It's been a few years since I've been to Strada and let me tell you, they have not missed a beat! It remains one of the very best Italian spots with great quality food in Miami. It was amazing! We loved it! We started with the burrata with prosciutto then followed it with our main course: linguine with clams and squid ink ravioli stuffed with crab and shrimp in lobster sauce was incredible! The mocktail and cocktail were well made and tasty. We skipped on dessert, but will indulge in the future. Laudis, our server, was excellent and recommended the dishes we enjoyed! The service, food and ambiance is a spot for friends, dates or family. Check them out and enjoy!

After wanting to come and try the new marriage between Strada and Farinelli into one restaurant I have to say that ... it is okay but not great. Each on their own were really good restaurants. Farinelli had awesome pizzas which most are still in the new menu but some like the funghi is no longer there but a new version (tartufo) We started with lamb meatballs and fritto misto (fried calamari with zucchini and apples) meatballs were good but the sauce is probably the best thing. The fried calamari was a bit greasy. I tried the pizza di mare (seafood pizza) and it sounded good in paper... but it's definitely not working in execution. Its a soggy, almost wet dough. Not very pleasant. Toppings were good but it needs a lot of work. The pata negra pizza was still very good as it was the Margherita pizza. Linguini vongole was good but nothing memorable. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance is again nice ... with indoor and outdoor seating and they added a new bar out in the terrace which is nice for having a few drinks and grabbing a quick bite and of course ... for people watching. I will try coming back again.

This spot always caught my attention because if the Romaric at miso her outside and they are always packed for brunch so was excited to try it, even though we just wanted a quick bite. Service was interesting, there was a lot of cursing lol but they were very friendly and attentive. Pizza was a little over garlicky but did the job. Overall: for one pizza and two simple drinks that cost us $70 with 18% tip. It's not worth it to be honest. Might be my fault the pizza was so expensive cause I added meat but I still think it was excessive I still want to give brunch a try. I'll update if I do!

Came to Strada for our Company Christmas party and wow! Everything on the menu was amazing! There were no misses on anything that was ordered. It was a party of 11 and everyone left satisfied with filled and happy bellies. The staff were very attentive and fast. Drinks and food came out relatively fast considering it was a full house. So glad we chose this location for our Christmas dinner.

Mariana -- A Standout at Strada in the Grove From the moment we sat down, Mariana made our evening exceptional. Her knowledge of the menu, wine pairings, and timing was absolutely spot-on. She made us feel welcome without being overbearing -- striking that perfect balance of attentiveness and grace. She offered insightful recommendations (especially with our Super Tuscan pairing), and her genuine warmth elevated our entire experience. Every course arrived flawlessly, and it was clear that she not only cared about our meal, but about making sure we had a relaxed, memorable night. If you're lucky enough to have Mariana as your server -- you're in good hands.

Consistently delicious food, great service, and a beautiful indoor outdoor bar area. I'm delighted to come back to Strada at its new location and former sister restaurant . The decor and flow of the restaurant provide a relaxing and neighborly experience for diners as well as those that want to just hang out the bar and drink with friends.

Food

Food was pretty good. My friends pasta was delish. My cacio e pepe... not so much. Very salty and not much sauce. Dry. Also booked dining room reservation and the table they showed us literally was at another party's table. Like the 2 remaining seats at a 8 person table. So we went outside, where the tables were so squished together I could not get up to go to the bathroom without my butt being in the other party's faces as I squeezed by. Start turning people down/ making a waitlist. Your restaurant cannot accommodate as many people as you have been trying to fit.

Great Italian spot in the Grove that's sadly closing temporarily and relocating due to the building not renewing their lease. My family had an awesome lunch here and enjoyed great service. We ordered 4 pastas, a salad, and the clams. We also finished the lunch off with an espresso afterwards because we were stuffed! Go check them out before they close!

We heard some good things so we decided to try it before they relocated. We made reservation online which was easy , we arrived early and hostess who is super friendly was able to accommodate us and seat us almost immediately. The dining room has a nice romantic feel, a good balance of lighting in being able to see but not too bright along with nice color scheme. Once seated the staff gave us menus immediately and asked if we wanted sparkling or normal water, then brought bread. The service was very good as the people assisting the waiter were friendly, with a smile and attentive. We ordered Tagliolini with Ragu which is their Bolognese sauce, they actually served Fettuccine but we didn't send it back because the pasta was cooked properly, the bolognese sauce was very good but needed more Bolognese sauce. We also order Pappardelle Con Crema Di Porcini, the pasta was also properly cooked, mushroom cream sauce which had excellent flavor just needed a little more sauce. For dessert the Tiramisu was very good.

Burrata

I went to strata for a date and absolutely loved it. This small elegant modern restaurant looked cute to try and we weren't disappointed. We had started the date off with some meatballs and burrata. Wow the meat balls were just flavorful and the burrata was melting on my tongue, extremely fresh. I had order the bolognese for my main entree and was exactly what I was expecting in taste. Service was amazing. My only criticism is that once closing time hit it felt like the staff was hinting for us to leave; however we were 2/3 down with the bottle of wine and felt pressured to chug our drinks. Overall great place in the grove to try.

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

The first location in the River is better imo because the location is bigger, there is plenty more seating than the Grove location. Although, I still enjoyed my time at this location as well. Sooo how it works is that you go inside and pick a bottle of wine from the fridges. You can also order by the glass if you aren't a big drinker or if you want to try different wines. The bottles are moderately priced depending on your selection. We chose an orange wine and it was nice, very refreshing, you can really get that citrus essence with every sip. Another thing that they have is that you can pick different cheeses and meats and they will build you a charcuterie board. I love this because it is all based on your selection, nothing will go to waste. They also have food you can order. A lot of people love the nuggets with caviar. I think they are decent imo but I'm not like in love with them. Parking can be a bit annoying... If there isn't street parking, you can also park in the garage. Overall, this spot is a very cozy place to hang and mingle with friends.

As others have stated, Magie is good in concept and we'll likely return here, but with just a bit…read moremore effort on their part this wine bar could be so much better IMO. Unlike some other reviewers that scoffed at the prices of the wine, that didn't bother me so much. We had a bottle here that cost $55 and it retails for about $28; I was OK with that, as all restaurants and wine bars have a markup above retail, and even when you go to spots like Happy Wine or El Carajo and pick out a bottle to drink while in their shop, they charge a corkage fee for that. What I did have a problem with is that, after the "service charge" and other fees were added on, our $55 bottle rang up to more than $73 in total, which was ludicrous. When we first arrived at Magie we were met by a young guy who pointed out the bottles and where the various charcuterie items are located in the coolers, and we were then pretty much left on our own. We really just wanted a glass of wine each, but unlike places like Vinoteca, here at Magie they had a very limited selection of wines by the glass, and the ones available all seemed to come in single-serve cans. We picked out a bottle to share, went to the register, paid and the guy opened it and handed us 2 glasses. When I returned to get napkins, the guy just motioned to where the napkins were so I could grab my own (after moving a delivery cart out of the way by myself so I could reach them). Again, though this place includes an automatic "service charge", we received zero actual "service" unless one considers the 45 seconds it takes to uncork our bottle and charge us for the purchase. We had a seat, had a glass of wine each and then re-corked our bottle of wine and took it with us. Overall I think Magie is a great concept with lots of potential. The inside seating area is interestingly decorated and outfitted with lots of eclectic furniture and items on the walls, and the relatively large patio seating out front with tables for 2 to 8 people is shielded from the adjacent street/traffic and shaded by lots of trees and greenery. The ambiance overall is really very nice. The service, however, was non-existent, especially considering the automatic charge for that, and while prices of at least some wines aren't terribly out of line, the fact that all the service charges, taxes and fees added $20 to the cost of our bottle was a bit of a shocker. Magie should consider adding more wines by the glass IMO. Not just subpar quality single-serve cans, but decent wines, poured from a proper bottle with a topper that preserves the wine between pours like most every quality wine bar commonly offers. Lastly, while I don't think anyone expects linen napkins and white glove service, the paper plates and plastic cutlery customers are given to eat with are a bit off vs. what this place appears to be trying to be and the prices charged. The "F*ck Brunch" positioning statement on the back of the staffs' shirts was an interesting touch.

Eggplant chips, flash fried and drizzled with honey. These are the best!!! So delicious, we ordered 2 servings and everyone in the restaurant was ordering them. * Fried Calamari with a very tasty aioli sauce. * Gulas de Ajillo Baby eels cooked in garlic sauce and olive oil - delicious. The rice was excellent, absolutely luscious. * Pulpo a la Gallega. Boiled octopus and boiled potatoes drizzled with paprika and olive oil. For our Mains we ordered the * Filet Mignon with blue cheese sauce and boiled potatoes. This dish was just OK. The potatoes weren't seasoned, only boiled. The steak had no char and was overdone for a filet. My Husband also ordered * Patatas a la Giralda - their twist on patatas bravas with two homemade signature sauces. These were crispy, and delicous. Served underneath the 2 sauces. * I ordered Grilled Chicken with salad. I was taken aback by the server for food shaming me to order something pricier, not just basic chicken. That's not cool. I also got a side of * Patatas - fried steak fries, very crunchy paired well with our food. For dessert we had * Crema Catalana, which is a Spanish syle Crème brûlée. This dessert has probably been the smallest dessert I've ever ordered. Not to mention, the consistency, the taste and color was all wrong. It was as if you had a Jello vanilla pudding with a miniscule amount of hardened caramelized sugar. Definitely not getting this desert again. I'd like to try the Tarta de Santiago next time. Once our food arrived the Flamenco show began and it was glorious!! The lead male vocalist was phenomenal! His vocal range and guitar skills were admirable. The show began with singing first and then the dancer started. She was a personable, very talented dancer and performer. At one point she locked eyes with me and before I knew it I was up there dancing with her, which was so much fun! I really enjoyed this restaurant and recommend it to open minded people who enjoy food from Spain.

We were also asked if we wanted any extra cheese on top of the pasta which we definitely obliged! The lighting was gorgeous on the patio and very romantic. It was a nice spot right in the heart of Coral Gables and the nice experience has me wanting to return so soon.

The food was wonderful, service was very nice, and the vibe on the outdoor patio was perfect!…read more We had the branzino, ricotta cavatelli, and fingerling potatoes. The branzino was very fresh and prepared perfectly, very simple. The pasta was cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. Honestly, every dish was delicious and the tiramisu was top tier as well. We'll definitely return!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with thoughtful details that clearly reflect the owners' passion and care. What really sets this spot apart is the personal touch  the family is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to share their knowledge and love of wine. They take the time to recommend selections based on your taste, and every pour feels curated just for you. Pair that with delicious small bites, and it's the perfect place to unwind, catch up with friends, or enjoy a relaxed date night. You can truly feel the heart behind this business. Vinoteca is a small, cozy wine bar on Grand Avenue in Coconut Grove with a handful of indoor and…read moreoutdoor tables and about 1/2 dozen stools at the bar. They sell bottles of wine, imported olive oils, lots of (mostly European) wines by the glass, and light bites like charcuterie, small pizzas and popcorn. We've come here a few times, our dog was welcome, staff were friendly and outgoing, offering us various tabletop games like tic-tac-toe to pass the time, and once we'd both ordered a few glasses of wine, they offered us complimentary popcorn - something they normally charge for. Wines on their "by the glass" menu average about $16 each, and most staff pour them behind the bar where they have a gauge to measure out each one. The food prep area behind the bar is quite small (which is why they don't have a large menu), but so is this little gem of a wine spot in general. It's cozy, eclectic and great for a glass of wine and a small snack, or a nightcap after having dinner elsewhere. It's good for singles at the bar, or an intimate spot for couples and smaller groups. Vinoteca seems to have found their niche, and they've filled it quite nicely. That said, I'm not sure the staff, at least the ones working on the nights we've come, have a lot of knowledge about wines or are in the position to talk at length about their various selections.
