Sabrina's Carpenter Espresso Martini best drink version + creamy Baileys

Travel around The Globe without leaving Coral Gables! I'm not a cocktail fan, but have to admit that this bar knows how to shake it. Starting with an Aperol Spritz and Negroni on the rocks ! The Aperol wasn't too sweet, and the Negroni had a very summerish classic taste...both top notch! As the first round of cocktails was so good, I had to go for a Moscow Mule because it's one of my favorite drinks. Mixed better than I have ever tried before...EVER...and this is because they used the best liquor, Canaima Gin! Finally, I was delighted with the very best Espresso Martini I have tried in my life. So creamy, smooth, and strong coffee vibes, perfectly blended with vodka, hitting all the right tunes... yes you thought it right, just like Sabrina Carpenter's summer classic hit, Espresso! The girls at the bar were super patient as the place was packed and they never took the smile off their faces. The lounge bar area has an Italian style, another reason why you feel as if you were in another town. Thanks to The Globe for making our travel drink-tasting session chic and within the comfort of Coral Gables!

We attended a bridal shower and I hadn't been to the globe in years. It looked amazing. The food was delicious. I wish I had taken pictures of the appetizers. There were empanadas that were absolutely delicious. I loved the sweet potato ravioli which should speak volumes since I don't like sweet potato. The drinks were also great and the amazing bartenders could literally make anything asked of them (and make it really well). The Globe, apart from having live music and dinner, also offers the space for events during the day. I can't wait to go back for a live show and to try their other menu items!

Went for lunch, super nice atmosphere! The drinks and food were comparable to their price. The bleu cheese salad I had was to die for! Incredible and highly recommend!

My favorite hangout in the gables! The drinks are delicious and the service is amazing! I come here for my lunch break often or on Saturdays they have a cute jazz night! My favorite server is Sophie she's super quick and memorized my favorite orders! Highly recommend the franks bolognese!

We went out for Happy hour tonight. When we got there before 6 pm, it was empty but all the tables were reserved. Only tables outside were available. My friend had a table reserved for us and we were able to sit together. By 7 pm, the place was packed. I was a bit nervous because no one was wearing face masks. Drinks on Happy hour were limited and only appetizers were 20% off. We had beer, wine, and pizza. Pizza was bit greasy but my husband liked it. The music they had that night was like South Beach type of music which we didn't care for. I don't think we will go back unless we are meeting our friends.

Delicious food, and immaculate service every time I visit! This go-around I had the Danny Caesar Salad and it simply amazed me. Loved the taste, freshness was on point and steak was cooked to perfection. Come for the food , stay for the service and atmosphere!

Finally made it here and had a nice experience. We stopped by for a quick bite and beverage and heard a little blues from the piano man and met some really nice people. Our sever Lorie, was wonderful and provided excellent customer service while sharing with us other events that take place during the week and weekend. We will certainly be back! Thanks Lorie and The Globe staff!

what an absolute gem of a bar/restaurant in coral gables. Food is delicious, fresh and well presented. Also great value. A great choice of wines, cocktails and spirits. A beautiful place with friendly and attentive service. Highly Recommend!

Came here on a Saturday night for drinks. They served us quickly and efficiently. They had a live band playing music and the service was great. It appeared to be a bit slow that night, but it's a good place for a relaxed evening with friends.

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

The restaurant is nestled within the back of the on-site building and you get the vibe as soon as your eyes glance to its entrance. As you're being directed to your table, it feels like you're in Spain and dining in a Spanish wine cellar. The decor is beautiful and the food is authentic Spanish. I'll put this place up against the best NYC Spanish restaurant, any day. I started with a glass of Red Sangria and it was SO GOOD! Served with lots of fruit, this drink was smooth and I had to remind Esteban, our fine Server, to not remove my fork, so I can enjoy the sangria smothered fruit, afterwards. We started with Ham Croquettes and Meatballs. I cannot commend these appetizers, enough. The croquettes were exquisitely soft, the outer breading was thin enough that it wasn't crunchy, and the seasoning was delectable. The meatballs were just as good as the croquettes and that sauce was mouth-watering good. The entree just kept getting better. We shared the Churrasco entree (Angus skirt steak and grilled vegetables). The steak was already sliced, the meat was succulent, savory, and a dream to enjoy. The vegetables were lightly charred and were just as devine as the rest of the items. If you're into Spanish food, please give El Carajo a chance to satisfy your appetite. The experience my partner and I had at El Carajo was absolutely disgraceful. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we were not welcome. After being seated, we were completely abandoned. We sat at our table for over 12 minutes without a single employee acknowledging our presence. The waitress actively ignored us, completely bypassing our table to serve other parties who arrived after us. She never came over to greet us, never offered us water, and never took our order. It became painfully obvious that this absolute lack of service was not an oversight, but deliberate discrimination because we are a gay couple. To be treated like we were invisible and inherently unwelcome in a public establishment is deeply hurtful and completely unacceptable. The environment felt hostile, and the blatant prejudice we experienced ruined our evening. We ultimately had to leave without even ordering. Do not support this establishment if you value equality, respect, and basic human decency. They do not deserve your business.
