We stayed in the hotel where this restaurant is and decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing and kind. It was a wonderful experience and next time we are in this area, we will definitely be eating here again.

The Bar Flamenco is the restaurant/bar located inside the Hilton Garden Inn just across the street from Dolphin Mall. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as being the hotel bar for guests who can legally drink an adult beverage. I ate here due to the fact that when I booked at the hotel, I got a hotel voucher to eat their breakfast. The breakfast is standard hotel buffet breakfast fare, but done well. You have your choice of eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereals, bread, bagels, etc. you can have orange juice and coffee served to you as well. The restaurant staff are efficient, moment I came in they took my voucher and got my table prepared and poured me a cup of hot coffee. They came by on occasion to see if I needed a refill. Food was good and I left satisfied. I also took the time to explore the restaurant/bar. It's well decorated and comfortable. Plenty of liquor and has a few beers on tap. Not a bad place to kick back and relax.

We stayed at the Hilton connected to Bar Flamenco. Our server was named Yari, and she was so sweet and attentive and professional. We loved her as much as our breakfast! And our breakfast was delicious! We could see the chef preparing all of our food which was ala carte due to covid. He seemed to be enjoying his work and took great pride in the presentation. It was all very satisfying and would highly recommend!

Restaurant and bar inside a Hilton Garden Inn ..... really ........ It was ok. Columbia server at night was fun, energetic and lively. Too many good restaurants in the area. Walk outside and test the waters.

So after a yelp review of the tapas scene, I landed at Bulla Gastrobar in Coral Gables. A slight drive from the downtown area but proved to be so worth it. Once we arrived we were seated immediately and greeted by our beautiful, friendly and knowledgeable server Melody. After she explained the menu and made recommendations, she offered to course our plates out accordingly so it wouldn't arrive all at once. Five stars to Melody for taking great care of us. Now to the food... We started things off with the pan con tomate with Serrano Ham and manchego cheese. Although this is a staple of tapas dining in Spain I had never tried it and was impressed with the depth of flavor and the different notes that it offered. It was excellent and I highly recommend it. Next was the gambas al ajillo which are broiled shrimp in a garlicky pepper butter sauce. These were also excellent, so much so we ordered another batch, Then we tried the Albondigas which were Pork and beef meatballs, with manchego, tomate sauce. These were good but proved to be our least favorite of everything we tried. Next was the datiles rellenos which were bacon wrapped dates with a small salad. These were very good Lastly we ordered the Serrano ham croquettes which came with a wonderful fig jam. These proved to steal the show. Hands down 5 stars! Because it was happy hour until 7pm, I got a Spanish beer (Mahou) and a wonderful glass of Malbec for $6 each. The total bill for all this before tip was $112 which was well worth it for an extraordinary meal with great variety. I highly recommend this restaurant!

From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. Cheers to the team for creating such a spectacular experience!

The menu contains all types of tapas so we ordered the Galician Octopus and their cod croquettes to start. The octopus was very tender and tasty, while the star of the meal were the croquettes very creamy interior without the strong fish flavor. For the main entree we ordered their black ink paella which included chucks of seafood. The rice unfortunately was very bland to the point we had to add some salt on our own. For dessert we ordered the torta de Santiago which is a sweet almond pie. Very disappointing very hard and it was not as sweet as we would like. The waiters were really nice and always attentive but the food just didn't meet our expectations.

We had open table reservations so we were seated right away...the hostess was was very friendly as were our servers...we started with one guy but then we had another lady soon after. We ordered drinks to start...Pinot grigio for me and Corona for the hubby. We looked over the menu a bit and started off with 3 shareables..the eggplant with honey, shisito peppers and octopus gallega...The eggplant with honey was an interesting dish (in a good way) and very tasty...they peppers were good as well but my husband wasn't a fan of the octopus gallega. For the 2nd round, we ordered another round of drinks and then the pan con tumaca, manchego croquettes and octopus in garlic sauce. I loved the toast with tomato "jam" as well as the manchego croquettes...I would re-order both of these. My husband wasn't a fan of the octopus in garlic sauce as he felt it was a bit too salty. He also ordered another dish, the seafood salpicon and this dish he really loved! For dessert we opted for the crema catalana...similar to a creme brulee...it was good...I also had a latte which was a nice accomplishment to the dessert. After dinner we headed to their Hidden Speakeasy (behind the pantro door). In there we each had another drink to end the evening. They do have a food menu in there which was different from the restaurant. It would be fun to just come with a group of friends and chill for a while. All in all, a tasty meal and a fun date night!

There's a Speakeasy too that opens at 6. Serving traditional Spanish tapas we enjoyed our dishes. Salpicon de Marisco - Calamari, scallops, shrimps, octopus, fresh peppers in a nice light red sauce. Pulpo a la Gallega - Paprika seasoned octopus served over potatoes. It was tender and delicious. They have nightly specials and Wednesday is half price Paella, so I know I need to try this. Also, can't wait to check out the speakeasy, our server told us it's behind the door marked Pantry and they serve some great craft cocktails and lite bites.
