Cute, colorful, and vibrant spot at the pool on top of Mayfair House hotel! There are tables with umbrellas and views of the skyline and bay as well as a bar. I ordered fries and shrimp ceviche with plantains. The shrimp ceviche was a huge portion and was flavorful. The fries were also a large portion. It wasn't busy when I was there but servers were friendly and attentive. Only recommendation I have is better to go boxes.. cardboard box wasn't the best for to go ceviche. I would not return just for the restaurant but a day pass at the pool in conjunction or staying at the hotel, definitely worth checking out!

Really good rooftop/poolside bar. We purchased a day pass for the pool here through resort pass and were very happy with SipSip. My Cesar salad was so good and I loved the lettuce they used. My friend ordered fish and chips which she said was very good also. Service was a little slow even though we were one of a few people up there during the day. My drink was very good but not strong, so I wouldn't come here looking to get hammered lol. Overall though, a solid rooftop on top of the hotel. I don't think I would go out of my way to come here, but it's definitely a nice perk if you book a day pass for the pool!

Nice for a poolside bar, drinks were decent. We got the lychee spritz and dot dot dash. Latter was more fun. Not the top bar in the area but if you're staying there it's decent for a poolside bar. Service was a bit slow.

This rooftop is located in the Mayfair hotel in Coconut Grove. It is easy to get to. The place is such a vibe. We went during sunset time. It was beautiful. The menu was on point. I wish I took more photos . But I was so caught up with the location . A stunning place to watch the sunset . The prices are usual Miami prices with gratuity added. Nicest rooftop in coconut grove. Perfect spot for a catch up with a friend or a date. Definitely coming back here !

There's nothing better than a rooftop pool/bar area, especially with a view of the gulf! The aesthetic is a whole island vibe and really makes you feel like you're on a five star vacation (even just for a couple hours). The cabana beds are a great option for private lounge seating, and the pool is the perfect size for the space. SipSip also has a full drink and food menu, and tried the fish dip, ceviche, and even the beef hot dog was divine. It's certainly not somewhere you go just for the food (probably more-so the view and the rum), but for bar food the options are pretty expansive and I can appreciate that.

I worked at Sipsip while staying at the Mayfair. The service was excellent and attentive, I was even able to connect with our server over our New York routes. I got the Island Chicken Skewers and the sweet chili glaze was the perfect amount of spice for me. I loved the views from the rooftop, you can either see the water or Coconut Grove depending which way you're looking out. I would definitely recommend this spot as a midday remote work station. The Wi-Fi is great, it's not too noisy and you get to enjoy beautiful views when you look up from your email!

If you're looking for a great rooftop bar in Coconut Grove, Sip Sip Rum Bar is the place to go! The view is fantastic, and it really sets the perfect vibe for a relaxed afternoon or evening out. We ordered a couple of drinks, along with the traditional Caesar salad, chips and dip, and the blackened mahi sandwich. Everything was delicious--the mahi was perfectly seasoned, and the Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. The chips and dip were a perfect snack to go with our drinks. The vibe here is on point with tropical and reggae music playing in the background, giving it a laid-back, island feel. Service was friendly and timely, and the meal came out just as we expected. We definitely enjoyed our time at Sip Sip and would absolutely return next time we're in the area/staying at the Mayfair Hotel!

Beautiful roof top bar with a pool and a great view, accessible from Mayfair house hotel and gardens. Little patch of paradise with very attentive staff. Would recommend if you want to unwind and relax by the pool.

Fantastic little spot on the roof top! Excellent drink options not just rum although that's their thing. We also ordered the shrimp cocktail and ceviche. Really delicious. The servers were attentive and made some dang good cocktails. I may have had 1 too many.

Great rooftop with yummy drinks and apps! Great service too! My favorite was the frozen pina colada!

Secret, top, top secret place. The Rooftop bar at the Mayfair. Classic Polynesian cocktails, mai tai, zombie, et al. First class all the way, great service great drinks. They have a great raw bar, have a snack, have a drink a little closer to heaven in Coconut Grove.

So happy we got to take part in this Yelp event at the Sip Sip Calypso Rum Bar! I have been wanting to visit the Mayfair in Coconut Grove for the longest time so this was a perfect venue for me. The vibe was friendly and fun, enjoying the ground floor level of the hotel with drinks and appetizers before the weather improved and we took the party upstairs. The views of the ocean there were amazing! The bartenders and servers were great, bringing us all kinds of yummy dishes and mixing excellent drinks - my favorite were the fish tacos and the margaritas. The DJ was really good too. All in all, a great Yelp event, thank you to Farah and the Yelp team for making this weeknight extraordinary!

I took advantage of their 4 course $60 dinner special (not listed on their website but offered every day, including weekends) and went with the Caesar Salad, 14 oz skirt steak, fries and flan. Each dish was very good, the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the fries were crispy and good, and the flan was probably the best I've ever had. I enjoyed a very good glass of Malbec reserve with my meal. La Cabrera also offers a $39 lunch special. Ambiance was charming and the service was also very good. A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.

Unfortunately, they sat us in the most uncomfortable table and chair set up in the restaurant. In the middle, they have these very short tables with uncomfortable stools and chairs that make dining awkward. Not to mention, that two of these tables are so close together that my friends and I were bumping elbows and touching the backs of the other dining guests in the table right behind us. And, to make matters worse, we not only had to be in an uncomfortable and tight space with the guests behind us, but we had to endure their yelling almost in our ears the entire time because the music in that restaurant is extremely loud. Music can be loud, but it is to the point where you cannot even hear yourself when speaking or you can only hear the other guests yelling. Suggestions to restaurant management, get rid of the awkward, short tables and chairs, or ask guests when they're making the reservation if they want to sit in that type of setting. Also, you may want to separate those type of tables and stools because they are WAY too close for comfort. And, consider bringing down the music level a few decibels.

We came for brunch on Saturday and there was a wait time, which is expected considering it's a popular brunch time, so it was totally okay. However we were sat not more than 10 mins after putting our names on the waitlist, which was great. This place is BEAUTIFUL, it is also HUGE, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, both offering a really nice ambiance. We sat inside and loved the decor and vibes. Our server was very nice and fun. Service was great and the bussers and servers were very attentive. We ordered scrambled eggs with Gruyère, one with a side of baguette and another with an everything bagel. The potatoes were the star of the show, they were perfectly crispy and so well seasoned. The eggs were a bit underwhelming and had a little bit of an odd aftertaste but they were still good. We loved both the baguette and the bagel. We also had a side of bacon which was super flavorful but could've been crispier or fresher. One of the things to highlight were their prices, which are extremely reasonable and just amazing for the area and quality of the food. This is such a great find! Can't wait to go back and try other dishes. Their french toast looked incredible! 10/10 spot.

Before going, we called the restaurant to ask if they would be showing the World Cup games, and we were told they would be showing all of them. Based on that, we expected a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There aren't enough TVs, many of the views are obstructed, and we actually had to move to the bar just to see part of the game. Even then, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear the match at all. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that ownership's instructions were to play music instead of the game's audio. That was especially surprising considering this is a Mexican-owned restaurant and the match was a Mexico World Cup game. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. To be fair, the restaurant was only about half full, so this wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed by a packed house or unusually heavy demand. I was there with two female friends. I ordered a martini while my friends simply asked for water. The bartender reacted as if asking for water was somehow an inconvenience. We weren't even served chips and salsa until we repeatedly waved down members of the staff and specifically requested them. The bartenders consistently ignored us. My friends waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back so they could order their martinis. We later ordered guacamole and the Leña skirt steak. The guacamole arrived promptly, but the steak never did. When we asked another bartender to check on it, he looked in the system and told us there was no food order entered at all. This was unbelievable because the original bartender had described the dish, asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and appeared to take the order. He simply never entered it. When we complained to the manager about the missing food, he told us the kitchen was already closed but that he would "make an exception" and have the steak prepared for us. That response really upset me because this wasn't us asking for special treatment--it was the restaurant trying to correct its own mistake. I told him to simply cancel the order. He then said not to worry because he wouldn't charge us for it, as if not charging for a meal would somehow make up for the experience we had just endured. I declined the offer, but he responded by saying he would bring it anyway and that if we didn't want it, we could just leave it there. To me, that response was even more dismissive and completely missed the point. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were inattentive, dismissive, and consistently rude. Their attitude completely overshadowed what had always been one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove. By halftime, we had simply had enough. Instead of continuing what should have been a fun night, we decided to leave the restaurant and go home, where we watched the rest of the Mexico match in the comfort of my home. Sadly, that turned out to be the best part of the night. I'm writing this review because I know Koko is capable of much better. My previous visits have always been enjoyable, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, if you're planning to watch a World Cup match there, I would strongly recommend choosing another venue. While they may tell you they'll be showing the game, the viewing experience is poor, the game audio is replaced with loud music, and based on our visit, the service was, without question, the worst I've experienced there since the restaurant opened. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because Koko has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I'd like to be able to recommend it again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I simply can't.

We had a seat at the bar where our small dog was also welcome, and each started with a cocktail, then ordered the parrilla special to share. Everything was very good and we managed to somehow finish it all aside from 1 piece of steak, so not bad. We were offered a digestif of limoncello or dulce de leche. We chose the limoncello and it was the perfect end to our meal. Overall the Parrilla Tuesday special is a great value IMO and since their meats are grilled in a charcoal fired Josper Oven, they were very flavorful and perfectly cooked.
