From the second we walked in, the experience was top tier. We were greeted immediately and the customer service stayed amazing the entire time. The ambiance was perfect. You know how some restaurants blast music so loud you end up yelling at the table? Not here. The music was at the perfect level where we could actually talk and enjoy each other. Any time I needed something, someone was right there to help. No chasing servers down, no attitude, just genuinely great service. Now the food. 20 out of 10. Honestly, everything was delicious. Not a single miss. The drinks though? 100 out of 10. Dangerous in the best way. Our waitress, I wish I remembered her name, was incredible. Every recommendation she made was spot on, and we loved everything she suggested. I would absolutely recommend this place, but part of me wants to keep it a secret because the vibe is just that good. We decided to try Cave tonight based on reviews from Yelp; as others have mentioned it has a cool vibe, and the music being played by the DJ was not too loud. When we arrived we were greeted and promptly seated inside at the back wall in a booth. There was another couple to our left and one or two others across the room at other tables. The couple in the corner who was seat next to us proceeded to talk extremely loud and had several FaceTime calls with their children as if they were in a private location and not a restaurant. Our entire meal consisted of listening to them in the phone and talking so loud to each other and their server we could hear every word! This rude and annoying behavior overshadowed the meal and left us very frustrated and annoyed. If you are going to require certain attire (although several guest came in while we were there who had on shorts and flip flops) and charge very high prices, you should have a cell phone policy in place and redirect guest to step outside or leave if they feel the need to FT their family for 20-30 min. We spent well over $200 on a meal for two and it was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The enjoyed the food we ordered except for the French onion soup which I sent back. The Burrata Caprese was fresh but could have used a few more tomatoes and my husband really enjoyed his steak. I chose not to order anything once my soup was returned because we wanted to leave as soon as possible. Over all the service was good and most of the food was too. Unfortunately, there are those who'd have no regard for their environment and those around them which makes others experience negative! Had a great meal here with my wife. We came on a slow Monday night, which worked out great for us as the service was amazing and what I would have expected for the amount it cost. This was right before Christmas so they had the restaurant decorated nicely too. The ambiance is done well here. The octopus we started with was absolutely perfect. It was very tender and cooked properly, flavored just right. I'd go back for that. Dry aged tomahawk was cooked to a perfect rare+ as requested, comes with a fire-show entertainment as you can see. Brussels sprouts and fries were great. Béarnaise sauce was great. All of that was delicious and you can see clean plates in the pic. Topped off with an espresso and baileys, as well as a comped piece of cake. I have to mention again the great service we received. From the doorman when we pulled up to our server and the rest of the staff, everyone was so pleasant. After going to a very popular place the night before which cost more with worse service, this made me really happy going to Cave 305. read more

So glad I did a last-minute reservation switch to Cave 305 to celebrate my birthday! Although it was empty for a Saturday night (it was Miami music week), my group had a great time. The servers were attentive and resolved issues without pushback. The wedge salad was crisp and flavorful, large portion that I split with a friend. The filet mignon was cooked as requested, was ok- lacked a bit flavor. The manager also sent over a round of shots which added a nice touch. Best of all- they really go above and beyond to celebrate a special occasion .. from the saxophonist to the birthday message on the screen and putting me behind the DJ booth AND a birthday cake with sparkler -- great place for celebrations. I started with a glass of bubbly champagne that paired beautifully with the freshest shrimp, dipped in a delicate blend of ketchup and mayo, followed by a perfectly crisp crab cake. For the entrées, the restaurant truly lives up to its stoneage name. The tenderloin with chimichurri was tender. But if there's a dish that deserves to be called their signature, it's the BBQ ribs. Went to the opening of Cave 305 the other day, and it was everything I was expecting - minus the AI caveman video (just kidding). As we entered it's Miami Beach Location, the "caveland" concept was clear. Think of it as a modern, Miami Beach - style version of a restaurant Fred Flintstone might have dined. The food didn't disappoint. We sampled the ribs, crab cakes, chicken, and fried Mexican eggrolls, a flavorful mix of international dishes, each with its own twist. It's the kind of spot that's perfect for both tourists and locals. The bartender delighted us with superb drinks, including one of my personal favorites: "The expresso Martini". It kept me awake all night long, but completely worth it and satisfying. Indoors is pretty classy and it appears they have a wide selection of wines. I tried the Barcelona beer and it's tasty. We went here twice during our visit. I'd definitely go back here. read more
