We tried to ride the bull, but the staff wouldn't acknowledge us while they played on the bull themselves. Went here for my friends birthday and we had a blast! We went on a Saturday night and it was free entry. It was pretty packed when we got there but it wasn't overly crowded. You can get a section with a purchase of bottle service. There is a menu and the options were pretty expensive, we decided to get Grey Goose for $300. This included the standard bottle service fixings like ice, cranberry, and pineapple juice. Throughout the night it's line dancing, I believe it's a specific night(s) during the weekday where you can learn them. There was diverse music, Latin to pop to hip hop. Customer service was great, our server checked in on us the entire night. There is a pretty spacious parking lot, this spot is located in the Dolphin Mall plaza. It was my first time and I felt very welcome and had a great time it unfortunately was extremely hot in there and there wasn't very adequate AC unfortunately. A group of us ventured out to PBR (yes, clubbing at Dolphin Mall is now a thing, didn't think I'd be saying that) for a night of line dancing last Saturday. As a big fan of Roundup, I had more or less the same expectations for music and vibe. They do allow drinks on the floor here, so prepare to be splashed - staff are quick to mop the dance floor if they notice it though. I don't like that the main bar is next to the dance floor as there is considerably less room to move here, as most folks are crowding around the bar and people-watching two feet away. While I enjoyed my night, it definitely isn't the place I'd recommend to friends who are searching for a place to learn. The dj was doing a lot of club mixes of country songs by 10:30pm so that, after a minute of sped up dancing, he transitioned into a top 40s song. I had a hard time keeping up and eventually gave up on trying to follow the dancers who knew what they were doing. The buckle bunnies are easier to spot when they're standing on top of the booths, if you're trying to learn! Even while the Southern Soul folks were demonstrating and calling out steps, the dj was in his own world and playing music and airborne loudly over the instructors on the microphone. They definitely seemed frustrated but dj was not reading the crowd. Finally, beers were not overly expensive inside - also, we started with a first round outside in the Vivo entertainment space. Cover was $5 per person, and though we were first in line at 9pm, doors didn't start welcoming VIP guests until 9:15. Miami is not exactly known for its country scene, but this place seems to be a hit. We went for Thursday Ladies night and the Line Dancing Class - it started off as partner dancing , which was ok but would have preferred an entire line dancing class personally. Cocktails before ladies night special took effect were excellent - however the free drinks being served there was definitely a dip in the quality - to be expected but also marginally disappointing when you get all sour mix. This bar is just... okay. We arent real big fans of country music but appreciate the dancing. Unfortunately they don't have anyone guiding the line dancing and therefore, not everyone can join in. And when there is a song starting to play to which the employees want to line dance, they push people out of the way forcibly and without care. The bar is not big on the inside, there is only dance floor, bar and bull. So if youre unluckily standing where someone on the dance floor, you will most likely get told to move or pushed out of the way. When they are not playing country music, they play a little bit of everything but mostly throwbacks. Here you will hear pitbull, black eyed peas, all that early 2000s music but also hear the occasional bad bunny and daddy yankee. The variety is good but its like 70% country and 30% other which is understandable, I am not complaining, just informing! In the end, the bar is conviniently placed in dolphin mall where parking is free and there is lots of it. They are open until late and its okay when you take all things into consideration. read more

The one thing I'll give PBR is that its coveniently located which makes it easy for everyone to get together. Since the grand opening I have been back about 3-4 times and it has just been meh. The music is whatever and there is no separation from the dance floor and the rest of the bar which makes it difficult to get around. I wish they had employees leading the dances so everyone can join in and learn. They also do this random purge inspired performance which is really more annoying than entertaining as it lasts for several minutes and they shut off the music and the bull. read more

First of all no food, second of all in the year and a half I've been coming here have they ever implemented a rule like they have now. My girlfriend went to go walk our friend outside to her car because she was alone and they wouldn't let her re-enter. i personally have spent 1000s of dollars here, birthdays, celebrations everything.... but my girlfriend couldn't come back inside for what reason? not even the police could've helped us. we asked for a manager and of course they couldn't be found. so they are implementing a new rule and not there to explain?? because on the thursday before halloween it wasn't like this? and also it's really ridiculous you have a sign that people CANT see. so might as well put it in neon lights in the front cover the cowboy bar sign because you guys refuse to play country it's a fucking mojito bar at this point. and i hope that this place closes down like all the other restaurants and places that have been here before. it sucks that once my favorite place has turned into garbage you guys ruined the only line dancing place we had close by and it's sickening. you will get no where treating your regulars like garbage. also why you've lost so many good buckle bunny's because this place isn't what it used to be. that's why you guys have to result in trapping people inside read more

I am a big country music fan and country dancer (line-dance and couples), so I was excited to hear that a new venue was opening in the South Florida area. My friend and I went here Saturday night. We got there when they open (8pm), and there was no cover charge. There was lots of security, with personnel checking our purses, drivers license and metal detectors for the guys. The first thing we noticed when we got in was that there were not many seats at all. There were some comfortable couches, but those were only for people who were getting bottle service, which could be a few hundred dollars. Most country bars have stools were you can comfortable watch everyone dance. The second thing we noticed was they had a mechanical bull, which was quite entertaining to watch people try to stay on it. I inquired about it, and there is no cost to do it. My friend ordered a beer, and it was fairly priced at around $6.00. I ordered a mixed drink and it was quite expensive at $16.00. We got one of the few tables, because we got there early, but we had to go to the bar to get our drinks. The dance floor wasn't separated from the bar, so it was really challenging to get there when the venue got crowded later on. People also brought their drinks on the dance floor, which poses a hazard. They played good music, but the sound was very basey, so it didn't sound good to me. They had TV's playing video of the dance floor, which was a nice touch to see it when it's blocked by people. I read that ladies night is Thursday, and that they offer line-dance lessons then. We didn't see any couple's dancing Saturday (no two-step, swing, etc.). All in all, I think it's a decent place to go, more geared for the younger, drinking crowd. I don't think I would come here again, unless I got to go on a Thursday and go to the dance lessons and ladies night. read more

Although there is no food served here, there are wonderful options right in the Vivo courtyards. This bar was amazing and fun, nothing I've seen before in Miami. They do random shots of fireball, beer shotgunning competitions and play plenty of country music, along with other genres. We celebrated our Friendsgiving here on Saturday at 10:30 pm- I cant say enough good things about this place WHAT A BLASTTTTTTT shout outs- Susan is a bartender there and she is phenomenal- she helped me set up my reservation, she is so sweet and helped me with my million questions lol (highly recommended, this place gets PACKED) we got the table next to the DJ (next shoutout DJ DAN- such a fun and talented dj, he really knew the way to mix country with a miami twist, initially I was worried because I love dancing but dont know much about country but WOW he killed it and kept everyone on the dance floor) Natalie was our server and was an angel, she was always around and made sure we had everything we needed and was so much fun and seemed liked she enjoyed her job which is refreshing, sometimes servers in these spots treat you like they are annoyed but def not here! Everyone is soooooooo nice and genuinely having a great time Shoutout to Melissa who jumped w me on the bull! She made me feel so comfortable and was so much fun And the bull runner not sure of his name but he was so sweet and took it easy on girls who were nervous which was so nice! Came here with some friends on a Saturday night. We got there right at 8pm and proceeded to enter but was told they were not open yet. We waited at the door for about 25 mins as a line began to form as others patiently waited for them to open. The sign on the door indicated 8pm to 3am. As we entered we were scanned and ID's checked, we were given a wristband. There was no cover charge. There were no available seats except for paid lounge sofas with tables. There's were two high tops with chairs and other table and chairs that were reserved. There is absolute no seating in this place except outside. The music is extremely loud but it is a 'night club'. The bar area is very large but again no seats to be found. The 'dance area' is not very large but people are out there dancing. There is also a mechanical Bull you can test out for free. I would not return but it does offer a different concept for a nightclub. It is all country music themed and there are girls with their butts out for entertainment. read more

Overall, I enjoyed my first visit to PBR! It definitely gives off more of a club vibe than a country bar but that's expected given the area it's located in. There are a few tables (about 5 of them) towards the back side of the venue to sit at in case your feet hurt or you need a rest. Went for ladies night on Thursday and the line to get your drink(s) was very long because there was only 1 bartender working but the bartender definitely knew how to make drinks plus it isn't that bad of a wait considering you drink for free. I do wish that the dance floor was separate from the crowd that's walking around trying to get to the bar or bathrooms (it's hard to dance without someone bumping into you). I love the line dance lessons and music choices read more

I would leave zero stars if possible. To begin with there was a huge line that went around towards the street since they closed the venue for a private event. There was no notice and when i asked what was going on, the bouncer was so rude. They took my REAL ID which is illegal. This is an issue that i've heard happens often.... Although I was cooperating, the bouncer grabbed my arms and shoved me out the front door-this is no way to treat a anyone much less a girl. I have bruises on my arms from this. Terrible service, make sure you close out your tabs immediately. Just to preface, we had a VIP table by the way. I left my tab open and upon trying to close my tab, the bartender literally ran away to the other bar so she didn't have to close us out. We attempted to ask the other bartender but she wouldn't close us out since she was not our bartender. All she did was message the original bartender and got no reply. We had waited more than 5 minutes for the bartender to return but she stayed at the other bar. We tried to go to the other bar to close out and she wouldn't close us out. We had no problem tipping but, since she didn't close us out, she got an automatic 20% tip because of it. I've been to this spot before so it's unfortunately to even experience this type of fraud. We tried to ask for a manager because of this occurrence but, no manager came. We are now stuck with giving a 20% tip because the bartender would not close us out. This was extremely unnecessary for her to run away to the other bar and pretended we never asked. I probably won't come back because of this. This is also extremely fraud like and it's unfortunate. They also wouldn't change the TVS by the VIP table to the UFC fights which was previewing on the outside bar. read more

We went on Thursday night without knowing that they had classes, and we were able to learn a bunch of the line dances! I honestly had such a fun night here with my friends last thursday for ladies night. On thursday's, ladies get free mixed drinks from 8pm-10pm which I think is great. This is a place you go dancing and if you get there earlier they do some lessons. I'm not the biggest fan of country music I will say but it was super fun and definitely a change of pace! PBR... I'm so disappointed with how the bathrooms are kept up. It was disgusting and unhygienic. The women's bathroom smelled like a sewer. There was vomit in a stall that was never cleaned up. Each stall had an issue and a terrible odor, no toilet paper in any of the stalls and no soap was available in any of the dispensers. Such a disappointment. The place is fun and had great music but the bathroom ruined the experience and honestly don't see myself going back with my friends. read more

I decided to book for my girlfriend's birthday, and it was by far the best experience. The vibe was upbeat and welcoming, and the music was amazing. The buckle bunnies are great in adding a unique touch to your birthday. Natalie and Giselle (Gigi) made my girlfriend's birthday unforgettable. They announced her birthday celebration to the whole club by starting their bottle service with an amazing huge placard. They delivered the absolute greatest service imaginable to us and it was one we will always remember and look forward coming back to. We were taught how to line dance by the bubbly and energetic staff members who work there. I will ask that you tip your servers if you do make a reservation for a table.
