My ladyfriend and I extended our Sunday Funday with a quick stop here. Located in the 2nd floor of Doral CityCenter, we were drawn in by the lively salsa and reggaeton. We posted up by the bar and enjoyed her usual Pinot Grigio (I had a few sips). The sound system & DJ were great and the nitrogen blasts almost got us back to our younger days of clubbing. There's also a TV (football sundays) over the bar and a great dance floor.

I was taken here for my birthday and unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. The service was poor the waitress barely came by our table. The food wasn't great either. I ordered the steak sandwich, which is made with churrasco, but the meat was tough and chewy. I ended up eating just the meat because I was starving, but I left the bread. The one highlight was the drinks, and they were actually pretty good. Also, I've heard they do events and line dancing, so maybe that's when the place really shines. But as far as a sit-down dinner goes, it's not somewhere I'd return. Also worth noting: they automatically add an 18% gratuity, which might explain the lack of attention from the staff.

Came here without knowing about their "You Had Me at Brunch" event on Sundays. The environment was lively, with a DJ playing all types of music including old school hip hop, rap, reggaeton, salsa and bachata.

It was my first time here and if I had to describe it in just one word it would be -LOUD. Now, depending what you're looking for, this can be good or bad. I came with my bestie and was looking for a fun but quieter place, as I was hoping to be able to carry a conversation comfortably. If that's what you seek, go elsewhere. This place is a very fun vibe! Packed! Intensely loud. This is a place that is excellent for a fun group gatherings to drink and possibly dance a bit without talking too deeply. The waitresses were all really pretty and sweet. Their outfits are quite skimpy, so perhaps not a place I'd take my kids or minors. Food was decent. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich but the chicken came out grilled. Weird. But I didn't mind as I actually prefer grilled chicken over breaded/fried/crispy anyway, so it worked out. Overall, it was a good time and I'd return for the right occasion :)

During a girl's night out, we stopped in at Copper's a couple of months ago to have a couple of drinks and listen to music. The ambiance was lively, loud, and lots of happy people. There is indoor and outdoor seating, whichever you prefer. We sat inside. The decor was really cool with pink/blue lighting. Comfortable seating. We loved the live music! Everyone was dancing! The food smelled so good, but we had already eaten. We ordered drinks and those were very good. We just wanted to cut loose and have fun. The crowd was a mix of all ages. There is a parking garage right around the corner, a short walk away. Copper's is on the second floor. There are large elevators to take you there. You can walk around upstairs and look at the CityPlace view. We will go back again.

Do they take reservations for brunch? Also do they have music during brunch?

Any recommendations for a brunch place with a great Dj and party vibe?

This place is best at night for the live music.

    Can kids go?

Kids can go, but be aware the servers wear minimal clothing; little shorts and tiny shirts! I wouldn't take my kiddos! Loved the place but would personally say it's for adults!

    Are kids allowed?

Not a night that's for sure.

Can you make a reservation for a large brunch party?

    Yes you can.

Are there drinks specials for brunch?

They have $69 Patron and Corona Bucket Special and $25 bottlomless mimosas!!

Is there a DJ during brunch ? If so what kind of music is played?

Every type it's slot of fun and gets really crowded.

On Saturday night is it a live band? if so till what time? what music is played after the band plays?

Hi. Yes there's always a live band. They usually stay until around midnight or so. After that the DJ will begin his set.

Planning on going with a group total of 4 including myself wanted to know if anybody can give tips on how reserving a table works or would it be better to just walk in and order drinks?

Hi Rhino, I recommend giving them a call and a heads up but then again it shouldn't be too bad given they have a lot of space. A table for 4 shouldn't be too hard. You can also let the hostess know you will be having a few drinks by the bar area… Read more

    Is there an age limit?

    Yes 21 for brunch

Do they ID upon entry on sundays for brunch?

    Yes they do.

At what time and which days do they have live music?

    Weekends 7-9pm

Do they have different bands playing every night? What time?

Not sure if it's every night but I have been there twice during the week and they did have live music

The happy hour is with food menu too or just drinks?

there is a small HH food selection last time I was there.

    When is happy hour?

Hi Roxana our Happy Hour is everyday from 4-7PM.

We sat at the bar and he immediately asked if it was our first visit. When we said yes, he gave us an extra warm welcome and thoroughly explained all the options available. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they had Happy Hour until 10pm on a Sunday! James offered us several beers to try. Once we decided, he asked for a card to open a tab. When he saw my card, he pronounced my name correctly and introduced himself. We now know him as James the "Master Jedi" behind the bar. His knowledge, personality, and people skills are off the charts. We ordered the Padron Premium Lager, which was excellent. As an appetizer we had the fully loaded Nachos, which were very good. We also got the wings, which were delicious and came with three excellent dipping sauces: buffalo, Parmesan garlic, and sweet peppers. The place has a great vibe: 5 TVs, 2 pool tables, a basketball hoop, and plenty of board games under the register (Jenga, Buzzed, Forbidden Words, etc.). The bar also has electrical outlets and purse hooks. The restroom was quite clean, although the main hand dryer wasn't working. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager Stephanie, who was very friendly. Daniela, a waitress, was fantastic too she helped efficiently behind the bar even though she wasn't the bartender. James mentioned that they clean the draft beer lines weekly, which keeps the beers tasting fresh and clean. We had a blast and didn't even plan it. No doubt about it we will definitely be back!

A place that's family-friendly, date-night-friendly, and perfect for a group of friends to hang out and have a good time. Doral Yard is exactly that. It's a hodgepodge of several restaurant booths along with a central bar and plenty of seating options. Everyone can order from a different vendor, which I absolutely love. If you're in the mood for sushi, your kid is craving Spanish food, your significant other wants a burger and fries, and your parents are in the mood for pizza -- there are so many options for every palate. When I went, I ordered from Poke Kai. I had the Tuna Poke Burger -- crispy rice "buns," raw tuna, eel sauce, scallions, cilantro sauce, spicy mayo, Kai salad, avocado, and sesame seeds. So good! My son ordered two sushi rolls: Mauloa Roll - salmon, cucumber, scallion, crab, fried shallots, and unagi mayo. Moana Tuna Roll - tuna, cream cheese, scallion, crab, tempura flakes, togarashi mayo, and lemon zest. My partner ordered from another vendor called YIP. He had miso soup and Peking duck bao. Of course, I also had to try the drinks from the bar (The Bar at The Yard). I ordered: NOT A PEAR IN THE WORLD ($16) - Patrón Reposado tequila, lime juice, Chile Ancho Reyes, prickly pear syrup, and Firewater Tincture bitters. WATERMELON SUGAR ($14) - Hendrick's gin, lime juice, mint, fresh watermelon juice, and simple syrup. Both drinks were super refreshing -- and one definitely had a spicy kick!
