Restaurant does have nights with live music being played for your enjoyment. Our waiter was great and attentive. Did find it odd that that for shrimp order they would charge $6 each shrimp instead of just having a set amount for processing add on to your dish so we switched our option to Veal Parmesan which was very tasty along with a side of pasta which was al dente but did lack flavor. Their bread rolls were delicious as well as their eggplant appetizer. For dessert we had the Bomba which was not bad but wouldn't order it again. An Italian restaurant that doesn't offer garlic bread and instead serves dinner rolls should have been our first warning sign. The fettuccine Alfredo was bland and lacked even basic seasoning, it seemed as though salt was never introduced to the dish. To make matters worse, the owner showed little hospitality. It was our first time visiting Anacapri after many years living in the neighborhood. While the overall experience and food were great, the manager appeared to be rude and made us feel unwelcome. We sat at the bar, and 10 minutes later after we had ordered he made us moved stating we were in the middle. Later, he accommodated two other people at the same location, against a hand shake $. Later during the evening, we had a great time singing on the song that was playing, he came again to interrupt us stating we were too loud. I run luxury hotels, and we don't approach guests in such poor manner. The man definitely tarnished our evening. He needs to improve his approach, come down and check on guest satisfaction rather than bark at people. Very sad and disappointing! People around our table were astonished, stating that his approach was so inappropriate and his behavior highly disrespectful! read more

I was here with a large group a few weeks ago (20 or so people), and we were seated in a separate room in the back. I didn't get a good look at the main part of the restaurant so it's hard to speak to speak to overall ambiance, but the area we were at was surrounded by bottles of wine and was nice. The staff was incredibly friendly, even while dealing with the challenges of waiting on such a large group. I only had a glass of wine and my meal, so I can't speak to much, but my food was great! I had the Alle Vongole (linguine with clams and white wine sauce). The flavor was a bit strong on my first bite, but after that first surprise I thought it was really good! (I overheard someone say their Cesar salad tasted a little fishy.. so I assume it had an anchovie taste stronger than some sort of how I felt with my clams). But it was delicious and I'd order it again. BEWARE DIRTY DINNING I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. While dining with my family, I noticed a cockroach on the wall right behind me. I informed two servers, but both of them rolled their eyes and walked away, completely ignoring the situation. Because I was worried the roach would fall on me or my child, who was already scared and crying--I had to kill it myself. The manager then acted as if this was normal and brushed off our concerns instead of addressing the issue. This was not only unhygienic but incredibly unprofessional. I left feeling disgusted and extremely let down. I will not be returning, and I hope the restaurant takes serious action to improve its cleanliness and customer service. I just left the restaurant today is April 14, 2026. I ordered crabcake as an appetizer and it was terrible! It was fishy and the breadcrumbs were hard like cardboard. I couldn't cut thru with a butter knife. For the entree I ordered Salmon florentina on a bed of garlic spinach, the salmon was ok, nothing special about it, nice portion size. My son ordered Snapper francese with a side of garlic penne. Snapper was tasty, pasta was too al dente. 1/4 glass of red wine for $12! We started off with a bruschetta but we're too hungry and forgot to take a picture. It was perfect for an appetizer, and it was the perfect amount. They also bring you some warm bread with butter to start with and it's such a nice way to start the meal off. We each ordered a glass of wine and both were delicious. For our entree with had the penne arrabbiata which was spicy but tolerable. We also ordered the fiocchi which is filled with pear and has a creamy Parmesan sauce, it is a balance of sweet and salty. My favorite pasta EVER. The service is amazing, we sat outside and they came to check in on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else or a refill. It was a great experience. We really had a great first time experience at Anacapri. What a beautiful ambience and great service from all of the staff. I would highly recommend getting a reservation if you anticipate eating at the restaurant. My pictures are not the best but we got stuffed mushrooms that were a great start to the meal. Eggplant parmigiana which all of us loved so much, it was flavorful and so cheesy. My daughter had noodles in their famous pink sauce, she devoured them. I got a steak special, the steak cut like butter, very yummy. And my husband had a chicken Marsala, the only feedback we had was the Marsala comes with a side of noodles in marinara, that felt like an odd combination. There is an attached marketplace with some of their signature dishes available in the freeers. We purchased 2 frozen eggplant parmigiana, a container of pink sauce, and a package of noodles from the shelf. We cooked the eggplant parm per the instructions on the container and it was just as delicious and fresh as the dish we had in the restaurant. Absolutely a new local favorite for us! read more

Came for a wine tasting on Wednesday and I'm hesitant to event post this review because I selfishly don't want to spoil it and make this place even more crowded on wine tasting days. The wine tasting experience is great...at the beginning when it's empty and you can freely move and enjoy wine without being bumped or spilled on (happened to my boyfriend) but if you do, the staff will quickly assist and spray protectant on your clothes to forgo staining. After the wine tasting we had made reservations for dinner, we ate and it was good. We started with the crab cake and sausage and meatball plates. The crab cakes tasted like corn. They could use some more crab in the cake but it tasted fine. For the sausage and meatballs, the meatball part was amazing, so good! As well as the sauce but sausages had way too much sage and were not that good they also came with mushrooms mixed in. I was okay with them but my boyfriend did not like them. For our meal we shared a carbonara. They split it for us already which was so nice. The pasta was al dente and the sauce tasted fresh. The noodles were hollow, not bad but different. At the end, it was delicious. Overall, 10/10 recommend. The pricing is reasonable, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We will def be back. read more
