Came to Bob's to kill time while a table opened up at Katana's. Their beers are cool -- black and tan for the win always! Place had a nice, friendly crowd..one dude saw me struggling w three drinks while navigating the masses and offered a hand! :) will definitely be back. A+ for being doggie friendly too!

While I was impressed by the Halloween decorations and good service, the nachos were a total miss!! They were ice cold, even down to the meat. We actually stopped eating them all together. I would return for the games and karaoke. It seems big enough inside to enjoy those. I also expected this local dive bar to have generous pours, but my wine was exactly 5 ounces.

What a great bar! I've driven by Bob's Your Uncle before but decided to stop in over the weekend and I absolutely loved it. It's is a huge bar with a dive bar feel/decor. Ample seating inside and outside. The bartenders were super attentive and kind. Really loved their customer service. The drinks were also great. I tried their draft Sunlab sour beer which was delicious and my partner tried the Buzzed mule (gin, lemon, mike's hot honey) which was so good as well. I loved their creative take on cocktails. They have plenty of games if you fancy to play and have a projector screen that was playing sports but I imagine plays an array of things throughout the day. Definitely has that great neighborhood bar feel. Will definitely be back soon!

We were vacationing in Surfside, FL and looking for a fun bar that was nearby. After a quick internet search, we discovered Bob's Your Uncle which was a quick 5 to 7 minute drive away. We were able to find a parking place with no trouble, and there was no parking fee. It is a fun, dive neighborhood bar. There is an outside seating area in the back as well as tables inside and seating at the bar. We found an inside table quickly, and the servers were friendly. There was a large assortment of board games, we played Rummikub, one of my favorites, and there was a juke box for music. It was a very enjoyable evening! I was a fan of the lemondrop martinis, and my husband ordered the Krac'd Mule. He thought it was interesting, but it was not my favorite.

I love Bob's. It's just what the neighborhood needs. The bartenders and owners are so friendly and welcoming. They have fantastic cocktails and a great draft beer selection, plus Jell-O shots! During the COVID-19 pandemic, they started utilizing their kitchen space, putting out delicious food of their own and hosting pop-ups. Bob's has become the local chill spot for us folks in North Beach & Normandy Village, but if you stop by when you're in the area, you'll feel right at home. PS: If you're ever in NYC's Upper West Side, check out their sister location in NYC. It's located one block south of my favorite Indian food place in the whole wide world (Doaba Deli) in the former spot of one of my old fav post-work drink spots, the Ding Dong Lounge.

This cute little bar in south beach has jenga, and other games to play. Very dim lights which I really loved in this bar. I even liked the celebrity pictures on the wall near the bathrooms. The noise was moderate but can still hear conversations. The bartenders were relaxed. I like that they also have outside seating as well to just chill. I ordered the pineapple express drink which I wanted to try. Which was pretty interesting. I had a decent time here. But definitely enjoyed the chill vibes that they had out here.

Four out of five only because I can't be the judge of their food menu since I didn't try anything to eat. However the bar service is exceptional and the vibe is very local which I always love. Somewhat of a hole in the wall with cool decor and games. Definitely a watering hole to head to with friends after work.

The bar.

We come here for that Katana wait, but the drinks are nice and the entertainment is good. Cute little backyard spot, too.

Run of the mill dive bar with an ancient projection TV. Not the best venue for watching the World Cup. Nice bar tender though.

The atmosphere is perfection -- beautiful surroundings, the most refreshing breeze, and gorgeous pool views. Add in five-star service and amazing food, and it's a must every time I'm in town.

The outdoor seating is…read moregenuinely beautiful--there's a relaxed, breezy atmosphere that feels very "Miami," especially if you're sitting poolside. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger over a drink as the sun goes down, and the ambiance is easily the highlight. That said, the food just didn't quite live up to the setting. Based on what you see reflected across reviews online, it's a bit hit-or-miss--and my experience leaned toward the middle. Nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either. Dishes were fine, just not memorable, and for a place with such a great vibe, you expect a little more than "mediocre at best." Service and overall experience were pleasant enough, but this feels more like a spot you'd enjoy casually rather than a destination dinner. If anything, it seems better suited for a laid-back poolside lunch or drinks rather than a full evening meal. Overall: come for the ambiance, stay for a cocktail--but maybe keep your expectations in check when it comes to the food.

It was raining so maybe if they just put a sand box in front. So imagine an old sports bar with old bar smells. It is wide open with a wrap-around bar, booths and a back room as well as a patio. All four walls are covered with TVs and there is a pool table and juke box. All the fixings for shenanigans. The bar service was great and there were 2 bartender one newer Lola I think and one more experienced. Both were very attentive. I spent most of my time in the backroom THE RED ROOM. It had a little bit of an odor like sewage, but it may have been because it was really raining hard and long outside and the building is definitely old. Finally, they have food and a good selection. I didn't order the food because the menus looked over used. Like a piece of printed paper that had seen way to many hands. Still, if I didn't have to go to the concert. Maybe next time if I find myself here again.

Their regular dinner menu comes back the day after the Super Bowl and we were allowed to order from that menu vs the football menu which doesn't have the typical entrees. I highly recommend this restaurant and bar. The owner/chef came out and spoke to us for a while and was very friendly and nice. We'll be back!!

They bill themselves as a sports bar, and maybe that is more the case if you sit inside. We opted to sit out on the sidewalk / patio in front. The inside appeared to be fairly large, so that might be better dining option overall. The 10 or 12 tables they have outside are okay - there is an awning to provide shade and when we visited it was in the evening so heat / sun wasn't a huge issue. However, it got pretty windy outside while we were there. Also, you are technically on the sidewalk, so pedestrians, cyclists, and electric scooter riders zip in between the two rows of tables. None of this was a huge issue, but if you want to have more control over your dining environment, inside might be a better choice. The menu provided quite a variety - sandwiches, a bit of pasta, fish, meat, salads, etc. I think any party would have a good chance of satisfying everyone. My wife opted for fish and I got a burger. We both enjoyed our food and had leftovers as well (which ended up being part of the next night's dinner). They also had a full bar; the drink pricing seemed pretty good given the standards of this area. If you are just looking for a standard (or slightly better) American bar food dinner, this is a solid choice.

Taquiza is nothing short of spectacular when it comes to their authentic blue corn tortillas. Coming from a hospitality family, Tyrese who was on his first day of training made sure our table and every guest interaction with tables around were satisfied and full. Asking about recommendations, he was able to explain the flavor palates provided with tacos and drinks. Though $5 a piece for tacos, seems a little steep this is like a reasonable Miami price considering others are about $8 for one in other places. We tried the crispy fish, al pastor, carnitas and Arrecha tacos. They were spectacular, and the guacamole with totopos thick crispy but fluffy blue corn chips. We even ordered a dozen blue corn tortillas to take home for $9. I think this is amazing price considering their authenticity. We even had their horchata and I loved it bringing me back to my childhood days. Give Taquiza a try, though some reviews here are not 5 star satisfied, I promise you won't be disappointed trying this place out at least one it twice whether you're a tourist or a regular. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day, which definitely made the experience better. That said, it's not beachfront, and there's construction going on right where the outdoor seating faces. Finding the restaurant was honestly a bit of a mission because we had to go around all of that. We did get seated right away, which was great. From what I could tell, there was only one server handling everything, so she was clearly busy and service was a bit slow. Food wise, it was really good. The carne asada tacos were flavorful and well done, and the guac stood out too. Their chips are house made and thicker than usual, which is different but still good. Overall, I'd come back. Good food, nice vibe, just be prepared for a slower service depending on how busy it is.
