The atmosphere is unmatched, the food was incredible, and every space has its own perfect vibe while still feeling cohesive and luxurious. What really made it stand out though was the service. The manager personally checked on us multiple times to make sure we were fully taken care of, which made us feel so valued as guests. I've had better meals and experiences for the price at other spots in Miami. We sat in the rooftop and got to enjoy the fire and rope performances. We ordered: Old fashions 3/5 Margarita Verde 3/5 1 espresso 3/5 Still water The wasabi mashed potatoes 3/5 The Australian wagyu 5/5 Spicy salmon sushi roll 3/5 In total spent $396 (tips are included in the bill at 20%). Not only is it beautifully decorated inside with a beautiful zen/Asian/earthy motif but it also has a scene for days and music that is non stop and quintessential Miami. Food is great. Lots of different options from sushi to Asian fusion - really liked the miso and some of the sashimi and also the eggplant. Drinks were also great. Service is also top notch, very professional and upscale, totally what you'd expect from a place like this. Definitely can get pricey depending on what you order and several tables can be limited on time for reservations (which you must make). The cocktails are tasty and complement the creative dishes well. We really appreciated the space's design and the live show, which happens sporadically throughout the night. The lighting, decor, and plants make it feel as if you're dining outdoors. The service is very friendly and fun. Our server, Mike, made our night especially entertaining. One small issue is that we felt a bit rushed given the amount of food we ordered. This food deserves to be enjoyed and savored. I went to MILA for some drinks and was pretty happy with the two cocktails I got. Overall, it wasn't hard to enter because I was going to hang by the bar downstairs. Since it was quite busy it took a while to get the bartenders attention and order my drinks. Luckily that gave me more than enough time to go through their cocktail menu to figure out which drinks I wanted. I forgot the names of the two drinks I got but they were both good! The second one I didn't like as much just because it had lager in the cocktail but that's more of a personal preference than the cocktail being unbalanced. read more

Came here for a bachelorette dinner night out. We had a prefixed tasting menu. All of the food was very tasty. And the vibes were high. I would say for a prefixed menu it felt very rushed. Each dish came out one after the other. There was also a mistake with one of the dishes that we had to let the server know about. They were very nice and provided us with the correct plate later. I don't know if I would do the prefixed meal again. I would love to come back with a smaller group to try the regular menu. read more

Wow! That's my one-word description of my experience at the MILA lounge. My friend and I made a reservation a couple weeks in advance and luckily were able to get a good time slot for the lounge on the second floor. The lounge design itself is marvelous with a dimly lit atmosphere and calm yet upbeat music making it an all-around chill area to enjoy some delicious cuisine. The walls and carpeting are well maintained and the couches are comfortable with clean pillows with unique tribal designs. The service of the staff was top notch. I truly felt cared for, and the server assistant did awesome at constantly watching our table for any small adjustment that could be done to make our meal more enjoyable. He removed dirty plates, replaced silverware, wiped the table regularly, and removed any debris as soon as it needed to be discarded. The food itself was that of a smaller portion size, but it was extremely flavorful and rich. The sauces are excellently paired, and the menu itself was very well curated by the chefs. Presentation was great and all the food arrived at the optimal temperature. The best was the Chilean Seabass. If I had to choose one dish it would be that to recommend. Beautiful restaurant but the entire experience was overwhelming and overstimulating for a night out for dinner. First, Walking up to club-like bouncers and front door staff almost bullying about reservation status and entry. Next, coming off the elevator to a sea of people, with no space to even check in for a reservation. The overcrowded bar area was a complete challenge to just put a drink order in. luckily we ended up behind nice people who helped us. When we finally got into the dining area, it was loud, so service had no space to be friendly. We ordered a table full of apps and drinks. Nothing was special about anything I had. An amazing experience at Mila! Definitely a new favorite spot at Miami Beach. We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, presentation and taste of all food, and the cool ambience of the restaurant. We had the caviar with beautiful sides and the premium tasting menu. Everything we tried was delicious. From the nigiri, to the skirt steak, to the dessert - all amazing! It was a very busy night, but we didn't feel that from our servers. They were on top of everything, as though we were their only table. The best dish was probably the truffle sushi. The seabass had a good Thai sauce on it. The chicken yakitori was very dry but we ended up putting the Thai sauce on it to make it better. MILA Miami is a fantastic and sophisticated MediterrAsian restaurant, rooftop lounge and mixology bar located in the heart of Miami Beach.  I came for my birthday with my family and what a treat it was! I mean, WOW! The food here draws influences from the Mediterranean and Japan, and the dishes are served in the informal izakaya dining style, meaning they are meant to be shared at the table. Basically, tapas style. We tried the skinny spicy margaritas, several dishes (pictured), and three desserts. Everything was delicious, particularly the desserts. The service was superb and the entire vibe was sophisticated. The common areas were, spacious, clean and easy to walk in. It is centrally located, but parking is limited. There are two paid public open parking lots nearby, which get crowded, so I highly encourage you to make it with plenty of time ahead.  Also, make sure to make a reservation if you want a table, but you can walk in and seat at the bar with full access to the menu without one (I would not risk it, though).  This is a high-end restaurant, so be ready to pay top dollar for the entire experience. I love love loved Mila. My friend that lives in Miami recommended this place to me and I'm so glad we went. I planned it as a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. The inside is absolutely beautiful, especially the water area which I tried to make sure we were seated next to it. They also had a fire dancer, which was really beautiful to see as well. The ambience is really sexy... Almost to a fault. Lmao The lighting is so dim that you literally can't even see your menu. I had to use my phone flashlight just to read what was on the menu but didn't mind that. The service was good. Our waitress was nice and they were bringing things out quickly as well. The food was good. I will say what everybody else ordered was better than what I ordered.. I really liked the proteins like the salmon and the Seabass. Aesthetic & food amazing. Attitudes from the hostesses were not. Four out of the five us were here on time and the fifth arrived within 5 minutes of the reservation. The hostess told us to wait at the bar for the full party. We ordered drinks and the hostess got mad that we had to close the bill at the bar because they would not continue our tab over to the table. She then proceeded to threaten that we would not be served if we did not sit at the table within 15 minutes of the reservation(she could see us actively paying checks). She also would not let part of our party sit at the table (the part that already closed their tab) which is how we ended up in the situation in the first place. Our waitress was amazing. However for the price range of this restaurant I would assume there would be a standard for all service. I understand the policy of not sitting partial parties prior to everyone's arrival but telling people to sit at the bar and expecting them to not order anything is wild. I chose MILA to celebrate my birthday, expecting an elevated dining experience to match the restaurant's reputation and price point. While the ambiance is undeniably beautiful and intimate--perfect for a date night--it ultimately fell short of the high standards that a place like this promotes! The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and visually impressive, but surprisingly there was no gesture for birthdays. Even something small like a complimentary dessert would have been a thoughtful touch at a restaurant in this price range. Instead, dessert was simply another item on the bill. The service was just okay, which was disappointing considering the automatic gratuity and the premium pricing. From the moment we were seated, there were signs of inattentiveness. My girlfriend and I were placed at a very small two-top table while a larger table sat empty right beside us. We assumed it was reserved for a larger party, but later watched another couple get seated there. Once our dishes arrived--both served on large plates--we were cramped at the table with barely any space. A more attentive server would have recognized this and moved us. For my entrée, I ordered the 2 lb Whole Roasted Branzino ($85) with shiso chimichurri, kalamata olives, and herb salad. Unfortunately, the dish was very bland and heavily dominated by fennel. The bigger issue was that the shiso chimichurri never even made it onto the plate, which I later noticed when comparing my dish to photos from other diners. At this level of dining, details matter. Another disappointment was the presentation. In many reviews and videos, the fish is dramatically flamed tableside, adding a memorable element to the experience. Instead, mine was simply torched from a distance and quickly broken apart. It felt rushed and inconsistent compared to what the restaurant advertises. My girlfriend ordered the 14 oz Prime Ribeye ($110) with yuzu kosho and rosemary marinade. I have to give credit where it's due--the steak was very good and well seasoned. The standout of the meal was the Seasonal Wild Mushrooms ($29) with ponzu butter and shaved truffle. The flavor was fantastic, though the portion was extremely small. Dessert was the Raspberry Cheesecake ($18) with sesame opaline and almond crumble, and it was absolutely delicious--arguably the highlight of the entire meal. However, when the final bill arrived at $417, the experience simply didn't justify the cost. This place was one of my dinner reservations for my 13 girl bachelorette weekend. Because our group was so large, we had to reserve with the prix fix menu and pay a deposit to secure the reservation. Our experience was okay, some girls have been here a couple of years ago and they said the quality has gone somewhat downhill. For large groups, the minimum is $95 per person IF you sit indoors. However, from the inside, you can't see any of the performers, fire dancers, for DJ so we opted to sit on the terrace for a minimum of ~$140 per person. This is not including tax, tip, or the Miami large group fee. I was happy with our seating. We were right next to the water feature and very close to the dancers - who were beautiful and amazing! The food was pretty good, with some highs and lows. The salmon was amazing. The sushi was not good. If you're going to serve sushi to 13 girls Asian girls...the rice should not be hard! So disappointing. Some of the cocktails were really watered down, like not just purposefully but they left it out and so the ice had melted. This happened to 2-3 of our cocktails and so our group asked for new ones. I was reviewing the check after the bach weekend and noticed that they didn't even take the original cocktails off of the check! :( we did not drink the original cocktails at all, they were pretty bad. Also, we ordered a bottle for the table. MILA isn't one of those restaurants that will do anything special for bottle service. Our server was okay. He wasn't particularly accommodating and was really rushing us at the end because we were getting close to our two hour table limit. I went to Mila for brunch on a Sunday at noon with my girlfriends. What an experience! The dining area is extremely elevated from the moment you walk inside past the security guard letting you into the elevators. As soon as the elevator doors open, the entrance is grand and beautifully decorated. The brunch experience I got was the non-alcoholic option which was priced at $95. The non-alcoholic beverage was a refreshing cucumber drink which I thoroughly enjoyed. There was an array of buffet stations ranging from cheeses, hams, prosciutto, bagels, breads, fruits, meats including chicken and steak, approximately 5 different types of sushi and raw fish, pasta and additional bbq style outside, as well as a dessert area. I truly loved the cheese spread and the grilled meats as they were cooked to the point where they melted in my mouth. I like my sushi with spicy mayo and the waiter brought me some extra to the table. All sushi was fantastic and fresh. The dessert table was filled with macaroons, fruits, cheesecakes, yogurts and more. I really loved the lava cake with the MILA logo on top of the chocolate piece. Spectacular experience! The only small downfalls are that, although we had a reservation, we waited 40 minutes for a table.... I want to say that the loved the ambiance and the place is super nice .. love the view and wish I was sitted outside. I want to mention that it was a bit crowded in the check in area. Everyone was just scattered and for such an upscale place.. it will be nice for that to be more organized. The food was a little too pricey .. it was 145 all you can eat buffet with drinks.. but the options wasnt all at for the price. They charged like 100 for tip automatically . And we were just there for less than 2 hours because at 4 it closes. AJ was super nice and attentive sooo want to give him props for being great. A lovely experience overall! First time we tried to go, we were turned away from the door as my beau wore shorts. This is mildly ironic as the gentleman at the table next to us last night was wearing shorts yet was allowed to dine. Regardless, we weren't stopped at the door this time and were finally allowed in. The salmon is the best I've had anywhere. The preparation is exquisite and the portion just perfect. Another standout is the truffle pasta. My beau doesn't like truffles, or so he thought, but he loved it. Even the corn on the cob was a standout and I hate eating corn on the cob but gobbled it up. The only undesirable thing we ordered was the broccolini, which had a very bland sauce. The fire show is very very cool and unique. Someone literally greased the doorman and they gave our table away. I would not give them a dollar and they don't understand Customer Service whatsoever. They offered apologies and a mediocre zucchini tempura + shishito as a thank you but a free drink at the bar we had to wait at would have been better. Dress code is not consistently enforced, I'd still obey it just in case. Our service was very good, which translates to spectacular since the restaurant was clearly over capacity. I would give this rating 3.5 stars if Yelp did half stars but because it doesn't, I'm bumping it down to 3 stars. I booked a reservation on Open Table, and it required a credit card on file. That was fine, but for some reason I got an email saying that the restaurant cancelled my reservation even though I had only made it a few hours before the reservation time. I assumed they cancelled it because they tried calling me to confirm my reservation and I didn't respond because I was getting ready, but I was confused as to why they just cancelled it without trying to reach me a second time or via text instead of by phone. I ended up calling the restaurant and left them a voicemail message to confirm my reservation and figured I'd go if it was still possible but would find an alternative if not. When I arrived at the restaurant, the person letting people inside said my reservation still showed up on their end so they let me in. I went up the elevator and confirmed the reservation on the third floor. Then, they had me walk downstairs to the lounge and confirmed my reservation a third time. I was a little annoyed at this point; I didn't think it was necessary to confirm your reservation at a restaurant three times. The vibes of the place were definitely swanky and romantic. It's not the kind of place I usually eat at, so it was an interesting experience. I tried the wagyu tartare on crispy rice with caviar, wagyu "shawarma" gyoza, and truffle pasta. I enjoyed the crispy rice and thought it was a little spicy, had a nice crunch to it, and good flavor (and tried caviar for the first time). For the gyoza, I really enjoyed the flavor of it and thought the crunch factor was great. As for the truffle pasta, I would have appreciated more truffle flavor since I love truffle and a slightly later portion size, but I enjoyed the flavor and the noodles were nicely al dente. The food is family style so it comes out when ready, which I appreciated since it means eating everything when fresh. The water was $11, and I'm not used to paying for water so that was a bit of a surprise. Overall I'm glad I tried this restaurant though I don't think I'd visit again, mostly because it's not my typical scene and due to the reservation issues at the beginning. read more

Absolutely delicious- we order almost everything of the menu but the hot pot and steak were amazing as was the service

Really liked this restaurant. Would definitely recommend for bigger groups. And try and sit outside if the weather permits it's a very fun atmosphere. Inside is great as well. All of the rolls were great and I would definitely push the crispy rice. No bite was bad in my opinion. Only rough note was the service wasn't great. For a place of this quality and status you would expect a little more attentiveness and kindness. Otherwise loved it! Would possibly go back if ever in Miami. read more

Mila has a great vibe. It's dark, music playing and it's always packed, you definitely need a reservation. We had a reservation but still had to wait a bit for our table. The service was great. We started with the shishito peppers and crispy rice with spicy tuna. Both were good. We then got the snow crab salad, which was served chilled and refreshing. We also had the marinated chilean sea bass, you definitely need to like curry to enjoy this dish. I liked it, my boyfriend didn't love the curry. We also had the truffle scallop roll, it was really tasty and had a nice crunch with a taste of truffle. And we tried the Wagyu dumplings. These weren't that great. They came out a bit cold and they just weren't anything worth trying. We ended the evening with the vegan chocolate mousse. It was a nice chocolate flavor and you didn't even know it had avocado in it. It was a nice finish to the meal. Overall MILA is a super hip and vibey restaurant with great food, service and atmosphere. read more
