I really love the vibe at Level 6. The ambiance is beautiful, the service is great, and the cocktails are carefully crafted and absolutely delicious. It's a great spot for drinks and a light bite. The tapas were fresh, flavorful, and very well seasoned. I especially enjoyed the selection of cheeses and Spanish meats. The croquetas were delicious too, perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and flavorful inside. Everything was thoughtfully paired with sauces that complemented each dish really well. Since it's a rooftop, it did get a little hot without much airflow on a humid night, but the overall experience was still wonderful. Getting into Level 6 feels a little like you know a secret. You check in downstairs, get directed to the elevator, head up and suddenly you're greeted by that neon sign and a completely different energy. Vibrant, buzzy, definitely cute. We had a reservation and were seated right away, unfortunately with a gorgeous view of... the parking lot. It was raining, so we'll give them some grace, because we can absolutely see this place hitting differently at sunset. Then came the cocktails. $21+ for a basic drink. Were they good? Sure. But respectfully... this is the Grove, not Miami Beach. Food didn't do much to change our minds. The mushroom croquetas were easily the winner (3.8/5), but the patatas bravas (1/5) were a miss and the pan con manchego had us thinking... wait, we could've made this at home. Level 6 is beautiful, lively and probably best enjoyed with a cocktail in hand while the sun goes down. My cousin and I came to the rooftop bar level six when we were looking for a spot that was playing the World Cup finale. As soon as we got up to the top floor, it was obvious that we were not the first to come up with this plan. We looked around for an open bar table, and we were eventually approached by a server. She handed us two menus and asked us if we were partaking in any food for the evening. We told her we would love to see a menu and may order some appetizers. We were aware that we were coming during a busy time as the match was ongoing, but she did give off an attitude that indicated she was stressed and potentially unhappy that she had to work this particular shift. My cousin and I started with the Frito Mixto seafood appetizer. It was an adequate size portion that was served with a delicious, garlic aïoli sauce, lemon, and sliced red pepper. It was a mixture of shrimp and calamari. We enjoyed the atmosphere and wanted to know that we really enjoyed the decor and all of the plants that made the rooftop feel more like a garden. It was definitely Coconut Grove vibes. My only critique other than the service would be that we noticed the prices were a bit elevated for the selections. Best dinner experience with amazing food, incredible skyline views and a friendly and attentive atmosphere!!! I booked a table for 2 on open table and selected standard seating which turned out to be loungey and perfect to sit back and take in the vibes and the rooftop views. We ordered the hamachi, ham croquettes, arugula salad, wagyu skirt steak, truffle paella and churros for dessert. Not only was every bite fantastic but the drinks were so fresh and delicious! Will definately be back to try the Miami Spice pre fixe menu now that I know my faves! Highly recommend making a reservation and sharing dishes to make the most of the tapas style menu! Went to level six during Miami Spice. Reasonable pricing for good amount of food. For entertainment, there is a live fire dancer that comes on every once in a while. Unfortunately, they sat us in the most uncomfortable table and chair set up in the restaurant. In the middle, they have these very short tables with uncomfortable stools and chairs that make dining awkward. Not to mention, that two of these tables are so close together that my friends and I were bumping elbows and touching the backs of the other dining guests in the table right behind us. And, to make matters worse, we not only had to be in an uncomfortable and tight space with the guests behind us, but we had to endure their yelling almost in our ears the entire time because the music in that restaurant is extremely loud. Music can be loud, but it is to the point where you cannot even hear yourself when speaking or you can only hear the other guests yelling. Suggestions to restaurant management, get rid of the awkward, short tables and chairs, or ask guests when they're making the reservation if they want to sit in that type of setting. Also, you may want to separate those type of tables and stools because they are WAY too close for comfort. And, consider bringing down the music level a few decibels. read more

Wonderful Birthday Celebration for my Husband! We had a wonderful time, our server was super helpful and attentive. The food was good overall and the drinks were even better. The Paella was a steal the two price options are for 2 people or for 4 people to share but I honestly could of just shared the larger one with my partner haha. Ambience was top notch! I sampled the following - One of their tapas - the Salt Cod Croquetas - This is their description of them from their website - chive, guindilla pepper, sauce gribiche. Verdict I enjoyed them. I'm a fan of Amal & Level 6, having been here multiple times, including when at first opened and most recently for an event. That's why a group of us decided to stop by for the after party at a nearby venue. Architecturally, the whole rooftop vibes are beautiful! Service was top-notch, from the staff of the velvet room to our hostess who was able to get our group a table without reservations. The ambiance is very luxurious and to jokingly quote a friend in the group, sugar daddy vibes. I guess with my silk tie and Austin Burke "pimp blue" suit...and the jazzy hiphop soundtrack fit this vibe. We started off with drinks, of course. My Mojito was very well blended and great as the one of many nightcaps. Myself and most of the group was pretty full from the event we had come from, but I did enjoy their Serrano jam croquettes and their & sweet and crispy bacon wrapped dates. The only area that could need some improvement was the soup from my friend had. The food, the cocktails, the service were all top notch. This was not the same place I disliked so much a few years ago. We were a big group and my sister picked the menu with the help of the friendly, & cool manager - I think his name was Angelo maybe. Anyway he gelped with the drink and food service and the whole team was spectacular. Water and drinks were always full and the food was delicious. Most of the other tables are quieter and more isolated, perfect for just chatting with your friends. Drinks were good, and they have the typical assortment of fancy bar food tapas. I checked out Level 6 Rooftop and really liked the party-bar vibe right away. It definitely has that energetic, nightlife feel that works well for the area. That said, it feels pretty crowded, and surprisingly there aren't really any tables with a direct view. Most of the seating actually faces away from it, which kind of defeats the purpose of a rooftop spot. The music was way too loud. I could barely have a conversation with my girlfriend without practically yelling across the table. If you're going strictly for drinks and a party atmosphere, it works. But if you're trying to talk and enjoy dinner, it can be frustrating. Service was good overall, and the staff was friendly, but we did find ourselves looking around for our server a couple of times for refills and additional orders. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the location and atmosphere, that's expected. I was surprised they only had one beer on the entire menu. The food was pretty good, but nothing amazing that would make me want to rush back. The garlic shrimp was disappointing. It tasted more like seaweed and had almost no garlic flavor at all. The highlight for me was the churro with ice cream dessert. That was easily the best thing we ordered. Overall, it's not terrible, but it's nothing special either. I left feeling a bit disappointed, especially given the hype and price point. It's a decent spot for the vibe, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to. read more

Upon sitting down the waitress notified us since we "weren't dining" and "just drinking", there would be a $75 or $95 charge per person (it was very loud with the music and couldn't hear her well) to offset what weren't eating. After we spoke to the server numerous times, they waived the fees on our bill as a courtesy. Trendy Miami rooftop located right above the Lebanese Amal restaurant. It draws a large crowd both at the bar and outdoor seating (retractable roof). It's a nice vibe and they surely charge you for the experience. Cocktails are crafted well if you can squeeze into the bar and order. Tapas were also tasty. They had a fire dancer come out at one point and put on a show. It's defiantly a nice place on the right night or with the right people.
