Klaw completely delivered on the upscale Miami dining experience. From the moment you step into the elevator to the stunning rooftop water views, everything feels elevated and beautifully curated. Even the live lobster display when you first walk in adds to the whole experience. The service was exceptional everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating throughout the night. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We especially loved the cured salmon and the hamachi crudo, both incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. My favorite cocktail of the night was the Oaxaca, which was just as impressive visually as it was flavor-wise. Having dined at Klaw before, we chose to return while visiting from out of town, which made this experience even more disappointing. Service initially started strong, with Maria and the sommelier being attentive and professional. However, after we raised concerns about the meal, the atmosphere noticeably shifted. The fish contained several bones, the carrots were undercooked, and although the items were removed from the bill, the service afterward felt far less welcoming despite our efforts to remain gracious throughout the evening. Hoping to end the night on a better note, we headed upstairs for a drink, especially since the espresso martinis were excellent as we had started our evening upstairs Unfortunately, we were turned away at 9:15 PM by the hostess, who stated the rooftop bar was closing. So my man took me here for my 41st birthday because he was anxious to find a place I hadn't visited yet. So we pull up to this place because it was the only one on the water and it was overlooking the biscayne bay on this beautiful January night. We had an issue with our reservation because there are 3 different systems that you can book through so he gave his name and the hostess said she didn't see our name. I don't know why you wouldn't check all three systems before telling someone they don't have a reservation but nonetheless after about 5-7 minutes she finally found it. We were seated promptly and the server who sat us got our first drinks and our water and from there the service of our permanent waitress was a little subpar. We seemed to wait an excessive amount of time for things and sometimes I feel it's because they have the guaranteed gratuity added. For me, this is a reason why the service should be even better because you are not going in this place spending less than $100 per person for even the cheapest things on the menu. We ordered the 4oz of crab legs, the steak tartare with caviar and the steak platter. The food was all very delicious but the bill was astronomical compared to the portion size. It was a great experience to have, but if I never go back I won't be disappointed. The steak platter was my favorite thing that we ate because of all of the homemade things that accompanied the steak so that would be something I would go back for. Overall I enjoyed my birthday and shoutout to my man for taking me to this place because it was great. When I saw that Klaw was organizing a small wine dinner featuring the wines of Tua Rita, I knew I had to attend. Tua Rita is a very small producer of exceptional wines in Tuscany, Italy. Their Redigaffi...100% Merlot... is their most famous offering, widely regarded as one of the world's greatest and most sought-after wines. One of my absolute favorite producers was coming to do an intimate dinner for just eight people at one of my favorite restaurants... this is exactly the kind of experience that sets Klaw apart. I was happy to meet Giovanni Frascolla, the third-generation owner of Tua Rita, as well as Alberto Prealoni, the importer of their wines. I'm very thankful to them for organizing such a special evening along with Dylan Robinson, Klaw's talented sommelier. The dinner was held in the Tuttle Room, just off the main dining room. Everything about Klaw is impressive--the historic building, the waterfront location, the ambiance, the service, the wine list, and of course, the food. Everything came together perfectly for what turned out to be an extraordinary evening. We began with an amuse-bouche: a small Puff Pastry filled with Salmon and topped with Caviar. This delicate starter paired beautifully with the well-balanced 2024 Perlato del Bosco Vermentino... good fruit, love the minerality. The first course was Dorade Crudo, fresh, light, and elegant--a dish that alone showcases the kitchen's talent. The highlight for me was the Morel Mushroom Risotto, paired with the 2023 Redigaffi. The risotto was perfectly earthy and rich, and the Redigaffi--silky, deep, and luxurious. Each amazing on it's own, together just amazing. The wine is young. Hard to resist now, but it will only improve with age. Next came Steaks, featuring two different cuts, accompanied by Potato Pavé and Asparagus. With two steaks, it was fitting to serve two reds: the 2024 Rosso di Notri and 2023 Giusto di Notri. Both were full-bodied and delightful, each with its own character. While they may not possess the finesse of the Redigaffi, they are excellent in their own right. For dessert, we enjoyed a small Flourless Chocolate Cake with Grand Marnier Ice Cream. Since Tua Rita doesn't produce sweet wines, Alberto selected the 2019 Colosi Passito Terre Siciliane, a Sicilian dessert wine from his portfolio, made from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes--delicious and a perfect finish to the evening. Great service enhanced the evening. Our every need was attended to by our fantastic server, Lia... and Klaw's sommelier Dylan. It was perfect from the front desk actually from valet parking to the end! First of all thank you to Sebastian and the Lady from Ukraine. They were kind, courteous, chatty but also cool. I like their attitude. Ambience was really cool. They took us outside it was breeze so we could sit the outside with the beautiful view. Matteo served us. He was pretty, kind and cool waitress. He look after us very well. His guidance was copacetic... We started with drinks... And than we took wagyu tataki and STRACCIATELLA king crab.. I love all. Klaw is hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in Miami, FL. I am born and raised from Miami for context. It's quite unique to see the Norwegian crabs in the aquarium upon walking in. Each element of our dining experience was top of the line. We ate in the main dining room. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and provided tons of information about curating meats. He even brought over sample examples of meats and taught us about each portion of the cut. The rooftop is an alternative spot to eat where there is a spectacular view of the Bay of Miami. We got the American Wagyu and it was the best cut of meat I've ever tasted here in Miami. Truly. Decided to go to Klaw last night to celebrate my birthday the night before a cruise and I was not disappointed! The decor was beautiful and modern and the service was great. We got the African prawns, which were massive and definitely shareable with another person. The sauce was delicious. The chopped salad was amazing! My first tip is that self-parking can be a bit challenging in this area, so you'll most likely need to use the valet. It was a great spot to check off my Miami bucket list. If it's raining, I recommend dining indoors, as the roof tends to leak, though the staff did their best to accommodate us. We went to Easter Brunch at Klaw yesterday and had the best experience!! Everyone there was incredibly friendly. Our daughter was given an Easter goodie bag filled with things that kept her busy while we were there including a coloring book, some twisty sticks, and even some chocolate. There was even a hidden chocolate in the lobby area that she "found" and was able to keep. There was also face painting and an Easter bunny. They really went all out for the kiddos. On to the food! This was our first time at Klaw and the food was AMAZING! I started with a Señorita cocktail. We had a fixed price menu for the holiday brunch, so we had the Jalapeño Cheddar Cornbread. For apps we got the Sake Cured Salmon (sooooo good) and the Stracciatella (delicious!!) We each had a Benedict (Spinach & Avocado and the Lobster Benedict) both which were amazing. For main plates my husband had the Pumpkin Spiced French Toast which he said was really good and sweet, and I had the Lobster Roll which was also great. We were given a dessert with all kinds of fruit and a yogurt/ custard type dessert on top. I was away from the table when they served it so I missed the name. It was so good, though, and I loved that we had the different fruit choices. Our toddler also ate a bunch of fruit which made me happy! Overall such a great experience, and I would highly recommend Klaw, especially for brunch. I will say we sat on the Rooftop. I'm not sure what the difference is from the main dining room. We were on the elevator with another family who got off on the 4th floor for the main dining room, and we went up to the 6th floor which was the rooftop. Had the chateaubriand (16oz tenderloin) with a side of cauliflower steak and truffle fries. I was there in Sunday for the brunch and it was totally worth it. The food was delicious. You get to pick an appetizer, Benedict course, a main, and end it with something sweet. I chose to go with the sake cured salmon which was delicious. It came with some ponzu, scallions and sesame seeds. Came here with a few friends for Miami Spice and had a nice time. Klaw doesn't lean too heavy on the flashiness and gaudiness that a lot of other upscale Miami spots have, it's a true upscale steakhouse with vibes, service, and ambiance that match it. For started, the hamachi crudo was fresh and well balanced without being overpowered by the sauce or bits of lychee that rounded out the flavor; the Vitello tonnatto was beautifully plated but a bit too mild in flavor even with drops of caper sauce. The beef cheek was perfectly braised, meaty, juicy, with rich sauce that stood up to the truffle mashed potatoes underneath; it was probably my favorite item of the night. I only had a bite of my friends grilled prawns but they tasted nice with a good smoky charred flavor without being over cooked. Since the beef cheeks came with a side of potatoes, I didn't get additional sides but the side friend my friend was able to get with her grilled prawns was the crispy potato pave which are beautiful blocks of thin layered potatoes stacked with cream and butter and roasted or fried until crispy; the execution was top notch, although they did get a little dry and one note with the overpowering flavor being butter. For desserts, the chocolate espresso crunch bar with ice cream was exactly what you'd expect, rich and chocolaty but smooth . I thought the Greek yogurt panna cotta was the more delicate and interesting dessert, with a really nice refreshing guava coulis and custard, with a bit of extra sweetness from candied nuts that rounded out the flavors. Overall, for $60 and especially compared to Klaws normal prices, the Miami spice menu is a fantastic deal and definitely worth it whether you've never been to Klaw or are a regular! read more

We decided to try Klaw for their Miami Spice menu. Reservation process is easy and we were able to grab a drink at the rooftop bar prior to our dinner res. The rooftop bar was very lovely, lots of natural light, great music, tasty cocktails and a great view of Biscayne Bay. After the drink, we went downstairs to the 4th floor, this vibe is more serious, lots of dark wood and lower lighting, which was nice but definitely different than the bar. The server greeted us and we placed our order for a bottle of wine. Two of us got the Spice dinner menus and one got the regular menu. I loved my MS starter of hamachi crudo, my friend wasn't a fan of her main menu giant prawns. For the mains, very disappointed that they came out cold and not seasoned. We mentioned to the server and she brought us a flourless chocolate cake (we already had MS desserts coming), but was a nice offer. Went for the first time to Klaw for their happy hour on their rooftop last Friday and was blown away! Amazing ambiance, fantastic service and great drinks and bites. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was lovely and kind. We mentioned we were celebrating my sister's birthday and the message must have been passed on, because our server Abby asked us when we were seated and they were so kind at the end to offer a small little birthday dessert and note! And we didn't even tell them in advance for our reservation! Speaking of service, Abby was wonderful - super helpful with her recommendations since we were new and very attentive. She was often checking in when she noticed we might be in need of another drink or food. Also the servers bringing our drinks and collecting empty cups were also super helpful to ask if we'd like anymore drinks. You were never looking for flag anyone down here. Not only that, but minor details like someone coming to fold my husband's napkin when he went to the bathroom was such a nice touch. The drinks were creative and worth the cost. I had one of their specials that had a delicious mango mousse on top. The deviled eggs were flavorful and hefty, so a good portion. The tartare toast was also tasty, although just personal presence that I might have like the toast to be a bit crispier rather than the soft bread it was served on. If there's a critique I would have, it would just be to consider having more price diverse options on the happy hour food. Having only $16 options makes it harder to try more things and it's also a little odd to have both warm olives and beef tartare toast be the same price (although in fairness we didn't try the olives...so possibly they're amazing and worth the $16?). The inside is clean, modern, and really beautiful, and they've got a rooftop bar with amazing views that's worth checking out if you're just going for a drink and the scene. The food was fine, but the prices were really high for what you actually get. I had a filet mignon, and it was just okay--nothing that blew me away. We also tried a few appetizers: the jalapeño cornbread, which was good; the scallops, which were fine; a lamb chop that was actually our favorite of the night; and some tuna, which was also just okay. Nothing was bad, but none of it felt worth the price tag. Service was solid, nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, KLAW is a cool spot if you're looking to grab a drink on the rooftop or impress someone with the vibe, but as far as food goes, we wouldn't go back. We started with a glass of wine and the tuna tartare which was super fresh and flavourful. For dinner we took the recommendation of our server and got the porterhouse medium which did not disappoint the flavor was on point and it was tender and cooked to perfection. It came with a peppercorn sauce and garlic sauce. On the side we had the mushrooms and steak fries (seasoned with Parmesan and truffle - also amazing when dipped in the garlic sauce for steak). For dessert we finished it off with a chocolate cake (can't remember the exact name) but it was layered with chocolate and mouse and a crunchy layer. Beautiful second floor location on the waterfront with spectacular views. The ambience is set for dinner with low level lighting and a quiet hum as diners enjoy top notch service, food and beverages. Wait staff excels at giving a high level of service and know the menu well. Shout out to Erwin! If you're unsure ask for their recommendations and they will pair the perfect steak and wine for your palate. We were overnight in Miami on December 13, 2025 to embark on a cruise and needed to celebrate our anniversary and were thrilled to have found this restaurant on a search of restaurants near the hotel we'd booked. We had several appetizers including the tuna tartare, tuna tataki, shrimp aquachile and the grilled prawns. All beyond fantastic and seriously left me just wanting more of each. The recommendation of the Jacks Creek ribeye filet was spot on for me paired with the carrots. My husband had the Norwegian crab legs and it was interesting considering we'd never had the option to try it anywhere else previously. Ended the meal with cheesecake and a delicious cheeseboard plate with port. Highly recommend the port! Would I come here again? Yes! My Favorite Rooftop in Miami! While the dining room on the fourth floor is equally incredible, today I'm here to rave about the rooftop--and the fantastic team behind it. I've lost count of how many times I've been here. From anniversaries and birthdays to countless happy hours with friends (and even playing matchmaker for a first date!), this spot has become my go-to. The happy hour here is easily one of the best in Miami. Think amazing, rotating $10 cocktails and so. many. bites. My top pick? The lobster roll, paired with those thick, wedge-cut fries. The oysters are also a standout--fresh, delicious, and just $1 during happy hour. If you're feeling indulgent, don't miss the sea bass--it's outstanding every time. Beyond the menu, the experience is always beautiful. The staff is warm, accommodating, and genuinely kind, and the ambiance is a perfect mix of chic and relaxed. What an amazing time! Delicious food, lovely view, and attentive staff. Came here to try their Miami Spice menu but had to try some extras!! Oysters were good but the prawns were fantastic. I will be dreaming about that sauce. Truffle deviled eggs: At first the truffle can be overwhelming BUT it really is a perfect addition to this classic dish. Beef was cooked perfectly. Steak tartare was perfectly not cooked lol. Mashed potatoes could have used more truffle, but still yummy. Broccolini was soooo good. The capers with it made it top tier. My least favorite dish was the salmon. Not because it was cooked wrong, or didn't taste good. Simply the portion was way too small & especially if it's gonna be served on a big ass plate too.
