Fresh Kale Salad with Shrimp

Its a sports bar with food. The vibe is fine, although the velvet ropes outside for a late night line makes me wonder. I certainly wouldn't wait in line for this, but I would order it in a cute little food robot. The menu is fine, the service is fine... but all in all, it's average and not overly memorable.

First time coming to this location. Parking was easy to find at the Courtyard Marriott for $9 for 6 hours which is a super deal for the area. My friend ordered the sliders and sweet potato fries. Probably the best sweet potato fries I had ever had! I am literally salivating just thinking of them lol. I got the chicken quesadilla which was pretty good. Good amount of chicken in every bite. The bread on the sliders could be softer - I'm a sucker for soft rolls. Service was great. She came by many times refilling out water cups. Definitely worth going back if in the area.

Awesome place to watch a game - tons of TVs, including some huge ones! Love the drink and happy hour specials. We got $25 for 5 Modelo buckets. Loved the wing - Thai chili is very tasty. Not sure of this was just an unusual case, but while watching the national championship game, they stopped serving food at the bar after 7 and you needed $150/pp min to reserve a table. Didn't love that as much.

We tried this spot as a late night option. The sports bar was spacious and accommodating for our small group of four. I didn't want anything heavy so I ordered some mahi mahi bites with fries. The mahi mahi bites were good and satisfying. However, the fries could have some more seasoning. Overall for late night it hit the spot.

I stopped by Black Market this last Friday night with a group of friends while looking for a late night bite after an art opening /cocktail. Black Market is right on the corner of Miami Avenue so it's super convenient whether you're coming from Downtown or Brickell. It's a little more sophisticated than say Ale House or the "local legend sports bar of the collectible green soda cap" and the portions are tasty if a little smaller than those venues. I enjoyed their chicken sandwich & fries, especially with the added BBQ sauce,

Sports bar atmosphere! We ordered appetizers only. Each was good. The service was good, even though I felt like they wanted us to leave. As soon as we finished a dish, they were grabbing it off the table. Made us feel rushed. Not sure if they were doing this to all tables. Don't think I will visit again if I'm in the Miami area.

The service here was pretty swift. I went during the daytime so it wasn't super slammed. It was a good spot to chill at for some drinks. We didn't get food but I heard it was pretty good. There's an open area if you have a big group of people. So you won't be fighting for real estate. There's a pool table in the back along with a punch tester if you're feeling aggressive lol. Overall good neighborhood spot with some nice girls that worked there.

The nachos were cold, as evidenced by the unmelted cheese in my photo. I sent them back, only to have them arrive cold again. The burger was overcooked, and the ceviche lacked flavor. Despite these shortcomings, the prices were reasonable.

Steak quesadillas- red lighting in the restaurant lol

Close to courtyard Marriott - just a short walk. The drinks and Black Market lager was really good! The fried pickles were ok - a bit overcooked. The Philly cheese steak was really good! The steak quesadilla was really good as well. Staff were nice and served us promptly.

The music is a bit too loud. It's completely unnecessary. I couldn't hear our server or the people I was with.

Visited while we were in town and it was a pretty good local sports bar. Decent beers, good wings, and a respectable burger.

Everyone seemed to be playing. We arrived to late to join. The place was packed yet there were only two servers. Our server was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. However she managed to keep up with out party of 9. There were times we were waiting for assistance however we could see she wasn't just sitting on her ass. We order burgers, flat breads, tenders and steak tacos. Steak tacos were horrible Burgers were delicious Flatbread were good Tenders definitely looked like they were frozen tenders from the grocer. The beverages were nice not too strong but not weak. We were kinda profiled however as a black person you get use to it. My husband and brother stepped out for a smoke break..although everyone else was still seated at the table. We watched security run out after them. We laughed cause they looked stupid. When security ran out there they pretended to be looking at something when they noticed they guys were right outside the door. Irish pub we didn't expect any less. However it was kinds funny how the guy darted out after them then aimlessly looked around after he realized they were smoking a cigarette ‍

I realized that I had not actually been to this location since it was The Playwright (or whatever it was called) 4 or 5 years ago. The updated interior is nice - very "pubby" - and they offer a good variety of seating from bar seats to high-tops to couches. Two things here that were standouts: First, the burger is one of the best burgers I've had on South Beach. So much so that I'm craving it again this morning. They've done a good job with the menu in that it still has all those bar foods that you look for in a place like this, but they've put some thought into elevating a number of items (e.g. the short rib poutine!) Second, the service was great. Our server (sorry, can't remember his name - a nice guy from Kendall) was very friendly and provided excellent service. As many reviews mention, this is definitely a place to watch a game. While we weren't there for this purpose last night, the TV setup is great and I could def see myself camping out there with a few beers on a weekend afternoon. As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I'll be back again for sure.

Thursday night is Karaoke and the people in here can sing. You can tell this is a place the locals actually go to. I didn't try the food so I can't speak on that but the drinks were strong and the prices are good, you aren't going to be super overcharged like everywhere else. It's only a block off the beach as well! Tons of pool, video games, and two bars in two connected building. One side is a dance side the other side is a gaming fun side! The bar tenders were great and really took the time to make you feel welcomed! I will visit this place every time I come back to Miami!

We went to the bar to explain that the pool table was broken and they it was fine. When we closed out they charged us $20 for one game of pool. I have been to high-end clubs where it's less than that. This nasty bar charged us $20 to play one round of pool when the pool table next to us that unfortunately was occupied only paid equivalent of $3. That is robbery and discrimination & will not be coming back here ever again. I recommend staying away from this bar. Maybe it has to do with the fact that we were only gay people in there. Avoid it all costs, I love a loud bar scene, but I couldn't even hear my friend standing next to me. The energy was not good with the exception of the female Argentianian bartender who is quite kind, but whoever we closed out with was quite rude. 0 stars if I could. We want our money back.

We had reservation so we got seated really quick but wasn't too packed so either way would have been quick. Host was nice and waiter was great as well. Had the menu down packed and greet recommendations. We had the chili lime fried cheese, gnocchi Mac and cheese, hangover hash and short rib birria omelette. The fried cheese was good however nothing out side of the typical dish. The sauce though did elevate it. The gnocchi Mac is different for sure. Not traditional noodle/pasta so texture was more of like a potato. Overall not bad and the dorito dust was an interesting touch. The hangover hash is were it was at for sure. The blend on the burger is perfect and the egg great touch. The short rib omelette feel like the short rib was tough not as breakaway and soft as I've had elsewhere. Could have been sitting longer than needed but still good. The drinks they are bottomless so who's gonna complain. Overall could come try this place out and they have. The entire restaurant was spotlessly clean and the team was high energy. It looks like everyone enjoys working there. Mike, the manager on duty, was super accommodating and hospitable. Thank you to Heather and Mike for an awesome dining experience!
