Best food hall in Miami! If you're ever in a situation where you want a little bit of everything at a fair price, this is the place to go! I have been coming here for years! My main go to's are: Borti Pasta Bar for their authentic and fresh pasta and sauce, my favorite is the Gorgonzola Gnocchi. Portions are large and everything is fresh made to order! Manjay has the best jerk chicken in Miami. Generous portions and the workers are very accommodating! Poke-San always has fresh and delicious poke and sushi variety Dona Posada has an amazing bakery selection! My hits that I have gotten several times are the guava and white chocolate chip cookies, all the brownie selections are amazing, and the Nutella cheesecake is to die for! I really wanted to love Citadel, but my overall experience left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side: the food was good, and the cleaning staff were extremely friendly, though clearly understaffed for the volume of people the place gets. That said, several things impacted my experience. It was very hot inside and packed with people, which makes it nearly impossible for the staff to provide good service. The exhaust/ventilation system doesn't seem sufficient for how busy the space gets, so you end up leaving with your hair and clothes smelling like food. The terrace looks lovely, but with Miami heat (easily 90°F), sitting outside isn't really a comfortable option. Lastly, most of the seating is uncomfortable, which doesn't help when the atmosphere is already overwhelming. Sorry, this is a place that I won't go back. read more

I've tried the burgers, pasta, pizza, ice cream, and this time I decided to try the lobster roll, which was delicious. One of my go-to favorites is the crab rolls, and I can never leave without grabbing cookies from Doña Posada. The concept is self-service, and the atmosphere is super relaxed and local, making it perfect for gatherings with friends or family. We wanted to go to the rooftop but it wasn't open at the time. There's a thrift store that a so nostalgic. The food variety is very good. There's space to work and eat. We went to get food from 3 places. Italian, Haitian and ramen. The doos was very good. If you're going to yhenhaitain place, expect a limited menu. They don't have many staples from traditional Haitian reautrants. I will return for a rooftop experience. The service was fairly quick. It was an adjustment for trash bins. I was pleasantly surprised with this location! They have an amazing variety of food to choose from and I gotta say it was hard to choose! Needless to say we will have to return to try some other options. Today we opted for USBS burgers and fries and they did not disappoint! Great tasting burgers and fries! The Citadel is a great little food hall located in the Little River neighborhood of Miami, north of Little Haiti. This is an ideal spot to meet up with people for food and drinks. There's plenty of space and they have a rooftop bar. We had a good time here. My wife and I had dinner from Manjay, the Caribbean/Haitian counter, on the first floor. We also had drinks at Bar Kaiju on the second floor (mezzanine level) and on the rooftop bar. You can take food from the first floor to the rooftop if you want. I recommend Manjay, Bar Kaiju, and the rooftop bar (called The Key). I liked the casual, laid-back vibe of the Citadel. Bar Kaiju has its own unique atmosphere. In 2025, it was ranked #77 on the "North America's 50 Best Bars" extended list. Free parking is located on-site in a large dedicated lot. read more

Perfect place if you want variety and are in the mood to try different items. Food was delicious but shout out Manjay! All their food was so good and packed with flavor, especially the jerk chicken. I love this place! There are so many options of food to choose from and they are all so different and delicious. We ordered from Maki-San & Pho Sho and the food at both places were made quickly and they were fresh. At Maki-San for the hand rolls and crispy rice the total was $35.96 after a $5.99 tip. At Pho Sho the total was $21.87 after a $3 tip. Pho Sho has a happy hour special until 7pm where you can purchase 1 crispy chicken Bao for $5. Coming on a Friday night is great, but you will have to pay for street parking or park in the lot directly behind the building. I recommend the street parking because it is cheaper, although the parking in the lot is secured by a gate. The music is also very loud so if you are looking for a more quiet atmosphere, I recommend coming during day time because they start playing music louder in the evening. read more

Came here for a friends birthday party to the rooftop bar. It was on the later end of the night so almost all of the vendors were closed minus the rooftop. As for the rooftop bar, I like the set up. It's all open air and really big and spacious. I will say the service was not the best but we were a large party so that's understandable. Drinks weren't anything to run home about, and didn't get to try any food so can't comment on that. This place is basically a multi level food hall with a rooftop bar. We decided to get together for happy hour for my gym. This food court is super close. So many options to choose from. We went to the rooftop bar where they have plenty of seating. It is shaded which is great! You can order from downstairs and they will bring it to you. I got the lychee martini. So good and refreshing. They added a 20% tip because of our table size. The Citadel is now one of my favorite food halls. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a spot like this. Low lighting, spacious seating, a giant screen playing sports, and great vibes all around. The first floor is full of different restaurants, and they have a rooftop bar for when you want to switch up the scenery. I even noticed they host activities like bingo on certain nights. Service was good at each place I tried and the food came out fast. The areas are kept clean which is crucial for a food hall. What I tried: Mini chimichanga from Gueritos Tex Mex was more of a cheesy eggroll. I wish it came with some sauce to dip in or a little extra something but it was pretty decent. Stuffed onigiri from Maki-San Sushi was good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but good taste. I'll probably branch out to a different item next time just to explore. !Honey jerk chicken bites from Manjay. This is a must try! If you like food with a nice kick and a whole lot of flavor, this is it. Plantain fries were unique and the chicken was just... wow! There are so many vendors I didn't get to try (yet), but I'll absolutely be back. The Citadel is a foodie's playground with good vibes. Cons: - It's Miami, of course you'll have to pay for parking but there are plenty of spaces. - Prices for the food is as expected, a bit on the pricey side for what you get but nothing too crazy. I've been hearing a lot of buzz about the Citadel & finally got to go on a Saturday between 1-4:30pm. They conveniently have a PaytoPark service on the same block...I learned the rooftop opens at 4;30pm, so I'll have to come back to check out the ambiance at a later time! but I met with some friends at 1:30pm the ambiance was perfectly relaxed & not so busy as I would expect the later hours to be. Great time to visit the vintage shop that took me down spiraling down through the 70's & 80's!!! The restaurants offered a variety of foods & I opted for the "The Kid" with white rice POKE bowl from POKE-SAN! Which was jammed packed with flavor it had about 7 really fresh ingredients and was delicious & just the right spices I would highly recommend & I plan to return after 4pm to check out the rooftop and to try the Conch Fritters which everyone is raving about!! read more

A fantastic food court in El Portal that had a little bit of everything from food, to a thrift store and Photo Booth! Indoor seating downstairs and outdoor seating at their rooftop made for plenty of room to be anywhere you wanted. Service was great as our waitress was so sweet and kind. Drinks at the bar downstairs were great and upstairs was good too. The only thing I felt mislead about was the punch bowl options as the one I got was good for 2-4 people but it came in the smallest cup a punch bowl could come in. Granted the drink was so strong so it felt like 2 drinks in one cup so I'll give them that. If you want a punch bowl though you may have to go for the one that is good for 6 people. I came here for an event and it's a pretty cool spot. There's a few floors starting with the food hall at the bottom with a lot of different options to buy from and they also have some antique stores to buy clothes and memorabilia. Going up the elevator where I was attending an event, it was a really great open space with good views of the city. The food was catered and although the bar was slammed they did a great job getting everybody drinks throughout the whole night. I think this is a great place to have catering and events and there's a lot of space for company events. The parking is very limited and you do have to pay. read more

I love this place first of all they have one of the best happy hours that start at 4 PM every single day they host one of the best speakeasy bars in all of the United States upstairs, they have tons of events where you can come to meet people from comedy night to bingo night and it just feels like the right amount of establishments in a single food court not to mention the awesome rooftop... I had a terrible experience at this place. I sat with a group of friends on the rooftop and the service was subpar. After everyone got their food, I waited an extra 40 min for my plate to arrive and it finally did when everyone was finished eating. As I was paying my meal finally arrived and the waitress had already taken it off my bill. You'd expect an apology and for the food to be left be she took it and I had to leave without eating because the place was closing in 30 minutes. Don't recommend. Chic food hall with great vibes & bites. First we walked in and to our left there was a cute thrift boutique! We then walked into the lively food hall and it was packed, but still space to sit. We ordered first from the pho place, we got beef pho, spring rolls, and bao buns. Spring rolls were delicious, pho was tasty, and the bao buns were okay, the bun itself was doughy, probably wasn't steamed enough. We then ordered Jerk Chicken which were probably the tastiest wings I ever had.... And plantain fries with a spicy sauce that was HOT & DELICIOUS. The ambiance is welcoming, comfortable, and fun!! We sat upstairs on the rooftop from late afternoon thru the evening so that we could see the cool lighting and the night views! The music is Top 40, Latin, and house. We had a great time. If you are on the rooftop and hungry, a server will take your order and go downstairs to the restaurant of your choice. One just wasn't enough! The customer service overall around the citadel was great! The ambiance wow loved it!
