This cozy little liquor store in what looks like an old house on the corner on South Miami Avenue (just off Brickell) has been my spot to pick up beverages in the Brickell area. I've always been able to find a great selection, whether wines, sake or rum. The employees I've dealt with have been pleasant with recommendations and gift wrapping. My most recent buy was a couple of bottles of Santa Rosa Moscato for a friend's get-together. The cashier made a pretty good recommendation and even giftwrapped the bottles. Wow, what a selection! I was surprised how big this store is as I walked in and went from room to room. They have a lot of liquor and wine here, even beer. Lots of Moet, including Dom Perignon. Yes they have liquor, but they are often out of the basics, their costs are more than ANYONE and the employees are nasty. No one is helpful. Go to The Wine Bank on the backside of The Plaza. It's a 2 block walk snd will save you 25% at best, and everyone will help you! read more

Probably the best located liquor store in Brickell. It's a shame that they have such poor customer service. The cashier guy (Asian like 5'5") got offended because we asked for red cups (as if it was strange to sell red solo cups at a liquor store) Started making offensive/ smart comments He also tried to explain the difference between a happy hour and a tasting He was probably having a bad day, can't blame him, but customers shouldn't pay for his bad day. Never coming back to this place as there are plenty of options where to get liquor from in Brickell and no need to be treated with alcohol I strongly recommend you to stay away from this location if you are the type of people who likes to be treated with respect. read more

I really wanted to love it but the price points are out of this world. Veuve costs $69 and you can buy it at places like total wine for $45. It's is my favorite champagne and I don't think I ever paid more than $60 for it (at the store). I've lived around the corner for a long time. When I asked the sales person what's up with the prices he simply said the rent in the area is going up so are the prices. Well the delivery fee at total wine is $10 .. just saying. Before I go on about the bad about this place, I'd like to let you know the good first. If you do live in or near Brickell. Might be going out in the surrounding area this place does have one of the largest selections of liquor and beer that I've seen in a while. Not to mention at a pretty decent price for the area. That being said who I think is the owner (has been mentioned in other posts before) the short Middle aged Asian guy. Was working the night I went in to buy a $35 dollar bottle of whiskey. I checked my card the next day as I did go out for A couple drinks with friends earlier that night to make sure I was charged correctly. Just a notice that I was charged $56 more than I should've been at the liquor store. I called the liquor store today to ask about it and he denied it. I walked into the liquor store less than 30 minutes after my phone call and showed him proof, which is the only reason that he went into the system and realize that he charged me for another bottle of wine. After waiting there for 30 minutes and arguing with the gentleman he finally gave me my money back. PS HE GAVE ME NO RECEIPT. Check what you're being charged when you go to this place because you never know if it might've been a slip of the finger or might've been on purpose? read more

The location is premier and both the wine and liquor selection is the best around. Being open until midnight is huge, considering that Publix's liquor store closes by 10. Although their beer selection could be larger (maybe they are planning on selling a better variety of beers, as they have an underutilized walk-in fridge right now), the beer they do have is great. For example, they sell a Wynwood Brewing IPA that no other liquor store around Brickell sells. Support this business so it stays open. The spot it's in has had a ton of turnover; let's not let that happen this time. read more

I bought a bottle of Casamigos, sold for $85 (completely up charged) from A5 liquors and it almost completely froze. Something is not adding up..... and all they said was "then unthaw it". read more

WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD IN A STORE!!! DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED TERRIBLY I'm a local and have lived in brickell for two years now. Instead of walking all the way to publix, I stopped here thinking wow this is so nice. I politely asked the employee (asian male) where the wine was, after naming a couple wines my friend asked me to pick up for her ,he said "You're just naming regions, you make no sense. " He then walked off cursing -"PEOPLE ALWAYS TRY TO BE FANCY & THEY HAVE NO F'***ng clue, PFFF STUPID GIRL" I never experienced this in a store or in my life period. I immediately walked toward the exit and saw him again I said "Actually you're right I have no clue I am just buying wine that my friend wanted for her bday , you're very rude" He gave me the worst look, Pushed himself by me almost knocking me over so that He could leave the register area. While exploring the Brickell area, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon this liquor store. This store has a wide variety of liquor and very well organized. Harry the owner was fantastic! He's super friendly and knowledgeable about all his products for sale. Safe to say I think my boyfriend made a new friend in Miami and we will definitely stop in to say hello next time we are in town.
