The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. I had the Medianoche sandwich, which gets its name from the urban legend of it being to "go to" food to satisfy your midnight hunger in pre-Communist Cuba. I also had a mango "batido", that uniquely Cuban jewel that magically comes out of the blenders of places like this. Talking about mango... you can also walk away with a large container of freshly cut mango for about $10! The perfect strolling fruit to eat as you walk by all the other cool spaces around the area!
