This place is such a vibe and the drinks are good! You can play games here too with friends.

Came here w/a group of girlfriends to escape the crazy chaos of the Design District. I'm ashamed to say for being a local I have NEVER stepped foot inside The Sylvester (and I used to go to Prohibition - RIP - quite a bit down the block). I see so many other of my friends review this spot! I literally missed the mark! The whole place is a great laid back, chic, retro vibe wrapped up in a nice bow! I absolutely LOVE that their HH concept is called Rush Hour! And that's what it felt like when we realized we were approaching almost 7PM! I ordered the Gridlock & it was right up my alley! It was only missing my St. Germain top off. If you know me you know what I mean! Pricing is very on point considering some locations in the area and beyond. I am excited to come back here soon - which is probably in the next week since the book club I attend decided to host the next meet up here!

Vibes fantastic. Specialty drinks decent. A great cocktail bar that gives Miami vibes without the overwhelming club atmosphere

Would never guess how cute this place is by looking at it from the outside. When you walk in you're transported into a cool retro living room with a lot of little areas to lounge and a long bar. I came with a group of friends and we posted up at the bar. I was first to arrive and by myself and the girl who sat next to me told right away that she loved this bar and it was her fave. So already off to a great start before I even ordered anything. The bartender that greeted me was really nice and went ahead and let me know they were on happy hour and showed me the menu of cocktails. They had a good selection too on the HH menu. She also showed the special themed menu they had for 4th of July which included An open bar from 6-8, in honor of 4th of July. The names of the cocktails are all very Miami and funny. I had the Merge or Die which was like drinking summer in a glass. I really liked it. Our next bartender Robert was awesome and did a great job mixing the open bar drinks for us, if you're looking for great service he's the guy for sure. While we were there the DJ started up and he had great mix of 90s RNB, reggaeton, and classic bops. All in all, this is a great choice to enjoy some quality cocktails and a good vibe.

One of my favorite cocktail bars in Miami! I was there with a group of friends the day after Christmas and Hugo couldn't have been nicer. The cocktails were delicious, the ambience is always really fun, and the bartenders were beyond friendly and knowledgeable. Had a great time and really enjoy in the happy hour priced. Highly recommend!

We've been to this bar more times than I can count, and honestly, it's kind of a hit or miss. Some nights, it has been exactly what we were looking for. Others, we've walked in and thought, "Wait... what's going on?" At its best, this place strikes a great balance. The vibe is just right when the crowd is mid-sized, not packed wall to wall, but not awkwardly empty either. The energy feels natural, the drinks are on point (and well-priced for the quality), and the music leans into some solid EDM without trying too hard. I especially love when the DJ keeps the volume at a level where you can still talk, chill, and enjoy the moment without feeling like your ears are under attack. The mix of dance space and comfy seating (couches and big sofa chairs) makes it easy to shift between dancing and just relaxing with your drink. But, like I said, not every night hits. We've shown up to an almost-empty room where the temperature felt like a walk-in freezer. One night the music was all over the place; hip hop, reggaeton, random radio-style house. And it completely killed the vibe. The crowd was much younger that night and the whole place felt chaotic in a way that did not match what we usually come for. Honestly, if I could, I would give this place both a one star and a five star because it somehow manages to earn both depending on the night. Still, when it lands, it really delivers, and we keep going back hoping for one of the good ones.

Food? Not sure they have any. We only drink here. Service? Yes. We had a table and had table service and the team was very attentive. The bar gets busy after about 11, so you'll have to deal with a crowded bar, but they do their best. Ambiance? This is where they excel! We come back not for the $18 cocktails or crowds, but for the great dancing music and awesome deco. Sylvester has a very fun vibe. It's dark, but dimly lit with eclectic lamps. Fun stuff cover the walls. There's a pool table and pin ball machine. The couches are random but welcome. Overall great vibe and a place you must check out if in the area.

Sylvester is a great lounge to catch up with friends, warm, dimly lit, and full of character. The vibe strikes a perfect balance between classy and laid-back, with chandeliers, cozy seating, and a touch of retro charm. Will be back!

This bar is a Miami must great cocktails, service is quick and friendly

A true Miami locals spot, great music and service, the Mezcal selection is solid here !

Such a vibe, love the decor. We went on a Wednesday so it was very chill and lowkey and that's exactly what we were wanting. Highly recommend

Recommend going early to avoid sometimes "off" crowds & happy hour ! (5-8pm) and also some nights they have Jazz, call to find out when. Their cocktails are delicious. But I think whats most notable is the music, 80/90/00s throwbacks. If in Midtown or Design District, its totally walkable. One odd thing was that as it neared 8/9pm they took our bar stools away to make room for more people even though it was barely crowded. Totally not necessary

    Good vibes

One of the longest-standing spots in Miami nightlife. The venue was remodeled a few years back, and since then it has become a staple in the Wynwood and Midtown area. It has managed to keep its character while updating the space to feel more modern and intentional. There is a reason it continues to draw a crowd. The cocktails are consistently solid. They offer a good selection of craft drinks that are well made without being overly flashy. The bartenders know what they are doing, and the staff in general is friendly and keeps the energy easygoing. The music can vary depending on the night. Most of the time, you can expect a solid house set, which is always my preference, but some nights they mix in other styles. I have been there on nights with more of a radio mix, and others with a younger, high-energy crowd, but overall the music leans in the right direction. I have been coming here for years, and while every night has its own vibe, it is definitely a place worth checking out. Whether you are stopping in for a drink or looking for somewhere to stay and dance for a while, it is one of those spots that has earned its place in the scene.

The burger is honestly incredible -- one of the best I've had. I usually order it without the bun, and it's still amazing. The fries are excellent, and the patty has such a rich, delicious beef flavor. The medium cook was absolutely perfect. The olives are also delicious -- a small detail, but it shows the attention to quality. They also have happy hours 4-7pm and live jazz music on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, which makes the evening even better. Great crowd, great atmosphere, and a place where you genuinely want to come back. The appetizers were average, the main course was below average, and honestly, the only thing that stood out was the dessert, which was very good. The service was even worse. Our waiter disappeared multiple times, and at one point I had to fill my own wine glass because he was nowhere to be found. What made it worse was that the food runner was much more attentive than our actual waiter--he was polite, noticed our empty glasses, and actually filled them for us. For the prices and the reputation this restaurant has, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the food and service did not come close to meeting those expectations. I would not return, and I would not recommend it based on my experience.

Watching the bartenders in action was a performance in itself, and my kids were completely amazed. We only stopped in for drinks, and since we were with kids, we were seated at the tables rather than the bar, which was totally fine. Our server was Juan M., he was very nice and really made the dining experience a great one. We made it just in the knick of time to eat before the kitchen closed. I got lucky because I called before getting there and asked for a table for 4 and coincidentally there was one available. This restaurant/bar was very nice. The music was great the entire evening, the Dj was wonderful. The atmosphere was fun, while still being chill to have a sit down dinner. You really get the full dining experience, even at 11:30 pm! Every food dish was great; from the octopus to the Wagyu sliders. They did not disappoint what so ever. The octopus had a Peruvian twist on it and it really hit the spot with the crispy bed of potatoes! The sliders were extremely good, I honestly couldn't put the slider down from how good it was. My husband got the spicy pasta and he absolutely loved it, I can't recall the name right now and I honestly forgot to picture it. My friend enjoyed a sushi roll and she liked it. The cocktails were good too, I enjoyed an espresso martini. I started with their signature Mexpresso Martini but I didn't love it with tequila so Juan was kind enough to get it made with vodka instead. The second time around it was much better, very smooth and not too strong. If you are looking for a great spot to have a nice dinner and cocktails, this is probably one of the best spots in Wynwood to check out. It's upscale and honestly decently priced if you ask me. The vibes were just immaculate. Definitely a spot to have on your bucket list to check out.

We arrived on time for our reservation made for "INSIDE SEATING" (note you will have to pay to make a reservation.) The unfriendly hostess walked us to an outdoor table - that despite the multitude of fans - was humid and uncomfortable. When I told her we didn't want a table outside it seemed to bother her and her response: we are really full I won't promise you anything (eye roll) and she proceeds to walk back through the aisle of empty tables to the front desk. Behind us was a couple who arrived AFTER we did. And can you believe they were escorted without an issue to the upstairs INSIDE SEATING dining area - to the very tables they apparently did not have for us!!! I have to wonder if this was profiling or she just didn't like our face? Guess not all guest are created equal here. Forced to seat us inside after my husband showed her the reservation for INSIDE seating she "accommodates" us downstairs next to the bathrooms in a tight miniature table on uncomfortable plastic wicker chairs between two large groups where we couldn't get out of our seat and had the view of a water damaged ceiling over our heads. After what seemed like quite a while the waiter (poor guy) came to greet us. Now this was the only highlight of this erroneous Michelin Star establishment. He seemed overworked with all the tables in that area but was polite attentive and funny. So pleasant that I wonder why he's working in this place. I had to ask for the bread that never came on its own. The drinks were ok. The food: Lobster - the pastry was soggy on the bottom and tasted slightly burnt on the outer crispy corners. The lobster was well cooked and the sauce was good but nothing spectacular. Hanger steak - the steak was very good - cooked exactly as ordered (medium rare). The sweet potato cakes crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the mushroom were cooked to perfection. Wish there was more of it, you get 2 sweet potato cakes the size of a strip of gum and 3 mushrooms slices. The halibut - hands down the most delicious thing on the menu. The fish was fresh and the caviar sauce was really exceptional - wish I had a spoon. Chocolate caramel - The dessert was a mix of flavor the chocolate has a tangy taste, the ice cream on the bottom was a nice surprise, however it left much to be desired - we left half on the plate. All in all the front of the house sets the tone and the horrid attitude of the hostess and the way she refused to sit us upstairs in our reserved requested dining area, soured our experience from the start. My understanding is that a Michelin Star is a highly sought status that entails the full experience of a dining establishment and I'm sorry to say they should rethink giving Le Jardinier this award in the future. Don't come here.
