I went for taste of Gables and did not realize the final World Cup game was still on. So taste of Gables was not available and the place in full celebration and community mode. I loved it! The staff were lively and personable. It was sooo hot and someone rented out the small inside portion. But we actually got a breeze here and there and were seated in a covered area. We had ham croquettes, Waygu with potatoes, wings, NY strip, pissen drink, shot of lychee vodka, and champagne from a shooter. Everything was so good. The setting was nice and I like to return on a cooler night or even to indoor seating. The restroom is in the indoor portion and I was nicely surprised to feel the AC worked great even with the slide glass door kept open.

i really like this spot specifically for happy hour! we love sharing little plates. we got the steak, truffle fries, bacon wrapped dates and croquettas. the ambience is so cute, service was very friendly and attentive as well

Our server, Jolene was amazing! We went with our party of 20 on July 29 and she was very attentive and friendly. We ordered many drinks and food during our time there. I highly recommend her!!

Awesome happy hour and beautiful roof top. The door to access the area is right next to sweetgreen then you take the elevator upstairs. Hidden gem!! Drinks and apps were out of this world. *tues-sat 5-7pm HH*

I have passed this spot so many times. Thought I would give it a try ! The seating is really nice outdoors. Service was great . The drinks were refreshing . The food was okay. Definitely a place just to nibble at not have a full meal. . I would back here again ! Good to enjoy some breeze. First rooftop I have seen in this area .

Absolutely loved everything about this rooftop bar. This time around it wasn't very packed and service was pretty good. Sat at the bar area, bartender was very attentive and made a delicious Espresso Martini. Ordered some tacos and ham croquetas with guava dipping sauce which gave it a delicious touch. Love coming to this roof top for a chill night out.

Always a great time at Cebada. It wasn't my first and it won't be my last. Amazing selection of food, drinks are fire and the service is always great. Would definitely take a date here or friends visiting from out of town which is what we did!

The best rooftop in Miami. I've been here several times over the years and always had a great time. Their food menu is truly elite and I haven't ordered a single thing that wasn't delicious. Had my wife's birthday party here this weekend and the service was incredible. Everyone went out of their way to make sure it was a special evening. The music was perfect and the entire vibe of the night was great. Anytime I'm out in the gables and want to have some drinks at a bar with a great view and some tapas, cebada is the best option.

Somewhat spacious rooftop to enjoy some great weather days. Although it is sweltering hot these days, they have enough fans and mist machines to make it pleasant. Their food and drinks are good and their happy hour is great with $10 cocktails that are unique and delicious. Great place to come with friends after work.

Came here on Saturday night and had a great time! I initially walked by the entrance without noticing. It's right by Coyo Taco, it's a little door to the left. Then you take the elevator up to the second floor. The restaurant itself is really spacious and the vibe is great. There's some covered/inside seating and then there's outside seating. I ordered the "This isn't town" drink and it was really good. I enjoyed it and would order it again. To eat I ordered the corn ribs. I will say I thought from looking at pictures that they were like off the cob but they're not!! They still have the cob on them (hence the name rib I guess I didn't realize that) so just know this might not be the best dish to order when catching up with friends because you have to eat corn on the cob while talking. They were tasty regardless and everyone else in my group liked their plates as well. I would definitely come back here. The music was great as well and not too loud so you can talk and hear others. The bathroom was clean as well!

Nice and chill rooftop. Service was great and fast and waiters were friendly. Food came out very quick and was delicious. Lots of plates are shareable! Charred octopus was good! Loved the pizza, it was so tasty. Oysters were also very good. Cocktails weren't too strong, but still tasted refreshing. I would come back again!

If you are looking for a cute rooftop bar in the Gables, this is a great place to check out! Be on the lookout for the entrance as it's on Giralda right next to Coyo Taco, where you go up an elevator and arrive at Cebada. The bar is very spacious and has a nice view of the gables. Some of the drinks for happy hour were batched but they were all still yummy. I did not get to try any of the food items but I have heard from others that they are very good. Our bartender was very friendly. Overall a very cute spot to check out, I will be coming back!

Full transparency: I LOVE Cebada... like, LEEETERLY LOVE IT. A friend & I decided to meet for happy hour this past Friday. We arrived early with no reservation & decided to sit at the bar. I immediately ordered one of my favourite cocktails here, "EVERY BELEN GUYS CHRISTMAS VACATION" (Cucumber + Ginger + Honey + Lemon + Breckenridge Gin) & it was still as perfect as I remember it! Our bartenders, Danny & Gio were great although we never did get the Skinny Spicy Margaritas right (first round had waaaaay too much Triple Sec) and the second was very flat. Not crisp & tart & tequila-forward). As for the food, we first chose the "Wood Roasted Shishito Peppers", "James River Oysters", "Tostones y Caviar" & the "Marinated Olives", all brought out at lightning speed by our delightful waitress, Chanel. Best dish by far were the Tostones!!! What a great play on caviar-topped potato chips & french onion dip. YUM! Least favourite were the peppers. They were all shriveled & flavorless. They were like eating plastic wrapping. Nope! Sent back. While this was FAR from my best dining experience here (they've removed TWO of my favourite dishes from their menu: the amazing Roasted Cauliflower & Roasted Brussels Sprouts-- womp, womp.) it's still one of my top spots. You can't beat the vibe! Great music, great service & great ambience. Like always, ¡Fue tremenda descarga!

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

Each visit has been great. It's a really cozy, welcoming place, with walls of wines of varying price points. The wine by the glass and snack/tapas menu is perfect, and if you are interested in having one of the many bottles that they sell, you will find knowledgeable help in identifying something you'll enjoy (and maybe something you haven't heard of before), at a price you are comfortable with.

They sell bottles of wine, imported olive oils, lots of (mostly European) wines by the glass, and light bites like charcuterie, small pizzas and popcorn. We've come here a few times, our dog was welcome, staff were friendly and outgoing, offering us various tabletop games like tic-tac-toe to pass the time, and once we'd both ordered a few glasses of wine, they offered us complimentary popcorn - something they normally charge for. Wines on their "by the glass" menu average about $16 each, and most staff pour them behind the bar where they have a gauge to measure out each one. The food prep area behind the bar is quite small (which is why they don't have a large menu), but so is this little gem of a wine spot in general. It's cozy, eclectic and great for a glass of wine and a small snack, or a nightcap after having dinner elsewhere. It's good for singles at the bar, or an intimate spot for couples and smaller groups. Vinoteca seems to have found their niche, and they've filled it quite nicely. That said, I'm not sure the staff, at least the ones working on the nights we've come, have a lot of knowledge about wines or are in the position to talk at length about their various selections.
