Dinner at Baires Grill was a fantastic experience, made even more special thanks to Matilde, our server. She thoughtfully addressed every request, from warming up the bread to perfectly toasting it, small details that truly elevated the evening. The appetizers set the tone.. A must-try is the goat cheese cheese cake: creamy, smooth, flavorful, and slightly sweet. If you enjoy a sweet-forward appetizer, this one is a winner. However, if you're leaning more savory, La Tablita is the way to go, juicy blood sausage, meaty and flavorful sausage, and cheese-onion empanadas that are perfectly grilled cheese and wonderfully toasted. Another standout was the grilled octopus with crushed almonds, cooked just right and full of depth. For the entrées, you can't go wrong with the Brazilian-style picanha cooked the Argentine way, rich, juicy, and full of flavor. The classic filet mignon was also very meaty, though I found it slightly mild; pairing it with the sweet potato fries was the best match, they were unexpectedly better than the truffle fries. The desserts also stole the show. The molten dulce de leche lava cake, the crêpe with warm dulce de leche, and the flan were our full dose of dulce de leche. The highlight was the lava cake served warmed, melting the ice cream and bathing the dessert in vanilla lava ice cream. The warm dulce de leche on the crêpe felt like an extra shot of one of my favorite Argentine treats. We wrapped it all up with a warm, foamy cinnamon cappuccino, the perfect digestivo. Pro tip: make sure to order a good Malbec or Cabernet Sauvignon (of course Argentinian wines) to properly accompany the meats. The ambiance is very corporate steakhouse oriented, maybe it is the Brickell vibes. Side note: love the name, Baires, short for Buenos Aires, a very creative acronym. read more

Don't understand how this once, very good restaurant cannot get takeout, delivery food correct. You MUST video opening bag and check food order, execution. Uber Eats uses Robots and never received order, Uber punted and found dead robot and delivered 1 hour late, cold food. Offered 2/1 Empanadas and only received 1. They don't care. Bypassed Uber, called Rest. Thats is not easy too. Since when does "Char-Grilled" Chicken breast get breaded? Fried, then grilled marks? Never! Kitchen obviously did not read order, packaged horrible breast then put so many staples on bag, obvious was to refrain from examining the food while there. I've passed by this place in Brickell for a long time and had a good experience when I got around to trying it! They did a great job accommodating our large group of over 8 people, and provided very attentive service throughout. My only piece of feedback was that the interior dining space was a little bit too dimly lit and loud, so that the ambience wasn't ideal. Love Baires! The picanha is unmatched! Great place for good clean high protein FLAVORFUL lunches. Atmosphere is popping with energy and the interior is well decorated and full without being squished. Had been wanting to try Baires, and I finally got the chance to do so. Went to brickell during lunch time around 1230 pm, it was empty so a good time to go if you're in a time crunch or have 1 hour lunch for work. When I left it was full house - just keep that in mind. Service was quick and very attentive at all times. They started us off with drinks and quickly brought out a bread basket. There was always a server close by which I can appreciate. They do have a lunch menu which is fairly priced for the quality of the food. We got the skirt steak with fries and asparagus. The food came out in what seemed minutes. So super quick and everything came out hot and cooked to the correct point. The place itself is small and quaint. Has more of a formal feel, but pleasant. They do have a nice patio area which will be nice once the temperatures begin to drop a little. read more

After checking the box for indoor dining, they tried to seat us outside. It was 45 degrees. We didn't want outdoors which is why we checked indoors. We even wrote don't seat us near the bathroom. They refused to honor our reservation. We've eaten at the bar often and wanted to try the dining room. On New Year's Eve, they turned me, 79 years old and my husband 88 years old, to wander the streets looking for a place. We finally came across Henry's and had a fabulous meal. I'm a big fan of Baires. Came to Brickell for dinner; I didn't want to spend crazy cash to eat well, and I also didn't want it crazy loud. Heard about Baires and figured I would give them a try, and glad I did. The place isn't huge, and the accoutrements aren't over the top. But the food was solid, my drink was solid, and the service was attentive. For my main course I went with the NY Strip with sides of creamed spinach and truffle fries. There was nothing left on my plate when I was done. Washed it all down with the Malbec sour, which is basically wine mixed with whiskey (and yes it was tasty.) For dessert I had the strawberry cup; this dish didn't move it much... It was basically a cup of diced strawberry in strawberry sauce. But everything else i dug a lot. The menu states it's for two, but it included skirt steak, flap meat, short ribs, chicken, sweetbreads, sausage, blood sausage, AND choice of two side orders for $80!!! Went here for a birthday dinner and was not the greatest experience. The food quality was overall fine and the staff were friendly but nothing extraordinary. I thought the meat tasted fine but other members of my party said theirs was dry. The prices are high, but what was really disappointing was we were not communicated that the water is charged by the bottle. Of course our whole party thought the water was free (we specifically said no sparkling and only regular water) but after we got our bill we could have paid for a whole bottle of wine at that point. The first cut is the deepest; the first time you pull the bandaid is when it hurts the most. Thus is my first negative review of 2023. I stopped into the Brickell Baire's for a bite in this subarctic Sunday firstly because it was one of the few spots with indoor seating available. Since I was by myself, I was fine sitting at the bar even though I was going dry. I started with their burrata and caprese appetizer, their skirt steak and baked potato as a main as well as the thought to maybe order dessert. Although plain looking and uninspired- no pesto, tomato or oregano - the appetizer was fairly decent. I did have to ask for balsamic as well as remind my server about the utensils. The burrata was creamy but the ham it wasn't obvious to tell if it was prosciutto or regular ham. It was hard to spot the difference. Next came my main, which I asked for medium well. It was fairly pink, closer to medium on the inside. I sent it back for more heat. There was also no chimi, no garnish on the plate. Likewise, my baked potato was just a plain potato with sour cream. I was later told that the loaded baked potato was a delay item. Again, uninspired service! At the risk of repeating the soup scene in Coming to America, you guessed it I had to remind them about the steak knife. I also ordered their strawberry galette for my sweet tooth. However, combined with the 15% automatic gratuity, it didn't taste like the best expenditure of $89. It certainly didn't remind me of the service at the old Baire's at Midtown! read more

I usually love this place and have had pleasant experiences. However I am pretty certain I got food poisoning on Sunday from the salad I ordered because that the last thing I've been able to eat in the last few days. I think maybe their salad wasn't washed well or maybe it was the chicken. But sadly I don't think I'll be back. I'm way too scarred. I wish they had more English speaking servers to be more inclusive. I'm still sick as I write this. I know ordering salad was risky but I've had great experiences here. The parking is as to be expected in Brickell. So be prepared. The location is great with wonderful indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and it was "cold" Miami evening. They had heaters on. Later in the evening they had live music as well. Our server Catalina was so sweet and friendly with great recommendations. We started with beef grilled empanadas. Soooo goood is an understatement it was great. Well seasoned ground beef combined with the thinly covered empanada dough was grilled to perfection so we ordered again! We had the medium picanha steak with some chimichurri sauce it was very tender and not too fatty. The medium was done correctly. We had the fries on the side it wasn't out of this world but it was ok. For dessert we had the molten lava cake chocolate and dulce de leche they were both delicious. I am writing this on behalf of my entire family. We would not go there again! First off, the service was terrible. The moment we entered, we were seated in the worst possible seat- right next to the kitchen - it was very noisy and we could see everybody's leftovers. There were many vacant seats, and after we requested another seat, no one else was assigned to that unenjoyable seat. Then, after we ordered, they returned saying that they had no octopus, and that they weren't out, just that they had no octopus. Fine. Then, they asked us if we wanted to order a salmon, we refused and said it was okay, they kept trying to get us to order, but we declined the offer. A few minutes later, they came back saying they had the octopus now. What a coincidence! Next, the food was extremely disappointing. They said that it was an Argentina cuisine, but it tasted like any other low quality American steakhouse - if not worse. The ribeye steak and fillet Mignon were stale and didn't taste like steak at all. Everything else was also below average. Only the octopus tastes good. The environment was extremely noisy. The people, staff and customers alike, were talking a lot and the loud music wasn't necessary. This meant that we couldn't hear anything, so we couldn't have a proper conversation. There was an automatic gratuity of 18%, and we were all very disappointed in the service, food and atmosphere. Would not go back again. read more

When the hostess approached me I just said: Table for two, and her reply was : Good afternoon indicating that I didn't greet her. That was very rude and uneducated. Apparently she is not familiarized with the rules and etiquette in the US and should be trained. The hostess approached or hostess is the one to greet the customer, not the other way around. She conveyed an arrogant attitude and a bad first impression of the restaurant. The rest of the service was average but I ordered a milanesa with mashed potatoes but they brought French fries and when I told the waiter he played like he didn't hear or didn't understand and walked away ignoring my claim, despite that I address him in Spanish. read more
