For our appetizer we both ordered the ceasar salad. I loved mine! It was clearly a homemade dressing. The croutons were also homemade. One of the best ceasar salads I've ever had. My friend doesn't like anchovies so she only took a couple of bites. The only other appetizer available on the MS menu was fried mozzarella. Our waiter brought out some focaccia bread and put some olive oil and vinegar on a plate for us. For my entree I ordered the Chicken Farcito. It's a chicken breast topped with fresh spinach and mozzarella melted on top. That's set on mashed potatoes and then it's covered in a Jack Daniel's cream sauce. It was AH-MAZING! Sooooooo good!!!! But I was full about halfway through. My friend ordered the Linguine tre funghi. I tried it and it was VERY GOOD! I would have ordered that, if I didn't order the chicken. She loved it too. It was very flavorful. It looked like a small portion, but she was also full halfway through her meal. We had both ordered the ricotta and pistachio cake for our desserts. We got them and our leftovers to go. My dessert melted in the car, so I don't have a picture of it. It was delicious though! I had never heard of this restaurant before seeing it on the Miami Spice list. I'm so glad that they're participating in MS. Otherwise I would have never tried it. I love this restaurant! The octopus was very tender and tasty, while the star of the meal were the croquettes very creamy interior without the strong fish flavor. For the main entree we ordered their black ink paella which included chucks of seafood. The rice unfortunately was very bland to the point we had to add some salt on our own. For dessert we ordered the torta de Santiago which is a sweet almond pie. Very disappointing very hard and it was not as sweet as we would like. The waiters were really nice and always attentive but the food just didn't meet our expectations.
