Been desperately looking for a place in south Florida to find a solid BEC (bacon, egg & cheese) like how they make them in NYC. Tried a lot of places that have failed me. Found this place on google. Convenience store with lots of options such as wines, clothing, deli to choose from. They have boars head products so you know it's legit. I met Mo who convinced me having a BEC would be close enough to NYC after I expressed my frustration with not finding great breakfast sandwiches. He shared his father is from Brooklyn and how long the deli has been here. I did a BEC on a Kaiser roll. It was good but the roll wasn't a Kaiser roll and more like a hamburger bun. I tried it the next day on a croissant which made a big difference. Good price. Good sandwich. I've found somewhere finally where I can get a solid BEC. Parking might be hard to find bc it's by a condo complex. Service was great. If it wasn't for Mo I prob wouldn't have stayed and tried it out. read more

A bit overpriced but nice looking (ignore the poster-plastered exterior) & badly needed convenience store & deli popular with the apartments and condo towers of Park West in the retail portion of Park Place by the Bay apartment tower (and no, it's not even by the bay). They stock everything here - bathroom stuff, ham, cheese, noodles, pasta, milk, etc. It's probably the best stocked small grocery store / convenience store / deli in the area (especially considering that most of the similar stores of the same type in nearby Overtown across the railroad tracks don't carry as many things as this place does - and I've checked so you wouldn't need to go to Overtown for no reason - be thankful for that!) A word about Overtown: Overtown is an extremely shady black American neighborhood that wishes to see the heydays of its past being the Harlem of the South. Today it is well known for being a haven for drug addicts unfortunately. Lately though, it has been trying to clean up its image. And I also must admit, the people there were friendly when I visited in the daytime with black American friends. Closes everyday at 2 am. I knocked off a star off of "average" because of the smell of smoke inside. Blech! read more

Sooooo... This is a neighborhood spot, on the edge of hood and up coming. This is a family owned and operated shop. They are tough with nonsense and take EXCELLENT care of their locals. I have known the family for 7+ years and they are wonderful. They provide all the basics at normal cost and ALWAYS have fresh produce for emergency cooking and entertaining. Yes! Talk about convenience! I happened to be heading out to the club and needed a view things prior to going in and as I drove around downtown Miami I couldn't find nothing like this corner store and low and behold! Deli view! Life saver for sure! The thing that impressed me the most is that I came up to the door about 5 minutes after closing which was 2AM and the guy working happened to be sitting by the door and waved me to still come in! Courteous much? I'd say so! There's plenty of parking but going this late you will find that most of the people who are going to the club have parked and walked! All in all great experience! This is a Family Business. Very convenient location and hours. Parking is very limited, considering they are located in a condominium, the residents and visitors usually use this parking lot. Therefore a quick stop may take longer than expected when you have to go in circles several times looking for a parking spot. Another thing, parking is NOT free. And if you try to be sneaky, you'll get a ticket. Lol. Ok so the products sold here, my luck, they are not fresh. Also their products are over priced. If you are driving, I recommend you to just drive a little further towards Biscayne Blvd. There is a brand new CVS. Or towards Bayside Marketplace. There are 2 walgreens and 1 cvs in that direction. Over the years this place has change I've been coming here often and there is hardly any smoking. Every one knows how to talk proper English. There sandwiches are fantastic and they make them really fast. Costumer service is great. You go in then your out. Has every thing you need even frozen foods and drinks etc. It also has variety of beer and wine.
