I remember this place was talked about when it first opened and I happen to drive by it when we were in the area spontaneously. We made a pit stop for lunch before we headed back home. I didn't luck out with saving on the parking and had to pay 30 bucks for a flat rate in a garage that was nearby. The food hall consists of three floors of different types of cuisines. There is a bar that resides in the middle that has display of bottles from the top to the bottom floor. After going around on each floor, we settled on what we were going to have to eat. I got the strawberry lychee blossom boba tea and caramel delight waffle from Puffles. Both of them were beautifully presented and enjoyed with each sip and bite. My daughter got the Kagoshima Tonkotsu ramen from Shimuja and she enjoyed it as well. There was plenty of leftovers for her and I to enjoy for dinner. Julia & Henry multilevel food Eatery is located in downtown Miami. Very trendy spot in a very art deco building. I was in the area and this building caught my attention so decided to check it out. There are so many vendors inside and a wide variety of food options from Asian, Peruvian to American cuisine. This was on a Monday morning and did not see much of a crowd but I am sure it gets busy on the weekends and on peak hours. The place looks clean and modern inside. There is a cylinder shape wine cellar that is actually the main focal point. Hard to miss. Really liked the glass floors and glass stairs on the second level but can the ladies walk over it without the people downstairs staring up? This looks like a great place for groups getting together for lunch or dinner and want to try the different food options. read more

First of all....someone call Jon Taffer because i seriously felt like I was on bar rescue!!! I am sincerely sad I missed this place in its prime! I went for the first time today and there were literally 10 out of the 26 places open. The third floor is completely closed down which is understandable if the idea is to move all the current vendors up to the third floor and create a sports bar on the main floor which is what I was told by one of the last standing vendors...and I hope this is true because otherwise it's a sign that the doors will be closing soon because they simply cannot maintain with 3 floors and only 10 working vendors. We walked in, kind of in shock because the place was completely empty. There were approximately 4-6 customers eating at 2 spots, the main bar was open but all employees were on their phones waiting for business. We nervously circled the main floor then headed up to the second floor to see if anything caught our eye... the Fookem's Fabulous - Pie Vending Machine was empty and shut down...so sad I wanted to try it..so then we headed back down to the first floor where we stopped to ponder..what's the food quality like if they aren't moving products because there are literally no people buying... but bravely continuing on, we stopped at Chicken Bras and got 2 chicken empanadas for $9 they were fried fresh but a little salty in my opinion and then to B&D's Texas Bbq. We tried the platter that comes with 3 meats- Brisket, smoked turkey, and pork ribs, 2sides - Mac and cheese and potato salad and we did an add on of 1 piece of cornbread, and 2 drinks $68 all in.. everything was mid.. not great, not bad..(except the potato salad may have been old, it was a little sus) The main dining area has high top tables but all the fabric seats are old, stained, and the foot bars are busted.. the dining upstairs has low tables but the seats had crumbs and questionable residue. Would I return? Absolutely the heck not. This place had its day and now food halls are just a thing of the past I guess unless Jon Taffer can come up with a kitschy concept to bring it back to life... read more

This is a huge food hall in downtown Miami. I was really excited to come here after looking at their website, but the location is very worn down even though it's only been open for a few years. There are multiple stairs that were previously plexiglass, but have been changed to painted wood. There are multiple food stalls that are unoccupied in the entire top floor no longer sell food. It's kind of like a little flea market area. I would still recommend coming here, especially if you have a large group or picky eaters. There's a large variety and everyone can order what they want then meet in a central location. We were here 2pm on a Sunday and it was a ghost town. It's probably busy during the week for lunch. There are multiple businesses in the area. I got a Cosmopolitain at the bar and it was tasty but small. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. read more

Last week, while waiting to board our cruise, we decided to grab something to eat. After looking around near the hotel, we chose to venture out a bit to see what else was in the area. My sister actually came across this food hall, and from the hotel it was about a 16-minute walk, so we opted to take an Uber. We got there in record time. The location spans two stories with a really nice selection of eateries. Now, I'm not going to lie to you--I'm not afraid of heights, but the second floor is all glass, so you can see the first floor while you're walking. That kind of freaked me out . I stayed close to the side because in my mind I'm thinking, "What if the glass breaks?" Don't judge me . In the center of the food hall is a very tall alcohol display--talk about top shelf. If you're looking for options, this is definitely the place to try. And if I'm ever back in the area, I'd absolutely go again. read more

Julia and Henry's is a multi-level food hall. They have a bar and several smaller restaurants with an array of different cuisines. I liked the variety the restaurants offered. The location opened a little later then the hours posted and the people working seemed a little agitated that we were waiting to get into grab lunch. It was a little confusing to know which restaurants were open for Buisness and which were closed. Overall I enjoyed all the options here and look forward to trying new things next time I'm in town! read more

Really, REALLY great spot to eat! As a family of 4 we kind of just accidentally wandered here from our hotel and it was such a surprise! One kid wanted pasta, one kid wanted tacos, my husband didn't know "what he was feeling" and I just wanted everyone to eat and stop whining! This was a PERFECT solution. There are 2 stories with so many options for food! My 5 year old got his spaghetti and marinera sauce at one restaurant store front (?), my son and I had the best birria tacos from another spot and my husband ended up with chicken and gravy from a third spot. Everyone was actually happy with dinner! I don't know about parking, seemed like some street parking but we had walked. Everyone we felt with was fine and it seemed overall well kept. What I love is that it felt like a high end food court. Like all the options of a mall food court but WAY better options and a million % better quality food. Absolutely recommend coming here to eat. Everything is served on real dishes with actual silverware you leave in a bin. As soon as we were getting up, someone was already there to start cleaning up and wiping down the table, I was impressed. Go and enjoy! read more

Wanted to like this place more but the vibes were off. Came on a Saturday night and not many customers. The inside had a lot of glass but some floor area and the stairs looked like they were broken and had black rubber (or something?) over the glass. The elevator was not working. The food vendors seemed like a wide variety and I tried the ramen place and the taco place. The ramen place was meh, the broth was okay but noodles were definitely not ramen, it was warmed up spaghetti noodles with barely any meat. They were out of a lot of things at the ramen stall. The guys behind the counter there also had zero customer service skills. They looked pissed in general and just kept answering "we're out of that". The birria tacos at Tacotomía were really good and the lady taking ordered and cooking the food was super welcoming. I didn't try any desserts, but I did get a drink at the boba & smoothie place downstairs. They were nice too. Overall I would not come back unless I was going to Tacotomia. The whole place is a bit tired and felt surprisingly cramped for space. Just not for me. read more

I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at Julia & Henry's Food Hall on Saturday 04/04/2026 The place felt neglected and unsafe. The third floor was closed, many vendors weren't operating, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. On the second floor, there were transparent glass floor panels, some of which appeared damaged and taped over with duct tape, creating a serious safety hazard for anyone walking through the area. The food safety issues were even more alarming: At the Italian spot, a worker had a baby in a stroller next to the cooking area, and food was being prepared in what appeared to be unsanitary conditions. The pasta and sauce tasted off -- my kids wouldn't eat it. At the chicken vendor, the chicken tenders were undercooked. Later that night, we experienced severe food poisoning symptoms (vomiting and diarrhea). At the taco stand, the employee handled raw chicken and then, without changing gloves, touched cooked food, tortillas, and condiments. That's blatant cross-contamination. I threw the food away immediately. This is not just a bad experience -- it's a serious health hazard. I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities. I would not recommend eating here until major improvements are made. read more

I love the concept of a food hall. This one gets extra points for having a large screen in the main area to watch the Inter games. I also really enjoyed the music they were playing. But I find the food and drinks a bit overpriced and the food underwhelming the other times I've visited. Recently, came for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised that they've adjusted the prices, and added food to the happy hour menu. They had a live DJ and a vintage thrift market. We stopped by the La Epoca bar to grab two drinks. Those cost around $40 with tip. Drinks were amazing and the service from the staff was great. Located conveniently downtown Miami, Julia and Henry was the perfect spot for a pre-cruise dinner! My friends and I decided to stop by for dinner the night before our cruise, it was the perfect location because none of us really knew what we wanted to eat! At Julia and Henry's we were able to try a little bit of every craving we had! We went at the perfect time on a Thursday night. As a table of 4 we were able to move around quickly, receive service efficiently, and not have to wait in any long lines. The spiral staircase and beautiful ambiance set the perfect vibe for a Miami night out! Now to the food as a foodie, I loved being able to try a variety of things! Starting with Tacotonia and their birria tacos--which were tasty and seasoned well but lacked the amount of cheesey goodness I like. The side of rice was pricey and unfortunately crunchy and not so fresh. Also, their toppings station was open and people were able to just walk by and grab limes with their bare hands...after COVID this was a huge no-no for me. Next, I went to try a variety of bao buns from Palmar--2 Fried Chicken and 1 Pork Bell. Both were really good, but there was definitely a kick of spice! Then, I headed over to Handroll Sushi to try one of their most popular rolls--the Wagyu Handroll with nori, rice, wagyu, crunchy chili garlic, avocado, scallions. It was so good, I definitely wanted 2 more! Lastly, I stopped by HITCHIHAIKA for fast-casual gyozas. The Chicken Carbonara gyozas with pancetta, garlic, heavy cream, egg was my favorite item I tried at Julia and Henry's! They were cooked fresh to order, however, they cooled pretty quickly so be sure to eat them first if you're on a foodie tour like me! Discovering Julia & Henry's during my time living in South Miami was pretty huge. Here is a cool, often lively food hall right in downtown Miami. I went before a Heat game, I went before a movie, I went before a concert. Julia & Henry's is a good spot to go with friends if you all can't decide on one place to eat. This time around I stopped by after the Miami Book Fair, around 11:45am on a Saturday. Given that it had just opened 45 minutes earlier, it wasn't very busy at all but all the food stands were ready to serve. Julia & Henry's has changed since my last time there. The whole third floor for example is now home to a "market" of some sorts, with clothes and other items to buy. I didn't check it out but maybe next visit I will. It's a shame that replacing the third floor with this concept got rid of some of the food halls that were there before (I'm thinking of you hand roll bar). But nonetheless, there is still a great amount of different food to choose from. This time around I chose the Chicken Shack, located on the second floor. I got the spicy chicken tenders and fries. The tenders weren't spicy at all in my opinion but they were super juicy and flavorful. It came with a good amount of tenders, and the fries were great too. Overall, it was a good pick to refuel after walking around in the heat. Julia & Henry's has changed in the years it's been open, but what hasn't changed is the cool vibes and yummy food it offers in downtown Miami. read more

Try the ice cream and freshly made waffle cones from Puffles. With tables and chairs located on every floor, you can find a nice spot to sit, enjoy a drink and munch on food. This place is so cool over 20 concepts under one roof. We went around lunch time and it was not supe busy. But so many choices and things to see. We settled on a drink at the bar. He made me a delish passion fruit spritz and I did the chicken carbonara dumplings. So inventive and the flavor was great crispy and covered in sauce. My bf got a Texas burger at June burger with fries. Fries were crispy and a variety of potatoes. Burger was cooked well. The also got the chocolate berries from amazónica omg best thing ever. You order at the counter then choose your table -- it's open seating. We shared bites at 3 places - Greenvibe for chicken parmesan, Mensch for Muhammara (delish!), and a Mi-Cuit Au Chocolat (molten chocolate cake) from Yann Couvreur for dessert. Prices range, but moderately priced mostly and great for dates or groups with their large tables on bottom floor. There's a massive projector screen where they play pro fútbol games too! I got the Spicy Chicken Buns from "Palmar" and I was surprised at how good they were. I usually don't get chicken and stick to pork belly or some other seafood but the chicken buns here were yum! Perfect amount of spiciness with some kimchi added and the right amount of crunch, I'd definitely come back for more! Julia & Henry's has potential, but my visit was underwhelming. The A/C wasn't working, which made it uncomfortable in the August heat, and the building looked a bit ill-maintained and dirty in places. Several restaurants on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors were closed, which limited the experience. That said, the concept of a multi-level food hall in downtown Miami is still a great idea, and if the management invests in upkeep and consistency, it could become the vibrant destination it was hyped up to be back in 2023. read more

I really enjoy this food hall in Downtown Miami because there are SO many options. There truly is something for everyone, even if you're vegetarian or vegan! I've tried Mediterranean, Asian, French, and Italian dishes there and have yet to be disappointed. The beautiful elevator enclosure with lights and wine bottles gives a modern feel. Employees are always at the ready to take away any empty glasses or plates and wipe down a dirty table. The only downside is you can't start a tab at the bar unless you are actually sitting at the bar. Even if you're sitting at a table right in front of it, you have to close your bill every time. Julia and Henry's is a great place to bring a group, a date, or even just a cup of coffee and pastry for yourself. I wish this had been there when I lived in downtown Miami! read more

Parking is mostly street parking around $3.15/hour which can be difficult to find during busy hours, so there is a nearby garage for $10 from 0-4 hours. Service was awesome. You can sit at any open table or booth. There is dedicated staff walking around to clear and clean tables after patrons are done, even thiugh each stall is run by different establishments. They have self serve water refill stations located throughout the food hall. The food was awesome and loved all the variety. The french bakery stand was outstanding, but since this location is in downtown Miami... the prices are very high. Regardless, I would still bring friends and family to this location to explore just for the aesthetic. read more

Very impressed with Julia & Henry's. Perfect spot if you're craving EVERYTHING. I went during lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I didn't have to wait in any long lines to order and food was made quickly. Plenty of seating, which made checking out different spots super easy. Loved the decor. 1st stop was Cicchetti on level 1. I tried the Verona which had robiola cheese, salami, figs jam, black pepper. Delicious and the perfect starter. 2nd stop was Yabai on level 3. I tried the Spicy Tuna hand roll. Yummmy, I wish I ordered more. 3rd stop was Battubelin on level 2. I tried the Gnocchi with Pesto sauce. The Gnocchi was so good and basically just melts in your mouth. 4th stop was OMG Brigadeiros on level 1. I got a box of 6 Brigadeiros. So delicious, creamy and soft. Everything was sooooo yummmy and I would 100% recommend trying the same things. I can't wait to return and try more. Three floors of yumminess -- come here with an empty stomach!! My fiancé and I came here on a weekday and it was still quite busy, but luckily no lines outside the door like social media has posted (most likely that happens on the weekends, and at the time J&H was still fairly new). We tried a lot of great things but the foods/drinks that stood out to me in our first visit were: 1. June Burgers -- The Lechon Burger (both the Wagyu and the pulled pork were so juicy yet not so greasy -- we didn't get hit with the food coma like most big burgers do) and the Truffle Furikake Fries (the truffle was deliciously strong and the waffle fries had the right amount of crisp! I was very impressed by such a simple side!) 2. Mensch -- Get the Laffa Bread!! Their flatbread is freshly baked in a coal fire oven and parts of it fluff up. You break it apart and dip it into the various dips (labneh, zhough, fresh tomatoes), and just enjoy going to Flavortown in your mouth! For the size and how long it takes (I'm telling you -- FRESHLY baked), this sharable is affordable and so delicious that you actually may not want to share lol. 3. Boxelder -- Their morning breakfast smoothie beer stood out to me because it was a very thick beer like truly a smoothie consistency. I enjoyed its tartness and texture a lot! Unfortunately it is not one of their main beers as they do rotate so it may not be available anymore but I've had the pleasure to try such a unique beer! Everything else was good but these truly stood out as my favorites! I would return again simply because there is still sooooooo much to try! So WHY just 4 stars though? I've spoken great things! Welp, here are some downsides: 1. Some foods are truly overpriced. I don't mind paying more for food quality, but inflation has hit some places hard that even something so simple can cost an arm and a leg. Plus, it's in the heart of Miami and very hyped -- so do expect to budget carefully OR come with a group to share and try more variety. 2. Parking is basically non-existent. You either have to find street parking or park in the expensive lots in front of Bayside. A lot of other local food halls have lots but not here -- so wear sensible shoes for walking. 3. If able, AVOID SKIRTS/DRESSES, especially the very flowy kinds. The major design flaw is that the other floors are clear so you can simply look up and see the crowd walking/sitting above you. You may never know what hungry creeper would see up above soooo if you should wear something flowy, shorts under is highly recommended. It may be very overwhelming with options and crowds, but your best bet is to have a friend or partner find a good spot and someone else order and pick up the food. Drinks are fortunately delivered wherever you are (to avoid spills and liability issues hehe). When we went. There was a live band so it could get a little loud and you might have to do some yelling if you're catching up with someone. But you can also find a few quiet pockets here and there. Despite the crazy and price rage, I'd still come back for more! read more
