CASA. TIKI. IS. ALWAYS. A. VIBE! Each time I've come to Casa Tiki, I've always had a good time. The drinks are phenomenal and they always seem to have a new menu and the music definitely set the mood and vibe. The bartenders are quick and awesome as well. Be sure to check this place out asap if you want to have a good time.

All of Miami's flavors bundled into one bar! Pool tables, karaoke, live music, and a little perreo if you're lucky! Fresh popcorn on deck! Julie, Raul, & Chris are the best!

Amazing Christmas pop up!! Decorations above and beyond and the cocktails are so flavorful and garnished to perfection! I ordered the Yippie ki yay and it did not disappoint.

We went for the Christmas pop up and there was lots of great decor. They had plenty of themed holiday drinks and mugs. Since it was earlier in the night it was pretty empty, but it was nice to enjoy all the lights without too many people.

I was invited to an event here. Fun space! Seasonally decorated - this time in Halloween spirits and I understand it will switch to a winter one after. More spaced out (perhaps less discovered) than their sister location. I prefer the space so it worked for me (I don't like to be too crowded). Very talented bar tenders that took their time in an appreciated way (quality yet efficient). They had a trivia night after the event which was really fun! Both staff and patrons were swapping jokes, it was a great environment! Keep it up casa tiki crew!

Came here for Dead Flamingo pop-up, from out of town. Great bar with chill vibes and moody atmosphere perfect for a date. Karaoke here is a blast! Bartenders were amazing- Chris made me the best Negronis i've ever had! Mugan was also fantastic, amazing drinks and perfect service. Luis was working hard and the place was spotless. Thank you guys for a great night. Don't miss this spot!

I walked into this bar a mere mortal, lost in a sea of existential dread and trying to figure out what the heck "happiness" even was. I left, not only with a drink in hand but with a new lease on life. The dim lighting is just enough to make you feel mysterious, but not so much that you lose your keys in your own pocket. The bartender? A sage, dispensing wisdom with every pour and knowing exactly how much tequila to add before I start making questionable decisions. The drinks? Perfect. Refreshing. Like someone gave liquid form to my deepest desires and served it in a glass. Sure, they don't serve food--but who needs food when you have a cold drink in your hand and a whole new outlook on life? This bar doesn't just serve drinks; it serves perspective, community, and a bit of bad decision-making for good measure. In short: This place didn't just save my night. It saved my soul--and possibly my dignity. If you haven't been, you're missing out on a life-changing experience.

It's not a pure tiki bar per se, but Casa Tiki gave us a decent spot to continue a friend's birthday party and to watch our NBA team's effort. There was also a salsa class happening this Friday; one of the birthday girl tried the class was definitely a talented dancer! We did try to get a special drink for the birthday girls but were told they don't do anything for that; maybe since it was just a small group of us? Still, the sound system was nice and vibrant & the drinks well blended. I started off with a rum old fashioned and also enjoyed their mojito.

We were walking around little Havana and not having any luck with finding a good bar that could accommodate our group of 10 on a Saturday night. Some required a 2 drink minimum (a few of our group didn't drink) and others just didn't have the space and/or we just weren't dressed for the occasion. But after some Yelping, we saw that Casa Tiki was nearby. I'm already a huge fan of tiki bars so we walked over to grab a couple of drinks. There were a handful of people at the bar so my group made our place in the back couch area. There weren't menus just yet so a couple of us went up to the bar to ask for recommendations. When Will, the owner, found out it was my bachelorette party, he and his team pulled out all the stops for us. From gifting us a bottle of champagne to bringing out the bubble machines and disco lights, they made us feel like queens! It was perfect timing: the DJ was just about getting set up when we arrived and they really got the party started! He took alllll of our requests from Bay music to ABBA to Whitney Houston and truly made the night so fun. There isn't *really* a dance floor but we were really dancing the night away. Guess that just goes to show it's about who you're with! The staff even joined us in dancing for a bit and another guest bought us drinks too. I'm so glad we ended up at Casa Tiki for the last night of my bachelorette. They took what was looking like a sad night and completely turned it around for us. Wish we were in Miami for one extra day so we could've checked out Better Days (Will's other bar) too! That'll be bookmarked for next time. We learned that he and his team just took over Casa Tiki maybe a few weeks before so I can only bet it'll get even better from here. THANK YOU to Will & the Casa Tiki team for such a fun & memorable experience!

Instead, I stumbled upon Koana Tiki Bar--a hidden little chamber of tropical enchantment tucked away from the ordinary world. As Miami's only tiki bar, Koana is surprisingly well themed. It is a smaller establishment, which explains why reservations are required, but the intimate setting only adds to the charm. Once inside, the outside world seems to disappear beneath warm lighting, exotic décor, and the unmistakable feeling that something mysterious is being prepared behind the bar. The food is available, but Koana truly shines through its drink menu. The team has clearly done its research and assembled some serious heavy hitters. My companions and I visit whenever we're in Miami, and we've sampled nearly every drink on the menu. I have yet to encounter a bad one. They are fairly priced for Miami, though their strength should not be underestimated. These are not casual refreshments--they are potent little potions disguised as tropical cocktails. The staff is always kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. They're happy to explain the drinks and guide you toward something that suits your taste, whether you seek something sweet, sour, smoky, fruity, or powerful enough to summon your ancestors. During my visit, I combined several ingredients from the menu into a highly experimental concoction. After one sip, my allergies vanished completely. After the second, I could smell colors. By the third, I was convinced the palm trees were speaking to me in ancient tongues. I have no idea what was in that drink, but my sinuses were clear, my spirit was elevated, and I briefly achieved enlightenment beneath a decorative tiki mask. Reservations are essential, the drinks are strong, and the bar is small--but Koana is absolutely worth seeking out. Just be certain you're prepared for whatever spirits may answer when you raise your glass.

Guess the insight here is Kaona draws folks who so totally want to be there and participate in the nightly celebrations that it becomes contagious, spreading from table to table with smiles, laughter, and cameras. Oh yeah, and did I mention the cocktails? I feel the term 'artisan' is so overused nowadays that I avoid using it, so can we just go with the Bill & Ted description that Kaona's tiki drinks are "Most Excellent!" Will non Gen-Xers get that last reference???

I used to go to the club in my college years. After the hotel was sold, the club moved to the Rocky Horror venue in Coconut Grove. In 1999 after that closed too, the club became a roaming pop up at different South Florida venues. Which is how I came to be at Bar Nancy in Little Havana on a Saturday night. They host a monthly Kitchen Club night. Almost everything was closed in Little Havana by the time I arrived so it was surprisingly easy to find metered street parking only two blocks away. Bar Nancy did not have a cover charge which was nice. The bar is decorated like a pirate ship with many nautical touches. It is named for the brigantine Nancy, which transported war supplies during the American Revolution. The room the bar is located in was small, dark, hot, and crowded. Many people enjoyed themselves on the dance floor in front of the DJ. They also have a backyard area that was popular. My favorite room was the one between the two. It was decorated like the Captains quarters with a couch and comfortable chairs. I could still enjoy the music and more importantly, the air conditioning. During the night I had a delicious Amaretto Sour. Despite the dive bar surroundings, it was a hefty $15. While that is expensive for a cocktail, it was a small price to pay to relive my youth for one evening.

The restaurant sits next to the Coconut Grove marina, and is accessible by land or sea. The atmosphere always feels like you're on a Caribbean vacation. Our server was Iria and she was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu and perfectly attendant. She wasn't hovering over us but checked on us enough where we were perfectly taken care of. We started with an order of the peel & eat shrimp. This is seasoned with old bay and it was delicious; only complaint is they weren't cleaned very well, several of them were cut open but the "vein" was still very present. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, probably should give 3 but the rest really made up for it. For the main courses my bf had the seafood pasta which he said was good, although the sauce was a bit plain (he described it as having a ragu flavor). I had the Baja tacos at his suggestion and boy was it a good recommendation. It comes with 3 tacos and they are packed with fish. They were absolutely delicious. The tacos also come with a small side of elote which had a strong citrus flavor, absolutely delicious. All in all, I don't know why we don't come here more often but we will. Monty's should always be an option when the weather is right.

She walked us to a table that was about to be directly in the sun, so we politely asked if we could sit at the table right next to it instead. Keep in mind, the restaurant was not very busy at all. She immediately told us no with an attitude that was completely unnecessary and honestly set the tone for the entire experience. Then our server brought out our $9 non-alcoholic drinks, and one of the glasses had what looked like actual dirt all around the rim. We pointed it out and asked to switch it for a tea instead. When he brought the tea, he explained that the "dirt" was supposedly just from the watermelon. It was 1000% dirt. Regardless of what they want to call it, the glass was visibly dirty and should never have been served to a customer. After that, our server barely came back to check on us. To make matters worse, when we received the bill, they had actually charged us for the drink we sent back because the glass was dirty. The food was below average as well, especially the fish dip. The non-alcoholic teas are also $9 each, which is insane considering the quality and overall experience. The entire establishment felt dirty and poorly taken care of, and the staff seemed more interested in standing in the corner gossiping than checking on their customers. This was our first time here, and we absolutely will not be coming back. The current 3.3-star rating is generous. Whoever owns or manages this place seriously needs to reevaluate the level of service and cleanliness because this experience was unacceptable. 0/10.
