    Violinist!?!!

! I just wanted soup without having to sit at a chain restaurant, and we got sooo much more then what I asked for. Walked into this Argentinian restaurant ( which is always a good idea) with not very high expectations, and left wanting more. Food: excellent, service: attentive, music: LIVE violinist!! And apparently they have live music on a daily. My favorite part! Fresh complimentary bread once you're seated and a great variety of Argentinian wine, sangria, Meat and pasta. We had the pumpkin soup and vodka pasta with chicken.. yuuuuum. An unexpected delight. Great spot in such an unlikely shopping plaza. Check them out!

What is with the "Non Cash adj" fee?! Seriously!

The last time I was here was may be two years ago. I had been here before about a hand full of times and everything was fine, even great. Also, the please had a different name and two blocks away from where I live. Today, Sunday, January 10th, 2022, I was there with my family for dinner. The waitress was great. She was fun and attentive.. Also, 2022 brings in the high prices!!!! Service gratuity is included. I had to ask to be taken off my receipt, since the included gratuity was also included in the tax. Tax is not tip-able!!! Also, paying with your credit card will also add a "Non Cash Adj" FEE. It's ridiculous! When I asked the waitress, to remove the gratuity she had the need to let me know she only gets pay $5 and hour. I am a tipper. And when I get good service I'm very generous. I just don't like to be told what to tip! My mom, ask for medium well steak, she got it well done. My grandfather, said his congris was dry and overcooked. The flan was flavorless. The only thing adding flavor was the dulce de leche on top of the flan. I don't see myself comeback here again. I would like to give five the violinist. He was awesome!

After many changes, from the menu, lightings, personal to the owner things are getting into place again. To be fair the food has been consistent for most of the time thought the years, but the ambience, services and music have had many highs and lows. Since June I have felt much better coming here because the music is smooth and enjoyable for a restaurant. I have not come during the weekends when they have live music, I'm not sure the type of music it's played, so I'm talking about lunch time, I presume that it's slow music but I'm being told it depend on the atmosphere and people requests... Bottom line, this place is looking much better now and it serve my purpose very well, having a relaxing lunch once or twice a week!

So anyways, let's talk about their food. I'll just say it's delicious, nothing fancy. I'll recommend the steak we ordered. We both ordered a steak and a wine which was very affordable and delicious. Our kids only ate 1portion of burger and fries because I know they can't finish it because the portion of their burger and fries were so big. The food here is very affordable, they are very tasty, very clean place and large portions. If ever you want to visit here, you should make a reservation in advance because thre are too many people who come here and there's a chance that there won't be any seats available by the time you arrive. That's one of the reasons why my wife and I have private dining.

My drink the Circus Permit was soooooo good. The rolls were perfect - a crusty outside and dreamy soft inside with some yummy butter. Oh the Cesar salad was amazing too. We decided on the hanger with potato butter bc so many had mentioned it on reviews . It wasn't my favorite but it was good . The music and vibe was fully vibing. My husband and I had reservations in the outside courtyard and I was nervous about the heat and humidity but the restaurant truly thought of everything. We felt a nice breeze throughout dinner and didn't feel the Miami summer heat and was able to enjoy our dinner. The food: Oysters were amazing despite being on the smaller side. The octopus ceviche was not fishy at all and I really liked the peanut sauce in the octopus ceviche. For main course we enjoyed the prime rib with asparagus, pomme purée, creamed spinach and tomato salad (the salad was so refreshing!) the cut of steak was absolutely amazing (like butter!) For dessert we enjoyed the banana toffee cheesecake and passionfruit sorbet and both hit the mark. Honestly Sunny's exceeded expectations and was absolutely worth it. We hope to come back again soon! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. You can immediately tell this is a place that takes hospitality seriously. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was beautifully presented and delicately seasoned--light, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin the meal. The wedge salad followed, crisp and refreshing with just the right balance of richness and acidity. For the mains, the experience really elevated. I had the tomahawk steak, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the better steaks I've had in Miami. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, and this dish deserves special mention: it wasn't just ravioli with a hint of lobster--it actually featured generous, large pieces of lobster, which made it feel both indulgent and well worth ordering. The ambiance strikes a great balance between upscale and lively, making it ideal for both a special occasion or an elevated night out in Brickell. Now, to be clear--prices are definitely on the higher side. But in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Between the quality of the food, the execution, and the level of service, it feels justified. Bottom line...If you're willing to splurge for a memorable steakhouse experience, Dirty French Steakhouse is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Service was warm and friendly overall but not always as attentive. Small lapses stood out (most notably, red wine being poured into my champagne glass) but those things happen and were apologized. Food-wise, everything we ordered was good but some dishes felt overpriced for what they were. The beef carpaccio,l was overwhelmed by oil which dulled the delicacy of the meat. The wedge salad was similarly heavy-handed: fully tossed and drenched in dressing losing the crisp that makes a wedge shine. That said, the filet mignon was excellent: well-cooked, properly seasoned, and easily the standout of the meal. It was the dish that felt most worth its price. Overall, Miami's Dirty French is a great choice for a sexy steakhouse night out with a lively atmosphere and solid food.

A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.
