! They call themselves a dive bar but it is more of an eclectic place with interesting decor. There is everything from a painting of Elvis to cowboy boots to Premier League scarves represented here! And I loved the mermaids along the bar! We sat at the bar for Happy Hour our first time here when drinks are 1/2 priced. My husband had a local draft and I had their "Spicy Siesta" cocktail (corazon reposado tequila, campari, lime, agave, firewater bitters, spicy salt rim). So good! The second time here, we had the same drinks but also ordered food. I had a Chopper Salad and my husband had a Chicago Dog. We were pretty happy with everything! Above all, the bartenders were outstanding! So kind! They gave us lots of recommendations for places to try while in town! And we ended up going to many of the places they fold us about. Lost Boy is my brother's favorite bar - so it's crazy how long it took me to go try it out. The vibes are super cool in here and Lost Boy has some super sick period pieces as decoration and super comfy couches. There is a pool table right when you walk in so you know the bar is good. The bartenders are super friendly and recommended drinks based on some flavor profiles I like. The espresso martini here is great but I got an earl grey gin drink that was phenomenal. It had some great sweetness, yet bitters to cut through it. Cool ambiance with board games, an array of comfy couch seating plus bar stools and high tops, as well as traditional tables. Inside it was so dark that my friend and I ended up being one of those old folks who pull out their camera's flashlights to read the menu. We are those people now! The drinks we ordered from Cassandra were a Spicy Siesta (tequila drink) and a Cherry Blossom (a sweet vodka drink). They were tasty, fresh, well made, and quickly served. Mine had Tajin on it but it wasn't Tajin, which is a brand not a generic name for chili salt. What was on there was the sorriest chili salt I've ever had (no flavor and almost a powder instead of tiny salt kernels). We played darts, which was fun. The bathrooms were covered with graffiti--maybe one person started it as a prank and then it just kept going on and on until the mirror to see yourself in is just another piece of graffiti over graffiti. read more

I remember driving through the downtown area later at night about a dozen years ago and remarking how dead and lifeless it was after most businesses had closed for the day. I felt bad for people who were living there because, while they were a relatively short drive or metro mover ride away from some decent restaurants and nightlife, there was really nothing available to them in this immediate area. That's changed in more recent years with about 1/2 dozen bars and eateries downtown that are open until late and on weekends, and Lost Boy Dry Goods is one of the better ones. This bar has a smaller but adequate food menu and at times features visiting pop-ups that provide eats, It looks like a brick-walled pub inside with an exposed wooden ceiling, a long bar that has several screens for watching sports and other programming, several tables for seating customers and a few comfy couches and chairs, a faux fireplace, a pool table, dart boards and an eclectic mix of "stuff" that one may have seen in your grandparents' house - old console radio and TVs, a manual typewriter, telephones, old-style lanterns, books and the like. In all, the mood here is fun and lively, the music is good and they sometimes have a DJ, but it isn't so loud you can't carry on a conversation with those around you. The cocktail menu is solid, they offer a basic wine list and have several beers on tap or in cans. Best of all, for night owls or those in the restaurant and bar business who want a spot to visit after work, this place is open until 3 a.m. most every night, though they do somewhat unfortunately stop serving food at 11. read more

I never write reviews, but this was a first for me. I ordered an espresso martini at the bar, which is on their menu. The bartender then told me that he would make me something different instead. When I politely asked to keep my original order, he raised his voice and said he "refuses to make espresso martinis" because "they are disgusting drinks." He did not ask if I wanted anything other than his recommendation. I have never been yelled at by a bartender for ordering a drink... on the menu. It's a shame, because I would've gotten something else if the bartender was nicer. Now I won't be returning. read more

I would not call myself a regular but I do visit Lost Boy often and I consider it one of the best bars in town. They are always consistent with their cocktails and always helpful with making recommendations. I do have to give big props to Phil. He really is a top-notch cocktail connoisseur and has amazing skill when creating concoctions. If you visit and Phil is behind the bar, know that you are getting the best of the best and you and consider yourself lucky. read more

But all their cocktails are 1/2 price at happy hour, so of course this place should be packed. Their cocktails are fantastic! They've got some pretty good nibbles, too. The bar is very chill. It feels like you're hanging out in some cool, old dude's den. Service is usually pretty good, too, even though they're usually very busy. Lost Boy represents the proper pub in Miami! Solid downtown libation establishment with nice wooden bar, comfy seats, pool table, games and cozy sofas to catch up with friends. Great bartenders whipping up on and off menu gems. As a single gale I also enjoy the sausage fest that is the regular crowd. By far the best artichoke dip in Miami (the world?!). It is somehow part Mac and cheese and part artichoke dip. Definitely give it a shot. A great refuge to watch games and opens early! Check it out! read more

Not many spots draw my attention when it comes to downtown Miami. I come to downtown to visit friends or.... To come to Lost Boy. This bar is very different from normal Miami bars. It was a denim shop back in like 2014ish that was later converted into what Lost Boy is today, but they kept most of the shop used to be intact. You walk in and it no longer feels like Miami. It feels like you walked into a local bar somewhere in Breckenridge where everyone is trying to warm up from the cold outside. Except there is no cold in Miami and everyone is just trying to drink lol. What I mean is that this spot has a very rustic feel to it, with dark wood, old school couches, along with a free pool table and dart boards to complete the look. The cocktails are immaculate and the food is equal to that. The standouts: ~MANGO SMOKED DAISY Amaras verde mezcal, mango, poblano chili, gentian amaro, lime and agave. *Chefs kiss!* ~Sloppy Dog It's a hotdog with picadillo and beer cheese on top. It's simple but so amazing! ~Artichoke Arugula Dip Swiss, provolone, parmesan, ciabatta crostini and a little bit of spice for some kick... you gotta try it! With a live DJ after 9pm.... Ish.... The party really starts around then so this isn't the typical spot to come and have a candid conversation. You're coming here for a good time and to enjoy what this venue has to offer! They do have TVs as well for those sports enthusiasts that can't disconnect from it for a night. Just know that most of the time, the TVs do remain off unless you ask them to turn it on or there's some type of playoffs or championship going on. I do wish the service was a bit better but I can't blame them for this. This place gets D'd up fairly quickly and the cocktails they make there aren't just sitting in a bottle premade and ready to go. It's fresh. Being in the weeds while everyone's at the bar trying to grab a cocktail at the same time has to be rough. Either way, if you happen to be downtown and have no clue where to go, go ahead and give them a try. read more

As soon as I heard there was a CBD Martini, I ventured to Downtown for a quick lunch to treat myself to such. It's got a vintage aesthetic to its interior boasting soccer banners and lined with wooden facades. Certainly, this is the coolest bar in all of Downtown. Happy hour is obviously the best hour so why limit it to one? On weekdays from 5-8pm they serve discounted cocktails and extend their specials to beer and wine. There's also tons of refined game boards and darts to pass time. It's a hipster bar done tastefully. I had the Pistachio Sout to start off with and loved the robust earthiness in every sip. The watermelon highball was refreshing and aromatic using fresh ingredients for a sensory drinking experience. I enjoyed nuts and olives to accompany my drinks as well for the perfect balance. The plush leather seating around the bar allow you to truly wind down and enjoy your time. Lost Boy? More like Lost Gentleman if you ask me. read more

On Flagler Street just West of 2nd Ave is Lost Boy a former high-end/vintage clothing store. Now is one of the newest bars in downtown Miami. Lost Boy is actually a part of historic and famed Alfred I Du Pont Building. It is a small but not tiny place with a very eclectic nea catholic interior. Above the bar and the six flat screen TVs there Cow Boy Boots and an Armordillo lining the wall. On the opposite wall there are antlers along with portraits of Thomas Jefferson (TJ to his friends) and Ulysses S Grant (Ol' Hickory to his friends). In addition the place has a Baby Grand (sort of) sitting in the middle of the room. Lost Boy has that Southern Speak Easy vibe that you find in old towns like Washington D.C., Key West, New Orleans and Mobile. It's filled with eclectic furniture and high tops and pub tables. Oh, yeah there's a large American Flag on the West wall. It's the kind of place where you would expect to find a picture of Bella Star and Mary Surratt showing their ankles hanging in the restroom. It is a bar and at times it could be a very noisy bar. Its' clientele is pretty diverse, Boomers, Gen X and Y ers, and Millennials. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff does a good job at keeping up with the crowds! Stop in and you may find an engagement party going on while another group is having a (insert generic workplace celebration). Check out the food menu it's small but good. read more

Found this place randomly and decided to come in for drinks. It's a pretty cool place! It's decorated with all vintage items and had a old western feel. It smelled like a thrift store, but after sitting in there for a while you get used to it. They have games and food. The pineapple daiquiri was very good!
