Had heard about Bunbury for a while and was excited to go there for a quick bite. Was welcomed by the hostess and the servicer was extremely attentive. They helped us pick some items to try. The lamb Empanada was my favorite and the Brie Crocante was superb. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior design is so unique with their literary theme and unique furniture.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely return and recommend trying if you are looking for a unique experience in Miami.

Authentic Argentine Soul in Edgewater We were looking for a steak dinner with colleagues that offered a bit more character than the standard Miami spectacle, and going the Argentinian route at Bunbury was the right call. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance hits that perfect low-light steakhouse note with some truly cool decor--walking through a bookcase in the bar past a massive wall of Malbecs and a unique cabinet-drawer wall treatment set the tone for a great night at a rough wood table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with a variety of empanadas. I went straight for the steak and chimichurri, though the table also enjoyed the queso and lamb options. The burger sliders were standout--juicy and topped with a lovely sautéed mushroom finish that provided a great hit of umami. For the mains, my friends stuck with the traditional flank steak (one medium, one rare). I opted for the flap steak (medium), and despite the name, it was easily the most appetizing cut on the table. While they don't offer a specific "blackened" preparation, my steak had a fantastic sear and char that was bursting with flavor. I substituted the truffle mashed potatoes for the sautéed mushrooms and was very happy with the recovery-friendly swap. A note on the chimichurri: it wasn't the typical oil-heavy green mix I often see in the DC area. Instead, it was more of a chimichurri-pico de gallo hybrid. It was lighter on the oil but still delivered a strong, fresh chimi flavor--a nice twist on the classic. To drink, while my colleagues went with IPAs, I wasn't going to pass up a Malbec in an Argentine spot. It's my favorite red for a reason, and it paired perfectly with the char on the beef. Our server was professional, helpful, and kept the evening moving smoothly. If you want a grounded, authentic meal that feels like a local secret, this is the spot.

What a great find! I can't believe we've never been here. Delicious fresh food. We had some empanadas that were outrageous- steak and the bunbury. Then we had the house made burrata that puts most others to shame. We loved the steak entraña and ended with tiramisu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in all an exceptional meal in a very unique space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is charming and rustic my designed, with open space, outdoor seating and a set up for live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also had the best old fashioned ice ever had! Kudos to our server, who essentially crafted our meal for us.

Amazing Argentinian restaurant at a prime location in Miami. They serve delicious empanadas, steak, and cocktails. Their extensive wine menu is a plus. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bunbury has a lovely and inviting atmosphere- providing live music and a library themed decor vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend and the prices are very reasonable. The short rib to cleanse the palate was an excellent touch- and the service was exceptional.

This place was so good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the atmosphere it was beautiful and quaint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I forgot to take pictures of all the appetizers we got but everything was super good and tasty. Highly recommend! Service was great and super helpful

Came for Miami spice and it didn't disappoint. They also gave us some complimentary mini apps that were super tasty. Mashed potato and bread with a spread. I enjoyed all the dishes I had! Servers were attentive and very good.

We went here on a spur of a moment for our first time traveling to Miami. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is tucked on a street in the heart of downtown and the ambiance was really nice, quiet, calming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customer service was great. Keep in mind they do the automatic service charge here! The food was absolutely delicious. Their duck paired with the potato purée was amazing and their steak was cooked perfectly.

We had an amazing time celebrating a birthday. The restaurant has such a great vibe. It is decorated incredibly beautifully and is so cozy. The service was impeccable, they really made us feel at home and provided great tips and recommendations one what to order to have a great first time experience. The food was really amazing. The empanadas, tuna tartar, mollejas, morcilla, and pumpkin cream were all amazing appetizers. For entree we had the entraña (churrasco) and veggie lasagna both incredibly good. We finished it off with sabayon ice cream and flan. Definitely a place to experience. Will be coming back!

Reservations for 7:30 pm on a Saturday evening. Sat right away. Had some time to take photos on the couch with all the books. Went thru the secret book shelf door to a lovely dining area. Ordered 4 empanadas which were all delicious. Drinks were amazing. Ordered a Grey Goose dirty martini with blue cheese olives ! Paloma with Patron Silver ! Entrees were spectacular. Braised short rib on a bed of polenta. Orecchiette with ragú. Vacío with mashed potatoes and salad. The dining room has two person tables that are little desks. Beautiful! Live music was also a great touch. Dessert we ordered panqueque with Dulce de leche and Tiramisu Valet parking simple easy and walking distance to the Adrienne Arsht Center. They even have a private room with a pool table and great decor. The evening ended with the check brought inside a real book "Elvis is dead"

This was my third visit to Bunbury... and again I left quite happy. One party ordered their chicken salad w/the add of their steak! Wow! Do not skip on that add on... such a nice size & so perfectly cooked to your desired temperature. The empanadas are first class & made to order! Service has always been very personable & our waiter for the night was the same one from before - name escapes me but he is a sweetheart! Bunbury is DEFINITELY our group's official first stop & back up spot for the area!

We arrived in a hurry to go to a show and Bunbury was willing to fit us in without a reservation. This place has an amazing decor reminds me of some restaurants in NYC. The empanadas were tasty I really enjoyed the lamb one so good. I would love to return when we are not so rushed.

I think they fit Miami well, and are slight twists in classic drink options. Our bartender was awesome. She was super knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations as we decided what to order, and you can tell she really put effort into making sure the drinks were good. The drinks were really good! My only complaint is the price. Of course handcrafted cocktails are expensive, especially in Miami, but wow. The drinks were really small, and had so much ice that they ended up being not very many sips at all. They were definitely good, but the very small size for almost $20 a drink was kind of outrageous.

No pressure !! :(…read more With such an amazing and innovative decor, dazzling bar and great vibes, my sibling, husband and I knew this was the place to be to enjoy ourselves with some drinks! The bar was lit, poppin' and vibrant. We were waiting by the end of the counter where they checked out other patrons near the sitting area. We were overlooked many times... I locked eyes with one of the bartender and she completely looked away from me.. several times :( took about 15 minutes and we reached our arms out and flagged bartender Reilly. Her greeting and attention was genuine so I was happy to get her. Unfortunately, she got busy and we got the initial lady that ignored us. She was not kind, not attentive and didn't really want to help us - she was very fake. With that being said, we had to remind her of our drinks after 20 minutes of placing the order, in which she responded with an attitude "it's being made. We're busy" -_- -_- :( the attitude was not needed. We watched others that came in before us being served. :( I was completely annoyed and upset. She didn't even bring the drinks to us like the other bartenders were doing, she made us get it. Poor service from this one bartender while the others were happy and servicing their patrons. After our first drinks, I noticed she spoke to her colleague and he came over and asked if we wanted to close out.. . Wtf kicking us out? We said no and he opened a tab. When she noticed we were ordering more, she was a bit more attentive. So wrong. Luckily, the drinks were delicious. Perfect. We did end up coming back to the Lasseter and got a gentleman bartender that was so kind and attentive and made our drinks even better! The attention to detail and love he made in my drinks, so that is why I decided to make make this a 3 stars rather than two. He saved this place. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.

Anywayssss, when I caught the winds that there was a new sound bar in downtown, I NEEDED to be there. The concept of the sound bar is some type of Asian thing, I don't really know. But where in Asia there might be a few monks sitting around in silence listening to gongs or whatever, Miami goes BIG! Finding parking in downtown Miami on a Saturday is virtually impossible unless you bribe a valet servant with cash. So that's what I did. My ladyfriend and I arrived early to the sound bar, and there was already a hearty swarm of brodents and thots lined up to get in. Some crack head outside was shouting about IPA's. I told the door servant that I knew the DJ or something like that, and he let us right in. Once inside, the bar has that edgy big city, small hallway type of vibe. You could barely stand around in there, let alone get to the bar to order a drink. The mix of flapping gums and mixologists concocting cocktails made for a cacophonous distraction from the actual "music" we were there to "listen" to. My ladyfriend and I ducked out across the street to Black Market Miami Bar where the game was on and you could actually order a drink that didn't cost $50+. After a few libations, we headed back to Miami Sound Machine Bar (they need to put 'Miami' in every bar's name down here in case you forget where you are). There was a weird looking guy playing depressing vinyls with singing in different languages. I was more in the mood for something upbeat and groovy like salsa or merengue that I could dance to with my girls. Although I did hear the 12" Andrew Weatherall remix of Happy Mondays "Hallelujah" at some point, a staple at the Haçienda nightclub in Manchester - an institution that shook the music world and changed club culture forever. The head servant at the bar looked like Nirvana (yes, one man looking like a whole band). He was jaded and rude. I don't blame him! As the night wore on, the crowd got larger and more deplorable, and the room got smaller and smaller. I got stuck in an awkward conversation waiting to use the bathroom. I don't think sound bars are for me. Pros: The bar across the street had really fair drink prices, and the servants are polite and efficient. Cons: the ratchet yuppies that inhabit Miami's nightlife, always on the prowl to ruin a subculture with their tackiness.
