This place sucked. Don't know if the food is good or not, because after 30 minutes we just left instead. We made a reservation through their website only to be told when we got there (at the time of our reservation) that we needed to be out by 9:30 because they had a big party coming in. The lady who spoke to us was at the bar, don't know if she's a manager or what, but she basically told us that it's not a good idea to make reservations online, that we should be calling. Why have that as an option then? When we tried to leave immediately, she backtracked and told us the kitchen was fast-- which maybe they are, but there was only one waitress until right before we left and they were packed so we never got to find out. Poor waitress by the way-- she was nice and running around doing her best. This lady told another group the same thing shortly after we got there, and then about 30 minutes in (as a newly arrived, second waitress was taking our order) a dad and his daughter walked in and were told they probably wouldn't be able to be served and that they'd "see what they could do." The attitude this lady had (and la cara de tranca que tenía puesta) while telling this man and his kid this, and the attitude in general while telling several parties that they shouldn't be doing their reservations online, is what sealed the deal for us. This was their own fault. We canceled our order and got up and went somewhere else instead. I get it's frustrating to work in food service, but your poor planning is not other people's fault. You shouldn't be booking more reservations than you can take, and if you do make that mistake because you don't check your website then you shouldn't be rude to people who aren't at fault. If she'd been polite to everyone I probably wouldn't have even left a review. I'm glad other people have enjoyed this place, but I'm not coming back after this. No amount of good food is gonna make up for that lady's attitude. This was a shit show. read more

Terrible service, was told that my online reservation was basically useless and that we needed to be out soon because they had a large party coming later. On Valentine's Day no less. Food looked like it might've been good but after waiting for 40 minutes for them to take our order, we left. The waitress was nice, but the older woman that was acting manager was rude to basically anyone and everyone that walked in saying they had online reservations. Mind you, the reservations are done through their own website, if you can't accommodate for them, then you shouldn't have them. Besides that, the 'live' music was a laptop playing songs off YouTube, and several guests were just straight up vaping inside the restaurant. The last time I was here was may be two years ago. I had been here before about a hand full of times and everything was fine, even great. Also, the please had a different name and two blocks away from where I live. Today, Sunday, January 10th, 2022, I was there with my family for dinner. The waitress was great. She was fun and attentive.. Also, 2022 brings in the high prices!!!! Service gratuity is included. I had to ask to be taken off my receipt, since the included gratuity was also included in the tax. Tax is not tip-able!!! Also, paying with your credit card will also add a "Non Cash Adj" FEE. It's ridiculous! When I asked the waitress, to remove the gratuity she had the need to let me know she only gets pay $5 and hour. I am a tipper. And when I get good service I'm very generous. I just don't like to be told what to tip! My mom, ask for medium well steak, she got it well done. My grandfather, said his congris was dry and overcooked. The flan was flavorless. The only thing adding flavor was the dulce de leche on top of the flan. I don't see myself comeback here again. I would like to give five the violinist. He was awesome! read more

After many changes, from the menu, lightings, personal to the owner things are getting into place again. To be fair the food has been consistent for most of the time thought the years, but the ambience, services and music have had many highs and lows. Since June I have felt much better coming here because the music is smooth and enjoyable for a restaurant. I have not come during the weekends when they have live music, I'm not sure the type of music it's played, so I'm talking about lunch time, I presume that it's slow music but I'm being told it depend on the atmosphere and people requests... This spot is right around the corner from the house and we knew if we tried to go to bonefish or bonsai it would be like an hour wait so we decided to give this local place a shot. The servers that were there were really friendly and for a Saturday it was relatively empty. It was dim, quiet and the service was quick. The food was delicious, I didn't even get a chance to take a photo of it. I had the penne vodka pasta and my husband had the entraña. You can probably get a better cut of meat at the grocery store extra and cooking it at home. This was garbage! Pasta was flavorless and chicken in the pasta tasted like the frozen stuff they sell where the chicken is made up of by products. Too many corners cut in the food. And to top it all off $130 bill... Came here for a Pre-Mothers dinner after checking out the reviews on Yelp. The parking situation here is dicey, the restaurant is located in a very busy shopping center were parking spaces are tight and people are ruthless to let you get a spot. Your best bet is to park far and not risk getting your car hit or door dinged. At night the parking lot is pretty dark. Now once you walk up to the restaurant you can hear the salsa music playing from far it really doesn't give you that Argentinian/ Italian vibe that the restaurant's food or menu portrays, which is puzzling. Inside it is dark but cozy, there is a small bar where you can sit and eat as well as plenty of tables. There were some TVs which at the time were showing Spanish sports which took away from the intimate restaurant feel we were looking for. The loud music playing inside the restaurant also didn't help the fact that we could hold a conversation while inside the restaurant. However we had no complaints on the menu as it had plenty of options and the food looked delicious. We ordered the skirt steak with tostones and mashed potatoes. The food was delicious and well seasoned no complaints there. This restaurant has potential to be great if it addressed the loud music and turned off its TVs to give it more of an intimate feel. read more

Today was very disappointed. Went back with friends for the offer from Instagram of the beer on tap which had been very good last week. Got there at 630 and was told that there was no more Heineken on tap and only one tap left of modelo .. requested for bottle beee to be same price since they didn't have any on tap and was told it couldn't be done and the Heineken and modelo weee charged at 6.00 the bottle.. before we go next time we will call to make sure they have enough beee on tap. Went with some friends, was excited to try Argentinian food. Was disappointed in every way. Food took a fairly long time to come out and restaurant was not busy. Ordered a parrillado for two and tira de asado was good, every other meat was awfully dry with little to no flavor, rice was hard and clumpy, Sausage left me dissatisfied as well. Wanted to find a great dinner place after riding our bikes through Shark Valley so we yelped and found this awesome place! It is located in the strip mall with Winn Dixie. Staff speaks broken English, but they try hard to help you understand the Spanish menu. They bring you warm bread and three dips: chimichurri, roasted red pepper, and a pico de gallo. It is a great start to a delicious meal, but don't fill up on this! We ordered the meat platter for 3 people ($42). What a DEAL! It could have fed 6-8 people. It comes with 3 sides. The meat included chicken, skirt steak, short rib, sweet bread(thyroid), grilled eggplant, and chorizo. The beans and rice had excellent smoky flavor to them. All the meats are well seasoned and juicy! The dessert we chose was a slice of dolce de leche cake for $6 and was very good. IT has a layer of caramel between cake. It is topped with crisp meringue chunks. There was a bar with two bar stools. There is no outdoor seating. There is parking in the attached parking lot. The staff was friendly and efficient. They play ethnic music at a good level and have sports playing on the tvs. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would go again if in the area. read more

Ordered through Uber eats at 9pm. I ordered a 12 oz entraña cooked medium and got a rare steak that was a way thicker cut than other entrañas I've had at other Argentinian restaurants. It looked like a block of meat, not like the long entraña cut that I've had at other great Argentinian places. On top of being undercooked, it was very bland, no salt or flavor at all. I ordered camarones al ajillo and got giant pieces of uncooked garlic in oil with shrimp that also had no flavor except the overwhelming raw garlic. I also ordered a broccoli soup which was the only decent tasting thing. After I ate half of it, I noticed there was a gnat in it and was so disgusted with the entire meal that I threw the whole thing out and forgot to take a picture. I don't know how this place has good reviews. I don't know if it's because I ordered at 9pm and they close at 10 so I got the worst meal ever or what but I would be embarrassed to serve a patron a meal looking like what I received. Spent almost $80 for this trash. I have never been so hangry. The restaurant was empty when I walked in and the service was mediocre (it was just my parents and I in there). The meat had a weird taste to it, and the rice was extremely over cooked. I came in here with super high expectations after reading so many awesome reviews. I will honestly highlight their pros and cons according to our experience while dining there. Pros: - the warm bread that comes out with the sauces (meant for the meat but we ate them with the bread anyway). High quality meat for low prices is a great situation that they have going on, hopefully it remains forever! - the family atmosphere. It's a warm and friendly place where families are definitely welcomed and feel at home Con: - they overcooked all of our steaks. This makes me take off the two stars because this is a HUGE DEAL in steakhouses... they are supposed to be masters of their craft, not burning all the food. It works if you like well done steak, because that's what you get. I never ever like to send food back, it actually makes me feel really bad... but I did. My boyfriend just stayed quiet and ate his but was really quite disheartened with the lack of flavor due to burnt steak after I had hyped him up so much about this place. They brought out a new steak for me once everyone else had already finished their meal. Ok, after a rough start of being told they have no Skirt Steak, Picanha or French Fries, naturally I was a bit disappointed because it was what I craving! We ordered Provoleta (Argentine pulled-curd Provolone cheese) to start in hopes that maybe their delivery of Skirt Steak would arrive. Luckily while we were enjoying our appetizer the server delivered the good news! "Your Steak has arrived"! YES!! The Provoleta was delicious! We wasted no time and ordered our main course, an 8oz Skirt Streak for the lady with rice and plantains and a 12oz Skirt Steak with INCREDIBLY delicious mashed potatoes! Did I mention how delicious the mash was? Everything they brought to the table was perfect! The steaks were cooked exactly to our specifications and the chimichurri was excellent. Prices were very fair and reasonable and the service was A+! Friendly, Professional and Efficient.
