CVS Pharmacy is a chain retail store that sells prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as other health products, hygiene products, cosmetics, cleaning products, foods and beverages, etcetera. My husband and I shopped here one time. We purchased candies, soda, deodorants, a razor, and more. The prices were high compared to other retailers' prices. The razor was locked up, so I had to ask an employee to get it for me, and she promptly did so. We used the self-checkout, and we experienced no problems with the machine during our scanning and paying. Because of the high prices, I definitely would not recommend shopping here frequently, but the store had what I needed. read more

The CVS/Walgreens by where I live said they do NOT cut out French passport photos (but can take them), but I vaguely remember taking passport photos HERE 10 years ago as it is a couple of buildings next to the embassy and back then the embassy directed me here because my initial photos did not meet the criteria. I couldn't recall any other details regarding cutting photos and such, SO-- -- I called this CVS before I needed the passport photos to verify if they do cut them. Lady on the phone said "yes as long as you come in before 9:30am". I asked again to verify, she gave me the same answer. I arrive before 9:30 the next day, and the lady at the photo area said they do NOT cut the photos. This lady at least did not seem visibly irritated when I did not move forward with taking photos and found a different place that did cut them. ULTIMATELY, if you are reading reviews for the same reason I was-- as of August 2025 the French embassy HAS A CUTTER AND ACCEPTS WHITE BACKGROUNDS! 1 star based on THIS experience. I was better off not getting my call answered so I would have skipped going here in the first place. So do go and get your passport photos taken here for $17.99 for 2 photos OR! To save some $$ instead, Create your own passport photos using those photo-adjuster-to-passport-size websites, get on the CVS website to upload then print to 4x6 size, USE A COUPON, pick it up, then VERIFY THAT THE SIZE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS (in my case, the face needs to measure a certain amount within the photo). The French passport photo size would have made 8 photos in that 1 4x6 print and cost .25 pre-tax with the coupon. CVS at 1201 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33131, scammed me today, December 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Last week, when I went to pick up my medication, Dexlansoprazole 60mg, at Walgreens at 200 SW 13th St, Miami, FL 33130, I paid $82.57. Since I thought it was too expensive, I walked to CVS at 1201 Brickell Ave, Miami, and asked how much it cost. They told me $40.00, so I went back to Walgreens, returned the medication, and got my money back. I went back to CVS, and the woman who had offered to charge me $40.00 told me that they would get the prescription from my doctor from Walgreens that same day and fill the medication themselves for $40.00, and I agreed. Since a week passed without a response from CVS, I called and spoke with a man named Lex who promised to resolve the issue. When more days passed without a response, I asked my doctor to send a new prescription directly to that CVS, as it was cheaper. Today, December 12th, I finally went to pick up my medication, only to find that they initially charged me $223.22. When I realized and complained, they refunded the money and then charged me $82.57, exactly what Walgreens had been charging. When I complained again, they said, "We are very sorry for the inconvenience," but the price had gone up and there were no more coupons. I told them they offered to charge me $40.00 that same day, which is why I switched from Walgreens to CVS. I said it was their fault for taking so long to prepare my medication, that it wasn't my fault the coupon had expired and the price had gone up. I did everything that same day, and I had to pay the $82.57 because I need the medication. The customer always loses, even because of CVS's inefficiency. They just wanted to trap me into a customer. Went to the pharmacy at 945 am on May 31 2025. the pharmacist rolls in at 10:07 with not a care about ANYTHING or ANYONE. I was the first on line but some man cut in front of me and the pharmacist saw this and did nothing. I finally talked to her about my Rx...Prevedent toothpaste. Asked her how long to which she said "30 minutes". I said..."30 mins for toothpaste?" she answered everything takes that long. WHY!?!!? There were 5 employees that day. I said that is a long time and was frustrated. I then said now I have to wait 7 minutes longer bc you were late. She answered in a snarky way" you can go to Walgreens!" Really?? She said that to me?! she is customer facing and should not be. She was late and affected many who were waiting on saturday am. Non-apologetic....attitude.....TERRIBLE. CVS should be ashamed they hired her. I wish I could give her ZERO stars. She isnt worth ONE read more

They should change the name of this store to Out-of-Stock-R-Us. Half the time I come here for an item they are out of stock. They do not discourage vagrants from hanging out by the front entrance. They are not a full service CVS--if you want to get tested for Covid by a pharmacist you are out of luck; home tests only (even though they give Covid vaccinations here). Will start going to Walgreens instead. read more

I have been using this Pharmacy for 2 years it is closest to my residence. The service is for the most part pretty decent. What I do not get is how there seems to be an overall lack of kindness when it comes to just telling a paying customer thank you and Have a nice day! It has never happened at this CVS in 2 years. It is always me that finally will say thank you to CVS staff for letting me spend my money there! This is just basic it should not even require training. Do yo think it can change? Is it possible the business industry can make a difference in this world by taking the lead on a little kindness? terrible relation, as a customer you are pointed without a word to an automated teller and have to understand you must do the cashing job, and beware, this thing is watching you : a miniature video of yourself is put in front of your eyes. So you know there is no messing while you are performing this task. then the machine spits coins at you in a metal dispenser. pick up your change and get off. NEEEEEXT !!! meanwhile, two or three employees are still watching you. Trust, but not too much. this is a gloom view of what CVS greed prepares us soon. boycott these places. CVS Brickell was open 24/7 even on Easter... However, the CVS Pharmacy hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm and closed on national Holidays. It's convenient and carries more merchandise than let's say a 7-Eleven. They had registers and self-checkout. Friendly service all the time. I liked the diet & wellness section best at this CVS store... However, there's a CVS nearby in the greater Los Angeles area. So I didn't lug anything from Miami to here. But that location was better stocked with product variety. Idk if CVS Brickell's location was the bottom of a condominium or office space... However, they installed a portable ramp for handicap, wheelchair bound and senior citizen usage. It looked shabby, but it was strong... I felt it necessary to do some running, jumping, rocking and shaking of the portable ramp. It was strong... Noisy, but strong. And I actually saw a woman in a wheelchair use it. She wouldn't have been able to have gone shopping at CVS without the portable ramp. Little blessings produce big results. Maybe, a permanent ramp installation like at the USPS Brickell would happen in the near future at CVS Brickell. read more

This is the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been to . If this wasn't the pharmacy I had to use with my insurance, and it wasn't around the corner from my apartment, I would never come back. The pharmacists and staff are SO RUDE!! I'm not a person that yells or is inconsiderate in any way, but to be spoken to like I'm asking for something unreasonable to pick up a prescription that they texted me was ready, is unreasonable. They will text me incessantly and call for 3 days and then when I go to pick it up, it's out of stock. Or they put it back, or I waited too long, or they're closed. I can't even get a straight story as to if it's there or not, and when I offered to wait they told me it would be an hour and a half. I've been coming here for 8+ years, and I'm not shown the slightest bit of courtesy. CVS needs to clear out the entire staff of this place because they have horrible attitudes and can't perform the basic functions of their job. read more

Hours of Operation for the pharmacy are not 24 hrs. Wish there was a pharmacy with 24 hrs in the heart of Brickell. There's always a lot of construction near this CVS and it's certainly outdated but I never have issues getting my prescription mid-day and it's pretty speedy process. read more

The cashiers were very friendly to me and even wished me luck on my business trip and were sincere in listening to my concerns about covid. Good: All the items I needed are available. Staff are helpful and seems to be doing their job. It's close to my hotel. I like the fact that there is a person managing the self -check out counter, yes, some dont! Bad: Some of the staff have this "why are you bothering me" attitude. This particular cvs is small. The Pharmacy Technicians at this CVS are curt and rude to the point that basic manners, such as using 'please' and 'thank you' are not vocabulary they use. They don't even make eye contact, just yell 'next'. Also, they claim to be open 24 hours, but close down every Holiday Weekend! Went to pick up my meds this Memorial Day and the Pharmacy was closed. When I went back the next day, they told me I took too long and they put the meds back. I do not mind so much fighting for a parking spot (hardly any parking) or putting up with the dust of never-ending construction (I have been living on Brickell for 10 years now & this CVS has been under construction) as I mind being barked at and treated like a nuisance! read more

I love drugstores. There, I said it. And wherever I travel in the world, I like to stop in drugstores. (Imagine what fun it is to pantomime feminine products in Madagascar). They've almost always got anything you need for a last-minute travel essentials. And if you are like me, traveling with just a carry-on, it makes more sense to buy some liquids and essentials AFTER your arrival than to pay $25 for a bigger suitcase. DUH. What I bought: Dramamine, bandaids, chocolate. A tiny shelf of books, so don't come here if you need reading material other than trashy magazines. Open 24 hours in case you wake up at 3 AM with a nightmare about something you forgot to pack. read more

I've never once had any issues here, even when the meds are out which is beyond their control; however, you have a couple outstanding employees. Claudia the pharmacist, no matter what she always has a smile on her face and goes above and beyond to try and help her patients as best she can. Please do not let her leave under any circumstances. A wonderful pharmacist and kindhearted person in general and Mauricio is another hardworking tech. I personally know how grueling the hours and work load can be at retail pharmacies and these two handle it with efficiently and most importantly, with a their passion. read more

Most disorganized CVS pharmacy I've ever encountered. They rarely text you when a prescription is ready for pickup, unlike other CVS's, so you have to call and encounter long waits. For some prescriptions, they haven't had the medication in stock for months but kept telling me "next month," when they should be realistic about whether the patient will get it or not. Will say a prescription is ready for pickup and then I go and it's not. Would not recommend sending your prescriptions here. read more

I'm anxious and nervous every time I have to interact with the pharmacy at the Brickell location. These people are unorganized, negligent, uncaring, and I really have to find somewhere else that accepts our insurance. They simply don't care about the patients. I'm reading all of the other reviews which are spot on with the lack of quality customer service at this location. I've been reading the reviews and the complaints are the same for 3 plus years. Is it because this is a large company at a central location, that corporate won't bring in people who are more professional? A CVS in Brickell and it perfectly fits the norm. Drinks, food, a pharmacy - yes, same old, same old. However, at least I can say that the cashier who attended us was quite nice. Oh, and this CVS provides a slight reprieve from the insanity of parking at Brickell. Not much else to add; we only stopped to get some essentials. read more

Really good beer selection and it's open 24/7. I don't think you can get a better price in downtown. I got 2 24oz cans of Miller lite for $4. Definitely the best price on Brickel. Stuff member was happy to help me since I needed cvs card to get a discount. Great service and prices for beer. I did not buy anything else. read more

The pharmacy here is horrible they never have anything in stock and anytime I've ever gotten a prescription they make me wait afterwards before they actually hands me the prescription to speak with a pharmacist set the pharmacist can like debrief me on my medication even though I've been taking the same medication for many years. I think its the only pharmacy in brickell that is conveniently located. I never had any trouble with staff! They always helpful and they are nice. They have travel section which I like. Also, they have a photo booth which they can do a quick passport photos not the best but convenient. read more

This 24 hour location has been closed for 2 days with no notice. There's always a terribly long line and maybe 1 or 2 cashiers open. The automated checkout machines are always broken. There's been a huge leak in the ceiling by the registers for months. Basic grocery items are frequently sold out. The location is small and crammed for the amount of people that come here. Pharmacy staff is the only Good thing about this location but closes at 8pm on weekdays so good luck beating the clock after work. I only come here because it's walking distance from my apartment, but would advise to avoid coming here at all costs. They seriously need to close this location down and open a larger one nearby. read more

I live next door practically and have used them often. They usually are very friendly greeters when you walk in the door. After that it goes down hill especially if you're trying to find something specific. Today I asked about bug spray I couldn't find and was pointed to the "back of aisle 10" I walked that aisle a number of times and then another one with itch relief. Couldn't find so asked the associate to point it out. As she reluctantly walked away from what she was doing she went to where she pointed me to, and on the way At the tail end of the aisle I saw the spray. I advised her and she huffed past me singing whatever was on the loud speaker. So she had a general idea and her "back of the aisle" and her finger were pointing in different directions. It happens though so...... Her attitude is what bothered me and at the front checkout counter I asked to speak with a manager. I was told "why?" and I just asked again for the manager. "I need to know more"; I said "it isn't about you and it's nothing you can resolve", she said I still need to know and again I asked for the manager. she called on a headset and after I finished my transaction I waited a few minutes and a person who might have been the manager walked past me with a drawer full of money. A whispered conversation between the two of them and the lady walked to what maybe was a safe or whatever. Nothing said to me who was standing there. A few minutes later I said to the clerk "I guess it's not happening huh?". She said the "manager is busy right now" pointing at the woman with the cash drawer who didn't acknowledge. I thanked the clerk and walked out and am here now typing this. Moral of the long story, in general, unfortunately, in Miami you can run into some terrible customer service. This store represents that to me in an area that is the financial district and has a lot of apartments. I had thought about moving my prescriptions here but will remain with my current, further away, CVS. Not the biggest deal in the world but I detest rudeness. read more

This is your standard CVS in Brickell. It's located on 13th St and Brickell Avenue in the bottom of an office building - quite convenient as this is a main intersection. Things I like: They have self service checkout counters! Speeds up the process to get out of the store quickly :) They carry general drug store merchandise: haircare, skincare, pharmaceutical products, greeting cards, snacks, beverages, et al. Why three stars? This CVS is perfectly average. Could use a little interior upgrade, doesn't always have the widest selection of products (i.e. didn't carry my shampoo brand), line at checkout can sometimes be too long -- but overall is completely satisfactory for any drugstore needs! read more
