Fortunately I found just the items of interest and at a great price. Moreover the folks there were all literally warm and welcoming. Sometimes spirits places make you feel like a burden but not here. The place was very clean and well lit. The last thing you wanna do stuff with Aron in the dark, trying to read labels on wine bottles. It was so great actually that I turned back a bit later and came back for follow up business. I take customer service seriously. Money talks and I like to support businesses that treat me well with my business. This place had a personal feel with competitive pricing and I'm here for it.

There were two young men working and they were both super nice and welcoming. Walked around the store to take a look and they have a large selection of all your liquor, wine and beer needs. Wine Technology was one of my early morning classes so I pretty much had wine tastings before breakfast on those days. The class was great. They taught us about fermentation, how to taste wine, how to pick wine, how to understand the labeling, and much more. I'm not sure if FIU still offers it, but I would take it again. Crown Wine specializes in wine and they carry a wide variety of high quality wines. Great wines don't have to be expensive and Crown Wine still has some for under $10 or close to it. I'm not saying that Crown Wine is the most affordable. They likely are not. But they offer a very good variety with reasonable prices if you can pick them. This store is pretty easy to navigate. Each aisle has its wine sorted by country.. and then each subsection sorted by region. It's very easy to find what I'm looking for and then compare prices. Crown Wine also offers 2-hour wine tastings for only $10 if you purchase online (saving $5). The tasting can include 40+ wines and gourmet munchies. It's all listed on their website by date, hours, and location. It's much more affordable compared to the well-known and popular food and wine festivals down here. So my advice is to learn a little bit about wine. No need to spend a bunch of money on it.

I went in and told a woman who claimed to be ( the manager )( dark hair , piercing and heavy black makeup I ) if I can park and do a quick blood test and come back and buy the usual 10 cases of champagne / she said no. I came back after exam and asked her for her name and email where I can complain , she refused to comply. It used to be a nice shop. She ruined it . I don't recommend going there to be treated badly. I do hope the owners read this and put a stop to her bad attitude as it is ruining their business. I will never go there again

PS A few weeks after I went back to buy cheap wine for sangria and the owner approached me, we talked for a minute or two about the incident and at no point he apologized or attempt to make it right. Instead he said that I was arguing for $5 which neither me or him needed. That's NOT the point after all. It's about honoring an offer and costumer services.

There's another one in dear ol' Miami Lakes. Anyway, this store opened up around a year ago and I always meant to go but never did. Finally I had the chance, or rather the occasion, to do so.
