    Blueberry Gimlet

Met up with some friends for happy hour here. I got a Blueberry Gimlet and the arancini, and both were excellent. I also tried my friend's fries and they were great too. The place itself was beautiful, in a really convenient location, not too busy, and easy to hold a conversation. Service was also impeccable. Absolutely love this place and will for sure be back.

Very attentive and welcoming staff . Food was fantastic ! Will highly recommend . Perfect place to catch up with a friend or for date night .

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. Although is an Italian restaurant they have a breakfast corner and that's where I found myself trying their matcha latte, and it was really good. The Barista/server was a sweet girl very nice and approachable, so for that alone I was lucky. I'm going to try the restaurant next.

Such a beautiful and nice new restaurant in Coral Gables. I was here with a large group. Our server was Mia, and she was excellent. The service was top notch, and it felt very personable. The food was delicious as well. I had a white Sangria. I will say that while it was tasty, the alcohol was very light. I'd probably go with a different cocktail or just a glass of wine next time. (Idk why my picture of it is sort of blurry! I didn't notice it at the time). For my meal I actually just had the appetizer, Burrata Salad). It was perfect for what I was feeling at the time. There were lots of tomatoes, two large slices of bread, burrata, and prosciutto, and balsamic and pesto. My friend ordered it as well and requested olive oil to add to it, but I felt the flavor was good as it was. The people around me ordered pastas, and everyone loved their meals. Someone also ordered one of the pizzas and said it was good. The restaurant aesthetic itself was very sophisticated and beautiful. I'd love to go back and sit at the beautiful bar one of these days.

We finally found a pizza we were looking for.......

Wow and doble Wow. Wow. Wow. What an amazing gem of a place that just opened up in the last month. This is the sister/brother store of Bay 13 & ThreeFold in Coral Gables. The place is quaint with its low lighting and cool bar atmosphere. Ennio waited on us at the bar. He was so happy and professional. Kelly is one of the managers which I met at the other store fronts and had been promoting me to come her for weeks. My wife is a pizza snob and we ordered the margaritta. The dough was fresh and aged properly. The crust was thin and crispy with a soft center. The sauce was light sweet but not overpowering. The cheese was oh so satisfying. Wow and double wow. This is a must try.

Great new Italian restaurant in the Gables! Gia, the bartender, is the best! Parking is accessible in the Milam's (Cascade Building) Garage at only $4 flat rate. I would highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Pizza and the Meatballs! The menu is reasonably priced, and they offer happy hour 7 days a week from 4pm - 6pm with discounted drinks and food deals.

My wife and I were looking for some good Italian food after a long day of adventuring. We found a few restaurants but zero'd in on Cucina Povera after seeing some great reviews on Google. When we arrived we were the very first customers of the night and had the restaurant to ourselves for quite some time. The location is right off of US1 but quiet and the restaurant had a very upscale dining feel. We were duly impressed by the wonderful service as well as the delicious dishes we had. The Bistecca has phenomenal quality but the flavor of the Beef Ravioli with Peppercorn sauce was unmatched. Will be coming back again soon!

Cappuccino and Omega avo... so good. Great service too. Thank you
    Alex M.

Cucina Povera's cappuccino and avocado toast hit the spot! Rich espresso and velvety milk paired perfectly with the smashed avocado on sourdough bread. Cozy atmosphere and great service.

The setting was actually really nice--quiet, cozy, with a good mix of families and friends. We sat outside and the overall vibe felt promising. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill pretty quickly. As soon as we sat, the waitress greeted us by saying the kitchen was closing at 10 and asked if we already knew what we wanted. It immediately felt rushed and not very welcoming. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, which was good--slightly citrusy for my taste, but enjoyable. For food, I had the chicken Caesar salad and my husband ordered the seafood gluten-free pasta. My salad was disappointing--it had more croutons than chicken, which made it feel unbalanced and not worth the price. His pasta was even more underwhelming, with only three shrimp and a few clams. When we brought it up, the manager came over and explained that portions are measured by the restaurant, but offered to add more chicken and shrimp if we wanted. While I appreciate the offer, it felt like something that should have been corrected automatically, not something we had to ask for--especially considering these are full-priced entrées, not side dishes. Overall, the ambiance was nice, but the food and service didn't meet expectations. For the price point, I expected better portions and a more thoughtful response to feedback. Maybe pizza is a safer option here, but based on this experience, I wouldn't return.

Everyone from the bartenders to the server, to the hostesses were all extremely lovely and accommodating. They were very hospitable and made sure that any request that we had would be attempted. We ordered the Swordfish special and Cacio E Pepe pasta. The pasta was good but the swordfish was really what was cooked to perfection! It was not too soft but not rubbery at all. I liked the lemon caper butter sauce as well. We also grabbed a burrata because...why not? It was also decadent and scrumptious despite it being a slightly small portion size but still adequate for two to share. We were also asked if we wanted any extra cheese on top of the pasta which we definitely obliged! The lighting was gorgeous on the patio and very romantic. It was a nice spot right in the heart of Coral Gables and the nice experience has me wanting to return so soon.

He was joking around with us while recommending some great options too. I ordered the Piccola Selezione as an appetizer and for my main I ordered the Cacio e Pepe. The asthetics inside were really nice and was well air conditioned. For drinks we ordered Molecola and Limonata. 10/10 experience and will be coming back!

We weren't greeted by a server for at least 15 minutes. Eventually our waiter came over with water, but he seemed rushed and uninterested from the start. Another 15 minutes passed before he took our drink order, and we ended up ordering everything at once because he was so quick to leave the table. No recommendations, no check-ins, and anytime we needed something we had to flag him down ourselves. As for the food, the Fiori Di Zucca Ripieni Di Caprino E Miele Al Tartufo were absolutely divine, easily one of the highlights of the night. The octopus was disappointing, chewy and lacking flavor. The pumpkin ravioli was just okay and I wish the sauce had been creamier. The Linguine Alle Vongole was very good, probably our favorite pasta besides the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe with truffles, which was hands down the best dish we ordered. The mushroom tagliatelle wasn't what we expected at all, the sauce was much thinner and waterier than anticipated. We ended up skipping dessert solely because the service left such a bad impression. Overall, while a few dishes stood out, the experience as a whole didn't feel worth returning for.

I started with an arugula with shave fennel salad very good but not as tasty as my wife's salad. Shen then had the filet which was perfectly cooked and had an incredible mushroom sauce. I had the linguine with clam sausage. Best I have ever had including numerous restaurants in Italy. For desert we split the tiramisu whose was tremendous although I think the lady fingers could have used a little more rum or liquor. Only minor issue was no vegetable with the filet but not a big issue. Overall I highly recommend this Resturant and will be back. Do not wait to go here since it is so so good.
