This place is it . I have been coming here for about a year now and i've come to love it . they have amazing service, happy hour and "in the biz" specials are killer. They practically have deals every day. when you walk-in, you get that typical local vibe. I love how low-key it is yet a lot of people still know of it .Bob's your lager is my go-to beer. the margaritas are also killer. they are open late and it's a good spot to watch a game. Another reason for coming here is that they have an amazing food spot next door, which normally has a wait. usually you go sign up and kill time next door at Bob's. you'll easily see me here once a month having a couple drinks with my coworkers. definitely recommend this to anyone new in the area and/or if youre trying to ball on a budget. street parking is also pretty available. read more

What a great bar! I've driven by Bob's Your Uncle before but decided to stop in over the weekend and I absolutely loved it. It's is a huge bar with a dive bar feel/decor. Ample seating inside and outside. The bartenders were super attentive and kind. Really loved their customer service. The drinks were also great. I tried their draft Sunlab sour beer which was delicious and my partner tried the Buzzed mule (gin, lemon, mike's hot honey) which was so good as well. I loved their creative take on cocktails. They have plenty of games if you fancy to play and have a projector screen that was playing sports but I imagine plays an array of things throughout the day. We were vacationing in Surfside, FL and looking for a fun bar that was nearby. After a quick internet search, we discovered Bob's Your Uncle which was a quick 5 to 7 minute drive away. We were able to find a parking place with no trouble, and there was no parking fee. It is a fun, dive neighborhood bar. There is an outside seating area in the back as well as tables inside and seating at the bar. We found an inside table quickly, and the servers were friendly. There was a large assortment of board games, we played Rummikub, one of my favorites, and there was a juke box for music. It was a very enjoyable evening! I was a fan of the lemondrop martinis, and my husband ordered the Krac'd Mule. He thought it was interesting, but it was not my favorite. read more

I love Bob's. It's just what the neighborhood needs. The bartenders and owners are so friendly and welcoming. They have fantastic cocktails and a great draft beer selection, plus Jell-O shots! During the COVID-19 pandemic, they started utilizing their kitchen space, putting out delicious food of their own and hosting pop-ups. Bob's has become the local chill spot for us folks in North Beach & Normandy Village, but if you stop by when you're in the area, you'll feel right at home. My friend and I were walking around NMB trying to find something good to eat. We weren't really sure what we wanted but we just gave this place a shot and we both really loved it. He lives in that area so I am pretty sure it'll be his new watering hole. I also feel like the atmosphere was very open and inviting. They seem to also have a friendly queer environment. Its a very edgy but comfy little spot. I also loved the area in the back, that could probably use a little updating though. I also tried the mojito pork egg rolls which the charming and very kind Britney, the bartender recommended; I tried the Coco Viejo drink. My good friend ordered an Old Fashioned along with their house chicken tenders and fries. The food was delicious, great atmosphere, vibes were chill and just relaxing. This cute little bar in south beach has jenga, and other games to play. Very dim lights which I really loved in this bar. I even liked the celebrity pictures on the wall near the bathrooms. The noise was moderate but can still hear conversations. The bartenders were relaxed. I like that they also have outside seating as well to just chill. My friends and I decided to go while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. This place had more casual, hanging out ambiance, and even though our stay was short, we really enjoyed our time there. We only got drinks that day, and I ordered a Tito's Mule (aka a Moscow Mule), whereas my friends ordered a Bob's Daiquiri, and Roberto Caliente. I got a taste of each drink, and the daiquiri was my favorite honestly. It was a bit sour (which I love), and very tasty. The Roberto Caliente was also good too, but be careful! as the name says, it is spicy! My friend ended up getting another round of the daiquiri since we liked it so much. We had to cut our visit short since the table we were waiting for became available, but I wanted to stay to get more drinks. I will most likely go back and stay there for longer, also play some of the games that I saw around. The only thing I'd say that was not my favorite was that it was really cold, since there was a cold front in usually warm Miami, and the doors were left open, which made the place to get really cold. However, I would't hold it against them, as the weather is not what it normally is. I would say though, if you are visiting the place, make sure you're dressed appropriately to the weather outside, since the bar has the doors open. Furthermore, another thing that made my visit not-as-perfect was that it was really dark, making it difficult to read the menu and take pictures for this review, but it was night bar after all. I will certainly give it another chance and come back though! I'd recommend getting a few drinks if you are waiting for a table at any restaurant nearby. read more

I had completely forgotten that I came here until I took some photos from last month off of my phone! Why would I give it 5 stars then? The photos were great! Kidding... it jogged my memory of a terrific night out! One of my oldest friends was visiting from Texas, and after a few pitchers of margs at Taquiza, we strolled over to Bob's. The bartender was from NJ, where all three of us (my friend, Larry and moi) are originally from, so we had a looooong conversation with him about north versus south versus central Jersey. If I recall correctly, my friend picked up the tab (good lord, I hope SOMEONE picked up the tab!!) but I think the drinks were priced reasonably. The bar had a great vibe, the service was fantastic and it really felt like a neighborhood watering hole. No pretension, no gimmick, just a nice place to chill out and relax with friends. Although it takes an act of Congress to pry me off my couch, I'm interested in returning again next time the mood to go out strikes! read more

My wife, our dog and I moved to the area a year ago and have had countless awesome nights at Bob's since they reopened (post Covid restrictions). This place is the perfect neighborhood bar as well as an excellent place to hang out in general. The have a good selection of different craft brews, the bartenders are super cool and great at making drinks, and the food options are solid. What really makes this place special is the overall welcoming vibe and the fact that they are dog friendly. We've had quiet nights where we've enjoyed a drink or two and walk back home and we've had wilder nights where we take shots and get to know almost everyone else at the bar. The buildout and patio area make for a very pleasant and cozy place to drink and chat. As you can tell, I absolutely love this place and am so grateful we live so nearby. Freaking love this place! I live right across the street and love to just stop by when I need a little beer and some food! And let me tell you, their food always hits the spot especially for bar food!!! I used to come here ALL the time when they had Cheeseburger Baby as a pop up!; their wings were fireeeee!!! And now I stopped by because waiting an hour for Katana was not going to do it for me! I ordered from their new The Cheese Stands Alone menu and am pretty happy I came here! I ordered Shrimply the Best and I can definitely say they are good! It's not some cheap baby popcorn shrimp for sure! Will probably order more since their food doesn't seem to disappoint ever! They start to close an hour before the closing, they never asked if I want another drink, they never look at you bartenders and even the guy that looks like the manager or owner, is wrong in both sides, they are losing money. I'm not a bar guy at all and yet I really enjoyed this place! We had such a great time that a few weeks later we set up a little get together there. We called ahead of time and asked if they would let us get catered food delivered there and they said sure! We ended up getting a few wine bottles and a lot drinks, all of which were very reasonably priced and we had a great time again. What makes this place so great is that the music is pretty low, so you can have group conversation without having to shout. They also have a ton of games to play and the staff is awesome A++!
