Matcha with oat milk
Anabella V.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. Although is an Italian restaurant they have a breakfast corner and that's where I found myself trying their matcha latte, and it was really good. The Barista/server was a sweet girl very nice and approachable, so for that alone I was lucky. I'm going to try the restaurant next.

Such a beautiful and nice new restaurant in Coral Gables. I was here with a large group. Our server was Mia, and she was excellent. The service was top notch, and it felt very personable. The food was delicious as well. I had a white Sangria. I will say that while it was tasty, the alcohol was very light. I'd probably go with a different cocktail or just a glass of wine next time. (Idk why my picture of it is sort of blurry! I didn't notice it at the time). For my meal I actually just had the appetizer, Burrata Salad). It was perfect for what I was feeling at the time. There were lots of tomatoes, two large slices of bread, burrata, and prosciutto, and balsamic and pesto. My friend ordered it as well and requested olive oil to add to it, but I felt the flavor was good as it was. The people around me ordered pastas, and everyone loved their meals. Someone also ordered one of the pizzas and said it was good. The restaurant aesthetic itself was very sophisticated and beautiful. I'd love to go back and sit at the beautiful bar one of these days.

We finally found a pizza we were looking for.......

Wow and doble Wow. Wow. Wow. What an amazing gem of a place that just opened up in the last month. This is the sister/brother store of Bay 13 & ThreeFold in Coral Gables. The place is quaint with its low lighting and cool bar atmosphere. Ennio waited on us at the bar. He was so happy and professional. Kelly is one of the managers which I met at the other store fronts and had been promoting me to come her for weeks. My wife is a pizza snob and we ordered the margaritta. The dough was fresh and aged properly. The crust was thin and crispy with a soft center. The sauce was light sweet but not overpowering. The cheese was oh so satisfying. Wow and double wow. This is a must try.

Great new Italian restaurant in the Gables! Gia, the bartender, is the best! Parking is accessible in the Milam's (Cascade Building) Garage at only $4 flat rate. I would highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Pizza and the Meatballs! The menu is reasonably priced, and they offer happy hour 7 days a week from 4pm - 6pm with discounted drinks and food deals.

Bistecca with Fingerling Potatoes

My wife and I were looking for some good Italian food after a long day of adventuring. We found a few restaurants but zero'd in on Cucina Povera after seeing some great reviews on Google. When we arrived we were the very first customers of the night and had the restaurant to ourselves for quite some time. The location is right off of US1 but quiet and the restaurant had a very upscale dining feel. We were duly impressed by the wonderful service as well as the delicious dishes we had. The Bistecca has phenomenal quality but the flavor of the Beef Ravioli with Peppercorn sauce was unmatched. Will be coming back again soon!

Cappuccino and Omega avo... so good. Great service too. Thank you

Cucina Povera's cappuccino and avocado toast hit the spot! Rich espresso and velvety milk paired perfectly with the smashed avocado on sourdough bread. Cozy atmosphere and great service.

My husband ordered the Basic Omelette with ham, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms, and they absolutely loaded it with veggies. It was packed with flavor and very satisfying! I ordered the churrasco gyro and it was delicious! Generous portions of meat, fresh veggies, and plenty of tzatziki. The salads were also surprisingly good with just the right amount of dressing. A few disappointments: the potatoes are fried rather than roasted, there's no gluten-free bread option, and they don't offer decaf coffee. Overall though, the food was flavorful, filling, and worth trying if you're looking for hearty breakfast/brunch portions! We will be back.

Chug's is the kind of place that screams comfort for food. There is nothing fancy here. Just beautiful, indoor and outdoor seating in a diner type atmosphere with excellent food and even better service. I must admit that, even in major cities like New York and Miami the parking gods smile on me. As is strangely usual for me, as I drove up to the restaurant on a busy Sunday morning, someone pulled out only steps away from my destination, leaving me a space to pull into. Walked up to the restaurant since they do not take reservations on Sunday mornings and put my name in. I was informed of the wait, which was not a problem because it was a beautiful day to walk around. I peruse the neighborhood, seeing other lovely restaurants and shops before being informed that my table was ready quite quickly. It was a gorgeous day to sit outside, but the first table that opened up was indoors, and it was kind of nice to enjoy the ambience of an old style diner. Perused the menu, which was quite nice, but told I could only order from the brunch menu, which was a little bit restrictive. We ordered La Completa with smoked salmon, a pancake with Nutella and bananas, and a milkshake and french fries for dipping pleasure. Everything was excellent. Service was over the top good. Really enjoyed it and will be back. I always feel I have to explain why I leave four stars instead of five at a restaurant that I love. In this case it is specifically because there was nothing creative about the pancake. They start with an exquisite preparation, but do nothing to make it extraordinary. For example, served with fruit compote and nuts or ice cream and sliced fruit or any other creative arrangement could really elevate the dish, making it both picture worthy and enticing to return to try more options. Despite that minor criticism, I really love this place and will be back and even try other meals here. Oh and don't forget to hold my parking space.

It is a lovely patio to sit out on and I love the decor touches and the overall vibe. The service tends to always be slow but the servers are all friendly. Don't head out here if you are starving. The pigs in a blanket are quite tasty as are the latkes. The lox there is spot on and one of the few places I'll get lox. The tower is quite beautiful as well. Everything here is expensive, but well done. A winning spot for a leisurely brunch on a beautiful day.

What's the deal with breakfast places that don't believe in breakfast?…read more The restaurant looks great. Beautiful lighting, stylish design, gorgeous bathrooms. You walk in and think, Wow, this place has it together. That feeling lasts until you sit down. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to greet us. Not busy ignoring us--just slowly realizing we existed. No water. No hello. Just eye contact from across the room like, I'll get to you eventually. I order French toast. Very simple. A classic. Bread. Heat. That's it. I get my omelette--poorly prepared--and a latke that somehow managed to be raw in the middle. Not undercooked. Raw. Like the potato was still considering a career change. I finish my entire meal. Table is completely empty. Done. Finished. Closure. And then... the French toast arrives. Now here's where it gets interesting. I say, "Oh, I think this was forgotten." And the waiter says, "No, that's dessert." Dessert. At breakfast. Who is ordering dessert for breakfast? What kind of confidence do you need to say that out loud? And if it's dessert, why wasn't it suggested as dessert? Why wasn't the table cleared? Why does it feel like the French toast just wandered out here on its own? Then we argue about it. I don't want to argue about French toast. That's not where I thought my day was headed. This place feels like a design firm said, "Let's absolutely nail the vibe... and then just see what happens with the food." Save your money. Save your time. If you want ambiance, go in, admire the lighting, use the bathroom, and leave. If you want breakfast, go somewhere that agrees with the concept of breakfast. Because right now, Sadelle's is serving confusion--with a side of toast.
