Unfortunatelly, our main waiter, charged us for bread and for hot water. which all restaurants dont. He told us that is written in the menu, as we are suppose to read all disclosures, if there is a charge they always mention, he didnt. We would looking for a Argentinian restaurant during Mother's Day and of course we did not make any reservations. So after searching we came across Los Parrilleros located in Doral. The interior game me a lot of memories of the old school Latin steakhouses I used to go with my grandparents from the dim lights and classical Spanish music. The servers were also very welcoming and quick with the orders. We decided to order their grilled platter which consisted of two types of beef steak, chicken breast, blood and chorizo sausages. All the meats were juicy and bursting with flavor, with the biggest standout was exceptional chicken, and the sides included roasted potatoes with Rosemary. Unfortunately, this place didn't make it for me. The space is small and the tables seemed crowded against each other. The chairs on our table kept hitting the chairs behind them, and we were against the wall so we couldn't make any more room. Two tables were right by the front door and every time the door opened you can feel a strong surge of hot wind. The place is dark, the bar is tiny, and there's a meat display counter next to the bar. The service is ok as long as it doesn't get busy, then they just want to serve you and get you on your way. The food was ok, but one of the dishes ordered was the lobster that was under cooked and another was the lobster ravioli which had over cooked ravioli pasta. The desserts were ok, but nothing to really brag about. I can't recommend Los Parrilleros at this time. read more

The meat from my appetizer literally fell off the plate onto the table as it was being delivered. The waiter giggled, put it back on the plate, served it to me, and walked away. He came back several minutes later as if nothing had happened. When I pointed out that the meat had fallen off the plate, his only response was, "You don't want it?" I said no, and he took it away no apology, no explanation. They never brought a replacement. When my main course finally arrived, the chicken breast was overcooked, half a breast split into two pieces. Somehow, they couldn't even get that right. Honestly, after seeing how casually they handled food that fell off a plate right in front of me, I completely lost my appetite. It makes you wonder what happens to food that falls on the floor in the kitchen when customers aren't watching. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, there was only 1 table there so I guess our service was attentive. The server was very nice allowed me to order a smaller portion of food from the kid size menu. Food wise, this is VERY Mediocre. We ordered a steak, a beef carpaccio, and kid size menu pasta with chicken. Everything just taste so bland. It was not tasty but it's not like bad cooking. We decided to reserve this restaurant because we have wanted to try it for some time. We made a reservation for my brother's birthday. I went in with high hopes but things went downhill very quickly. It was about a group of 12 with 2 kids. Our reservation was at 6 pm. There was nobody in the restaurant just us. We were seated and began to look at the menu. I the meantime we had to wait for more than 1/2 hour for the bread. Unacceptable!! There was nobody in the restaurant and they knew we had a reservation they should have been ready. The service leaves a lot to be desired. My guest had to drag information out of the server. He proceeded to tell us they had no churrasco. SERIOUSLY we are in an argentinean steakhouse. That is their staple. I could not believe that. How are you not going to have churrasco. Some of my guest had to eat something they really didnt care for. The prices are also on the high side especially such bad service. At least if the service was good I wouldn't complain. When it came time for dessert they had no creme brulee, no cheesecake. Another disappointment. We did see these desserts on their Facebook page. We order the crepes which were horrible. I was very dissatisfied and dissapointed. I've had very good meals here in the past, but not today. I just had the worst veal franchaise ever. It was thick, soggy, and lifeless, sitting in a gelatinous goo. I would have enjoyed a frozen microwaved dinner more. I could not eat it, and the waitstaff was too busy to notice. For $450 (4 persons all in) I expected more, especially for a special meal on Easter Sunday. My wife's petit filet was very good, as were the sausage appetizers. Went back w friends was very good . Had a ribeye and was pretty good . Wish it was a little thicker but it was filling. Great mushroom risotto and love their bread and butter delicious. Entrana w fries is also very good . Service is attentive and empanada and chorizos are good . The only good thing about our dinner was the sangria. The parrillada for 2 had meats that were flavorless. We asked to substitute regular Argentinian sausage in place of the morcilla (blood sausage). They forgot so brought out another 2 Argentinian sausages that were not only bland but undercooked. The mollejas (sweetbread) were so overcooked that they were crumbling and falling apart. It's a tidbit overpriced but just deal with it because it's good and they know their steak.after you eat here, do not plan on being productive. The food coma will hit you. I've dined here about 4-5 times and have always enjoyed it. I wish they had nicer glasses to serve their wine in though but that's just me being boojey. Normally this place is so good. I've been coming here for about 3 years since it's close to work. Anyway, I asked for a medium steak parrilla platter and it was RAW. Not medium rare... no. Raw. I was in front of a client and had to hold my composure but it was gross. Our food was also cold. It had been waiting to be picked up at the window for a while. I'm extremely disappointed. I went on vacation to the Miami area a few years ago. I was debating on moving to Florida and going to school at FIU. At the time I went I was currently attending JCCC in Overland Park, KS. I was studying Spanish and my professor was from Argentina, I respected him and learned a lot from him. Nevertheless, while I was in Florida I decided to try this Argentinean Steakhouse, and it was great! The food was exceptional, the staff were friendly and pleasant, the environment was quiet and relaxing. If I lived in the area I would surely take a date here. My martini was perfect! Finally! Big and beautiful and cold. Appetizer of escargot was soso, I was not impressed. Bread basket consisted of these delicious pebetes, nice and warm. My parrillada for one was very tasty but a little skimpy on the vacío and the tirita de asado was good but mostly fat and little meat. My husbands churrasco de entraña (skirt steak) was just the right size and delicious. My friends ordered the tostones rellenos for the appetizer but it consisted of two very small tostone "cups" with seafood. Not exactly what they were expecting at all. For dessert we ordered the panqueque (crepe) with dulce de leche. However I was disappointed that there was only one (I'm used to getting 3), and it was a little chewer than it should have been but still tasty. First time visit on Father's Day, just glad my dad was happy with his food. The place is cozy and small but I was somewhat disappointed with both food and service. As soon as I get waiters that do not actually write down orders I get nervous, and it usually doesn't fail as it was the case here. A drink was missed, one of the food orders never came out and one of the meats was almost ordered to the incorrect doneness. It also took too long to even get our drink order to begin. It just seemed like service was very slow, water not being refilled either. There were some positives like the seafood soup, morcilla, and bread as well as the branzino. Their specialty is grilled meats and they're pretty good but not great. The meats were cooked a little inconsistent, I ordered a snapper which was not cooked through and tasted off. I was not charged for it but would much rather have had a nice piece of well cooked fish instead. They don't have much of a selection for sides, mostly focused on potatoes three different ways and vegetables which were actually all good. For dessert I definitely recommend the chaja which is one of my favorite desserts. Not sure if I would revisit. read more
