    Vacio al Malbec

In a city of cookie cutter instagramable restaurants, we have a family run restaurant and they serve interesting wines like the Lioneli collection wine, 7 michi, and sponsor of Miami Spice terrazas de Los Andes. We started with their BOURGUIGNON EMPANADA which was incredible meaty and when you pour the mushroom dip, you dip and melt. Then like a true French bistro we had to have the escargot which were definitely some meaty snails, then of course how do you not get the ultimate melty provoleta cheese?! A foodies dream. We then moved to their BIFE DE CHORIZO, this gorgeous piece of tender meat, barely needed a knife. Then we went to such a comforting dish like the vacío al Malbec, nothing warmed my soul more than this beautiful roast served with some delicious veggies and the most perfect fries. But the dish I've never had and now will be forever obsessed with is the carne al disco, cooked using a disused plow disk in a rural area of Argentina, the dish is veggie packed and as your dive in, you fall in love with the Smokey and tradition of it all. Now Corina, we have to shout her out because she came out strong with the desserts, we had their delicious ALMOND CAKE WITH SCOOP OF VANILLA ICE CREAM, the CREPE CARAMEL FLAMBE WITH RUM and in honor of their 4 year anniversary their chocotorta which is the Argentinian version of tiramisu. With Miami Spice here, you need to take advantage of their 3 different offerings, they have a lunch, dinner and a signature meal that you cannot miss. Their miami spice is both at an incredible price point and also guaranteed to leave you with a "barriga llena corazón contento".

The service was amazing! The food was amazing! The price was amazing! I can tell they are family owned and care very much about the experience. The woman who waited us was very kind and made us laugh. The food was great quality and quantity especially for the price. And the restaurant itself feels very authentic. I will definitely go back and would recommend to everyone else!

Three desserts all made in house and delicious. Do not skip out In dessert.

Nestled in Wynwood, the restaurant has a chic yet welcoming atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that feels lively without being overwhelming. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. Every staff member was warm and attentive, and our server, Radomere, truly elevated the experience. Managing a party of 12 is no easy task, yet everything flowed seamlessly. He was attentive, personable, and made sure our celebration felt special from start to finish. With a group our size, we took full advantage of the menu. We shared oysters, escargot, crispy artichokes, leeks, beet salad, French onion soup, tuna carpaccio, steak tartare, and a beautifully curated cheese platter. Every appetizer arrived impeccably presented and packed with flavor. It was one of those rare meals where every dish earned compliments around the table. The cocktails and wine were just as enjoyable especially the dirty martinis, which were a hit with our group. For the main course, we ordered everything from the cheeseburger and mussels to the lemon pasta, spaghetti, steak, and chicken. Once again, every plate was beautifully executed and, more importantly, absolutely delicious. There wasn't a weak link in the meal. Dessert was the perfect finale. The dark chocolate mousse was rich, silky, and easily my favorite, though the profiteroles and lemon tart were excellent as well. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with exceptional service, it makes for a memorable dining experience. This was an easy five-star visit, and I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

The ambiance is vibrant and has a lovely, authentic French feel. The host was very welcoming and made a great first impression when we walked in. The Food: Given the reputation, we expected the kitchen to deliver, but most of the dishes fell flat: French Onion Soup: Just okay nothing special compared to other versions I've had. Artichoke with Aioli: Good! The aioli had great flavor and was easily the highlight of the savory dishes. New York Strip Steak: Very disappointing. It lacked flavor, felt dry, and was just "whatever." Pastis Burger: Like the steak, it was underwhelming and missed the mark on flavor. Crème Brûlée: Saved the ending it was executed well and tasted great. The Service: Our server was polite enough, but completely disengaged. He didn't offer any suggestions or attempt to sell any specials we had to ask all the questions ourselves. To top it off, after we ordered coffee alongside our dessert, he simply dropped the check on the table and vanished. We felt rushed, like he was just waiting to clock out and go home.

Each table comes with tomatoes and lemons that you can cut and eat with your bread. We shared the yellowtail carpaccio, duck l'orange, and entrecôte. All of the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted very good. I will say, the prices are pretty up there for decent food, but I believe you are paying for the experience and ambiance as well. The duck was cooked perfectly and the flavors really went well together. The entrecôte was a solid steak, but I don't think it was worth the price point. We also ordered the pommes frites which were very good. We finished out meal with the French toast with spiced ice cream which was a nice way to end our dinner. Overall, it was a good experience with good vibes and good service. I would love to come back soon for another couple tomatinis and maybe try the lamb or filet!
