Abominable experience at that establishment. Most Racist barman/server. It is hard to say which position he holds at the restaurant since he was the only employee we interacted with as there were no other visible employees. He was at the bar as we arrived and 11 minutes later he was the server that brought us the menus. He did so only after he welcomed and brought menus to another couple that walked into the establishment numerous minutes after us. Note that he went to take that other couple's order as I watched stunned. They were sitting at the table right in front of us. I immediately told my husband that our money can be spent somewhere else. There were less than 8 guests during lunchtime, it all makes sense now! I wish I had read the reviews before trying that most unwelcoming/racist employee restaurant in Miami. There are so many great options in the area but as a restaurant owner and former Chef I enjoy trying different venues.
This summer our family went to La Vida Misma after being influenced by a video we saw on instagram. Everyone was excited to go, we were a party of 10 on Sunday a night. The decor is night, they even have a neon sign and couch to take photos at, but after our looooong dinner, we were not in the mood. The food was good, the service was very slow, only two servers working the whole restaurant and bar. Our waitress had to be reminded of things because the poor thing was running around like a chicken without a head. Maybe it was an off day for the restaurant due to being very understaffed. We saw our food sitting at the pickup window forever, some out our meals were cold. Unfortunately for our group, this was a miss for us. We all agreed that it was a one and done experience. Hoping the staffing problems have been resolved for future customers and the longevity of the restaurant.
While the bartender was so nice, he had no idea what a mixed drink was. We ordered a Manhattan but just went with bourbon neat. We had the croquettes which were ok. The sauce was hot but the croquettes were not. The choripán was ok. The burrata and prosciutto was average. No bread served with it which would have been welcome. Also note an automatic 18% service charge was added which wasn't earned.
Food was amazing, all their Milanese's were crispy and tasteful. The ambiance is family friendly yet romantic.
Great spot and I had a wonderful dinner. At first I felt like oh boy, will this be enough for me? And I was full and no room for dessert either. Don't underestimate that Schnitzel underneath of it all. Unique decor, great Mojitos and tasty dinner served pleasantly. The service was great and on a Monday evening I was there pretty much all by myself.

After visiting Fairchild Botanical Garden, we stopped into La Vida Misma .. drawn here by the Yelp reviews. The pictures on the menu were amazing .. sadly, the real thing didn't live up to the expectation. My Mojito was very good however my husband's Sunny Vacation was disgusting. The waiter was very polite about it, explained the Mezcal Tequila isn't for everyone and offered to bring something different. The Old Fashioned was good. Brie Butterfly was just ok (is it supposed to be cold?). The Caesars side salad was rather dry and tasteless. The burger was ok, cooked beyond medium, and could have used some other condiments to rev up the flavors. The Frito Misto only slightly resembled the photo. What was served was a whole lot of French Fries, 5 shrimp (reasonable) however the calamari was about half what was shown in the menu, where's I hadn't even noticed French Fries. It was good though, just a bit disappointing compared to our excitation. Late afternoon, one other table of patrons and two waiters/bar tenders working. Next time I visit the Fairchild Gardens, I'll dine somewhere else
Always looking to try and support new local restaurants. This restaurant is located in Downtown Dadeland and has both indoor and outdoor seating. They start you off with warm rolls, but the garlic herb butter steals this show. For our entrees we had Milanesa Felipe, which was a thin piece of chicken, breaded and fried. It was supposed to be topped with tomato sauce, which was missing and the chicken could have used some, but there was plenty of cheese and pepperonis. The other entree was a grilled chicken breast which was nicely done and juicy, although a little to salty for my licking. For our side we both got Cesar salads which the romaine lettuce was ripped into small pieces which was nice, it was soggy like it had sat in dressing for a long time. We will definitely go back and try some other entrees.
The tapas were excellent. Stuffed dates with blue cheese wrapped in bacon and croquetas with prosciutto & cheese. The burger was good, except we asked for it to be medium, but came out raw. Sent it back and it came back med rare. We just decided to eat it. Server was good but not sure she spoke much English so wasn't too personable. The two servers, were serving, hosting and bartending Place was nice inside.
Such a pleasant surprise! I've passed by this place so often because it's right by my Pilates but finale went after church one day. The food was DELICIOUS and such a large portion. Service was pleasant and quick. They validate your parking here btw! It was really cute, yummy, and a fun time!
Came to this place on a Saturday night, they had live music and it was packed. The food was excellent not expensive. They service spotless, and the location very nice. There's nothing not to like about this place. If you're ever in the area of the Dadeland mall come to this place , you will be very glad.

They had happy hour 2x1 drink specials from 5 to close. Didn't try any but definitely plan to on a weekend. Started off with the brie butterfly - it's super cute and enough to split in half to share a tiny bite with your date if they want to try it. The Dates were good - not bad and not the best I've ever had. The croquetas were so delicious - will probably order every time I go back. Definitely the favorite for both of us. It's in a tomato sauce that really should just be a tomato bisque soup on there menu lol. It was so creamy and so delicious. The croquetas order comes with 3 (round) meatball sized so you can share. Entrees: flank steak with loaded mashed and fiocchi Di Peta & Gorgonzola (delicious!!!! And reminded me of the old perricones). Steak was big and we ended up sharing both things because we liked both so much. Juanes was the server and bartender for basically the entire restaurant and he was killing it. He was as attentive to all the tables and it was busy and almost closing and the food was still coming out at a good pace. There was a table or 15 guests that could have slowed production but they handled it well. They even had him taking pictures for them (while he was running around) and he did so kindly.

We stopped by for an early dinner. The restaurant has a very neat and retro vibe going for it. The server was very accommodating for us as first time guests. We started off with the grilled octopus. It was grilled beautifully and not too chewy. I had the milanesa diana which was huge! As great as the flavor explosions happening in my mouth, parts of my chicken was a tough cut of the chicken which brought my experience down a bit. It's like when you get a chicken nuggie and bite into it and it's hard. Not what you're expecting. My kids enjoyed a chicken sandwich and linguine which had great flavor. My wife had a decent portion of salmon. I would come again. I would even sit outside if I wasn't a very sweaty man in this humidity. Just a helpful tip before you come: they do charge an 18% gratuity. It is listed on their menu. So don't freak out if you happen to see that on your bill. read more

The bartender is very good and they have a long happy hour which is rare to find! Food is delicious and ambiance is relaxed and good for groups. read more

Always looking to try and support new local restaurants. This restaurant is located in Downtown Dadeland and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Another great group lunch for two of our coworkers birthdays. We started off with the Prosciutto and Cheese board which was perfect for our group of nine people. This time I ordered the Eduardo Milanese with chicken and side of truffle Parmesan fries. I was very happy with my choice the Milanese made feel like I was still eating slightly healthier with the salad on top. But the truffle Parmesan fries were my cheat treat. Everyone ordered something different this time and they all enjoyed their food. This restaurant is definitely a hit among our group. read more
Have given this place a chance two times, both of those times were not good as far as the quality and flavor of the food. The second time was way worse than the first, which we don't remember it being as bad as this time that it solicited leaving a disappointed review. We came on a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty empty. The ambiance is a bit over the top, as if they put more effort into their aesthetic than their food. The service was very average. Now time for the food: Bruschetta was okay. Both of our steaks (NY Strip & Picanha) were insanely dry and barely seasoned. The mashed potatoes was missing salt, in fact...everything was missing salt. The butternut squash felt extremely buttery and the texture of it was too soft, we ended up sending it back. The best we had were the French fries and the brussel sprouts (good but very oily). Not worth the price. We pretty much had to salt everything because of how much it was lacking in flavor and something as simple as salt. Left very disappointed, not planning on eating here again. read more

This restaurant is cute and small, but mighty in their flavors! I ordered the 12oz Skirt Steak with Jasmine Rice and an extra side of Brussels Sprouts - delicious!! The steak came with 4 different sauces which adds multiple flavors in one dish and well complimented. They offer an extensive menu with a variety of dishes that I look forward to trying when I return! Our waitress was attentive and polite - gratuity is included in the check! Be sure to check this restaurant out if you're in the Downtown Dadeland area! read more

Sorry I only have pics of the dessert. The brie butterfly and the bacon & dates appetizer were delicious! As for the milanesa themselves, a little bland and the steak was tough. The bacon and date chicken milanesa was the best one. Tres leches was great and large. read more

Found this cute little spot at Downtown Dadeland as me and my boyfriend were looking for Tuesday Date night. My boyfriend is a big steak lover and although this place is mostly know for the Milanesas, the meat was great. Our waiter recommended the Prosciutto & Goat Cheese Flatbread and wow was it great. Full of flavor yet felt fresh, soft with crispy crust We also had the mussels which had a Grilled SteakGrilled Steaksubtle ocean flavor which wasn't bland nor overpowering I had the Top Sirloin Cap & Loaded mash. The meat was cooked, full of flavor, and soft. The loaded mash was just amazing (I wanted to take the container it came) My boyfriend had the NY Strip & Caesar Salad. He is a big meat critique and he had nothing but good things to say. 100% recommend read more

Our next food adventure take us to Downtown dadeland or city place after visiting west elm we walking around and we found La Vida Misma un restaurant con categoria de 4.4 y con 98 review. We entered and inside we saw a place where you can enjoy a decoration made for this time in which social media play an important role and with background music according to the moment. Customers service is fast and efficient because they offer you the best according to your taste, the restaurant combines two different cuisines and foods that are well known worldwide, which are Spanish and Argentine. Regarding the food, from the first appetizer we could already feel the quality of the chefs who prepare them, how they combine the ingredients to obtain the flavors that leave the plate clean and ask for another but different one. In short, this restaurant is a good option for lunch and a family dinner and another special occasion that you want to celebrate. And to talk about the price, it seemed fair to me, highly recommended. read more

Awesome place for happy hour! We got 2 lychee martinis for the price of one. They were strong but good. The appetizers were also tasty. I got the Migdalia beef milanesa which I loved! I would suggest getting beef rather than the white fish milanesa. The staff was also very attentive. read more
