I saw it on a TikTok video and thought it would be cute to take my wife, but honestly, she and I had an amazing time. The food was exquisite, the vibe was right, and I got major husband points. After that day, she had me trying to replicate all of the food we ate. Definitely go and try it, you won't be disappointed.

one of the best experiences i have had at a french restaurant. I love the cuban fusion. Ive gone 4 times and will always keep returning. The duck confit, french onion soup, everything on the brunch menu, its all delicious. The service is superb. Its a quaint little restaurant with so much personality.

This is the spot in Hialeah... hands down. If you haven't been yet, what are you even doing?! I've loved this place for years, and it never misses. Came here for dinner with a friend and honestly... it hits just as hard at night as it does for brunch (which is saying a lot). We went for the special... check the pics... but trust me, it tasted even better than it looks. The food? chef's kiss. The conversation? top tier. The whole night just flowed. It's that kind of place. I'll always keep coming back for that feel-good French-inspired food with a little Cuban twist... it just does something to my soul

What a treat to eat at this delicious establishment. You would never guess how cute and authentic the food is inside this restaurant located at a plaza. The inside is decorated with cute vintage looking pieces, and feels like you're transported to a restaurant in Europe. I have to start with dessert because it was one of the best crème brûlée I have ever tasted, the tanginess and zest of the orange, elevated the flavor and texture. We order the steak which was paired with crispy rosemary fries, the steak was absolutely tender and flavorful. As an appetizer, we ordered the baked cheese which had the best cheese pull. The cheese itself was not over powered in flavor , but very subtle and paired nicely with the sweet honey on a toasted baguette. If you're looking for some hidden gem in Miami, you have to visit this French place. Not pictured was the delicious chocolate mousse that was given to us by the owner Sandy, she is so nice and really cares about her customers experience . 10/10

This spot has been popping on my social medias alot recently When a friend suggested we should go. I was excited ! It truly is hidden in Hialeah. The place is tiny with sophisticated charm. It is a French restaurant. Most of the menu is animal based protein. I do not recommend this place for vegetarians. I struggled to find a dish to order. I went with the salmon. The salmon was okay. Nothing extra ordinary. My friends really enjoyed their dishes. The place is definitely a place that is very aesthetic and cozy. It is a great spot for an intimate dinner or a friends catch up. I want to come back for the brunch. Service was excellent very attentative.

We had such a lovely time at Fresa. Great food and creative presentations. I was surprised and impressed with all the flavors. Great steak!! Beware limited seating and parking. Those would be my only negative critiques. Lovely service and nice ambiance.

A lovely little spot in the unlikeliest of places: Hialeah. French inspired vintage thrifted decor: it's a genius way to make the most bang out of your buck when decorating: quirky sweet antiques. The cups and plates are mismatching, the silverware is antique, paper doilies as the placemats, and it's all reminiscent of playing tea party with grandmas old table setting. Food has many familiar French staples but with a twist: its boasts local flavors. A fusion of the best kind, with a Cuba flair. 1. Guava foi gras: sandwiched between pastelito pastry shells, it's topped with Redland guava jam and pistachio. So good you'll want more than one. 10/10 2. Épinards Galette: creamed spinach on buckwheat crepe with egg and duck fat potatoes. A good choice for those who are gluten intolerant. Buckwheat is GF. Not the most exciting of dishes but it's one that those with gluten issues can eat. 8/10 3. Macchiato: served in a sweet floral demitasse that reminds me of the tea set one has as children. 10/10 4. Crèpes Suzette: lovely. Just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely can be shared between two people. 10/10 5. Crème Brûlée: très délicieuse! It's now my new favorite crème brûlée because it has a hint of Orange, but not overwhelmingly so. It was perfection. The downside is that it's too small. 10/10 6. Cafe bonbon: its espresso with condense milk. Can you go wrong with this? 10/10 7. Dessert special of the day: Banoffee Pie. Bananas, whipped cream and tasted like Dulce de leche (original uses toffee, hence the name(. A fun pie. Not exactly French but it tasted good. Took it to go but it fell apart and cream watered down (melted) through the box. 8/10 Overall great experience. Good service. Nice environment. Gets full quickly! It's very popular, understandably. Deducting one star because they spray Lysol cleaning solution on the table cloths to clean between patrons so the smell is very strong and not great for those of us who are allergic to these. Better to add larger doilies and replace those between visitors instead.

It has been a while since my last visit to La Fresa Francesa and nothing has changed : great service and delicious food in cozy and intimate setting. I enjoyed everything, from the wine to the friendly service to the last bite I had. One of the things I like from this place is their by the glass wine selection. It's not an extensive one but definitely of great value and quality. I went with the recommendation, a Rioja Reserve, and it was Spain in a glass, nice balance between fruit and tannins, medium body. I couldn't resist and had a second glass. For the appetizers, the foei gras is a must, after all this is a French restaurant. It was so creamy, like butter. The jam is served with complements it so well. I could have only this dish and bread for dinner. Just delicious! I also had the Gnocchi. What I loved from this dish was the smokiness, love it. For the main dishes, duck leg and steak with fries. The duck was perfectly cooked, soft, coming off the bone so nicely. And with the confetti, what an explosion of flavors. The steak was good too, not the best steak I have had but I would give it a 4 out of 5. It was pretty good overall. Can't wait for my next time at La Fresa Francesa to finally try their rabbit. I always end up getting something else. Bon appetite!

La Fresa Francesa is like falling into a Parisian fever dream -- but in Hialeah. I came for the escargot and stayed for everything else. The cheese fondue was rich and unapologetic (as it should be), and the duck confit had that perfect fall-off-the-bone texture with crispy skin that made me slow down and savor every bite. The foie gras? Silky, decadent, with just enough toast to mop it up without shame. Escargot came sizzling in butter and garlic, and I didn't even pretend to share. The vibe is French bistro meets local charm -- romantic, loud, slightly chaotic, and absolutely unforgettable. Service was great as well.

Brie pear jam sandwich, spinach galette

Such a wonderful little restaurant. It doesn't look like much from outside - tiny parking lot in a little shopping center in Hialeah. Inside however you will find an adorable restaurant with great service and excellent food. The decor is cozy and feels old timey french. Staff were very welcoming and were helpful and quick when something went wrong with our order. We had a spinach galette and a brie sandwich. Both were excellent, but the galette was a show stopper. Everything down to the potatoes on the side was wonderful. The price was extremely fair, especially for the quality of the experience. I think it was about $40 for two people with tip. A great value for such a cute place and great food. This might be one of my favorite meals I've had in Miami. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy some brunch here!

Went on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and had a fantastic brunch experience for a dear friend's birthday. I will preface to say I do not normally venture into Hialeah and the terrible parking lot situation at the restaurant had me to an irritable start but it mostly only got better from there. All the food and drinks we tried were amazing, the service was just a tiny bit lacking. Nothing egregious but our waiter was a bit snappy when we were expressed we wanted separate checks and saw them after that few and far between. The bacon dates were delicious, as was the pear jam and Brie sandwich but the standout was the croque Madame. The pink sangria was good and honestly stronger than it tasted! For dessert we had a few different crepes. Do yourself a favor and get the French butter option. The cafe bonbon was a great choice to finish off the meal. Will definitely be back.

La Fresa Francesa is an experience that transports you beyond Hialeah. This authentic restaurant offers a true escape to France. With every dish, from the first bite to the last, I was consistently impressed by the exquisite flavors. My top recommendations are the French onion soup and the chicken vol-au-vent. Each plate strikes the perfect balance of rich, complex flavors without feeling overly complicated. It's an ideal spot for a date night, with a charming, vintage ambiance. The elegant cutlery and tablecloths enhance the French atmosphere, making the dining experience even more memorable. I haven't been this impressed in a long time. You have to check it out

What a great find! On a lazy Sunday afternoon, my husband and I found one of our favorite restaurants in Miami or should I say Hialeah. Reservations are helpful but we arrived without one and we were seated quickly. The ambiance was incredible. As you walked through the door, you entered into a world like no other. It felt like you were in a salon in Paris in the 1920s. Our server guided us through the menu. There was so much to pick from and before we knew it, we had ordered the bacon wrapped dates, the ham and cheese complete galette ( it's a buckwheat wrap with ham and cheese with a fried egg) and Le Grand Fresa Burger. The food was amazing! Everything was perfectly seasoned. My husband and I cannot wait to go back. We already know what we want to try on the menu. Maybe we will run into each other. Let's try the Iced Latte again or maybe the Guava Bellini...Yum!

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

I've been visiting a lot recently, and even joined their wine club which offers two curated wines a month. Locally owned and operated, I feel really good supporting a place that the owners put so much effort into to offer such a gem of a spot for locals. I've tried a lot of wines here, and I'm always amazed at finding something new to me that I enjoy. If you haven't been, it's the perfect place for a date, a girls night, or a day for yourself. They also have good snacks and charcuterie for you to munch on while you drink vino. Don't know much about wine? No problem. Their team will point you in the right direction and they have something for everyone. This is an approachable wine bar- they want you to enjoy the wine as much as they do and I love that about Magie. This spot has a nice indoor space and a beautiful outdoor area. They also have a sister location in the Grove.

There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice space to chill with some friends and enjoy a nice spot in Miami.

I know my favorite dish is always going to taste good. Never a disappointment. I'm a member of their wine club and I really enjoy their wines. I'm not a white wine or sparkling wine lover but their Blanc de Blanc is my personal favorite. It is simply delicious. I like it in both a Mimosa as well as plain. Our second favorite is the Lux Meritage, followed by the Super Tuscan as I truly am a Red wine lover. I recently tasted their alcohol free wine and was shocked to have liked 2 out of 3 flavors. The Strawberry Elderflower was yum and so was the plain. I forgot what that was called...Vivente maybe? Not 100% sure on the name but it was tasty too. So if you have non drinkers or any preggers in your crew CH have you covered. Now to the food my favorite appetizer is the Chicken Potstickers, the Asian salad that the potstickers sit upon is sooooooooo good! The wait staff always comments on how we're usually the only ones who eat the salad. That's sad because to me it's the best part! Asian egg rolls, flatbreads meatball apps are also good. The first location in the River is better imo because the location is bigger, there is plenty more seating than the Grove location. Although, I still enjoyed my time at this location as well. Sooo how it works is that you go inside and pick a bottle of wine from the fridges. You can also order by the glass if you aren't a big drinker or if you want to try different wines. The bottles are moderately priced depending on your selection. We chose an orange wine and it was nice, very refreshing, you can really get that citrus essence with every sip. Another thing that they have is that you can pick different cheeses and meats and they will build you a charcuterie board. I love this because it is all based on your selection, nothing will go to waste. They also have food you can order. A lot of people love the nuggets with caviar. I think they are decent imo but I'm not like in love with them. Parking can be a bit annoying... If there isn't street parking, you can also park in the garage. Unlike some other reviewers that scoffed at the prices of the wine, that didn't bother me so much. We had a bottle here that cost $55 and it retails for about $28; I was OK with that, as all restaurants and wine bars have a markup above retail, and even when you go to spots like Happy Wine or El Carajo and pick out a bottle to drink while in their shop, they charge a corkage fee for that. What I did have a problem with is that, after the "service charge" and other fees were added on, our $55 bottle rang up to more than $73 in total, which was ludicrous. When we first arrived at Magie we were met by a young guy who pointed out the bottles and where the various charcuterie items are located in the coolers, and we were then pretty much left on our own. We really just wanted a glass of wine each, but unlike places like Vinoteca, here at Magie they had a very limited selection of wines by the glass, and the ones available all seemed to come in single-serve cans. We picked out a bottle to share, went to the register, paid and the guy opened it and handed us 2 glasses. When I returned to get napkins, the guy just motioned to where the napkins were so I could grab my own (after moving a delivery cart out of the way by myself so I could reach them). Again, though this place includes an automatic "service charge", we received zero actual "service" unless one considers the 45 seconds it takes to uncork our bottle and charge us for the purchase. We had a seat, had a glass of wine each and then re-corked our bottle of wine and took it with us. Overall I think Magie is a great concept with lots of potential. The inside seating area is interestingly decorated and outfitted with lots of eclectic furniture and items on the walls, and the relatively large patio seating out front with tables for 2 to 8 people is shielded from the adjacent street/traffic and shaded by lots of trees and greenery. The ambiance overall is really very nice. The service, however, was non-existent, especially considering the automatic charge for that, and while prices of at least some wines aren't terribly out of line, the fact that all the service charges, taxes and fees added $20 to the cost of our bottle was a bit of a shocker. Magie should consider adding more wines by the glass IMO. Not just subpar quality single-serve cans, but decent wines, poured from a proper bottle with a topper that preserves the wine between pours like most every quality wine bar commonly offers. Lastly, while I don't think anyone expects linen napkins and white glove service, the paper plates and plastic cutlery customers are given to eat with are a bit off vs. what this place appears to be trying to be and the prices charged. The "F*ck Brunch" positioning statement on the back of the staffs' shirts was an interesting touch.

The menu presented menu intriguing options for food and drinks, and being a large group we ordered most items on the brunch menu. We were all very impressed with the food, even some items which were unique but still very tasty such as the carrot cake pancake! Big kudos to the server who handled our table, as he did an admirable job, especially compared to some other restaurants that made mistakes around orders.

4..5/5 stars rounded up! Group of 6 came for brunch and loved the food, great service (shout out to…read moreLarissa) and boozy drinks. Larissa sent over toffee pull part monkey bread for us and it was so decadent and rich - everyone enjoyed it! Spicy bloody Mary's had a kick and the cookie that came with the coffees were so airy and light. What we ordered: - avocado bene croast- overall solid dish... liked the croissant and bacon but wish the egg was soft boiled or poached and not the well done it came in - breakfast pizza - so good and had a nice kick - breakfast club - good flavor combo - winemakers breakfast - chicken sausage were good and the fig jam was yummy - we ordered our side of hash browns fried hard and it was good but could have been left in more. These as leftovers in the air fryer were amazing! Would definitely come back to try other items and shout out to Larissa for setting a great vibe with great service
