For the first time I went to Grove liquors on 2991 SW 32nd avenue I have met with 2 people there Juston & Zanna. Those 2 are fabulous starting from their greeting, their smile are contagious. They are so proud of helping you understand the liquors what to mixed and everything. They went beyond their expectations to make you feel good to shop. During this pandemic I have found myself picking up some seriously mediocre bartending skills. But regardless of my skill level, I still need supplies. When I'm not ordering wine via Drizly, I am stocking up on spirits at Grove Liquors. The store is small, but well stocked. They are taking social distancing precautions seriously and allowing only a certain # of people in the store at a time. I have found all the things I need here, and the service is friendly, too! A solid spot that I've frequented many times while making a liquor run in the grove. They've been around for a while and fortunately they never run out of business due to its perfect location. There's plenty of variety here and the employees are really nice and go out of the way to help you find something specific that you're looking for. I like the wine selection because it's solid. They have a little bit of everything which is why it's such a popular spot to make a liquor purchase at. It's a few bucks higher than your regular liquor spot but that's the Grove, dude. I like that I can pull in here and make a quick purchase without taking up so much of my precious time. I like finding something new every so often and their cooler makes it easy to buy chilled drinks ready for immediate consumption. read more

Store policy: everyone that comes in the store, even if your not going to consume or purchase must show ID. My boyfriend and I walked in on a Friday night to get wine (which I wasn't going to drink as I don't drink red wine) & when we went to pay they asked for both ID's. I've never heard of such a policy. Not sure who made this up. Skip this headache overall and the overpriced wine....Not worth the trip. Way better customer service one minute away at the flanigans liquor store. read more

One of the very best places for prices and selection outside of the non-commercial brand offerings around Miami. An example, Bombay Sapphire was on sale for $22.99 a bottle while Publix was $17.99+ for a half bottle. Worth the trip for spirits. read more

Dear Grove Liquors, I have to admit, like Hannah said, you're a beautiful new addition to the Coconut Grove area, and had I still lived in the 'hood, I would have been ecstatic to call you my neighborhood liquor store. We stopped in here on our way to a friend's birthday bash on the beach. Realizing that we should stop for our bottles before crossing the bridge, we soon saw Milam's, and right next to it, was you. We parked and came in, not sure what to expect. I found it rather interesting that you were having an alcohol tasting with a police officer right inside watching the front door. It actually made me NOT participate in the tasting because it felt too much like a set up... But I digress... We needed to grab beer, Grey Goose, and JW Black Label, so my honey and I split up so we could start locating everything we needed. The store isn't that big and everything was pretty easy to find. Luckily for us, both the vodka and the scotch were on special that day, and we got each liter bottle for about $28.99 + tax, which I guess wasn't too bad, but then again, not too reasonable either. I've usually been able to get each of those on sale at other stores around $25, so your sale wasn't that much of a sale. As Hannah also stated, there's not really a beer selection here as you rely on Milam's for that department, but hey, you're owned by Milam's, so I guess that separation is OK. There are lots of mixers, the service is great, the staff is friendly, and overall, you are A-OK. Whenever in the area, this will definitely be my go-to liquor stop. A new liquor store is always a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and this one is no exception. Grove Liquors has been a long time coming, and I'm glad it did. Right next to Milam's Market, it makes for one stop shopping. This place has a terrific selection of wine & liquor. Not beer or cider so much, but apparently the reason is that Milam's carries plenty of beer varieties. When I asked about hard cider, the guy told me they had it next door (Milam's). So, just keep that in mind if you're looking for beer, they just have the basics here - Bud Light, Coors Light, etc. Lots of mixers, too, and really friendly service. The lady was telling a customer that they're taking suggestions from local customers on what they'd like to see here, so be sure to tell them if you have a fave you want to make sure they carry! Pretty good prices, and they offer specials on a regular basis. I took home the specials sheet, so I can stock up on liquor when I have some extra $. All in all, a great new addition to the Grove area. read more

The selection of bourbons is great. I have stopped at numerous liquor stores to ask for Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and no one seems to carry it except Grove Liquors. While I was there, I also purchased bottles of Evan Williams Single Barrel, and Jefferson's Very Small Batch. I had to stop myself because there were so many bourbons that I have been wanting to try. I will definitely be coming back for more Buffalo Trace, and a few others to try. read more

Good prices for the area, especially for the specials of the week. Usually pay $25 for Leblon Cachaça, but they had a great special on it for $20. The staff is pretty friendly and their liquor selection is pretty extensive. I will be coming back here for sure. read more

With the great selection of wine and beer offered at Milam's next door, I only find myself coming here for liquor. You'll find whatever you need here from brandy to vodka. Yeah, they've got wine, but nothing noteworthy. They also have beer but just a small little cooler and nothing I couldn't get at a grocery store. Indeed, the other day I was specifically looking for the mini-kegs that fit in my "Beertender" and it was a no-go. Hopped next door and found three different types of mini-kegs. So -- if you're in the neighborhood and need some rum for your party punch, this is is your place. I had always liked this store until my experience yesterday. I bought a $60 bottle of scotch and $55 of bourbon. When I got home and went to open the bourbon, I realized the wax seal had been carefully placed back on the bottle but it wasn't actually sealed! Double check your purchases here before buying or, best of all, go to a different store. It is really a shame as I like their selection. read more

It probably would've been easier for me to buy black tar heroin on the street than it was to purchase a bottle of liquor from this horrific facility. I went in to buy a bottle of vodka. I am 22 aka the legal age required to make such a purchase. My friend and sister were also with me. My friend is 22 as well. When I went to buy the bottle, the woman said that since my little sister was with me I couldn't purchase it . So, I went outside and returned in the store with my mother to buy a bottle. We were then told we couldn't purchase the bottle because I had come in before with my sister and she didn't have an ID on her.... I'm sorry what? Absolutely ludicrous and just plain STUPID. I don't know why the manager of this store likes to do role-play and pretend to be a legislative body and re-write the rule of law, but it is illogical and foolish. Definitely will be taking my business elsewhere and advise everyone else to stay away from this sad , scary , odd store ! The manager was unfriendly and couldn't even explain herself to us when we questioned their stupid policy. Sad ! read more
