We came here with a party of 18 for a bachelorette dinner and had such a great experience. I coordinated ahead of time with one of the food and beverage directors to arrange a prix fixe menu for our group, which made things very easy when we arrived. The restaurant is located inside a hotel and overlooks their pool area, which made for a really beautiful setting for dinner. The cuisine is Spanish tapas style and the menu had a huge varietyribeye steak, paellas, cheeses, cured meats, bruschetta, ahi tuna, and so much more. Honestly, I can't name it all... just check out my photos! Haha. The service was great, the drinks were strong, and everything came out smoothly despite our large group. Most importantly, the bride said it was top notch and loved the selection, which made it even better. Thank you for hosting our group and helping make the night special!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We came in with a party of 12, and everything, from service to pacing, was handled flawlessly. The staff was incredible at guiding us on what to order and how much, which made the whole evening effortless and fun. Every dish we ordered landed perfectly, and the timing was spot-on for a larger group. The bar menu and wine list were equally impressive, great selection and excellent pairings. It's not easy to please a big group, but Mareva 1939 made it feel seamless. Highly recommend for group dining or special occasions. We'll absolutely be back.

Stunning views of the pool and lighting outdoors at night is amazing! Service fun and on point! Servers are very knowledgeable on the menu choices. Our food was amazing everybody loved their choices. We had great drinks and took plenty of pics after dinner! This is inside of an all adult hotel so no kids were there! It's a great vibe! sorry can't find pics of food but food was very memorable!

I can't even find the words. Literally some of the best food I've had.. anywhere! The paella, patatas bravas, grilled lobster, drinks.. I haven't even gotten to dessert yet! Huge thanks to our waiter Juan for making sure we had the best time. I mean wow! Also, if you go on a Saturday night around 8, they have an amazing pianist playing in the bar area. This spot checks all the boxes!

Set inside of the National Hotel, I found this restaurant on a prior trip to SoBe and wanted to try it again. We love tapas and tried the endive salad and ham fritters. Everything was well prepared and tasty. For our main meal we tried the lobster and seafood arroces (rice). It was a little soupier than a traditional paella. A large lobster tail was cut into four pieces and mixed in with the clams, mussels, and scallops. It was a tasty dish and reasonably priced. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Apparently he took a liking to us and brought us desert that was on the house. Only negative was that there was a pool party going on in one of the neighboring hotels and we had to listen to bumping bass through the whole meal.

Well visiting South Beach I decided I wanted to take my wife out for a nice dinner. On this particular occasion, I decided to look up which restaurants were most romantic. Mareva appeared to be at the top of the list and had excellent reviews. And it was within walking distance of where we were staying. What could be better than that? Well, let me tell you. Excellent food, outstanding service, and a romantic outdoor setting by the pool, which was lit up and beautiful. This restaurant had it all. It is unusual to hit the trifecta, but great service great setting great food and at the bonus of romantic atmosphere. This could be the perfect date night restaurant. We started out with cocktails, which were wonderful and then went onto our appetizer of Jamon Iberico Fermin. Honestly, not being a charcuterie connoisseur. I probably lack the ability to fully appreciate this. They tasted fine, but just somehow didn't overwhelm me and considering the price I would not order it again. We don't want onto the seafood rice for two. This was absolutely outstanding and the portion was huge. We could not finish it. Huge is inconsequential when the food lacks flavor, but this was so scrumptious. We tried to eat as much as we could. We took quite a bit home and we're far too full for dessert. However, it being my wife's birthday they brought dessert anyway. Talk about extremely extravagant presentation and yet incredibly tasty. This was a five star meal that rivaled some of the Michelin star restaurants I've eaten at. I loved it and will certainly be returning.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the host staff inside an amazing space. Artwork is truly incredible. We started with their take on an old fashioned and a non alcoholic pina colada. The old fashioned was unbelievable! A bulleit infused banana and coffee- which was so delicious and smooth. We started with our first tapas, mussels and the bone marrow. The mussels were so flavorful, the broth was delicious. I absolutely love bone marrow and order wherever I go and it is offered- so have had in numerous restaurants. The bone marrow portion was extremely generous, with the bone marrow and the oxtail topping. I would have loved something to cut the rich and heavy beef loveliness like a little light rocket salad with lemon and onion jam to add bright and a little sweet. Still good. Next course- endive salad- really delicious. Last course was the spicy honey grilled duck breast- wonderful! The duck was moist and tender. The apple and accompaniment was a perfect complement. The service provided was excellent, servers were very attentive, refreshing our settings with each dish. A fabulous experience!

Very disappointed. I came expecting high-end Spanish cuisine, but got bland. I had the Chef's Selection Cheese Board, the jamon iberico, and the artichoke hearts. The accompanying bread was toasted dry and not that great quality. The jamon iberico was not very tasty. The artichoke hearts were ok. Nothing impressive except the decor. A beautiful setting, but it could not make up for the disappointing food.

This was my first visit here and it was pretty good. I loved the ambiance and our server was great also. I enjoyed the beet carpaccio as well as my branzino. I'd definitely return.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We came here on a Friday night and loved it so much, we came back the next day! Service is amazing, so attentive, and so kind. You could just tell the people really loved working here. We ordered the Pan con Tomate, Fry Padrón Peppers, Spanish Octopus, Grilled Spanish Chorizo, Patatas Bravas, and for dessert the brioche w/ coconut ice cream and guava + the other dessert was another bread with orange, strawberry, and rosemary cream. Also got the red sangria -- delicious! This restaurant is perfect for date night. Such a memorable experience. Tip: make a reservation!

Loved the mozzarella and chorizo, the seafood paella, the sangria and the amazing service! Highly recommend!

Beautiful outdoor patio. As a Spaniard the food was excellent. We did the tasting menu. It was well worth the price. The chef is from Barcelona so expect a northern Spain cuisine.

Our entire meal consisted of listening to them in the phone and talking so loud to each other and their server we could hear every word! This rude and annoying behavior overshadowed the meal and left us very frustrated and annoyed. If you are going to require certain attire (although several guest came in while we were there who had on shorts and flip flops) and charge very high prices, you should have a cell phone policy in place and redirect guest to step outside or leave if they feel the need to FT their family for 20-30 min. We spent well over $200 on a meal for two and it was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The enjoyed the food we ordered except for the French onion soup which I sent back. The Burrata Caprese was fresh but could have used a few more tomatoes and my husband really enjoyed his steak. I chose not to order anything once my soup was returned because we wanted to leave as soon as possible. Over all the service was good and most of the food was too. Unfortunately, there are those who'd have no regard for their environment and those around them which makes others experience negative! The manager and severs were aware of what they were doing too as they walked by a few times and looked at them. But failed to intervene and for that they get two stars.
