Really enjoyed this dinner in the heart of South Miami! The scallop and leak, the AJ ham plate and the short rib rice are a must! The sangria also was very refreshing and sweet. We will definitely come back.

Great new restaurant in S Miami! Delicious, innovative dishes. Spot on for ambiance & service. And housemade pickles! Inside dining area is cozy. Plus some seats at the bar. There's also a large patio out front for all fresco dining. This was our 2nd visit and won't be our last.

We found a HUGE excited crowd partaking in all three! We ended up staying for the legendary signature item. After seeing so many people excited about getting their culinary mediterranean vibe on, I would not leave without my falafel sandwich. Always cooked fresh to order, I was handed the hot off the grill falafel piled in pocket, and instructed to add my choice of fixings personally. And they have EvErYtHiNg! WOW, the aroma alone...! It was truly LoVe at first bite. This was BY FAR the BEST authentic fresh and tasty Falafel Miami has to offer. Who knew?! This cute little establishment belies such expertise in doing "your thing" well. They truly excel in that elusive perfect consistency of outer crunch, inner moistness, hearty flavor and perfect authentic spice finish. Even the pita was perfect in a similar way. The staff also was excellent, serving the hungry hordes with cool expertise and calm friendly personality. Grace under pressure, delivering the same unwavering quality again and again. I sat there for a couple of hours enjoying the fun Labubu popup and even had a delicious Dubai chocolate Labubu for dessert. Thank you to the wonderful management and staff for a terrific culinary experience. Amsterdam is FIRE! We will be back and so should you. Thanks for following me & Happy yelping!

The food is where this place truly shines. Everything tastes exceptionally fresh, like it's made to order with high-quality ingredients. The flavors are vibrant and authentic, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. Whether it's the meats, salads, or sides, everything is consistently delicious and well-prepared. 10/10! I'm rarely in this area, but I found myself here with some spare time and wanted to try this place…read moreout since I see it often. Really let down. Mediterranean (specifically Lebanese) food is perhaps my favorite on this planet, but this place severely disappointed. I want to start off with the good. Nice, friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. And all the sides we had were great. Now, the bad. We got the beef shawarma, and it was ok. The shawarma itself was largely bland, and just tasted like cut up steak bites with no flavor. However, that's not the worst part. I had an absolutely nauseating experience with the arayes, which is one of my favorite dishes that I make at home from time to time too. It smelled like cigarettes, gasoline, and death. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm not sure what kind of meat it was, I assume lamb, and I've had experience with lamb that had gone bad in the fridge, and the texture was very reminiscent. I hope that's just a coincidence, and the smell was from another source. More so than the texture, again, the smell was enough to make us gag, and I have a strong stomach. I'd give lower, but I was treated fairly, and that would feel unfair. Thankfully, I'm not in this area that much, but I hope I just got unlucky and everyone else had and will continue to have good experiences here.

So much potential, but have a ways to go!…read more Let me start on a positive--the chicken gyro was absolutely delicious. I loved how it was stuffed with fries and smothered in tzatziki. The chicken itself was flavorful and I ate the whole thing even though it was quite large. Therefore, from a taste and quality perspective I think the gyro was a saving grace for Art Gyros. We also ordered the hummus and it was tasty enough but...a part of me did wonder if it was homemade or if my tastebud memory was recognizing a sabra-esque taste. Nonetheless, it was served with far too few pita breads. Would recommend supplementing with some crudités, yum! The restaurant itself is so cute. It has prime real estate on Sunset Drive with a great outdoor seating area and a crisp and clean interior decor. Loved the wine wall! The bathroom needs a little work in the decor department. Also, when I used it, it looked like the staff left some supply cabinet open. Not a huge deal but again--so much potential! The service is why I gave Art Gyros 2 Stars. I went during lunch hours and therefore no one was there. Our order was taken by a gentleman and though he got us situated with our drinks and appetizers very quickly, he never came back to see if we wanted more Prosecco or needed anything at all. We observed that the chef in the kitchen was working hard to prepare dishes for the 5 of us and it seemed like she had no help. The gentleman spent the rest of the time we were there doing what appeared to be business stuff. We took it upon ourselves to remove all the extra plates from our table and put it on the bar area to make more space. At the end of it all when we got our check, it wasn't until after I already wrote in my 20% tip (which I always give regardless of service) that the we were informed it was already included. Would love to see this place do better as it does have so much potential.
