I came here for my boyfriend's birthday for dinner, and we both left thinking this was the best restaurant we've ever been to! Casadonna blew each category out of the park. Food: 10/10 - The food was INCREDIBLE!! I did not skimp out on tasting the menu, from drinks, to appetizers, to entrees, I left wanting to go back the next day. The Wagyu Skirt Steak with the Cacio e Pepe is now one of my favorite food pairings of all time. I also highly recommend the Truffle Fries. I am feeling pretty mixed on this review. I went back and forth on whether to rate it 3 or 4. Some stuff was great, other good, some ok, and a fair bit could have been better. I think for it to be a place I'd recommend (4 or 5 stars) there shouldn't be anything below average, so we're sticking with 3 stars. *Atmosphere* We were there as guests for a large group birthday. This place is gorgeous! Loved the decor inside, but the energy was more happening outside in spite of the dead ass swamp heat of an August summer in Miami. It was mostly enjoyable to sit outside, but it would have been better with more fans. This place was amok with self-identified "Instafluencers" taking selfies in the bathrooms and around the property, which isn't my personal vibe, but you do you. *Drinks* Pre-dinner drink service took FOREVER at the outside bar. And honestly it went that way for the rest of the night. We ordered cocktails/wine when seated. Easily took 15 minutes for the cocktails. I tried the Watermelon ranch water (okay) and the Siena (really tasty but a tad too sweet for me). For the wine my hubs and I each ordered a taste. They brought mine out probably about 10 min after all of the other cocktails, and then it took another 10 min for my hub's taste. He ended up liking that wine, but it took about another 10 min to find someone to order his glass of wine. Needed a water refill? Good luck. *Food* Food was mostly good but there were some disappointments. I can only speak on the things I tried or friends reported on. My tuna carpaccio was really enjoyable, as was hubby's wagyu meatballs. I also heard that the caesar salad was really good, and I think people enjoyed the endive salad. My linguini vongole was lackluster. The flavors were on point, but it was a bit too oily for me. There were a generous amount of clams, but it wouldn't shock me if those were frozen not fresh because 1/3 were smashed, and 1/3 were sealed shut like Fort Knox. , and the last 1/3 were open normally. They were little clams but very flavorful, but few and far between. And I'm not about to eat clams that were smashed because who knows if they opened naturally and are safe? The Malfaldine Alstice was very mediocre. The malfaldine noodles were interesting (never had before), but their take on a vodka sauce legit tasted like school pasta sauce. The lobster was more of a suggestion than a standout, with a couple larger nuggets and the rest were tiny morsels scattered throughout. As our entrees were fairly carb heavy, we did get a couple sides to lighten the load. Mushrooms were excellent and so flavorful. Asparagus was good, but the lemon butter sauce was a little too rich for me, especially when paired with such an oily pasta dish. Focaccia was god level good. For dessert we couldn't resist the Rocher. I forgot to tell them to put the cherry sauce on the side as I detest amaretto. I did my best to pick around the sauce but it was everywhere. And my husband doesn't mind it, but didn't think it added anything to the dessert and would have been better without it. The components were still very enjoyable. I would have licked the plate if it wasn't for that dang cherry amaretto sauce, or if we weren't at a fancy schmancy Bayshore restaurant, duh. I also had a nibble of the Miami Spice chocolate cake, and hot damn was that incredible. *Value* Hah. Haah. HAAAHAAA. Yeah this isn't a place to go if you're looking for good value. The menu is hella overpriced. They do participate in Miami Spice for $65 for dinner, but the filet mignon option had a $9 supplement. You really needed a side with it so you're not craving a slice of pizza after dinner, because there wasn't much else on the plate. And that means ponying up $17 for a plate of mash, bringing that Miami Spice value from $65 to $91 pre tax/tip. Then on top of that they're charging what looks like a 9.4% tax, plus the standard 20% service charge which is "paid to eligible employees in lieu of gratuities and the balance retained by Casadonna to offset operational costs." Wtf does that mean? How much goes to employees? Dinner came in around $150 a head +/- if getting enough food to be satiated, and one measly cocktail. I dropped $350 in Kyoto for an omakase dinner with sake courses and didn't break a sweat. So it's not the cost of the place. I absolutely don't mind paying a pretty penny for a stellar culinary experience, but this, at least for me, was not it. If someone else is paying though, by all means, saluti! read more

I found this place on Instagram. My friend and I came for happy hour (Monday- Friday 5-7 pm bar area/outside area only). There was an event happening in the back area so happy hour was in the front area. This place is super cute!! I loved the pink couches and the interior. We got: - spritz: perfect ratio of Aperol - La passione: you can taste the alcohol a little but a solid drink - pizza of the week: this was a seasonal pizza with peach, arugula, balsamic. We were told the dough is handmade - pasta of the week: I don't remember what it was but it was delicious and my favorite thing I ate! - truffle fries: this was a mountain of fries and somehow every fry had truffle flavor. I really enjoyed! Our server Kristin was great and lovely to talk to! I think they're still working out kinks for service. This little gem in the middle of edgewater is a must. We grabbed a quick reservation for the next day. Trying to figure out where to turn for valet parking was a little tricky. The directions put me on the other side of the street. Luckily I found a quick street parking. Klaw, a nice bar, is on the same property. When you enter the restaurant, it looks like a deserted nice beach hotel. As the host walked us to our table, I wondered if we'd be the only ones dining that night. We opened the doors to the outside and there was the party. So many people enjoying the Miami night by the water and it wasn't too hot out. There was also a young professionals happy hour going on. We tried the bread which was baked to perfection. Then we split a Caesar salad. I wasn't in love with the salad but it was definitely sizeable which I was surprised. I recently moved to the neighborhood and stopped into Casadonna on a Saturday afternoon. The space is gorgeous, I'd recommend sitting at the outdoor bar for great water views. The best thing about here is the atmosphere by far, it's on the water everything has a high end Miami vibe. The service was good but where they lost points with me is the food. I went for happy hour which is Monday to Friday 5pm to 7pm. I had a burger and fries with an additional order of truffle fries with a sundae for dessert. I was not a fan of none of the food, the burger was a little to salty and the fries were simply ok. The sundae was pretty decent. The price and the portions were really fair in my opinion. The entire space feels like a lush tropical garden with beautiful pink sofas, waterfront views, and one of the prettiest atmospheres I've experienced in Miami. Being able to step right outside and see the marina and yachts made the whole experience feel even more elevated. It's 2026 and my first stop had to be CasaDonna Miami -- and wow. From the moment you walk in, the aesthetics are absolutely immaculate. Everything was stunning but I would highly recommend sitting outside it was so beautiful. CasaDonna delivers that upscale Miami vibe effortlessly, but what really sets it apart is that the food lives up to (and exceeds) the look. For food, I tried the NY strip, cacio e pepe, calamari, and broccolini, and every single dish was outstanding. The fresh pasta was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful -- rich, creamy, and balanced without being heavy. The NY strip was cooked beautifully with a nice crisp on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. The calamari was light, crispy, and not greasy at all, and the broccolini was the perfect complement to the meal -- flavorful and done just right. For drinks, I had the espresso martini, Lavender Haze (gin), and Sorrento, and each cocktail was crafted perfectly. The espresso martini was smooth and bold, the Lavender Haze was refreshing and aromatic, and the Sorrento was bright and well-balanced. You can really tell the bar program here is intentional and well thought out. On top of all of that, the staff was amazing -- attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The service truly elevated the entire experience. Overall, everything was easily a 10/10 -- from the food and drinks to the ambiance and service. We had reservations and still got seated all the way in the back with basically no view. When we asked the manager if we could move, she said no because someone else also had a reservation and she had already shown them the table...? So what does having a reservation actually get you then? The buffet was painfully mediocre. Nothing memorable, nothing worth the price, nothing I'd ever crave again. Service was slow and inattentive. We were there celebrating a birthday (clearly noted on Resy), and not a single acknowledgment. No "happy birthday," nothing. I had to remind the server, and then a dessert with a candle magically appeared very last minute, very low effort. We ended up spending around $1K, which honestly makes the whole experience even more frustrating. Beautiful place for pictures, but that's about it. Definitely wouldn't come back. We ordered the lumache, tuna tartare with caviar, king prawns, and chicken Milanese. The lumache was perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful sauce that really hit the spot. The tuna tartare with caviar was fresh and elegant, with just the right amount of saltiness from the caviar. The king prawns were fresh, paired nicely with the the toast, and the chicken Milanese was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Absolutely excellent meal on the water with fantastic service surrounded by all the beautiful party people. Fried baby artichokes over the top awesome!. Chicken Milanese fabulous. Trufle fries extremely good. Focaccia came out rock hard but server took it away promptly with proper apologies. Tiramisu was delicious but needs a different name. It was all about the delicious almond ice cream in the middle. Crumbled cookies on the bottom and covered with chocolate syrup and coffee whipped cream. Maybe call it Casadonna Almond Sundae? Stopped by for lunch with Miami Spice. The place is absolutely beautiful, a must for a girlie date. Lots of people taking photos so be mindful of that, it's definitely an insta-worthy spot. Service was very friendly and fast, even when the kitchen was backed up. I got the tuna tartare as a starter, it was very fresh and loved the citrus ponzu added a nice touch. Upon entrance, the design is beautiful with a stunning foyer leading into an indoor dining suite followed by the gorgeous outdoor patio with lush green trees and a beautiful ocean view. The service was exceptional and all of our needs were accommodated immediately. There was a DJ on-site playing music during dinner that kept the energy lively and fun. The playlist was amazing! Now the highlight was truly the food. We ordered the oysters and hamachi crudo, which were incredible! The caesar salad was so unique and was the best caesar I've ever had. The interior here is truly stunning!! Easily one of the most beautifully designed cocktail bars I've been to in a while. Every detail felt intentional, from the lighting to the layout, and the ambiance alone made a strong first impression. That said, the experience didn't fully live up to the setting. The drinks were definitely on the pricey side (even for Miami), and while I don't mind paying more for a well-crafted cocktail, I expected a bit more attentiveness from the staff. The food was very underwhelming either over salted or under seasoned for all of the dishes. I requested salt and pepper but was only brought salt. Solid food, great for pictures but service is slow. THE PLACE: Casadonna is located in the heart of Miami, upon arrival the only method of parking is valet for $20 (it was a Saturday early afternoon). When you check in, you are essentially in a foyer/bar area, complete with couches and tall ceilings. Past the foyer doors into the restaurant, it is absolutely stunning, it feels like Miami Beach luxury in the 90s. Outside, there are tables and booths also nicely decorated and youre able to see the water from your seat. We were in a fairly large table of about 12 people and we're comfortably seated. THE FOOD: The food here is solid, but I wasn't necessarily blown away by anything in particular. I do believe that the menu changes based on season/day of the week so perhaps it's that. Her drink drinks, I ordered the Matcha, and it was the perfect balance of Matcha and liquor, not overwhelming, but I do believe it would taste better if it were cold. For appetizers , the table got bruschetta, bread and calamari, all very good 4/5. For entrées, I ordered the lobster roll which surprisingly came with fries, and a side of Caesar salad. The lobster roll was good, but had an unexpected kick, so if you're sensitive to some spice, keep this in mind. The fries were delicious, perfect texture and seasoning. The Caesar salad was averagely good, nice crunch 4/5. My husband had the Panini sandwich, and he was very happy with it - the sandwich also came with a generous portion of fries 4/5. Everyone else in the table had different dishes, and we're generally content with them. My niece got the Mediterranean salad, and stated that the check-in tasted frozen, I myself did not try this, but just putting it on here for record. The filet mignon lacked some salt aswell. For desserts, we tried a bit of everything, but the overall winning favorites were the Pannacotta and a white circular dessert that had passion fruit in it, these were incredible 5/5. THE SERVICE: Our experience overall was good, the only issue we truly had was that the service took extremely long - we would like to believe the restaurant was short staffed this day. We noticed our waiter Camilo, tending to at least four or five tables at the same time. Camilo was professional and patient. Michael, picked up all the plates, and served us water. He was on top of us the entire time, was quick, professional, kind, and hard-working. We arrived at the restaurant at 1pm and didn't leave until almost 4:40pm. Gratuity is included in the check already. I would say, if you wanna come here, do, but like many restaurants in Miami, I believe this is one of those that you go once and it's enough. read more

We went on a stormy day so the outside seating was closed and they had a wedding! luckily we had a reservation which they honored and sat us inside in a separate room. Our dining experience was perfect!!! For three girls we paid around 90$ each. Where I took a star off was when we ventured to the outside bar. Two of my girlfriends ordered an Ocho repo espresso martini. It was alright but the issue was with the bill. It was 37$ x2 = $74 before tip/ 95 after. That is insane. Incredible experience for happy hour as Casadonna! We got there at 6pm to enjoy their happy hour until 7 and the service was so attentive from our server Kristina and her server assistant, Christian. We got to sit in the beautiful courtyard which was so chic and the perfect place to dress up and have a couple drinks. We tried the potatoes with caviar which were perfectly crispy but sat on a bed of salt that overpowered the caviar and any other flavor. The Passione drink with cognac, strawberry and passion fruit was also perfection we had 4 of those and we also tried the oysters which comes with 3 oysters which were fresh and had the perfect toppings. Lastly we tried the pizza of the week which rotates weekly and this had peaches, arugula, balsamic and mozzarella omg this pizza was heavenly!! Also so well priced! Tiny Tinis on a Wednesday? Sign me up! What an amazing idea for a laid back but classy night of the perfect combo... martinis, fries, Cesar salad, and the optional caviar! You can add the caviar to your martini (regular, dirty, or my favorite - filthy) and/or their French onion dip. Everything was delicious. Our server was nice and came by a time or two, but the star of the show was one of the staff who greeted us and came by for drink orders. He was very funny and personable. Made our night a lot of fun You also can't go wrong with an ocean view outside (there's also plenty of room to dine inside their classic restaurant) and some live music playing in the background. Such good pasta! And really pretty inside and out. The bathrooms have the coolest wallpaper. And the service was great. They accommodated our large group and were able to move us inside when the weather took a turn. I'll be dreaming about the mashed potatoes. read more

This place was really nice. The ambience was amazing and had views of a water you can sit inside or outside. The music was good. The server was friendly, but I felt like she didn't come over as much as we wanted to we kinda at some point had to look for her. I liked the food. The portions are a little bit small but definitely delicious. The drinks were amazing. It is a bit pricey but it is Miami so what can u expect. If your looking for a cute date night or a night out with the girls this is def the place to go read more

Visited this restaurant for Miami Spice Event, it was spectacular to say the least. The location itself is incredibly beautiful, not only are the vibes awesome but the service just adds to the experience. From the hostess to the waiters, they were incredibly patient and helpful going through the menu. The menu itself was inclusive even with a shellfish allergy, started with the oyster and caesar salad; smaller portions but filling. The entrees were delicious and perfectly portioned for both the rigatoni and filet mignon. We enjoyed all of the options for desserts which were sweet and perfect to end the night. We also enjoyed the wine pairing deal, perfect choices with our meals. Overall an awesome experience, a must visit in the MIA. read more
