We have heard of this place, but never been. We went for a bday and super accommodating! Incase you cannot get a reservation....... Call, it works! Our server was amazing . The Doleris drink is so good, yummmmm, i never get salt on my drinks, but there is something magical in this one! They offer Miami Spice on Saturday's which is a plus! The tuna app and cauliflower are a must do! Never have I had a cauliflower dish served to such perfection. I will go back for that tomorrow. The sea bass was also very tasty .

Visited close to end of brunch and right before happy hour on a Sunday. The fact they have happy hour on a Sunday was already a plus in my book. We didn't have reservations, so we sat at the bar which was just fine. Loved the industrial look on the inside, but omg it was FREEZING in there. Our bartender/waiter was amazing though. We had a couple a drinks from the happy hour menu. I really enjoyed Dolores Street, which was essentially a lychee margarita. To eat, I had the captain toast crunch pancakes and it was so good, even better than I imagined. It's soaked in some sort of cream, giving it a slight tres leches feel. It is VERY sweet so if you don't like sweet items or not in the mood for it, you wouldn't want to get this. My bf and I also shared the BEC sandwich and I loved it. The bun was so soft and pillowy. Little potato sticks added crunch to the sandwich. The egg was really fluffy. The sandwich had a great balance of salt. My bf got the guava French toast. I'm not a guava girly, but appreciated the thickness of the bread and how it held up. Lastly, we had the fries. They were great. They were out of the truffle ketchup which was fine. Their house made regular ketchup was different but good. I left here fat and happy and 110% will return again. The sweet spot for me is getting there or setting a reservation towards the end of brunch hours, so you can enjoy happy hour when it rolls around. It's worth it.

Eating House is the perfect spot for a special occasion or catching up with friends. I had a fantastic experience for my birthday; our server, Marisol, was attentive and offered excellent suggestions. My cocktail, the Black Parade, was unique and delicious--the gin, strawberry, and St. Germain blended beautifully with the activated charcoal. For a starter, the tuna crudo was incredibly fresh, perfectly complemented by the guava sauce and pickled onions. My short rib entree was tender, though the true star was the Tuscan kale with a sherry demi-glace. I have to figure out how to recreate that kale at home! My mate also thoroughly enjoyed the wagyu burger, which was tender and memorable. We finished with the "dirt cup." The combination of vanilla ice cream and cookie crumbles was great, but the hazelnuts stole the show with their addictive crunch. Overall, I had a fantastic meal and highly recommend Eating House.

Great meal at Eating House! Every bite was delicious and service was great. The carbonara was everything a carbonara should be. Loved every cocktail. Really knocked it pit of the park with the Cap'n Crunch desert. Nice vibe and not too loud. Great find on a work trip to Miami.

Omg the Capt crunch pancakes are the devil!! One bite and you can't resist to keep eating it. They are the best dessert like pancakes I have ever had and is a definite MUST!!! We were celebrating besties birthday brunch here. We were a comfortable party of 5. Place is modern and open and in a very popular area of the Gables. We all started with refreshing cocktails and the loaded tots to share. The truffle was definitely a great added touch to the tots and I highly recommend. Around the table was the eggs carbonara, chicken and waffles, and the french onion burger, they were all a hit and bellies were all satisfied. Place just has a great atmosphere for all occasions. Definite spot for any eats and libations.

Had a great experience. Made it on time to get a drink during Happy Hour which was nice. We went for an early anniversary dinner and were pleasantly surprised with some Prosecco. We opted for the pumpkin spice dinner menu which was delicious. Everything was tasty but The Burrata appetizer was the winner. Looking forward to going back. Efraín was wonderful.

What a meal!!! Got to go with friends during Spice and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Food: Fantastic. Vibe: Spot On. Service: Wonderful. 100% the best sea bass I've ever had in my life. We were four people, and since three ordered the Spice menu, we got to try everything. In addition we got the tater tot appetizer. I'm telling everyone about how delicious everything was. I couldn't recommend enough!

    American caviar service

A staple near Miracle Mile in Gables. We started with the caviar dip, and let me just say--wow. It was luxurious without being pretentious, served with perfectly crisp accompaniments that let the briny richness of the caviar shine. It set the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal. For the entrée, I went with the slow cooked Short Rib, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Tender, flavorful, and paired with red wine that elevated the meal exquisitely. Every bite was a masterclass in balance and boldness. The ambiance is effortlessly cool--graffiti art meets modern elegance. The open kitchen adds a layer of excitement, and the plant wall gives it a fresh, vibrant feel. It's the kind of place where you want to linger, sip a cocktail, and savor the moment. Service was top-notch. Our server was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the menu. You could tell the staff takes pride in what they do, and it shows. Whether you're celebrating something special or just treating yourself, Eating House is a must-visit. Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli continues to push boundaries in the best way possible.

I love eating house. The first time I came here a raved about the Brussel sprout Ceasar salad - I had it this time on their Miami spice menu and it's still just as amazing. I love the mix of hot and cold. The short rib was phenomenal. Every bite was good and it could be pulled apart with my fork. And the dessert duty cup is not only delicious but sooo cute how it comes out like a cute little plant. Now a word about the service and ambience. The ambience is cool, they have a dark and moody vibe going on. However, they need to better arrange their tables. We got sat in a back corner, despite making a reservation, and more than half the time we were passing servers plates and cups because it was impossible to get through to us. The service was great, until the end when our waiter gave us some serious attitude. I asked if the check could be divided separate ways and he said no but we could use multiple cards. He said he was going to come back with the credit card machine that way we could just tell him what we ordered and pay. He came back and I told him what I ordered and he said "I'm making an exception this time for you guys". I'm sorry, what exception? You literally just said we could pay with separate cards. He also walked away as I was paying and left the credit card machine sitting at our table. And he was shaking his head "no" the entire time he took our payments. His attitude at the end really put a bad taste in my mouth on the whole experience. TL;DR: great food, pour seating arrangements, service is good but server had attitude over payment.

The ambiance is nice. It's definitely a a more upscale place. The service is phenomenal the waiters were very attentive. The loaded tots were very good and probably the best thing on the menu. The breakfast burrito was pretty good. The ranch they use here is delicious. The Captain crunch pancakes weren't very good. The flavor was ok but the pancakes were burnt and soggy. This place is also very expensive. I'd give this place a 3.6/5

Glad to be back and I'll definitely return. Had the 420 menu with the PG-13 mocktail alongside some friends. Though I don't do wagyu or beef ribs, I was GRATEFUL for the check replacing my beef options for chicken. He could've said no (because it was set menu) but he went above and beyond and that spoke volumes! That part was 5/5. The first three starters were DELICIOUS! Crudo with crunchy chips sprinkled with tajin, the shrimp with the Indian dipping sauce (the pinch of lime elevated it) and the snoop dog (mine was made with chicken). The main entrees were the chicken Parmesan bao bun (my favorite) and the ribs (sub chicken). The chicken was too crunchy but whereas in the bao bun, it was cooked to perfection (needed a little more marinara sauce). The sauce for the "rib" was incredible! The corn and bbq sauce combo was great! The desserts were good, but the chocolate one was way too sweet and no one finished it and there were 6 of us. The ice cream sandwich was yummy, but it would've been better with vanilla ice cream instead of matcha. I know matcha is popular but it wasn't (in my opinion) the right pairing for the concept. The ambiance was vibing with a 420 movie and old school hip hop playing in the background. It was cool and the vibes were great! Lenny, our great server, was attentive, on point with service and delivered excellence. Looking forward to returning. Enjoy!

Great experience! Server was very nice, food was tasty. Had the Taste of the Gables menu, which made it very affordable and a great deal for a 3 course meal. 10/10

I came her with high recommendations to celebrate my mom's birthday. The menu sounded noticing and had good options. We got convinced to do the pumpkin spice menu and to make it for 3 servings. The laugh we had when the appetizers came out... I feel one person could've eaten this. The flavors of the tuna in my opinion did not go well together. The burrata was very good, but again small. The short rib came with the same amount of pieces it would've came with had we ordered off that menu. The ravioli was good but felt it didn't vibe well all the other flavors. The food was good, but like individually. The rolls were incredible and I'd recommend them. Our waitress Marisol was very nice and made our experience enjoyable. I'd come back again but probably would be cautious about the speciality menus.

Turned out to be a good call. While I was woefully overdressed ( t shirt and shirts as I just came off a transcontinental flight) for such a fancy bar in Coral Gables on. Friday night, staff was polite and welcoming. Was treated with respect and courtesy despite looking very WT. Traveling with food allergies is a challenge. The Kitchen was extremely accommodating and was able to modify my food to my allergies and preferences. I ordered the Chocolate Carajillo. Probably not the smartest thing to order a drink with two shots os Espresso at 10:40p but it soup def to tasty and it was! Plus the little chocolate that came with it!! Yum! If they sold those bars... I got the watermelon salad minus a bunch for f stuff: basically just watermelon, cucumber and feta. Thick clucks of cucumber, tasty watermelon chunks and hunks of feta. Yes, please! For protein I went with the double cheeseburger minus the bun and mayo and without the side order of fries = gluten free. They have a GF bun but I rarely eat a bun. It was a double pressed patty that was freshly made not cooked earlier and rewarded, so hit that the cheese was melting. Always a good sign. Delicious! Great service from Crystal and Ashley - my water glass was constantly filled without me having to ask. 18% gratuity automatically added to bill. Seems to be standard for all Coral Gables and Mismibhoteks (some add 20%). Had breakfast here. Different servers and hostess as well as different vibe and service despite an empty restaurant. Had I not eaten here last night my review would be a 3 based breakfast service. I had to get someone and ask for my water glass to be refilled. There are limited gluten free options but they do have GF bread do was able to have the croissant sandwich but with gf bread. I'd get this again. I also got the Greek Yogurt. Tasty but you need honey and it's a big portion so easily shareable. It was a lot of good for you be person do I didn't order anything else. Already deleted those photos do guess I have to stay here again I would totally eat here again.

I also understand that getting one of the last tables about 40 minutes before closing isn't always ideal, but it's still part of the job, and we never felt like we were asking for anything unreasonable. We were a party of four adults and a toddler. Daniel introduced himself and immediately asked if we were ready to order. We ordered a glass of wine, waters, an appetizer, and our toddler's meal, and let him know we'd be ready to order the rest in just a moment. About two minutes later he came back for our entrée order, so we placed it. One thing that stood out right away was that our daughter was never offered anything to drink. I ended up giving her my own water because no one ever asked if she wanted a beverage. The food was absolutely amazing, and the kitchen deserves a lot of credit. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out overcooked. Normally, that wouldn't have been a huge issue if our server had checked back on us, but Daniel never came to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. Later, my husband ordered a glass of wine because he didn't want me drinking alone. The wine never arrived, and we never received any explanation or apology. We chose not to ask for it again because it was already difficult to get our server's attention. Instead, he seemed more interested in talking with another server than checking on our table. We've been staying at this location for two nights and have had both dinner and breakfast here, and every other experience has been excellent. That's why this visit stood out so much. One final point: our check included an automatic gratuity. I completely understand and support automatic gratuities when appropriate, but they shouldn't mean the level of service drops. Great service should still be the standard, and unfortunately, that wasn't our experience with Daniel. The food was fantastic, but the service left us disappointed. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because the restaurant and its kitchen are excellent, and with better service, the experience would have been outstanding.

We were sat immediately and they had a printed sign with our name on it on our table. That was a nice touch. The service was VERY slow! We waited at least 10 minutes before the waiter (Danny/Daniel) ever came over to offer us water. Another 20 minutes later and we still hadn't ordered our food. My friend's iced tea still hadn't arrived. I had to go to the hostess stand and tell them that we'd been there for half an hour and hadn't even ordered yet. We never even saw our waiter during that time. Eventually a manager came over and took our order. I ordered the Hamachi Crudo as my appetizer and the salmon as my entree, and the blueberry lemon cheesecake for my dessert. My friend ordered the same thing, except the cookie as her dessert. My other friend ordered the Cesar salad as her appetizer and the Beauty chicken sando as her entree. The Hamachi was absolutely delicious (but incredibly small). The Cesar salad was HUGE! It was almost 2:30 by the time we got our entrees (1.5 hours after arriving). Our salmons were barely warm, meaning that they had been ready for a while, but they had been left sitting in the kitchen. We had arrived pretty hungry, and since our appetizer was only 3-4 bites, and it'd already been an hour and a half, we weren't about to send our food back to be heated up. The salmon, although not hot, was good. I liked the sauce it came in. It was a little over cooked on the outside. But, overall and well made, tasty dish. My friend liked her chicken sandwich. It came with about 2-4 big "fries". Upon using the ladies room, I discovered that the hand dryer was not working. It was 3pm (2 hours later) when we received our desserts. We had to add more time to the parking meter. The waiter informed us that he couldn't offer us any coffee as the machine was being serviced. The restaurant looks nice. The chairs are comfortable. It's nicely decorated. The music was great- mostly 80's music. All in all, we were pretty disappointed in our experience. As a Michelin Guide restaurant, we expected more. Better/faster service, for sure! A working coffee machine. Hot food. I'm glad I came for Miami Spice. I probably won't be returning. If I do return I'll ask for a different waiter.

A simple "hello, welcome, we'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. Having worked in hospitality for many years, I know things happen behind the scenes, but guest communication is so important. After a short wait, the manager stepped in, apologized, and got us seated, which I really appreciated. From that point on, the service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and helpful, and I especially want to shout out the food runner, who was personable and made a great impression. Since I use a wheelchair for mobility, getting onto a bar stool would have been difficult, so I felt that a more accessible accommodation should have been offered. You'll see in my video I was the 4 top right next to the bar. That said, the food was good, and I still had a nice time with my friend. With just a little more attention to communication and accessibility, this could have been an even better experience.
