Great happy hour menu! We tried everything but the oysters on the happy hour food menu and everything was delicious! The short rib tacos and grilled olives were my fave!
Great happy hour spot for cocktails and mocktails! Apps were good too! Parking behind the miracle theater is always convenient and our service was great! I highly recommend the white Negroni with mezcal my date loved it!
I finally tried this yummy place for happy hour on the weekend! We started at the bar while we waited for our table and the bartender was great! We were there for happy hour on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not busy. I ordered their white wine on the happy hour menu and it was very refreshing! Once we moved to the table we ordered oysters on their happy hour menu and they were refreshing and delicious! The ambiance was modern and minimal. The service was great and the restaurant has a good amount of tables both inside and outside but I suggest making a reservation in order to guarantee a spot! Check out their specials during the week! They offer deep discounts on bottles of wine!
We went with a group and sat outside with perfect Miami weather. My husband got the black risotto that came with shrimp, mussels, scallops, calamari, and something called laksa sauce. It was delicious. Most of us ordered the chicken Meunière which was an enormous serving of chicken cooked with lemon, herbs, mushrooms, sautéed potatoes. Needless to say, I had the most delicious lunch of leftovers the next day.
Came back for the Oysters and they did not disappoint. Over all it was a lovely experience however I did find that the food quality was not as consistent as the first time I came here. The octopus starter was delicious with its romesco sauce and charred yuca. The short rib was perfectly cooked. The Tar Tar left something to be desired as they provided one wonton crisp that was stale. The carrot cake while promising also showed signs of not being fresh as it had a dense crust that only comes with not soaking a cake and putting it in the fridge. Once we soaked the cake it was fine but not what I expected when the server presented it as the best dessert on the menu. Service was overall great, our server was attentive and calm proving genuine service. Still recommending this location for their overall ambiance but I'll be sure to stick to the favorites next time:
Restaurants in Miami can feel like that meme that goes, "This is what people think I do; This is what I actually do." However, Vinya Table is the real deal. They take the wine bar description seriously. As opposed to wine bars that just put small tables inside a wine store, Vinya Table has the ambiance, decor, attentive staff and menu worthy of its Miracle Mile location. Oddly enough, my first experience with Vinya Table was at its stand inside the TimeOut Market in SoBe. I fell in love with the concept thanks to the knowledgeable Somm who was chatty and passionate about the wine he was pouring. He was a virtuoso in describing terroirs and flavor profiles, so I had to check out the flagship in Coral Gables. I've been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years now, and it never disappoints. Here, I've gone on first dates, caught up with friends at the bar or pre-gamed before going to Copper29 next door. And, every time it's a treat. I think they hire their staff from a casting agency because there are no bad looking people on the team. I'm not saying it makes the food or wine taste better, but it doesn't hurt. They revamped the menu recently, and it feels more tightly edited -- like there's a new intention behind it. The tapas, charcuterie and mains all seem more cohesive with the wine and cocktail list. Usually I see "themed" wine lists like, "bright," "old world," "classics," or "bold" as gimicky and overreaching, but Vinya Table does a better job at this. The fact that they had a well priced Gigondas by the glass, showed their sophistication and confidence in local diners, knowing they would appreciate it. I had two glasses to wash down a somewhat chewy medium-rate skirt steak. I was surprised how inexpensive it was for 10oz., but in this case I got what I paid for. At least my trainer was going to be thrilled to hear I was watching my macros. Nonetheless, I will come back for the terrific wine, lively atmosphere and varied dishes.
TLDR: I'd probably come for happy hour and skip having a full-priced meal here. Food: solid but not out of this world. We ordered the smoked burrata and arthichokes for an appetizer and the gnocchi as a main. Smoked burrata wasn't very smokey, it came covered with smoke inside it, but the smoke flavor didn't make it into the burrata at all, it was just presentation. The pesto was a little overwhelming. The beets were plain. The artichokes were very good, tarty and 5 nice size pieces, with the tzatziki sauce, would definitely recommend those. Gnocchi was different- it was stuffed with cheese! I wasn't expecting that. They were soft but not as pillowy is I've had elsewhere. The sauce is tasty. It might not look like it but I thought there was enough mushrooms for the dish. Service: Great! They let us take our time. They did keep refilling the water which I always appreciate. They provided new plates after our apps for the main meal which was nice too. Wine selection is good, with a variety on the list. It's cool they have a wine shop in the back.
Came here to dine with business associates - fantastic concept of an eclectic retail wine library where you can pick up any bottle at retail price and then pay a $25 corkage fee, which still makes it vastly cheaper that ordering off the wine list, in most cases. So I selected a beautiful 2015 Pugnane Baroloto pair its dry tar and roses with our red meat dishes. But before all that, we had bacon wrapped scallops burnt with a demi glaze and adorned with a sweet prunish paste - what a marvel of a concoction in a small bite sized hors d' oeuvre. Next was an heirloom salad that was surprisingly plain with only red Roma (or garden) varieties and nothing else. Meh. Ribeye was prepared succulently perfect medium rare. Easy to cut and even easier to chew - no sauce or jus required here. Asparagus was an afterthought. The plate needed a starch, however, just a little dollop of mashed something would have resulted in a better balance. Decanting and serving the wine per my instruction plus subsequent pours executed flawlessly. Only thing - speed of service very slow, even by authentic Italian standards. It took forever even to get our entree order in. I think when you open a bottle selected to pair with the entree, the clock starts ticking and you shouldn't have to be drinking the last pour of the bottle when the entrees finally arrive. Clean elegant decor and good spacing between tables so never felt crowded or loud. Perfect place for great conversation and great wine. That's all....
Miami Spice flew by too fast and left me with a long list of places I have yet to try. Decision, decision! I am glad that Vinya Table is a worthy finale. My fellow Yelpies haven't let me down! I love morcilla sausage so appetizer is a no-brainer. The wonton wrapper makes it even better, adding some delightful crunch. Their gnocchi is made in house, each little nugget with some asiago cheese hidden inside. It's like stuffed crust pizza or cheese stuffed anything... you can't go wrong. And oh, the tiramisu!! Lovely presentation with taste to match. The freeze dried berries again provide extra crunch as well as tartness to balance the sweetness. It's amazing how the chef managed to sprinkle these little creative touches to add complexity and flavor to the dishes, totally elevating them to another level... a heavenly level. If you love wine, be sure to walk to the back to check out their impressive selection. Pick one or two to enjoy right here with your food, or take home for another occasion. And don't forget to check out their website for the many tasting events they host - from casual walk around tasting to sit down pairing dinner. They'll turn you into a wine pro in no time!
One word, amazing. I came here with a few coworkers for lunch and we had a great experience. First of all it was during Miami Spice and it was so refreshing to not have to ask for the menu as their Miami Spice menu was already embedded in their regular menu, thank you. We each got a different appetizer to share and for entrees we had the short rib sandwich and salmon. The food tasted amazing and the presentation was great too. Our server was very friendly. The overall experience was on the slow side but we didn't mind since we weren't in a rush. The restaurant is very nicely decorated too and had intimate vibes. There's no parking but there's a parking garage across the street. Can't wait to be back!
Came here for a wine tasting. They had this private upstairs room that provided privacy. The place is very quaint and I would love to come back to try to the food and drinks here. The service was great and the little charcuterie we had was good.
I had heard about vinya before by other yelp elites as well as other friends but had never been. I finally got to give it a try and was NOT disappointed! Vinya is a restaurant located on miracle mile that can be described as modern. There is plenty outside seating to people watch and the restaurant has a nice small inside. The inside is pretty with wine lined up and down the restaurant. The amount of wine in there was insane! But it makes for a beautiful backdrop when eating. When I got there, I had a few friends waiting for me to eat. I ordered their house bubbly that was delish. I then had the lobster fondue for dinner. It was AMAZING! I definitely recommend. My friends had ordered a charcuterie board while waiting and the other had gotten the burger which she said was OUTSTANDING. I definitely want to return. It seems that they have an ever-changing menu which i love. I would love to return and try something else and perhaps have a couple more glasses of wine.
I came to Vinya with three of my friends after a spa day across the street. We loved the ambiance and vibe of the place. It's really clean and perfect for dates and groups as well. We received great, friendly, and attentive service by Jofrey. We enjoyed the short rib tacos, oysters, meat balls, grilled olives from the happy hour menu and the mussels, beets burrata, and tiramisu tres leches from the main menu. Everything was flavorful and delicious. We also tried their Cool Breeze and Mula Naranja mocktails, but very different but refreshing. Absolutely enjoyed them. Vinya has consistently been one of my top happy hour recommendations. I love the vibe and decor of this place and the wait staff is really friendly. It's cute, moody, but not over done so perfect for date night or girls night. All their wines are great and you can't beat the price at $9 a glass. They recently extended the happy hour from 6pm to 7pm which I'm glad!! Now the food - I have never had a bad item from here. I will forever talk about their bacon wrapped dates (not pictured). And this trip I absolutely fell in love with the spinach cheese dip. My one complaint is why does it only come with three toasties? I had to ask for more, which they gladly accommodated me - and the same with the guys next to me. But if you're bringing me a whole bowl of deliciousness, I need more than three toasties with it!!! read more

Pretty good! I made reservations for 7:15 on a Friday night and the crowd was pretty light and only started to pick up towards 8pm. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I went here with 1 other person (table for 2) and after we ordered, they provided us with some free bread and butter. To me, the bread was slightly stale tasting and I was a little confused on why we were given 3 pieces for a table of 2. As an appetizer, we got the patatas bravas which was like cooked potatoes with ham on top, though it tasted similar to pasta salad. It was okay, but I probably wouldn't order it again if I came back. For the mains, we got the vinya burger and gnocchi morel. The burger was very good, I really enjoyed it. It came with plain fries and you could have gotten truffle fries for $3. I wish they would've seasoned the included fries though. The gnocchi was very good and creamy with great flavor. To drink, we got soda, which came in a glass bottle with a glass. This place is primarily focused on wine, which we did not get this time, though everyone around us did. The flavors seemed interesting! The inside is very cute looking with wine everywhere and you're able to see inside the kitchen. The staff were very attentive and made sure our waters were always full and our plates cleared. Overall, I do think it was a bit pricy, but I'd be willing to come back, especially to try some of the wine options. read more

We went to brunch here on a Sunday. Their brunch was great and not full at all for a Sunday. I had the brazed lamb baklava, bacon wrapped dates and the coconut crusted corvina. The lamb baklava will guarantee your return! For dessert, I had a carrot cake that was also amazing alongside my margaritas! read more

Vinya Table is a lovely addition to the Gables. Their happy hour is terrific and with a mellow, jazzy performer on a Wednesday night, it made you feel like you were on vacation. We had the sangria for 2 which was great and on happy hour for $10. We devoured the manchego croquetas, chicharrones, deviled eggs and the bread basket. Angel was amazing - always checking up on us and answering any questions we had about the menu. We will definitely be back for a proper dinner as the food just smelled delicious. Great spot for romantic dinner and/or happy hour. read more

Wow what an amazing time at Vinya! A group of us went for happy hour and loved the drinks, appetizers, staff, and vibe. I tried the strawberry Margarita and chin chin gin....both were deliciously refreshing. The round of apps included almost all from the happy hour menu but the manchego cheese croquetas w truffle aoli and chorizo stuffed dates were my faves. Also ordered some gorgeous charcuterie boards. The Vinya team was super friendly and welcoming. Cant believe I had never been there since it's right on Miracle Mile by the theatre. We're ready for another happy hour soon! read more

Where to start This place's vibe is immaculate, classic and elegant but still laid back, the wooden decor and the wine cellars all over make you feel like you're somewhere in france. The wine selection did not disappoint, I didn't have the chance to eat a lot but their charcuterie was outstanding. We have a lovely blond server take care of our party, can't remember her name but extremely attentive to our needs. I'll be back sometime this week. :) read more

Came here with a couple of friends for SUNDAY happy hour (they have happy hour every day from 3-7pm). They have a spacious beautiful inside with a bar area and also a small outdoor area. There is live music inside that plays until about 5pm. The happy hour menu has lots of choices for fun cocktails and small bites. My favorite drink is the ceci's sangria for two :). We ordered the medjool dates which are SO delicious! The croquetas were tasty as well and the grilled shrimp tacos are their most popular menu item and they were definitely the crowd favorite. Our waiter, Lucas, was absolutely the best! He was very attentive and friendly and recommended drinks and food to us that all ended up being amazing! I definitely recommend this place for happy hour, and their other food items on the regular menu look very good as well! I will be back here soon, for sure! read more

Beautiful venue with quality wine and menu items. They have a great happy hour featuring three wines and an assortment of cocktails. The happy hour also includes small bites that are out of this world delicious. I had the bacon wrapped dates and oysters and man was I happy with my selection. The bacon wrapped dates came stuffed with manchego cheese and chorizo, so good! The oysters were fresh and buttery. The server was not sure if they were west or east coast but whatever coast they were from, they hit the spot. The wine was also very delicious, refreshing and medium bodied. I will definitely be returning for dinner soon. The services also phenomenal!! Very happy they opened up a spot right by my house. read more

Started off this review with saying how delicious the food was! I went with my boyfriend and 2 of my friends + their partners and it was a good time. Service was good and the restaurant is really cute! I give it a 3 stars because I think the portions are pretty small. My boyfriend had to order 2 sides of fries with his steak (additional cost). I also was not happy that they do not split the bill. You can either have one person pay or they split the bill evenly in 4 cards. Overall we were 6 total and they charged a "large party service charge" which I believe is an included tip but I was surprised that they considered a party of 6 large. I was very impressed when I walked in. Not what I imagined at all from Vinya that started as a wine pop-up! The restaurant is very nice inside, basically divided in three sections, bar, lounge and the larger dining area. I liked the menu offering and we happened to be there for happy hour. We tried 3 different HH bites, all delicious! We then had mussels and a burger both with fries. The HH hour red wine was really good! Let's talk about the service...Sara was INCREDIBLE! She took her time with us, very friendly and professional. Will definitely visit again. read more

Cool wine and tapas place recently open in Coral Gables. We went for the Happy Hour . They will have drinks and small bites at a reduced price. I had the Gin tonic which was beautifully presented and we tried the devil eggs, dates and manchego croquetas, all come in sets of two or three so if you're in a group order more than one dish. The bartenders service was very nice. They also have an outdoors area to sit down. Definitely coming back! read more
Haven't written a Yelp review in quite a bit, but 100% feel the need to after going to this restaurant. On Miracle Mile- a very cute little spot. Bohemian chic looking. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and unbelievably flavorful. My sister requested we go here for her family birthday dinner because she had been a couple of weeks prior and loved it. The only thing we ordered that was a little lacking in flavor was the potatoes brava. She loved it last time, but it didn't have enough sauce or tuna. It was still good but was a little dry.. was the least favorite. We ordered the lamb baklava, garlic shrimp, Caesar salad, potatoes brava, rigatoni, truffle chicken sandwich, duck socarrat (UNBELIEVABLE), corvina sandwich, and linguine with clams. A group of four of us went to happy hour at Vinya and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend the sangria for two which is perfect to quench your thirst during these hot summers. The happy hour bites we tried were all delicious; we tried artichokes, tacos, Croquetas and ceviche. For dessert the lava cake was amazing and the presentation was fabulous. Our server, Trent was friendly, professional and went out of his way to give us the best service ever. I want to go back for the Miami Spice menu. Parking is available on the street and there are garages near by also. read more

Attended coral gables restaurant week at Vinya. We were greeted right away and had very attentive service even on a busy night. The wine selection is impressive and their tasting flight is a STEAL! It's $25 for three full (IMO) pours of selected wine. We had the bacon dates (10/10) the Brie pastry (8/10) and the tuna caprese (10/10) . My husband had the beef option which came like tacos he said he enjoyed but preferred my lobster risotto style dish . The pavlova was flavorful and not too messy. Attended a baby shower at Vinya--it was lovely. The staff was great, the venue beautiful, and the food delicious. I'd love to return and sit at their nice bar area. read more

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! Vinya Table is walking distance from my apartment and I can't seem to stop coming back. The wine selection is impeccable - I highly recommend the Chateauneuf-du-Pape or the Hold Your Fire red blend (their sommelier is absolutely lovely and super well-versed). The food is amazing, as well - I recommend getting the starters to split, because you can't go wrong with their octopus, lamb baklava (my favorite!) or the smoked burrata. The service is top notch and it's an adorable place. Highly, highly recommend. read more
The food and ambience were delightfully upscale and really enjoyable in this gables place. We were a large party that came here for a birthday celebration. In spite of the large amount of people, the service kept up with everything. We had a prix-fix menu which they made for us and it consisted us cocktails, entree and dessert. My absolute favorite part of Vinya table is their smoked Rum Old Fashioned. It is very presentable, brought in a cool individual wood smoker, over one large coconut ice cube. I would say the best restaurant that I've tried in terms of flavors, presentation and service.
