Awesome place for a get together with friends and a have a few drinks and maybe some bites. I had their version of an old fashion and it tasted great, adequately served with a single ice cube and a very Argentinian touch which included half of a mini alfajor; very unique and creative. Although we are in summer it didn't feel so hot because they had a couple of industrial fans around the place. We were kindly served by a gentleman that made some great suggestions and managed our big group with a lot of ease, so kudos to him! Definitely coming back, saw they had some board games so may try that next time.

Great hidden outdoor spot with plenty of shade. Very romantic setting after the sunset with amber lights and both live and recorded music depending on the night/time. Great cocktails and small appetizers. We sat directly at the small bar and had excellent service from Winston.

When I went they had pizza and tacos. A main bar with cocktails, a wine bar, and beer bar. I opted for the vodka passion fruit cocktail. It was pretty tasty, just had too much ice. It comes in a cute re-usable plastic cup. Staff was nice and helpful throughout the venue. There is seating scattered throughout Understory for food or just to relax. Definitely want to come back again soon!

Picture this - you walk into a tropical oasis and have the option of cocktails from Jaguar sun, wine selections from Bad Seed - a new wine bar pop up from Karina and the folks at Niu Wine -, rotating food from some of Miami's most loved chefs and last but not least - MUSIC! You'd think these folks just took your best friends magical back yard and created the most fun party in their house, but instead its at Understory and you can enjoy this oasis weekly on Thursday's and Fridays. I went for the first time last Thursday where I got to try a rum punch but with Mezcal that was delish. Then I moved on to a selection of delish wines and pizza by Flour and Weirdoughs. To say the vibe is impeccable is an understatement. I happily stayed until they closed at midnight, passing the time hanging out with friends and listening to the most fire playlist. They also have live jazz that starts at 9, which you can't really hear from the wine bar area since the space is so large, and DJs later in the evening as well as Friday. You can enjoy free entry before 8:30 pm. The best way to stay up to date on their weekly pop ups is to follow them on IG at @Understorymia. Can't wait to return!

A large group of us gathered here for dinner and late-night drinks on a Friday night. This is a fun, happening spot. It's ideal if you're looking for a casual, laid-back night out in Miami. The rooftop can handle a lot of people. My wife and I ordered food downstairs at Manjay, the Caribbean/Haitian stall at the food court, and took it up to the rooftop (there's an elevator). You are allowed to do this at the Citadel (take food from the food court up to the roof). Staff on the rooftop will bus trays and tableware. I recommend Manjay, by the way, and left a review for it separately here on Yelp. On the rooftop, I had a couple of martinis, one extra dirty. They were well made and delicious. Our friends had a variety of drinks including beer (e.g., Monopolio Mexican amber lager). Pint glasses were served iced over which is certainly nice in the South Florida heat. Service was good. The staff was nice. Several of the chairs had holes in the seats, so that was annoying. The vibe was lively and friendly. Good music.

The charcuterie plate is divine and so is their Calabrian chili oil. I truly find myself putting it on everything even if it lights my mouth on fire. Delicious. Their pizza's are divine as well. The zucchini pizza is so fun and different and the regular New York inspired slice is also great. Do not sleep on the foccacia - it's amazing. Service here is always friendly and there is a ton of wine to choose from. They also have a full bar with indoor and outdoor seating. You can buy wine here to enjoy at the restaurant or also pick it up to go. I also saw on Instagram they have happy hour and pizza specials so make sure to look it up before you go so you can snag a deal. The outdoor area is really spacious with plenty of seating for groups. It is right by a train so you will hear that go by, something to keep in mind if you have little ones. This is a solid neighborhood spot that I find myself coming back to over and over.

I've been visiting a lot recently, and even joined their wine club which offers two curated wines a month. Locally owned and operated, I feel really good supporting a place that the owners put so much effort into to offer such a gem of a spot for locals. I've tried a lot of wines here, and I'm always amazed at finding something new to me that I enjoy. If you haven't been, it's the perfect place for a date, a girls night, or a day for yourself. They also have good snacks and charcuterie for you to munch on while you drink vino. Don't know much about wine? No problem. Their team will point you in the right direction and they have something for everyone. This is an approachable wine bar- they want you to enjoy the wine as much as they do and I love that about Magie. This spot has a nice indoor space and a beautiful outdoor area. There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. Overall this place has a great vibe to it and I heard they host events every so often. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice space to chill with some friends and enjoy a nice spot in Miami.
