Catch Miami Beach has been on my list for a while, but I'll admit I usually avoid the drive to the beach. I finally made it here, and wow, no regrets at all. In fact, I wish I'd come sooner! The restaurant is absolutely stunning .. beautifully decorated with a chic, coastal vibe that feels perfect for a girls night out or a romantic date night. We kicked things off with cocktails stating with the the Porn Star Martini was a fantastic choice, made with Grey Goose vodka, passionfruit, vanilla, pineapple, and lemon super smooth and refreshing. The Watermelon Smash was another winner, had tequila, watermelon, basil, Campari, and lemon. And had to end the night with an espresso martini, also perfectly made! To start, we tried the Wagyu Dumplings, which quite literally melted in your mouth and a must order. The Bluefin Otoro was also melt in your mouth fresh and buttery, and the Catch Roll (crab, salmon, miso-honey) offered a perfect combination of textures and sweetness. For entrees we got the Hot Stone Wagyu Fried Rice. Served sizzling hot, it came with shiitake mushrooms, Chinese pork sausage, and a fried egg , super flavorful. And, of course, dessert had to be the famous "Hit Me" Chocolate Cake .. a mix of liquid Klondike, roasted white chocolate ice cream, brownie, and devil's food cake. Every bite was perfection. This place exceeded every expectation .. stunning ambiance, delicious food, and incredible attention to detail. Next time, I won't wait so long to come back!

Soooo much better than Catch LA! We had a party of 26 and our server CRUSHED it! People were ordering drinks and switching seats to talk to people... our server kept track of everyone and their drinks no matter where they were. It was wild! It has a gorgeous entrance, not as WOW-ish as LA's, but still beautiful! And the food is so good. And they still have the donut wheel. Yum This is a really great restaurant!

Sat at the bar right as they opened. Bartender was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend Toro Nigiri Plate, Waygu Roll and Edamame. And I bet everything else is delicious. I also got a special chocolate chip cookie from the chef that was not on the menu. Ambiance of the restaurant also gives off great vibes. Highly recommend!!

The new patio looks amazing! Service was great as always. However, I was a bit disappointed because they completely changed their menu and removed some of the best items. There are no more pretzel bites, no lobster mac and cheese (which was the BEST -- I honestly don't understand why they removed one of their best dishes), and no more steak skewers. They should definitely bring back the lobster mac and cheese! Overall, it was still good, but it could have been much better if they hadn't removed the best items. Catch used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Miami, but right now it's unfortunately not on my favorites list anymore.

Sexy restaurant. Love how the vodka martini was served with a little extra. The wagyu dumplings were amazing. The sea bass was rich and tasty. All Loved the herb crusted Branzini. Music was odd for a restaurant like Catch. Nice restaurant, felt like a chain, dinner was fine - no rush to head back. Server was very good

The first time I dined at Catch was in LA, and I absolutely loved it! I had the herb-roasted branzino, Brussels sprouts, king crab tempura, and of course the doughnut wheel and everything was sooo good. So naturally, after moving to Miami, I had to check out Catch Miami on South Beach, and let me just say... it did not disappoint! I went with my friend for my birthday and the entire experience was outstanding. The ambiance was gorgeous, the food was just as amazing as I remembered, and the service was a 10/10. Everyone was super attentive and made the night feel special. I'll definitely be coming back soon. Catch Miami exceeded all expectations!

My photos don't do Catch justice, let me start with that. I was enamored by the selection, we're talking fresh oysters and gigantic cocktail shrimp on ice, fresh sushi and sashimi, an omelet station, large selection of fresh baked pastries, a carving station, and a grill with shrimp and chicken skewers made on the spot. The desert selection was amazing and I implore you reading this to try the chocolate strawberry cookie...MAGNIFICENT. We went for Sunday brunch and had a reservation at 11. Parking around the area is tricky, and valet is available for $25, they accept CC or cash. Ambiance was a 10/10. Food, like I mentioned, 10/10. We will definitely be back soon! Although pricey, consider the quality of the food, the service, and the spectacular views - all that considered, the price is justified in my opinion. Give Catch a try!

Beautiful spot with great service. Less flashy and clubby than its NYC counterpart, which was a nice surprise. The indoor area was a bit too cold, so bring a layer. The Catch Roll and classic crispy rice were both delicious if you're into that style of dish. The branzino was just okay, nicely cooked but not particularly memorable.

I came here for my birthday dinner and it was everything and more. The pre fix menu was amazing and the drinks were very good. The service was elite, anything we needed was considered. The restaurant is very beautiful and perfect for pictures. The Branzino was to die for. This is a must go to place.

The food was so so gooood. My favorites would have to be the wagyu fried rice, the rice cakes, and the catch roll. They were very accommodating of us as we had a late dinner and we ended up having a great experience. Loved the look of the restaurant.

Came here for their brunch and had a lovely time! The place itself is so nice! The bar inside is gorgeous. The rooftop is very nice with fans everywhere and roof for shade. I thought I would be sweaty because I went at 1 on a sunny day but I never broke a sweat! The service was incredible! Very chatty and friendly staff! Nick was amazing highly recommend him! The quality of the food is amazing for it being a buffet. I will say I'm not a huge fan of buffets and getting up to get your food, but everything I ate was delicious. My favorite was the sushi station and meat station. They even had a truffle pasta!

Short review: great experience, perfect for date night! Great service, delicious food. Will be back for sure! Full review: Went here for date night with my husband and we both had an incredible experience! The ambience here is beautiful & elegant, perfect for date night. The hosts greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome which was refreshing and much appreciated. Our waitress Skylar was amazing. She was friendly, attentive and really knew the menu. She gave us fantastic recommendations for drinks and food. Speaking of food, everything we ordered was fantastic. We got the baked king crab roll the mushroom truffle pasta (a must!) NY Strip & herb roasted Branzino and for dessert we got the "hit me" cake which is also a must! Highly recommend this place & will definitely be back!

My friends and I had just returned from a cruise and had one evening to enjoy in Miami. As…read morecarnivores, we thought this restaurant would be an appropriate choice for dinner. We were so surprised and impressed by the service, quality, value, and execution of food. Alberto was our main waiter who was supported by additional staff who were friendly and attentive- simply professional and hospitable. We tried the ham croquettes, melted cheese with chorizo, and fried calamari for starters; and the tomahawk, rib eye, and picana steaks as our mains. The croquettes were so delicious with two dipping sauces- the green herbal one was a perfect pairing. The melted cheese was excellent, prepared and presented in a cast iron skillet with crisp edges. The fried calamari was delightful as well with large fresh pieces and accompanied by fried zucchini chips amidst the calamari. The stars of the show were the meats that were prepared just the way we wanted and like. Each person in our group ranked the meats in different order but we loved the taste with the sides- sweet potato fries, regular fries, grilled corn, and the salt and sauces. The meal was better than expected and just what we needed. We left very happy, very satisfied, and very grateful for the experience. Thanks to Alberto and team!

To start, I was trying to eat at Tapelia and when we asked to be seated we were put in Ole Ole…read morerestaurant which was confusing but we went with it as we didn't want to sit outside. A short recap of the restaurant is the food is not worth the wait at all! We placed our order of drinks, appetizers and main dishes at 2:57. The restaurant was at maybe 60-70% capacity. Our drinks came relatively fast. When we noticed our patrons next to us had already almost finished their appetizers despite being seated AFTER we placed our order we started getting annoyed that our guacamole appetizer hadn't even appeared despite it now being 3:20! When Henry, the manager, asked if we were ok, we asked where our appetizers were in a respectful way and our waitress, Adriana, came by immediately saying, "you only ordered 5 min ago" with such atrocious attitude that wouldn't even be suited for an off Highway Diner. Henry did a great job trying to lighten the experience, and our guacamole did arrive shortly after. Then at 3:45 when we hadn't seen our waitress once since the previous encounter, and our main dishes hadn't arrived we went straight for Henry and he said, "oh you're food is done, are you ready for them?" As if we had to ask versus them arriving when done. They came immediately after. Henry offered to remove one of our appetizers for the trouble but did not. Which is fine, we hadn't expected it, though it was more just annoying as he said he would. I love to tip good service, though this is a prime example of why it is not ok for 20% to be automatically included in a check. The patrons next to us had a different server and their food came out with great time and they seemed to have the experience we were hoping for when we arrived. So I would have happily tipped their server 20%, however Adriana did not deserve hers and by automatically getting it there is no way for her to be motivated to improve. Onto food, three of us ordered a salad with steak, I forget the name but the steak was so hard to cut and even harder to chew. The other in our group ordered the Chiro Burger? And there was chorizo in it, and lacked flavor per him. The guacamole was delicious as were the fries but the melted cheese with chorizo was not good. Miami has such amazing food, so I'd skip this place.

It was a bakery for many, many years, even after I left Miami Beach, when I'd come visit, I made sure to get a pastelito de carne with an orange juice and then one day; the bakery was gone and Pane e Vino was here in its place. As illogical as it may be, I held resentment towards Pane e Vino because of this. I'd grumble and scowl when I'd walk by until one day I saw a man making fresh pasta at the window. Yes, this piqued my interest. I then looked at the menu, and I saw a lot of wonderful variety, but mostly that their pasta is made fresh so it occurred to me that in this instance perhaps one legendary establishment can become another one in this place, and I decided I needed to give this restaurant a chance. I have some friends who join me often when I go to Miami Beach and so we ordered a bunch of dishes to share. I'm really glad we had our waitress Pilar steer us in the right direction. I love truffle anything and she highly recommended the truffle arancini. I'm soooo glad we got it, and that was probably one of my favorite things to eat ever. I have never had such creamy polenta in my life. the truffle and cheese in this was enough to almost bring me to tears. This is how great food is done. Even the salad and the simple dressing was amazing, really fresh and delicious. We tried three different pasta dishes, but my favorite without a doubt was the lamb ragu. This dish was everything. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. You know that lamb will sometimes have a gamey flavor? Not this dish. My second favorite pasta dish was the truffle ravioli. It's not like a truffle infused oil or salt they used, its actual shaved truffle, so delicious. The bread, the good quality olive oil, everything was fantastic. Even though my beloved bakery belongs to the past; in its place is now another magnificent establishment that I will look forward to visiting whenever I'm in Miami Beach.

You never want to feel bloated in Miami. We ate until we were full and were still able to wander around. No problem for Mareva and they didn't need a deposit for the restaurant. It is in the National Hotel, next to where we are staying box 1 check. The place was beautifully decorated and staff all attentive throughout the night. That was my criteria not my boss' since the lack of good service can destroy a great meal. The food choices all were excellent but centered on tapas and Spanish cuisine which checked the second box. Served family style we all chose a number of different tapas and shared. Then large patella dishes, they were plentiful and all delicious. Lastly the price, which may seem high for those outside the area but not for those who know Miami Beach. The bill for the 10 of us that included several drinks person and enough food and desserts to leave us full came to $1,002 including tip and taxes.
