I messaged them on Instagram for the code and it came through right away since it's automated, super easy. When you walk in it literally looks like a laundry room and then opens up into a cute, intimate bar. We came on a Friday night and it wasn't too packed, which was nice. The bar itself didn't have seating, but the staff was really accommodating and rearranged some chairs and brought us a table so we could sit comfortably. The DJ was lit and set a great vibe. Drinks were good, we ordered spicy margaritas and they were strong and flavorful, though a bit pricey at around $25 each. Overall, it's a cute little spot to grab drinks, chat, and enjoy a fun speakeasy atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out. read more

I absolutely loved this speakeasy. At first, you go into a space that looks just like a laundrymat with real products and hanging robes. Then you enter the code on the phone for the door to open. Once you go in, you get seated right away. The place is very intimate and decorated in a fun jungle theme. My friends and I sat by the couch and absolutely had a great time. The music was great and we danced to a lot of it. To drink, I tried the lychee martini, which was very good. We also tried the 4 evergreen with a shot of gin and it was so refreshing. I have wanted to come here forever and I finally got the chance last night (more like this morning, LOL ). After attending a comedy show in Doral we wanted to head over here for a cocktail but first you have to DM El Laundry on Instagram for the code. With the code comes more detailed instructions on how to find the speakeasy. El Laundry Room is on the first floor of a strip mall. When we arrived I was a little unsure of where to go but we followed the music and we soon found the "laundromat". There was a gentleman outside who confirmed I had the code. We headed inside to the pay phone and were in the process of calling when the door opened anyway and off we went inside. This place is a vibe. At one in the morning, the DJ had El Laundry popping. You can sit at the bar or in one of their inviting seating areas. The walls have a gorilla mural and zebra heads and a disco ball spins overhead. It's dim and cozy. Most cocktails run between $16 and $18. I ordered the Lychee 75 made with Canaima Gin infused with jasmine tea, dry vermouth, elderflower liquor, lychee cordial, and prosecco. It was a perfect craft cocktail made with care. I loved the atmosphere, the music, and most of all, my drink. I am so happy I finally made it to the laundromat. read more

Had such a fun experience at El laundry room the other night. My girlfriend and I decided to check it out after being at the Miami Improv. It was only a few minutes away and it's a place that she had been dying to go to for a while. This place is definitely hidden. Speakeasy vibes for sure. There is a set up of four laundry machines and lots of laundry and cleaning products around. In order to get the code you must direct message the Instagram account. Once you get there, you have to put the code into the payphone on the wall and the Side door will open. Once you walk in it is a dark dreamy hideaway where you feel like you've stepped into a 70s boom boom room. The walls are appointed with really cool wallpaper, there's neon signs and a spinning disco ball on the ceiling. It is filled with fun green velvet couches, a smattering of chairs and a bar. That's big enough to fit about eight people. There's a DJ that's spinning some great music when we got there around 12:30 AM. The place was pretty full. We each had one drink and they were phenomenal. I had their version of an espresso martini called the "espressotini" made with rum. my friend got a lychee seventy five which was the bars take on a French seventy five . these were true craft cocktails and even though the prices were a little steep ( $17 and $18 respectively ), they were absolutely phenomenal. When you pay that much for a craft cocktail, you really want it to be that a crap cocktail! Great speakeasy concept! If you don't know what "speakeasy" research it before going so you can understand the concept. This is important since it is a different experience. The drinks were good! Service was great. Place is small so seating was limited. We asked if we can sit in a corner area that was empty they said it was reserved. No one sat there the entire time we waited to get seating. The bar was full so we really didn't get to enjoy the sit down experience. It's a shame that they didn't let us sit in the reserved area that never got used. I did see people come in sit around didn't get drinks which is really sad to see people do this. Considering others want to have drinks and are standing around to really enjoy the music and drinks. Music was on point for the vibe of a speakeasy. Drink menu looked great. I hope to come back another day and try and enjoy sitting. Came on a Wednesday night right when it opened. No bouncer at that time and was easy to figure out access once you have the code. Inside Catalina greeted wife and I warmly got us a seat and served us rest of evening. She was super nice. Inside fits about 60 people but we had place to ourselves along w one other couple. Can't speak to weekend crowds or lines at door. Bouncer was there when we left tho. Drinks were amazing. Recommend the Milk Punch, Foam Lover and Boobies Club are great drinks. My partner and I came here for our first time on a date night. It was about 3 weeks ago on 9/6 on a Wednesday night. This specific speakeasy you do need a code to get in. In order to receive the code you message their Instagram and they instantly respond to you. On the reviews below there is a few negative comments on it , however I'm assuming they've gotten better at responding. When we entered all the tables and bar seats were occupied, so we waited at the sofa right at the entrance. Their was a young lady who came and greeted us instantly and asked if we'd like a cocktail. Shortly after that a table became available so the wait wasn't long (I'd say good 15mins). What I did really enjoy was the ambiance , all servers were nice and attentive and the decor was very much jungle vibes! We each tried 3 cocktails, the cocktails were all very different and creative. I'd say they were very much on the sweeter end, probably one thing I'd say I wasn't really digging . We did order a snack, the pimento olives, this dish brings sooo many olives, so the price for it wasn't too shabby. The horrible experience began when we were greeted by a very unprofessional bouncer that gave us a run around of a story. He began to tell us that the owner was having a private party with his friends. He told us we could wait around to be let in. We decided to wait and the bouncer decided to take a seat in the restaurant next door to eat his pizza. Within 15 minutes a group of younger underage looking girls walked up to the bouncer and were welcomed in without even being questioned or ID'd. We then waited for about 30 minutes. The group in front of us did not not get let in either. My husband then asked the guy how much longer and he then gave us another run around with the story. At this point we were annoyed and decided to leave the line. As we were leaving, our friends that were joining us decided they were going to see if the bouncer would give them the same run around. But low and behold they let her and her husband in without even being questioned. While he was checking the girl's ID, he was staring straight at my friends chest. This was not the experience we were expecting, especially since we were a group of 9 people going for my husbands birthday. To be honest they truly lost out in a lot of money that our group was going to spend. Not even high end places in brickell or downtown, have ever turned us down to go in. I've been to this bar twice, once earlier in the night (730p) and once now (around 930p). Bar def gets busier around 10pm, fills out and music gets very loud. It's like no lyric, vibe music, I really enjoyed it. Bartender obviously takes pride in his work, readily engages in discussion/advice. Drinks are amazing, well crafted, not super balanced because they tend to lean sweet. However, I am sure if you asked for them to make you something original, they would. I am waiting in line for the restroom now. This happened last time. One restroom (other one is locked permanently?) for a full bar. There's a very comfortable bar and cozy sitting vignettes throughout the rest of the space. The decor is inviting and pleasing to the eyes. The music is out of this world; not overpowering but loud enough to thoroughly enjoy - kudos to the DJ for the awesome tunes. The service is top notch. Daniela took care of us this evening, and her cocktail recommendations were perfect. This place is not my cup of tea. Maybe i'm not the audience for this location. The service was not good. The waitress was super dry and really demanding when it came to certain questions. They do not have a full bar. No basics like: Don Julio. Casamigos. Clase Azul Tito's but they do carry bottom shelf which was a little weird. The DJ was okay, just same beat music for the hour or so we were here. You cannot switch out alcohol from the speciality drinks because all the drinks are premade. This bar needs to be more specific on dress attire. Upon my arrival my boyfriend is dressed in casual attire with a plain green T-Shirt, black jeans, and white Sperry's. The bouncer at the front tells him he can't enter because he said his T-Shirt was considered to be sport shirt when he is clearly wearing a plain GREEN T-Shirt. I have been a usual speakeasy visitor since visiting Savannah a few years back. I am comparing my review based on all the speakeasies I have visited; I was not impressed with the drinks. They taste good, but we're on the sweet side for me; I prefer very earthy drinks. They have no real food, and when drinks are involved, this can be very pricy to order the small tapas they have. The service was exceptional, and I give them a star for that alone. The ambiance and music selection had a wide variety. Caterina was the nicest person I met in Doral. I evacuated from Fort Myers for Hurricane Milton and stayed in a hotel across the street. She creates excellent cocktails and truly makes you feel welcome at her bar. If you're in the area, have her make you her version of a painkiller or her rum based key lime pie cocktail.
