My friends and I stopped in Margot at about 7:00 on a Friday night. We were seated at a cute 4 top that included a wraparound couch bench. I'm glad we came when we did, because there wasn't an open table when we left at 9! We ordered the "El Burro" Malbec from the Maipu region of Argentina. If you're not familiar with natural wine, or wine in general, the servers are knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, this was our nightcap stop so I didn't get to try their food. Of course, to end the night we had to get a round of espresso martinis. They had a great foam top, real espresso, and weren't too sweet! The ambiance inside Margot is amazing. Modern, clean lines, soft colors and wood, it is trendy while still feeling comfortable. I'll be back soon for more wine and to try their food menu!

Ugh I feel like this place is Miami's best kept secret and I love it so much. The location itself is so cute, cozy, and the ambient lighting is 10/10. The menu is vast and will definitely have something for everyone's palate. I have only been for drinks but the food bites all sound (and smell!) delicious. We usually just sit at the bar for a few glasses before going out to dinner and the bartender is always friendly and attentive. This would also be a great spot for a girls night and there's typically always sitting available. Big fan of Margot. Highly recommend.

Downtown's coziest spot for a date night or girls night. Super cute wine bar in downtown with beautiful lighting with hues of orange, purple, pink and warmth overall. You can enjoy wine by the glass or bottle as well as a few food options. I enjoyed the grilled cheese which I would highly recommend and we had a bottle of wine recommended by our server which was great. Music is a bit loud but otherwise great atmosphere and look forward to my next visit

Margot, a snug haven in the wine realm, embraces you with its cozy, dark charm and an array of tantalizing tapas-style delights. The service here is not just good; it's a masterclass in wine wisdom. I embarked on a vinous journey with their wine flight, indulging in red, white, and the adventurous orange wine. The red and white stole the show, while the orange wine, well, let's say it's an acquired taste. Now, onto the culinary symphony: the Summer Melon and Jamon, and the Burrata were revelations of deliciousness. The only hiccup? The tables playing hard to get - a tad too small for the gastronomic affair. This is my second rendezvous with Margot, and the love affair continues. Proximity to home is a bonus, making it a go-to spot for a wine-infused escape. Here's to Margot, where every sip is a story, and the tables might be small, but the flavors are grand. Cheers to cozy wine adventures!

Living in the Downtown area, I love finding hidden gems around the area. Margot Natural Wine bar has been on the top of my list and I'm glad I finally got a chance to check it out. Upon entering the colors, atmosphere, and the interior is all so welcoming. So aesthetically pleasing and such a vibe. Their menu has a selection of small bites and a variety of different wines and cocktails. I tried a few of their cocktails and they were all delicious! The butterfly sangria was my favorite. We ordered a few tapas to try but none of them really wowed me. I wouldn't go there for the food but rather for the drinks + vibes.

Love this little intimate spot in DT! The staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to their wine. It definitely has a hipstery feel to it, which is a nice break from the normal Miami atmosphere. Their wine list is extensive, but last weekend when I popped in they were out of SO many bottles. Thankfully the servers are quick to recommend alternatives, and even charged us for the less expensive bottle (that they were out of). It was a bit hard to get the servers' attention, and they seemed to be having trouble with the air conditioning, but overall was a great experience and I would happily come back!

Margots natural wine bar is a hidden gem in downtown Miami! The surrounding area needs some sprucing up and you might be put off by this but don't let it!! The bar itself is beautiful and has a large selection of wines/ good food. I've been getting into natural wines lately and the large selection of natural wines and knowledgeable servers definitely won me over! Love it - definitely check it out if you are in the area!

Been eyeballing this spot since before it opened and finally made it. Nicely decorated and definitely a grown folks vibe, which I have learned to appreciate more as I've gotten into my 30s lol. Pretty wide selection of wines to chose from, our sever recommended one that was outside of the regular red-or-white selection and did not disappoint! They also got a few cocktails and bites by 27 restaurant, we had the salmon crudo and which was a nice choice. One thing to note is that there aren't that many by-the-glass options so it's best to go for the bottle - if you're on a dolo vibe I'd probably ask about what they got open at the bar for the night or hit the cocktails (which I have to go back and try). Great first run and looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely stunning interior - perfect for intimate gathering or date night. Really enjoyed 70s music and decor, and the wines we tried by the bottle were exceptional.

I was at the Van Gogh exhibit, and I was hungry. But my friend didn't want to walk around to find the place. I wanted to go to the taco place in the same building, but she didn't want to eat tacos. So, we decided to try this place. They had a happy hour menu but not many choices for food. We order the drink from the happy hour menu. The beer was $5, and the glass of wine was $8. My friends had prosciutto and mustard. I tried sardine Bahn mi. We enjoyed the food but the portion was small. I guess we didn't know this place was a wine bar. A hole-in-the-wall place, but the atmosphere is chic and cozy. I wouldn't go here to eat but to grab a drink with friends.

Such a fun vibe! Music is great. The night we went they had flights available, I'm not sure if that's all the time or not. Liked the wine so much we got two extra bottles. Great time with friends. They have great bites too.

Cute little place with more wines that you can count! It's the perfect place for a girls night or a cute date. The wine bottles start at $60 (approx) and go all the way up to $120+. We had a bottle of pro seco that the bar tender recommended which was off the menu and it was really good! We also got a few plates to share and I have to say that my absolutely favorite was there figs! OMG this one was amazing!!

I've been visiting a lot recently, and even joined their wine club which offers two curated wines a month. Locally owned and operated, I feel really good supporting a place that the owners put so much effort into to offer such a gem of a spot for locals. I've tried a lot of wines here, and I'm always amazed at finding something new to me that I enjoy. If you haven't been, it's the perfect place for a date, a girls night, or a day for yourself. They also have good snacks and charcuterie for you to munch on while you drink vino. Don't know much about wine? No problem. Their team will point you in the right direction and they have something for everyone. This is an approachable wine bar- they want you to enjoy the wine as much as they do and I love that about Magie. This spot has a nice indoor space and a beautiful outdoor area. They also have a sister location in the Grove.

There is a parking lot right on the side of the building, but if that lot is full, there is also street parking, and parking across the street in a lot behind the Citadel. The service here was great! All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. The set up of the lounge is also very cozy. There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. Overall this place has a great vibe to it and I heard they host events every so often. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice space to chill with some friends and enjoy a nice spot in Miami.

The first location in the River is better imo because the location is bigger, there is plenty more seating than the Grove location. Although, I still enjoyed my time at this location as well. Sooo how it works is that you go inside and pick a bottle of wine from the fridges. You can also order by the glass if you aren't a big drinker or if you want to try different wines. The bottles are moderately priced depending on your selection. We chose an orange wine and it was nice, very refreshing, you can really get that citrus essence with every sip. Another thing that they have is that you can pick different cheeses and meats and they will build you a charcuterie board. I love this because it is all based on your selection, nothing will go to waste. They also have food you can order. A lot of people love the nuggets with caviar. I think they are decent imo but I'm not like in love with them. Parking can be a bit annoying... If there isn't street parking, you can also park in the garage. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The only thing that was a hassle was getting a table. We had to wait a bit in order for a table to become available. Overall, this spot is a very cozy place to hang and mingle with friends.

As others have stated, Magie is good in concept and we'll likely return here, but with just a bit…read moremore effort on their part this wine bar could be so much better IMO. Unlike some other reviewers that scoffed at the prices of the wine, that didn't bother me so much. We had a bottle here that cost $55 and it retails for about $28; I was OK with that, as all restaurants and wine bars have a markup above retail, and even when you go to spots like Happy Wine or El Carajo and pick out a bottle to drink while in their shop, they charge a corkage fee for that. What I did have a problem with is that, after the "service charge" and other fees were added on, our $55 bottle rang up to more than $73 in total, which was ludicrous. When we first arrived at Magie we were met by a young guy who pointed out the bottles and where the various charcuterie items are located in the coolers, and we were then pretty much left on our own. We really just wanted a glass of wine each, but unlike places like Vinoteca, here at Magie they had a very limited selection of wines by the glass, and the ones available all seemed to come in single-serve cans. We picked out a bottle to share, went to the register, paid and the guy opened it and handed us 2 glasses. When I returned to get napkins, the guy just motioned to where the napkins were so I could grab my own (after moving a delivery cart out of the way by myself so I could reach them). Again, though this place includes an automatic "service charge", we received zero actual "service" unless one considers the 45 seconds it takes to uncork our bottle and charge us for the purchase. We had a seat, had a glass of wine each and then re-corked our bottle of wine and took it with us. Overall I think Magie is a great concept with lots of potential. The inside seating area is interestingly decorated and outfitted with lots of eclectic furniture and items on the walls, and the relatively large patio seating out front with tables for 2 to 8 people is shielded from the adjacent street/traffic and shaded by lots of trees and greenery. The ambiance overall is really very nice. The service, however, was non-existent, especially considering the automatic charge for that, and while prices of at least some wines aren't terribly out of line, the fact that all the service charges, taxes and fees added $20 to the cost of our bottle was a bit of a shocker. Magie should consider adding more wines by the glass IMO. Not just subpar quality single-serve cans, but decent wines, poured from a proper bottle with a topper that preserves the wine between pours like most every quality wine bar commonly offers. Lastly, while I don't think anyone expects linen napkins and white glove service, the paper plates and plastic cutlery customers are given to eat with are a bit off vs. what this place appears to be trying to be and the prices charged. The "F*ck Brunch" positioning statement on the back of the staffs' shirts was an interesting touch.

For food, we ordered several dishes to share: The Marinated Olives which i didn't try these because I'm not an olive person. The Bacon Wrapped Plantains which was such a unique combo, and surprisingly delicious. The Local Burrata which was absolutely delicious. I've never met a pan con burrata I didn't like. The Manchego Croquetas were my absolutely favorite. manchego is one of my favorite cheeses, so I already knew I'd love this. They were out of the yuca bravas, so we couldn't try these but they sound phenomenal. And we couldn't chose what desssert we wanted so we went with all three. The flourless chocolate cake with icecream, the key like tres leche and the guava tiramisu. Alll delicious !! And lastly , i have to highlight Thalia, our server. She was exceptional!
